This research is motivated by the delay of students in working on the thesis. The purpose of this study is to find out and provide an explanation of the description of the academic procrastination of students who are working on their thesis at the Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo. This research method is descriptive quantitative with the subject of students who are working on a thesis totaling 292 students. Determination of subjects using proportionate stratified random sampling technique is a sampling technique used when the population has members or elements that are not homogeneous and stratified proportionally. The variable in this study is academic procrastination. The data collection in this study used a psychological preparation scale, namely the Likert scale for the academic procrastination variable made by the researcher. Analysis of the data in this study using the help of Microsoft Excel. The results of data analysis showed that male students had higher procrastination than female students with an average score of 57.18, while female students had an average of 55.59. The results of the study when viewed from the Faculty show that the SAINTEK faculty has the highest level of academic procrastination among other faculties. The results of the study based on morning and evening classes showed that the evening class (56.6) had higher academic procrastination than the morning class (55.5).

The purposeofthispaper is todeterminetherelationshipbetweenself-controlandmeeting the needs of students with school organizations atSMK X Pandaan, where there are problems due to lack of school organization. The population used in this study was 270 while the sample of this study was 152 students who were carried out at SMK X Pandaan. In determining the subject with the stratified random sampling technique, two psychological scales with the Likert scale model were used to collect data in this study, namely the self-control scale of the behavioral scale of compliance with school rules. Data analysis was performed using the statistical test technique of Pearson Flow Moment Correlation. The results of the data analysis of this study indicate that there is a significant positive relationship between self-control and compliance with school rules and the performance of SMK X Pandaan students of 0.37. at a significance level of 0.001 (<0.005). the results of hypothesis testing indicate that the hypothesis can be accepted. The results showed that students' self-control according to school regulations was mostly moderate at SMK X Pandaan. Highlights: The purpose of the study: To determine the relationship between self-control and meeting the needs of students with school organizations at SMK X Pandaan. Sample and data collection: The study included 152 students from a population of 270, using the Likert scale model to measure self-control and compliance with school rules. Findings: There is a significant positive relationship (0.37) between self-control and compliance with school rules among SMK X Pandaan students, indicating the importance of self-control in maintaining school regulations. This study explores the relationship between work conflict and employee discipline within an organization, aiming to uncover potential implications for achieving organizational goals. Utilizing quantitative methods, a survey scale was administered to 254 randomly selected employees from a population of 705 in PT X Tbk. Surabaya. The analysis revealed a significant negative correlation (r = -0.263**, p < 0.005) between work conflict and employee discipline. These findings indicate that work conflict acts as a detrimental factor influencing the discipline of employees. The implications suggest that addressing work conflict is crucial for fostering a disciplined work environment, ultimately contributing to organizational success. Highlights: Work conflict negatively affects employee discipline: The study demonstrates a significant negative correlation between work conflict and employee discipline, emphasizing the detrimental impact of work conflict on maintaining a disciplined workforce. Quantitative methods for measuring work conflict and employee discipline: The research employed quantitative methods, specifically a survey scale, to collect and analyze data, providing a structured and objective approach to investigate the relationship between work conflict and employee discipline. Implications for organizational success: The findings highlight the importance of addressing work conflict to foster a disciplined work environment. By mitigating work conflict, organizations can enhance employee discipline, thereby increasing their chances of achieving desired organizational goals. Abstract. Students who are echoed in organizations have a series of task loads between academic assignments and organizational tasks. This research aims to find out the relationship between self-efficacy and academic procrastination during online learning on students who are members of the IMM organization. The hypothesis proposed in this study is that there is a negative relationship between self-efficacy and academic procrastination during online lectures on students who are members of the IMM organization. This study is a correlational quantitative study with 221 samples of students who are members of the IMM organization at . The measuring instruments used in the study used a scale of self-efficacy and a scale of academic procrastination. The data analysis used is the Pearson Product Moment correlation test. The results of the hypothesis test showed that there was a negative relationship between self-efficacy and academic procrastination during online lectures in students belonging to the IMM organization, with the results of correlation coefficient values showing r = -0.404 and values p = 0.000 < 0.01. In analysis specifically shows that it turns out that the highest aspect of correlation among other aspects is the level aspect (self-efficacy) with aspects of the time gap between plans and actual performance (academic procrastination) (r = -0.442 sig, 0.000<0.001). This shows that the more a person has confidence that he is able to complete various levels of tasks, then this will have an impact on increasing the ability to actualize plans in real form during online development. Abstrak. Mahasiswa yang tergabaung dalam organisasi memiliki beban tugas antara tugas akademik dan tugas organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan efikasi diri dengan prokrastinasi akademik saat perkuliahan daring pada mahasiswa yang mengikuti organisasi Ikatan Mahasiswa Muhammadiyah (IMM). Hipotesis penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan negatif antara efikasi diri dengan prokrastinasi akademik saat perkuliahan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif korelasional dengan 221 sampel mahasiswa. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan skala efikasi diri dan skala prokrastinasi akademik. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah Uji korelasi Pearson Product Moment. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan terdapat hubungan negatif antara efikasi diri dengan prokrastinasi akademik saat perkuliahan daring pada mahasiswa yang tergabung dalam organisasi IMM, dengan hasil nilai koefisien korelasi menunjukkan r = -0,404 dan nilai p= 0,000 < 0,01. Aspek yang paling tinggi korelasinya adalah aspek tingkat level (efikasi diri) dengan aspek kesenjangan waktu antar rencana dan kinerja aktual (prokrastinasi akademik) (r = -0,442 sig, 0,000<0,001). Hal ini menunjukkan semakin seseorang memiliki keyakinan bahwa ia mampu menyelesaikan berbagai tingkatan tugas, maka hal ini akan berdampak pada peningkatan kemampuan dalam mengaktualisasikan rencana dalam bentuk nyata pada masa perkulihan daring.

Not only cognitive knowledge, but also modern 21st-century instructional practices employed by primary school teachers are crucial for equipping students with a well-rounded education. But also to prepare students with the motivation, knowledge, and skills in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) required for the digital age workforce. This study aims to determine the efficacy of STEM instructional practice training in enhancing primary school teachers' general pedagogical knowledge and self-efficacy. Forty-six primary school teachers from Sidoarjo, East Java, participated in the study. The experimental group (n=23) and the control group (n=23) comprised a total of 46 individuals. In the experimental group, participants received instruction in STEM-based mathematics learning planning. A questionnaire is used to assess teachers' general pedagogical knowledge and self-efficacy in STEM instructional practice before and after training. The study on teachers' general pedagogical knowledge revealed that, after training, the experimental group achieved better results than the control group. In the experimental group, the average score for the instructional process aspect increased to 9.5 points. The average value of the learning process aspect has increased by 15,5 points, while the average value of the assessment aspect has increased by 5,5 points. After receiving training, teachers in the experimental group demonstrated greater self-efficacy than their counterparts in the control group. The findings can be utilized by primary school teachers to enhance their STEM-related general pedagogical knowledge and self-efficacy.

Abstract: Social Well-Being, Group Cohesiveness, And Sense Of Adolescent Community At Orphanage. This study aims to determine the effect of social well-being and group cohesiveness on the sense of community in adolescents at the 'Aisyiyah Orphanage Sidoarjo. This research uses correlational quantitative method. The subjects in this study were teenagers who were in the 'Aisyiyah Orphanage Sidoarjo, totaling 73 children. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. Research data were collected using a social well-being scale referring to Keyes' theory with Cronbach's alpha reliability = 0.840, group cohesiveness scale referring to Forsyth's theory with Cronbach's alpha reliability = 0.882 and sense of community scale based on McMillan and Chavis' theory with Cronbach's alpha reliability = 0.851 . Analysis of research data using product moment correlation analysis techniques and multiple regression analysis. The results showed that social well-being and group cohesiveness each had a significant relationship with the sense of community among adolescents in orphanages. As for the two, the results of the analysis show that the relationship between group cohesiveness is stronger when compared to social well being with a sense of community. Together, social well-being and group cohesiveness have a significant influence on the sense of community, with a large effect of 20.5%.

This research aimed to determine the causes of truancy in high school students and to understand the psychological dynamics of high school students were absent. To achieve the goal of these studies used the framework of the research question consists of 5 questions, among others: 1). What the causes of truancy in junior high school student, 2). How do parents in implementing parenting at home, 3). How do teachers in delivering the course material; 4) What is the influence of the peer group does truancy; 5). How psychological dynamics junior high school students who were truancy. Qualitative research method used is the case study that examines a single case, with one person subject to the criteria of the study subjects were teenagers who were educated at the Junior High School, was truant more than school provision, 12 - 14 years , male sex and living in Yogyakarta. This study took place in the one of junior high school in Yogyakarta. Data taken using in-depth interviews to subjects and informants, participant observation and field notes. From the analysis carried out it was found that the causes of truant behavior of the subject is 1) The influence of peers, 2) Personal subject it self; 3) Factors parenting from his parents; 4) Threatening and worried environment, 5) the school environment factors. And comorbid psychological dynamics truant behavior consists of three conditions, pre conditions (will do skipping school), while truant and after truant. In addition it also found participation behavior after truant period, the positive behavior in the form of the emergence of a sense of responsibility will backwardness lessons and negative behaviors such as lying to teachers and parents about causes of truant behavior.

ABSTRACTMount Semeru is an active volcano in Java island. Its eruption in 2021 has a wide impact on the lives of surrounding community, including the people of Sumberwuluh village which is located on the path of eruption. It causes them lose their properties and gets psychological impact such as excessive form of worry and fear. This community service aims to overcome the eruption disaster through psychoreligious activity. It is hoped to overcome the psychological impact of its eruption in 2021. The participants are the students of SMP, SMA, and Karangtaruna youth. The method of this community service includes planning and implementation. Planning stage includes situation analysis and analysis of partner needs. The implementation stage includes counseling, psychosocial with psychoreligious model. This activity can improve the well being viewed from the increase after giving psychoreligion. The students’ anxiety decreases from level 9 to level 2 of the total average level of anxiety felt by students which means that it is effective to reduce the anxiety due to the Mount Semeru eruption in 2021. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi perencanaan yaitu analisa situasi dan analisa kebutuhan mitra, sedangkan pelaksanaan meliputi penyuluhan, psikososial dg model Psikoreligi. Kegiatan abdimas psikoreligi pada pelajar di desa sumeberwuluh dapat meningkatkan well being (kesejahteraan) yang dilihat dari peningkatan well being sebelum dan sesudah pemberian psikoreligi, kecemasan pelajar menurun dari tingkat 9 ke tingkat 2 dari total rata-rata tingkat kecemasan yang dirasakan pelajar yang bermakna psikoreligi efektif dalam mengurangi kecemasan yang dirasakan pelajar akibat erupsi Gunung Semeru Tahun 2021 Kata Kunci: erupsi, psikososial, welbeing

Motivasi belajar merupakan faktor penting dalam kegiatan belajar karena dapat mendorong siswa untuk teribat dalam kegiatan belajar. Salah satu faktor yang dianggap penting dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar yaitu adanya goal setting. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan goal setting terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa SMK Yapalis Krian Sidoarjo. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 68 siswa terbagi menjadi 2 kelompok treat berjumlah 34 siswa dan kelompok control 34 siswa. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode non-randomized control trial dengan desain yang digunakan pretest & posttest control group design. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan skala adaptasi MSLQ (Motivated Strategies for Learning Questonnaire) dengan reabilitas sebesar 0.922. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan Uji analisis Independet sample T-Tets dan Paired sample T-Test dengan menggunakan program JASP 0.16. Hasil penelitian ini menunjuukan terdapat perbedaan tingkat motivasi belajar siswa antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol sebelum dan sesudah diberikan pelatihan goal setting.

This research is motivated by a decrease in academic self-efficacy possessed by students. The purpose of this study was to find out and provide an explanation of the description of academic self-efficacy in high school students "X" Sidoarjo. This research method is descriptive and quantitative with number of subjects as many as 167 students. Determination of subjects using proportionate stratified random sampling technique, namely taking samples from members of the population randomly and proportionally stratified. The variable in this study is academic self-efficacy. Data collection in this study used a psychological preparation scale, namely the Likert scale for academic self-efficacy variables. Analysis of the data in this study using SPSS 26.0 for Windows and Excel. The results of data analysis showed that the academic self-efficacy of SMA "X" Sidoarjo students was in the medium category with a percentage of 75%, a small portion of academic self-efficacy was low with a percentage of 12% and a small portion also had high academic self-efficacy with a percentage of 12%.
