Abstract

The transformation of microteaching using digital Islamic picture story media, “The Joy of Being Able to Give Alms” was proven effective in increasing student learning activity and instilling character education through stories about characters students know. This study uses a qualitative approach, conducted as a case study on microteaching activities for prospective elementary school teachers in Indonesia. The participants were selected using purposive sampling, which involved interviews, observations, and documentation. The implementation of this microteaching activity used subjects limited to eleven participants, including a) six elementary school students,  b) two students of the Faculty of Islamic Studies, University of Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo, c) three validators who were experts in the field of Islamic education and experts in innovative learning media. All data collected was limited to the opinions and experiences of participants. The activities showed that the pedagogical and professional teachers applied 1) meaningful learning, 2) educational interaction, 3) innovative and fun learning, 4) student-centered learning, and 5) instilling Islamic values. The use of digital Islamic picture story media has been proven effective in student learning and instilling character education through stories of characters that students are interested in.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran penting literasi moral dalam lembaga yang bernuasa Islam memiliki kurikulum lokal  yaitu ke- Aisyiyahan dan Ke- Muhammadiyahan, serta mengembangkan pembiasaan sholat dhuha dengan tertib dan lancar dalam bacaannya, dan rajin bersedekah melatih rasa empati pada usia dini. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini ialah peserta didik TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 5  yang terdiri atas 17. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan observasi. Data hasil penelitian dianalsis menggunakan teknik analisis data deskriptif.  Berdasarkan penelitian dan perhitungan diperoleh peningkatan dari angka  34 %  menjadi 66%  pada kriteria pengembangaan karakter sudah sholat dengan tertib dan lancar, sedangkan pada jum’at sedekah dari 34 % menjadi 66%  yang mencerminkan perilaku atau akhlak, budi pekerti , karakter religius juga signifikan karena sesuai target jumlah nominal yang diharapkan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan yakni (1) mengembangkan e-comic strip PAI sebagai upaya membiasakan pola pola hidup sehat islami di era COVID-19. (2) Menelaah tentang kevalidan, kepraktisan, serta keefektifan daripada e-comic strip PAI. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian   pengembangan (R&D / Research and Development). Penelitian ini mengambil teori yang dikemukakan Borg dan Gall dengan menggunakan 9 langkah dalam penelitian. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik Probability sampling.  Sampel dalam penelitian ini yakni 20 peserta didik kelas 3 MI Darussalam Keboguyang. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket. Teknik yang diaplikasikan dalam penelitian kali ini yakni memakai teknik one sample t test. Hasil dari penelitian ini yakni (1) Penelitian pengembangan ini membuahkan produk berupa e-comic strip mata pelajaran PAI pada materi thaharah. (2) Nilai kevalidan yang diperoleh dari e-comic strip PAI sebesar 84 dan 83 serta dinyatakan layak. Nilai kepraktisan yang diperoleh dari e-comic strip PAI sebesar 86%. Produk ini dinyatakan efektif dengan ditandai adanya perbedaan nilai rata – rata hasil belajar peserta didik antara sebelum menggunakan e-comic strip PAI yakni sebesar 67,35 dengan sesudah menggunakan e-comic strip PAI sebesar 87,45. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa e-comic strip PAI sangat layak, praktis, dan efektif untuk digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan e-comic fiqih sebagai media pembelajaran peserta didik dalam memahami tentang tata cara berwudhu dengan baik dan benar sesuai ajaran islam. Adapun jumlah responden 20 siswa kelas V Mi Ma’arif Ngering menggunakan teknik pengambilan data hasil observasi dan kuesioner. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis kuantitatif regresi dengan perhitungan software SPSS yang mampu memproses data statistik secara cepat dan akurat. Berdasarkan hasil yang diteliti dapat disimpulkan nilai rata-rata pembelajaran dengan menggunakan e-comic dan non-ecomic tingkat variabel independent sebesar 99.00 yang lebih tinggi dari variabel dependent dengan nilai sebesar 80.15.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku teks teologi / aqidah Islam untuk siswa sekolah menengah berbasis strategi Reading, Encoding, Annotating, Pondering disingkat REAP . Dengan adanya pengembangan buku ajar ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa sekolah menengah dalam menghadapi tantangan ideologis di zaman modern ini, sehingga dibutuhkan pengembangkan buku ajar yang dapat membantu proses pembelajaran Aqidah menggunakan strategi REAP. Penelitian pengembangan atau R&D (Research & Development) ini menggunakan model Plomp, yang terdiri dari tiga tahap yaitu tahap penyelidikan awal, tahap prototipe, dan tahap penilaian. Berdasarkan hasil validasi buku ajar Akidah berbasis strategi REAP pada bab "Wujud dan Keesaan Allah" rata-rata seluruh aspek sebesar 88,4% yang berarti buku teks “sangat layak”. Berdasarkan uji coba skala besar diperoleh nilai rata-rata siswa sebesar 82,9 yang menunjukkan bahwa aqidah berbasis strategi REAP dapat dilaksanakan dengan efektif.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to analyze the teacher recruitment policies of state-salaried teachers in Indonesia and Malaysia, focusing on regulations, selection processes, distribution of placements, and pre-service training systems. Method: The study employs a literature review method with a descriptive-qualitative and comparative approach, analyzing policy documents, academic journals, and official sources from the period 2018–2024. Results: The analysis reveals that Indonesia implements a decentralised recruitment system through the CPNS and PPPK mechanisms, but still faces challenges regarding central-local synchronisation and teacher distribution. Meanwhile, Malaysia adopts a centralized approach with strict selection criteria and an integrated teacher education system. Novelty: In conclusion, Malaysia’s system is more structured, while Indonesia requires strengthened coordination and reform of recruitment management based on regional needs.

Abstract

General Background: Religious character education at the elementary level plays a vital role in shaping students' moral and spiritual foundations. Specific Background: In the context of Islamic education, congregational Dhuha prayer has the potential to foster religious awareness and discipline among young learners. Knowledge Gap: However, empirical studies focusing on the implementation and impact of Dhuha prayer in elementary schools remain limited. Aims: This study aims to examine the effectiveness of congregational Dhuha prayers as a strategy to improve the religious character of elementary school students. Results: Using a qualitative descriptive approach through non-systematic observation and interviews, the findings reveal that students who regularly participate in Dhuha prayer demonstrate enhanced devotion to worship, increased spiritual awareness, improved discipline, greater responsibility, and growing confidence in religious practices. Novelty: This research highlights the practical application of routine Dhuha prayer as a character-building tool within Islamic education, particularly by empowering students to lead as prayer imams. Implications: The study underscores the importance of integrating structured religious practices into daily school routines and positions religious education teachers as pivotal facilitators in nurturing students’ religiosity and moral development from an early age. Abstract

His study aims to analyze entrepreneurship learning through Kids' Market Day activities for elementary school students in Sidoarjo Regency. This study employs a descriptive qualitative research method, focusing on the analysis of entrepreneurship learning through Kids' Market Day activities for students at Muhammadiyah 1 Elementary School in Sidoarjo. The sources of information in this study included the principal, curriculum head, teachers, students, and parents. Data collection techniques used interviews, observations, and documentation. Data reduction is a data analysis technique used in this study. Data presentation involves describing the results of field research. Data presentation is done through several stages, namely: (1) recording all data findings in the form of field notes, based on the results of interviews, observations, and documentation that have been carried out; (2) reduction and review of relevant interview, observation, and documentation data; (3) classification of relevant research data; and (4) analysis of research report results by triangulating research data. The results of the study indicate that the Kids Market Day activities implemented at Muhammadiyah 1 Elementary School in Sidoarjo have a significant impact on the development of students' entrepreneurial character from an early age, including self-confidence, responsibility, the courage to take risks, and the ability to manage finances. The implications of this research's findings for education and school policy include strengthening project-based curricula and fostering student character through Kids Market Day activities, which foster entrepreneurial values.

Abstract

General background: Islamic religious education in Indonesia has often relied on teacher-centered and traditional methods, which limit student engagement. Specific background: Such approaches tend to cause boredom, passivity, and limited learning outcomes among Madrasah Ibtidaiyah students. Knowledge gap: Few systematic studies have comprehensively reviewed the implementation of innovative strategies, particularly Discovery Learning, within Islamic elementary education. Aims: This article systematically reviews recent studies (2021–2023) to examine how Discovery Learning enhances the effectiveness of Islamic education. Results: The findings reveal that Discovery Learning shifts learning from passive to active, fosters critical thinking, increases motivation, and improves cognitive, affective, and psychomotor outcomes. Novelty: Unlike prior works focusing only on teacher performance, this study highlights the dual role of teachers as facilitators and students as active knowledge seekers within Islamic education. Implications: The study underscores the necessity for educators to adopt Discovery Learning as a transformative pedagogical method, ensuring Islamic education is more participatory, meaningful, and aligned with contemporary learning needs. Abstract

This study aims to solve problems in the tahfidz class where the hope is that through this verse connection method it can provide a solution to the decline in learning outcomes and students' boredom with traditional methods that have often been practiced so that interest and learning outcomes tahfidz originally decreased to increase, boredom and the absence of students in teaching and learning activities are often a problem in learning, especially tahfidz al qur'an, therefore this research was conducted to provide solutions to the above problems and improve learning outcomes tahfidz al quran, the method used in this research is class action, namely research that directly involves to solve problems that occur in learning, the results of the data obtained average value In the pre-action period 84.11 with a passing percentage of 36%, in cycle 1 the average score of students rose to 68.88 with a passing percentage of 44%, in cycle 2 the average value the average of students rose to 76,89 with a passing percentage of 60,5%, cycle 3 produced an average score of 82,61 with a passing percentage that exceeded the target of 77%. Thus the hybrid learning-based verse connecting method can solve students' boredom and absence problems and improve student learning outcomes in tahfidz learning found in tahfidz class level 3B Mi Baiturrahman, Surabaya
