Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan strategi Question Student Have berbantuan media animasi pada materi pemantulan cahaya di kelas VIII MTS Ar-Rahaudatul Islamiyah Peniti Luar. Ada 27 siswa yang dilibatkan dalam penelitian tindakan kelas ini. Berdasarkan analisis data disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan strategi Question Student Have berbantuan media animasi dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi pemantulan cahaya. Sebelum dilaksanakan penelitian rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yang mencapai KKM (Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal) sebesar 65,5. Jumlah siswa yang mencapai KKM sebanyak 10 orang dengan persentase sebesar 36,7%. Setelah diberikan tindakan I, rata-rata hasil belajar sebesar  66,67. Jumlah siswa yang mencapai KKM sebanyak 17 orang dengan persentase sebesar 63%. Persentase siswa yang mencapai KKM meningkat sebesar 26,3%. Setelah diberikan tindakan II, rata-rata  hasil belajar sebesar 73,3. Jumlah siswa yang mencapai KKM sebesar 21 orang dengan persentase sebesar 77,8%. Persentase siswa yang mencapai KKM meningkat sebesar 14,8%. Kata kunci : Hasil belajar, QSH, animasi Abstract : This research aims to improve student learning outcomes using  Question Student Have strategy with animation media on light reflection in class VIII of MTS Al-Islamiya Rahaudatul Peniti Luar. There are 27 students involved in the study of this classroom action research. Based on data analysis concluded that the used of Question Student Have strategies with animation media can improve student learning outcomes in light reflection. Before the research was conducted, the average of student learning outcomes reached KKM (Criteria Complete Minimal) of 65.5. The number of students who reached KKM were 10 people with a percentage of 36.7%. After being given the action I, the average result of learning was 66.67. The number of students who reached KKM were 17 people with a percentage of 63%. The percentage of students who reached KKM increased by 26.3%. After being given a second action, the average learning outcomes was 73.3. The number of students who reached KKM for 21 people with a percentage of 77.8%. Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to determine the effectiveness of the application of the instructional model of relating, experiencing, applying, cooperating, transferring (REACT) in remediating students with misconceptions in dynamic fluid material in State Senior High School 1 Sungai Raya. This research uses pre-experimental design with the design of one group pretest-posttest. The samples were students of class XI IPA 3 with total of 27 students chosen by means of intact group. The data collection instrument uses a multiple choice diagnostic test with open reason. The results of the study show that the average percentage of students' misconception was 80.74% at the pre-test. There was a decrease in the number of students with misconceptions after remediation using the REACT learning model with an average percentage of 46.81%. Students' conceptions changed significantly (  = 29.03; df = 1; α = 5%) after being given remediation learning. The effectiveness of remediation is indicated by the value of decline in the number of students with misconceptions of each indicator with an average of 0.47, so according to the principle the phalanx effectiveness it is moderate (0.31 <ΔS <0.70). This research is expected to be used as an alternative to remedy students’ misconceptions, especially in physics. Keywords: Remediation, Misconception, REACT Model, Dynamic Fluids Material

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat efektivitas penggunaan model learning cycle 5E berbantuan LKS concept cartoons dalam meremediasi miskonsepsi siswa kelas X MIA SMA Negeri 6 Pontianak pada materi cermin datar. Metode yang digunakan berupaPre Experimental Design dengan rancangan one group pretest-postest design. Instrumen dalam pengumpulan data berbentuk pilihan ganda bertingkat dua atau Two Tier Multiple Choice (TTMC) yang diujikan pada 34 orang siswa yang dipilih secara intact group. Hasil analisis data didapat penurunan rata-rata miskonsepsi siswa sebesar 22,61%. Hasil uji McNemar diperoleh rata-rata χ2Hitung (5,55) ˃ χ2Tabel (3,84) untuk db = 1 dan α = 5% maka secara keseluruhan terjadi perubahan konseptual yang signifikan dan harga effect size diperoleh nilai 0,36 (kategori sedang). Maka remediasi menggunakan model learning cycle 5E berbantuan LKS concept cartoons efektif untuk menurunkan jumlah miskonsepsi siswa. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif melaksanakan remediasi miskonsepsi siswa tentang pembentukan bayangan pada cermin datar. The method used is Pre Experimental Design to design one group pretest - posttest design. Instruments in data collection shaped Two Tier Multiple Choice (TTMC) were tested on 34 students selected at intact group. Results of data analysis obtained an average decline of 22.61 % misconceptions students. McNemar test results obtained χ2average count (5,55) ˃ χ2Tabel (3,84) for db=1 and ∝=5%, overall significant conceptual changes and the value of the effect size obtained values ​​of 0.36 (medium category). Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penurunan jumlah siswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi dalam membaca grafik pada materi gerak lurus setelah diremediasi dengan Physics Education Technology (PhET). Bentuk penelitian berupa pre-experimental design dengan rancangan One Group Pretest-Postest. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 30 siswa kelas X yang dipilih dengan cara Sampling Purposive. Alat Pengumpul data berupa tes diagnostik berjumlah 9 soal dengan 3 alternatif pilihan ganda disertai alasan terbuka. Skor validitas dan reliabilitas yaitu 4 (= tinggi) dan 0,52 (= sedang). Berdasarkan hasil analisis data untuk seluruh konsep terjadi penurunan jumlah siswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi sebesar 52,22% dengan signifikansi penurunan berdasarkan uji McNemar yaitu (10,675) > (3,84) sehingga dapat dikatakan terjadi penurunan yang signifikan antara jumlah siswa yang miskonsepsi sebelum dan sesudah diremediasi. PhET efektif dalam meremediasi dengan nilai sebesar 0,673 (= sedang). Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat dijadikan alternatif oleh guru untuk meremediasi miskonsepsi yang dialami siswa. Kata Kunci: Remediasi, PhET, Grafik, Gerak Lurus Abstract: The aim of this research is to acquire the number of student’s misconception about reading graph on straight motion after remediation with Physics Education Technology (PhET). The design of research is pre-experimental with one group pretest-postest. The subject consists of 30 students at X grade that chosen by the sampling purposive method. The Instrument consists 9 of diagnostic test with 3 multiple choice and open reasoning. The scores of validity and reliability of the test is 4 (high) and 0.52 (medium). The result shows the number of student’s misconception is 52.22% with significance of decrease by McNemar test is (10,675) > (3,84) so that it can be conclude the decrease the number of student’s misconception before and after remediation is significant. The effectiveness of remediation using PhET is 0.673 (medium). This research is expected to be an alternative for teachers to remediate about students misconception. Abstract

AbstractIn this study, the effect of conceptual change text (CCT) with PhET simulation to remediate students? misconceptions of fluid dynamic at SMA was investigated. Quasi-experimental with non-equivalent control group design was used which involved 62 eleventh grade students. This study was made of into two groups. Experimental group (N=29) were given CCT with PhET simulation, whereas the control group (N=33) were given re-test. Nine open-ended multiple-choice questions concerning fluid dynamic were used as data collection tool. The results showed experimental group?s average of decreasing students? misconceptions (59,58%) were higher than control group (15,57%), and caused differences between both of groups that were proved by two-sample proportions test, Zscore (2,08) > Ztable (1,96). In the other hand, decreasing quantity of that misconception (DQM) value showed CCT with PhET simulation more effective than re-test to remediate students? misconceptions about fluid dynamic. Abstract

AbstractThis study was conducted to determine the effectiveness of Children Learning In Science (CLIS) model using PhET simulation to reduce students misconception on hydrostatic pressure in SMPN 7 Pontianak.  This study was quasi  pre-experimental design with one group pre-test post-test design. The population of this study was ninth grade  students in SMPN 7 Pontianak. Intact group random sampling was used that involving IX F. the average decrease of student misconceptions were 38,03% with significant conceptual change by Mc Nemar test ( ). There was significant conceptual change after remediation by apply CLIS model using PhET simulation to reduce students misconception on hydrostatic pressure. Result reveal that the effectiveness level was 0,67 (medium). This research is expected to be used as an alternative remediation activities to reduce misconception in learning process and improve student’s learning outcomes.   Keywords: Misconception, CLIS, PhET, Hydrostatic Pressure

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan Macromedia Flash berbantuan Spreadsheet untuk meremediasi miskonsepsi siswa pada materi tekanan zat cair di kelas IX B SMP Negeri 8 Pontianak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre-experimental design dengan rancangan one group pre-test post-test design. Alat pengumpul data berupa tes berbentuk pilihan ganda alasan tertutup berjumlah 15 soal. Hasil tes diukur menggunakan Certainty of Response Index (CRI). Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 32 orang dipilih dengan teknik intact group. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, profil miskonsepsi menunjukkan rata-rata persentase bentuk miskonsepsi yang dialami siswa dari semua konsep sebesar 9.48% pada pre-test dan 0.78% pada post-test. Terjadi perubahan konseptual secara signifikan pada 12 soal atau 3 konsep dengan menggunakan uji McNemar dengan , χ2tabel = 3,81, dk = 1. Efektivitas remediasi menunjukkan effect size sebesar 1.2.   Kata kunci:    Remediasi, Miskonsepsi, Macromedia Flash, Spreadsheet, Tekanan zat cair Abstract: The purpose of this research was to known the effectiveness of using Macromedia Flash assisted Spreadsheet to remediate student’s misconception on liquid pressure in class IX B of SMP Negeri 8 Pontianak. The method of this research was pre-experimental with the design of one group pre-test post-test design. The data collector was closed reason multiple choices about 15. The test results were measured using Certainty of Response Index (CRI). The sample of the research was 32 students which were chosen by intact group. Based on the results, profile misconception shows the average percentage of students’ misconception of concepts was shown about 9.48 % of pre-test and 0.78 % of post-test. There was conceptual change about 12 questions or 3 concept significantly by using McNemar test, with , χ2table = 3,81, dk = 1. The effectiveness of remediation showed the effect size of 1.2. Abstract

Abstrak; Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materigerak lurus beraturan melaluimodel direct instruction berbantuan text transformation. Penelitian dilakukan sebanyak dua siklus di kelas VII SMPJasa Mulia Sungai Baru dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 37 siswa. Pengumpulan data berupa tes hasil belajar siswa dan lembar observasi pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Hasil tes penelitian menunjukkan nilai rata-rata kelas pada siklus I sebesar 71,35 dan siklus II sebesar 78,11. Ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa meningkat 10,8 % dari 78,38 % (29 siswa) pada siklus I menjadi 89,18 % (33 siswa) pada siklus II. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa model direct instruction berbantuan text transformation dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi gerak lurus beraturan. Penerapan model pembelajaran ini sebaiknya dirancang dengan persiapan alat peraga dan media pembelajaran sebaikmungkin agar pembelajaran lebih bervariatif dan efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Abstract; This classroom action research aims to improve student learning outcomes in uniform speed of matter through direct instruction models aided text transformation. The study was conducted by two cycles in class VII SMP Jasa Mulia Sungai Baru with the number of students as many as 37 students. The collection of data in the form of test results of the students' learning and observation sheets learning implementation. The test results of research showed the average value of the class in the first cycle of 71.35 and 78.11 for the second cycle. Mastery learning outcomes of students increased by 10.8% from 78.38% (29 students) in the first cycle to 89.18% (33 students) in the second cycle. Based on these results we can conclude that models of direct instruction aided text transformation can improve student learning outcomes in uniform speed of matter. Application of this model should be designed with the preparation of teaching aids and instructional media as possible so learning more varied and effective in improving student learning outcomes. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil dan motivasi belajar siswa pada materi fluida statis melalui model pembelajaran quantum teaching. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak dua siklus di kelas XI IPA 2 SMA Negeri 9 Pontianak yang berjumlah 31 siswa. Pengumpulan data berupa tes hasil belajar, angket motivasi belajar, dan lembar observasi pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dari siklus I ke siklus II  sebesar 3,22% dari 70,97% menjadi 74,19%, sedangkan peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 2,10% dari 75,40% menjadi 77,40 %. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran quantum teaching dapat meningkatkan hasil dan motivasi belajar siswa pada materi fluida statis. Penerapan model pembelajaran ini sebaiknya dirancang dengan persiapan media belajar sebaik mungkin demi ketertarikan siswa terhadap materi yang dipelajari. Kata Kunci :  Hasil Belajar, Motivasi, Quantum Teaching Abstract : This classroom action research aimed to improve students? outcomes and motivation in the static fluid material through quantum teaching model. This research was conducted in two cycles to the eleventh grade of natural science major 2 (XIIPA 2) of Public Senior High School 9 Pontianak with a total of 31 students. The data were collected through the learning outcome test, learning motivation questionnaire and learning observation sheet. The results indicated that there was an improvement in students? learning outcomes from the first to the second cycle by 3,22% from 70,97% to 74,19%, while the improvement in students? learning motivation from the first to the second cycle was 2,10% from 75,40% to 77,40%. Based on the research findings, it was concluded that the quantum teaching model could improve the students? learning outcomes and motivation particularly in the static fluid material. The application of this model should be designed with the best learning media preparation so as to increase students? interest in the material. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar dan aktivitas siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran SFE (Student Facilitator and Explaining) pada materi gas ideal di kelas XI IPA-1 SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Ambawang. Bentuk penelitian ini berupa penelitian tindakan kelas, terdiri dari dua siklus dengan tahapan perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 28 siswa. Alat pengumpul data berupa lembar observasi dan tes uraian. Hasil observasi menunjukkan aktivitas belajar siswa meningkat dari siklus I ke siklus II, yaitu aktivitas bertanya 14,29% menjadi 21,43%, menjawab pertanyaan 17,86% menjadi 21,43%, mengemukakan pendapat 28,57% menjadi 35,71% dan mencatat/meringkas materi 96,43% menjadi 100%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan rata-rata hasil belajar pada siklus I sebesar 36,39 dengan ketuntasan 78,57% dan pada siklus II sebesar 58,53 dengan ketuntasan 85,71%.   Kata Kunci: SFE, Hasil Belajar, Aktivitas Abstract: This research aimed to: find out the increase of learning outcomes and student  activities by applying the learning model of SFE (Student Facilitator and Explaining) on the ideal gas in the grade XI of Natural Science major of State Senior High School 1 Sungai Ambawang. This research was a classroom action research which consisted of two cycles with the the stages as follows: planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this research were 28 students. The data were collected through observations and description tests. The results of observations showed that the student learning activities increased from the first to the second cycle, i.e. in the form of asking questions from 14.29% to 21.43%, answering questions from 17.86% to 21.43%, expressing opinions from 28.57% to 35.71%, and taking note/summarizing the teaching material from 96.43% to 100%. The results of the research indicated an average improvement of learning outcomes in the first cycle by 36.39 with a completeness of 78.57%, and in the second cycle by 58.53 with a completeness of 85.71%.   Keywords: SFE, Learning Outcomes, Activities
