Abstract

Abstract

In the era of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, COVID-19 screening education is essential for the general public, especially for those who undergo assisted reproductive technology (ART) programs. Understanding the preventive measures and precautions of COVID-19 during the treatment process is necessary. Health care staff must also understand the importance of proper COVID-19 screening and control measures. This educational activity is in the form of a YouTube live streaming program that can be followed by the general public, including infertile couples who want to know about infertility, examination procedures, COVID-19 screening guidelines, and the TRB program. Education about COVID-19 screening can minimize stigma and enhance public confidence in the screening procedures. The results of this educational delivery make the general public, especially couples who will undergo the ART program, ready and have the ability to undergo COVID-19 testing, services, and screening. In addition, by providing education and implementing effective screening, we can work together to combat the COVID-19 pandemic and ensure that people receive quality and safe health services.

Abstract

Centrifugal pump is one of the most important components that is widely used by industry and functions to move liquids in the form of water or other liquid. One of the things that often happens on centrifugal pumps is the occurrence of high vibrations and abnormal sounds. High vibration in the pump is something that should be anticipated because it can cause damage to the bearings, seals, and shafts. If the pump continues to operate in this condition, it will also cause damage to other pump components and cause the pump to stop operating. Therefore, the condition of the pump must be monitored regularly to ensure that the pump can operate properly. One of the most frequently used methods to find out where high vibrations come from is to use the aptitude analyst application that will produce a unique vibrational spectrum. Vibration analysis is done by observing the amplitude and frequency of the vibration signal. Vibration spectrum analysis can detect pump damage without having to disassemble the equipment and can provide early warning before major damage occurs and takes a large repair cost. The results showed that the existence of high vibration at the 11-PA-7131A pump was caused by the parallel misalignment that occurred at the pump shaft and motor. This is indicated by the high amplitude of vibration on orders 1x, 2x and followed by the presence of amplitude on orders 3x. Vibration data retrieval after the alignment process on the pump shaft and motor also proves that there is a very significant change in vibration amplitude on orders 1x, 2x, and on order 3x. Overall vibration also experienced a very significant decrease so that the pump can be operated normally.

Abstract

Objective : This study aims to explore the relationship between micturition disorders and adenomyosis and dysmenorrhea and provide insight into the factors associated with the severity of LUTS symptoms in these conditions. Methods : This study was a descriptive qualitative study. We retrospectively collected medical record data from the Obstetrics Gynecology Outpatient Ward of Dr. Moewardi Surakarta General Hospital in the period January 2021 to May 2023. The results of this study analyzed using Pearson correlation analysis if normally distributed and using Mann-Whitney if not normally distributed, thus, statistically analyzed. Results: There is a significant relationship between adenomyosis and dysmenorrhea on urinary disorders (p value of 0.016) where urinary disorders are found to be more severe in adenomyosis patients with dysmenorrhea. Conclusion : Lower urinary tract symptoms are common in symptomatic adenomyosis patients and greatly affect the patient's quality of life. Dysmenorrhea can be a potential risk factor that increases the occurrence of moderate to severe LUTS. Keywords: adenomyosis; dysmenorrhea; urinary disturbance.

Abstract

Rapid economic growth in Indonesia, bolstered by digitization and telecommunications advancements, generates both strategic possibilities and difficulties for the sector, making it crucial to economic expansion and appealing to investors. The purpose of this study is to examine how stock returns in telecommunications sub-industry businesses listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2019–2023 timeframe are impacted by Return on Assets (ROA), Earnings Per Share (EPS), Price Earning Ratio (PER), and Economic Value Added (EVA). Purposive sampling is used with panel data regression analysis in this study. Fourteen telecommunications sub-sector businesses that were listed on the IDX between 2019 and 2023 made up the research sample. EViews 10 was used to examine the data. The findings of the research showed that although Price Earning Ratio has a negative and considerable impact on stock returns, Economic Value Added has a negative but negligible impact, and Return on Asset and Earnings Per Share have a positive but negligible impact. The independent variables may account for 32.01% of the variability in stock returns, according to the coefficient of determination (R2) value of 0.320065. The remaining 67.99% is influenced by factors not included in the model.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of motivation and work environment on the performance of Generation Z employees in the South Jakarta area. The problem identified in this study is the low performance of employees in several work sectors, which is suspected to be influenced by work motivation and work environment conditions. This study uses a quantitative approach with an associative design to measure the relationship between work motivation and work environment variables as independent variables, and employee performance as the dependent variable. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents randomly selected using a random sampling method based on the Slovin formula. The results of the study indicate that work motivation has a positive and significant influence on employee performance, with a calculated t value of 2.354 (p = 0.021). In addition, the work environment is also proven to have a significant positive influence on employee performance, as evidenced by a calculated t value of 3.696 (p = 0.000). The conclusion of this study confirms that motivation and work environment play an important role in improving the performance of Generation Z employees. The practical implication of this study is the importance of managing motivation and optimizing the work environment to create a conducive work atmosphere that encourages productivity and the achievement of organizational goals.
