Abstract

AbstractThis research was aimed to investigate the effectiveness of CLIS learning model with Mind Map to remediate student’s misconception on ‘reflection of light’ for grade VIII students of MTsN 2 Pontianak. The method used in this research was pre-experimenal design with one group pre test Post-test design. The tool of data collection was reasonable mutiple choice test with three answer choices. The sample of this research was 37 students of VIII J class, the sample was chosen using Intact group technique. The average range of students misconception in pre test was 93.3% and in post test was 24%. The average range decreases 69.9% after the treatment. Technique of data analysis using McNemar test showed x2count (97.01) > x2table (3.84). There was conceptual changes significantly after the remediation using CLIS model learning with Mind Map in the material ‘reflection of light’. The effectiveness of remediation obtained from proportion average value where was 0.71 (high). Therefore, teachers suggested to used CLIS learning model as alternative learning technique in order to straighten out students misconception in the material ‘reflection of light’.Keywords: Misconception, CLIS, Mind Map, Reflection of Light

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui  bahwa remediasi dengan penerapan model pembelajaran Children Learning In Science (CLIS) berbantuan LKS concept cartoon efektif memperbaiki miskonsepsi siswa kelas VIII SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak pada materi hukum Archimedes. Sampel penelitian ini melibatkan 19 orang siswa kelas VIII C. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan berupa pre-experimental design dengan rancangan one group pre-test post-test design. Alat pengumpul data terdiri dari 9 soal yang mewakili 3 konsep hukum Archimedes. Berdasarkan analisis jawaban pre-test dan post-test, rata-rata penurunan jumlah siswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi sebelum dan sesudah remediasi untuk tiap konsep sebesar 64%. Rata-rata penurunan miskonsepsi tiap siswa sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan remediasi sebesar 57%. Harga efektivitas yang dihitung dengan rumus Cohen’s pada penelitian ini sebesar 1,63 dengan kategori tinggi. Remediasi dengan penerapan model pembelajaran CLIS berbantuan LKS concept cartoon efektif menurunkan  miskonsepsi yang dialami siswa, sehingga diharapkan dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif model pembelajaran dalam pembelajaran fisika.   Kata kunci: Remediasi, CLIS, Concept Cartoon, Archimedes Abstract: This research aims to find out that remedy using application of Children Learning in Science (CLIS) learning model assisted with concept cartoon worksheet is effective to correct misconception of VIII class students of SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak on Archimedes Law material. Research sample involves 19 students of class VIII C. Research design used is pre-experimental design with one group pre-test post-test design form. Collecting data tool consists of 9 questions which represent 3 Archimedes Law concept. According to the answer analysis of pre-test and post-test, the decline in number of students who have misconception before and after the remedy for each concept  is averagely 64%, the decline of each student’s misconception before and after the remedy is 57%. The remedy using application of CLIS learning model assisted with concept cartoon worksheet is effective to decline the misconception students have, so it is expected to become one of learning model alternative in learning physic. Abstract

Abstrak: Meremediasi miskonsepsi siswa menggunakan media lectora inspire tentang teori kinetik gas menjadi tujuan penelitian pre-experimental design rancangan one-group pretest-posttest design ini. Sembilan soal tes diagnostik berbentuk pilihan ganda yang mewakili tiga konsep fisika berkaitan dengan teori kinetik gas disusun menggunakan metode Certainty of Response Index (CRI) termodifikasi diberikan kepada sebelas sampel di kelas XII IPA 2 MAN 1 Pontianak. Ditemukan bahwa penerapan media lectora inspire dapat menurunkan jumlah miskonsepsi siswa (ES=2,67). Diharapkan media lectora inspire dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif kegiatan remediasi pada konsep-konsep fisika. Kata kunci : Remediasi, Kinetik Gas, Lectora Inspire Abstract: The one group pretest postest pre experimental design was conducted to remedy student?s misconception of the kinetic theory of efficent by implementing the lectora inspire program. A series of aims question of the modification Certainty of Response Index of three option multiple choice test was administered to prompt this misconception among  grade students of the goverment religious secondary school at Pontianak city. Eleven student participated in this study. Result indicated that the lectora inspire can be used to reduce the number of students misconception (ES=2,67). Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini menggali miskonsepsi siswa SD Negeri 24 Pontianak Tenggara tentang konsep-konsep cahaya. Partisipan dipilih dengan metode intact group. Sebanyak 56 siswa kelas V diberi tes diagnostik berbentuk CRI termodifikasi. Reliablitasnya ditetapkan dengan menggunakan formula KR-20 (r = 0,289). Ditemukan persentase rata-rata jumlah siswa yang miskonsepsi pada konsep-konsep cahaya sebesar 75,41%. Disarankan penelitian lanjutan untuk menggali miskonsepsi siswa dengan metode yang tepat.   Kata kunci: Konsep-konsep cahaya, miskonsepsi siswa Abstract: This study was to explore SDN 24 Southeast Pontianak students’ misconceptions in the concepts of light. Participants  were chosen by  the method of intact group. A total of 56 5th-grade students were given diagnostic test using modified  form  of CRI. Reliability’s was determined using a formula KR-20 (r = 0.289). It is found the average percentage of the quantity of students’ misconceptions in the concepts of light amounted to 75.41%. Abstract

Lesson Study ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas hasil dan proses perkuliahan Fisika Inti pada mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika Universitas Tanjungpura. Lesson Study merupakan suatu model untuk meningkatkan profesionalitas guru atau dosen dalam melaksanakan tugasnya melalui kegiatan pengkajian proses pembelajaran secara kolaboratif. Pelaksanaan Lesson Study memiliki tiga tahap yaitu : Plan (merencanakan kegiatan perkuliahan); Do (pelaksanaan perkuliahan dengan dihadiri observer); dan See (diskusi dan refleksi proses perkuliahan). Penelitian ini menerapkan perkuliahan multimodel dengan pendekatan kontekstual. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan refleksi perkuliahan dapat meningkatkan kualitas hasil dan proses perkuliahan. Hasil perkuliahan mahasiswa meningkat dari rata-rata 49,25 % menjadi 78,75 %. Jadi secara umum pelaksanaan Lesson Study dapat meningkatkan kualitas perkuliahan Fisika Inti pada program studi Pendidikan Fisika. Kata kunci : lesson study, fsika inti

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the improvement of students' thinking skills through the Earth and Space Science (IPBA) lectures that integrate science activities with interactive multimedia and local science. The research method used was experimental design (quasy experiment) with comparative group of pretest-posttest group design. Data collection techniques that will be done are measurement techniques in the form of students' thinking skills tests and surveys in the form of student and lecturer responses to the lectures are held. Physics education student semester 4 academic year 2016/2017 will participate as research subject. The results showed that the increase (N-gain) of students' thinking skill in experimental class was 0,70 and control class was 0,40 (both medium category). By using Paired Sample Test obtained tcount = 8,338 at significance level P = 0,000. The significance level is less than 0.05 (P <α), so it can be concluded that the application of lectures that integrate local science and technology in IPBA lectures can improve students' thinking skills significantly compared with conventional lectures.Keywords: high order thinking skills, earth and space science, multimedia interaktif.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk-bentuk kesalahan yang dilakukan oleh 33 orang siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Pemangkat dalam melakukan pengukuran menggunakan multimeter analog. Penelitian survai ini menggunakan alat pengumpul data berupa tes dan lembar penilaian kinerja siswa mengukur tegangan catudaya, arus dalam rangkaian dan hambatan resistor. Hasil analisis data memperlihatkan, rata-rata persentase jumlah siswa yang salah tiap pengukuran: (1) tegangan AC sebesar 29,7 % (2) tegangan DC sebesar 37,46 % (3) arus sebesar 51,2% (4) hambatan sebesar 41,07 %. Hasil temuan dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat dijadikan kajian untuk membantu guru fisika mengatasi kesalahan-kesalahan siswa menggunakan multimeter analog. Kata kunci : Deskripsi, kesalahan, multimeter analog Abstract: This research aimed to describe the forms of errors made by 33 students of class X SMA Negeri 1 Pemangkat when they do measurement using analog multimeter. This survey research use data collection tools in the form of test and students performance assessment sheet power measuring supply voltage, current and resistance in a series resistor. The results of the analysis data show, that the  average percentage of students who did error measurement: (1) AC voltage of 29.7% (2) DC voltage of 37.46% (3) current of 51.2% (4) barriers of 41.07%. The result of this research is expected can be used to help physic teachers overcome the errors of the student by using analog multimeter. Keywords: Description, error, analog multimeter

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to remediate students’ errors in solving ideal gas problems using Learning Together method assisted by Student Worksheet among students in Junior High School 1 Sekayam. Pre-experimental desing was choosen as the method in this research, using intact group method, 28 students from class XI IPA 2 academic year 2013/2014 was chosen to participate in the one group pretest-posttest design. McNemar and Chi Quadrat test showed that there was a significant decline in the number of students who experience mathematical errors (36,42%), physics errors (31,42%) and conception errors (21,42%). It is sugested for further study to conduct an alternative remediation activity in order to improve these results. Pre-experimental design merupakan metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, dengan rancangan one-group pretest-posttest melibatkan 28 siswa kelas XI IPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Sekayam tahun ajaran 2013/2014 yang dipilih menggunakan teknik intact group. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terjadi penurunan jumlah siswa yang mengalami kesalahan matematis sebesar 36,42%, kesalahan fisis sebesar 31,42% dan kesalahan memahami konsep sebesar 21,42%. Abstract

Abstract: Simple descriptive survey method was conducted to investigate the percentage of students who were not able to solve Archimedes Law problems and reveal the forms of the inability which were experienced by students in each level of SOLO taxonomy. Using intact group method, 85 students from three classes were chosen to be the participants in this study. Data was collected by using 4 essay tests,concerning: (1) buoyant force concept application, (2) buoyant force on floating object, (3) buoyant force on submerged object, (4) buoyant force on drowned object. Eachtest consists of four questions that represented each level of SOLO taxonomy. It was found that 48,2% students were not able to solve questions on uni-structural level; 78,8% students were not able to solvequestions on multi-structural level; 97,6% students were not able to solve questions on relational level and 100% students were not able to solvequestions on extended abstract level. The problems concerning buoyant force on drowned objects was the problem which most student unable to solve (95,3%). The most form of the inability which were experienced by students was not able to use the correct formula (30,7%). It is suggested that the further study to conduct a treatment particularly to improve students’ physics problem solving ability at extended abstract level. Keywords : Archimedes Law, SOLO Taxonomy Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persentase jumlah siswa yang tidak mampu memecahkan soal hukum Archimedes serta mengungkap bentuk-bentuk ketidakmampuan yang dialami pada tiap level taksonomi SOLO. Untuk itu, digunakan metode survei berbentuk deskriptif sederhana yang melibatkan 85 siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 8 Pontianak tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Alat pengumpul menggunakan 4 buah soal pada konsep (1) gaya apung, (2) fenomena terapung, (3) fenomena melayang dan (4) fenomena tenggelam, dengan tiap soal terdiri dari empat pertanyaan pada tiap level taksonomi SOLO. Ditemukan 48,2% siswa tidak mampu memecahkan soal level uni-structural; 78,8% siswa tidak mampu memecahkan soal level multi-structural; 97,6% siswa tidak mampu memecahkan soal level relational dan 100% siswa tidak mampu memecahkan soal level extended abstract dengan bentuk ketidakmampuan yang paling banyak dialami yaitu tidak mampu menggunakan rumus yang tepat (30,7%). Soal mengenai konsep fenomena tenggelam merupakan soal yang paling banyak tidak mampu dipecahkan oleh siswa (97,3%). Disarankan agar dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut guna meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam memecahkan soal fisika khususnya pada level extended abstract. Kata Kunci : Hukum Archimedes, Taksonomi SOLO

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar peserta didik melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Head Together (NHT) pada materi gelombang di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 10 Pontianak. Penelitian ini berbentuk penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII A SMPN 10 Pontianak tahun ajaran 2014/2015 yang berjumlah 36 peserta didik. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi dan tes uraian. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data disimpulkan sebagai berikut: (1) penerapan model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Numbered Head Together (NHT) pada materi gelombang telah terlaksana sesuai dengan langkah-langkah yang ditetapkan; (2) aktivitas belajar siswa yang berkategori sangat aktif dan aktif pada siklus I adalah 86%. Pada siklus II aktivitas belajar siswa yang berkategori sangat aktif dan aktif meningkat menjadi 92% (terjadi peningkatan sebesar 6%); (3) hasil belajar siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan pada siklus I sebesar 72%. Pada siklus II hasil belajar siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan meningkat menjadi 83% (terjadi peningkatan sebesar 11%). Kata Kunci: Aktivitas, Hasil Belajar, Numbered Head Together Abstract: The purpose of this research is to develop the activity and the study result of the student by applying cooperative learning model numbered head together type in the material of wave in class VIII SMPN 10 Pontianak. This research is classroom action research. The subject on this research is the student of VIII A SMPN 10 Pontianak in school year of 2014/2015 which total 36 students. The tools of data collection used in this research is the observation paper and test description. According to the result of the data analysis concluded as follow: (1) the applying of cooperative learning model numbered head together type in the material of wave has been carried out appropriately with the appointed steps; (2) the student’s learning acitivity which category were very active and active on the first cycle is 86%. On the second cycle, the student’s learning acitivity which category were very active and active increased into 92% (improvement occurred is 6%); (3) the stydy result of the student which succeeded in the firts cycle was 72%. In the second cycle, the study result of the student which succeeded increased into 83% (improvement occured is 11%). Keywords:  Activities, Learning Outcomes, Numbered Head Together
