Abstract

General Background: Early childhood education plays a critical role in shaping spiritual, moral, and cognitive development, particularly in Islamic contexts where tahfidz (Qur’an memorization) is foundational. Specific Background: KB-TK Al Muhajirin Islamic School seeks to integrate digital systems into tahfidz learning to address challenges of modern education, parental monitoring, and the need for innovative learning strategies. Knowledge Gap: Existing practices often rely on conventional methods, limiting access to real-time progress tracking and reducing engagement in digital-era learning. Aims: This study describes the school’s development plan to implement digital tahfidz-based learning, focusing on infrastructure, teacher training, program evaluation, and alignment with the school’s vision of forming Rabbani and Qurani generations. Results: The plan outlines structured steps for system implementation, review, real-time parental involvement, and continuous evaluation, facilitating more effective learning experiences. Novelty: The integration of a digital information system into early childhood tahfidz education is a pioneering approach in the local Muhammadiyah educational context. Implications: This model offers a scalable framework for other Islamic educational institutions aiming to modernize tahfidz learning while maintaining moral and spiritual objectives. Abstract

This research includes the type of research development that aims to produce products using the Dick and Carey model. The product of Arabic pictorial story media enhance religious students at SD Muhammadiyah I, Lab school Umsida. Data analysis in the form of qualitative and quantitative descriptive questionnaires from technology experts and subject matter experts, as well as comments from students for revision. The arabic pictorial story media enhance religious students were carried out in the form of pre-test and post-test on 32 students with several moral subjects. The pre-test post-test results showed the Sig (2- tailed) value was 0,000 < 0.05, which means that there were differences in learning outcomes between before and then using Arabic pictorial story media. The results of Arabic pictorial story media enhance religious students effective improving has a support level of 89.94% for increasing the involvement religious characters in school.

Abstract

General Background: Public relations management is essential in improving institutional image and community trust in non-formal education. Specific Background: PKBM Permata Sunnah Sidoarjo implements Islamic-based education but lacks structured public relations management to communicate its achievements. Knowledge Gap: Few studies address how PR strategies influence the visibility and sustainability of Islamic community learning centers. Aims: This research aims to formulate a school development plan based on public relations strategies at PKBM Permata Sunnah. Results: The study found that the institution has strong academic and religious programs but limited promotion and coordination, leading to low public awareness. The SWOT analysis indicates strengths in curriculum and teacher competence, but weaknesses in communication and media utilization. Novelty: The research integrates PR strategy with Islamic educational management to propose a comprehensive model for visibility improvement and institutional growth. Implications: Establishing a dedicated PR division, training communication staff, and using digital media are crucial steps for enhancing the institution’s public image and sustainability. Highlights: PR strategy is key to institutional branding. Curriculum quality must align with outreach efforts. Digital communication supports educational sustainability.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the number of children and even teenagers whose ability to read the Quran is still low. There are several factors that influence one of them, namely because of the many types of methods for learning the Quran. With the rapid development of science, especially in the field of education, many practical methods for learning to read the Quran, one of which is the At-Tartil Method. This At-Tartil method is the right choice for anyone who wants to learn the Quran. This study aims to determine how the application of the At-Tartil Method to improve the ability to read the Quran. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that: First, learning using the At-Tartil Method is carried out in two times, namely afternoon and evening. Second, there are 3 assessment systems using the At-Tartil Method, namely daily assessment, level assessment / volume increase, and munaqosyah. Third, there are several supporting factors and inhibiting factors in the application of the At-Tartil Method.

Abstract

A great nation is characterized by a literate and highly civilized society. The Indonesian nation as a large nation must be able to develop a literacy culture as a prerequisite for 21st century life skills. Liqo; as one of the habituation programs at SD Plus Muhammadiya Brawijaya is expected to be able to develop a school literacy culture. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the liqo' program management system at SD Plus Muhammadiya Brawijaya to improve school literacy. The research method used is descriptive qualitative in the field of management science. The results showed that the management of the liqo' program at SD Plus Muhammadiyah Brawijaya, Mojokerto City was implemented by implementing four management steps, namely Planning, Organizing, Actuating and Evaluation, then applied through the stages of habituation, development and evaluation. teaching. Innovation from the implementation of the liqo' program accompanied by well-organized implementation management is very helpful in improving school literacy culture. The benefits of this research are expected to be a source or reference in the development of the School Literacy program.

Abstract

The child-friendly schools through the Hizbul Wathan movement in SD Muhammadiyah Candi 1 Sidoarjo aims to the leadership character is healthy, knowledgeable and moral. Technique collection data use the method of observation, interviews, and documentation supported by triangulation of sources and strategies. The implementation of Hizbul Wathan movement is divided into 5 stages, including: (a) the planning stage, (b) the organizing stage, (c) the implementation phase, (d) the monitoring and evaluation, and (e) the follow-up. The results that inculcation of leadership character integrated into the values of Al Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan was able to teach the values, rules, norms in every life in society.

Abstract

At the end of May 2020, Nadiem Anwar Makarim, the Minister of Education issued a circular letter Number 4 of 2020, regarding the implementation of education policies during the Coronavirus Disease (Covid-19) emergency. In its application, many PPDB management activities must be able to adapt to the rules of the Indonesian government, therefore school management makes steps & policies related to PPDB related to planning, implementation, control so that they can get success. PPDB activities are an implementation process that is indispensable as process stability in the education sector. The Management function in its stages includes Planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising. The idea of management was put forward by Joseph Juran. There is a need for good quality planning and is known as Strategic Quality Management, namely the quality improvement process. Juran's concept is called the Juran Trilogy (1989) which states that quality management consists of three main parts, namely: (a) quality planning, (b) quality control, and (c) quality improvement. The purpose of this study was to obtain an overview of the management of new student admissions at the high school level during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research model, with data collection techniques namely observation, interviews, documentation, and data triangulation. Based on the results of research conducted in SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Sidoarjo (SMAMDA), the researchers got the results of research that the implementation of acceptance of new students at SMAMDA went through several stages of selection that must be followed by prospective SMAMDA students, namely: Computer Based Test, Determination of Academic Values, Interviews and Urine test for all registration lines. Furthermore, the UPT PPDB will announce the results of the exam on the PPDB website for SMAMDA.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan bagaimana nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam tentang responsif gender diterapkan di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI). Penelitian ini termasuk field research atau penelitian lapangan, dengan menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui pendekatan fenomenologis dengan waktu tempuh empat bulan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki bagaimana guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dan siswa mereka menerapkan nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam yang berkaitan dengan responsif gender di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prinsip responsif gender dalam pendidikan agama Islam telah diterapkan pada aktivitas di sekolah. Kegiatan ini masih sederhana karena sekolah hanya melakukan kegiatan tambahan. Faktor internal dan eksternal mendukung pelaksanaan pendidikan agama Islam berbasis responsif gender. Faktor internal termasuk kepala sekolah, guru, kurikulum, dan materi pelajaran khusus gender, dan faktor eksternal termasuk orang tua dan lingkungan sekolah. Penanaman nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam tentang gender dilakukan dengan memberikan pelatihan dan pendalaman materi pendidikan Islam tentang pemahaman gender, dan membentuk lembaga khusus untuk mengawasi perilaku guru yang melakukan diskriminasi terhadap gender tertentu merupakan solusi yang diambil oleh sekolah untuk mengatasi tantangan untuk menerapkan nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam berbasis responsif gender.

Abstract

General Background: Religious character education at the elementary level plays a vital role in shaping students' moral and spiritual foundations. Specific Background: In the context of Islamic education, congregational Dhuha prayer has the potential to foster religious awareness and discipline among young learners. Knowledge Gap: However, empirical studies focusing on the implementation and impact of Dhuha prayer in elementary schools remain limited. Aims: This study aims to examine the effectiveness of congregational Dhuha prayers as a strategy to improve the religious character of elementary school students. Results: Using a qualitative descriptive approach through non-systematic observation and interviews, the findings reveal that students who regularly participate in Dhuha prayer demonstrate enhanced devotion to worship, increased spiritual awareness, improved discipline, greater responsibility, and growing confidence in religious practices. Novelty: This research highlights the practical application of routine Dhuha prayer as a character-building tool within Islamic education, particularly by empowering students to lead as prayer imams. Implications: The study underscores the importance of integrating structured religious practices into daily school routines and positions religious education teachers as pivotal facilitators in nurturing students’ religiosity and moral development from an early age.
