Abstract

This study examines the important role of waste sorting in waste bank operations for environmental preservation purposes. This analysis highlights the importance of effective waste segregation practices in facilitating sustainable waste management. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach using observation and interview methods. The results obtained from this research are an in-depth understanding of waste management regarding waste sorting based on type.

Abstract

The waste management process at this recycling center involves separating waste that can be recycled and what cannot. The research results show that waste recycling centers provide significant benefits to the community. The environment is cleaner, and these efforts provide real help to the community. Additionally, recycling centers provide employment opportunities to employees, especially those who may not have previously had a job, thereby helping to improve their economic conditions. The Lugosobo waste recycling center not only plays a role in waste management, but also provides support for the environment and local economy. This research uses qualitative methods with descriptive analysis techniques through literature study, focusing on describing phenomena that exist or have occurred. Data was obtained from various sources such as interviews, field notes, audio recordings, videos and documentation. This research reviews the KSM "Manunggal Berkah" Waste Recycling Center in Lugosobo Village, Gebang District, Purworejo Regency. This recycling center is run by 22 employees who work closely with 67 customers.

Abstract

Penumpukan sampah merupakan salah satu masalah klasik lingkungan hidup di Indonesia yang masih menghantui penduduk Indonesia sampai sekarang ini. Pengelolaan sampah yang kurang maksimal dapat menjadi momok yang menghambat kegiatan sehari-hari manusia, seperti menimbulkan bau tidak sedap, menimbulkan penyakit, menjadi sarang hewan kotor, dan memberikan kesan kumuh dalam suatu lingkungan. Salah satu upaya untuk dapat menanggulangi masalah penumpukan sampah adalah dengan diadakannya program bank sampah. Secara umum bank sampah memiliki 3 buah fungsi utama yaitu, mengurangi (reduce), menggunakan kembali (reuse), dan mendaur ulang (recycle). Bank sampah memiliki tujuan utama yaitu disamping mengurangi jumlah sampah yang ada di lingkungan juga bertujuan memberikan pemberdayaan dan meningkatkan kondisi ekonomi masyarakat dengan memanfaatkan potensi keuangan yang terdapat pada sampah jika dikelola dengan cara yang penuh kreativitas dan inovasi. Metode penelitian dalam artikel ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Metode penelitian deskriptif merupakan suatu pendekatan penelitian yang berupaya untuk menggambarkan dan menafsirkan suatu hal, seperti kondisi atau hubungan yang ada, pendapat yang berkembang, proses yang tengah berlangsung, dampak yang terjadi, atau tren yang sedang berjalan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Bank Sampah Sami Asih yang terletak di Desa Sekartejo, Kecamatan Pituruh, Kabupaten Purworejo.

Abstract

Waste is a collection of discarded materials originating from human and natural activities whose main function has been taken away. In 2022, based on data from the Min- istry of the Environment, total waste production in Indonesia will reach 67.8 million tons/year. This data shows that the level of waste production in Indonesia is very high. Therefore, there is a need for awareness among the public to manage waste so that it be- comes something that has use value. A waste bank is a place used to collect waste that has been sorted. Based on this situation analysis, it is necessary to carry out systematic, com- prehensive and sustainable activities which include reducing and handling waste. Various efforts continue to be made to change people's mindset that waste can provide many bene- fits, and this requires patience and a slightly longer process. Because there are still many people who are not aware of the importance of waste management. Therefore, it is neces- sary to establish a waste bank in Sucenjurutengah village. The existence of this waste bank is to maintain the cleanliness of the environment, providing blessings to the people of Sucenjurutengah. Waste management is very necessary to maintain environmental cleanli- ness. Because if the environment is not maintained or clean it will cause various problems, one of which will cause health problems.

Abstract

This research aims to develop and test Comic Media Based on Integrated Local Wisdom of Al Islam and Muhammadiyah as a means to convey learning material. This research uses the R&D method with the ADDIE stages. The stages are analyze, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and questionnaires. The data analysis technique uses a limited test with 5 subjects and a broad test with 20 subjects. The results of this research: 1) A comic product based on local wisdom integrated with Al Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan, material on class V heat transfer at SD Muhammadiyah Purwodadi. 2) The feasibility results consist of: a) Validation of science material experts 90%, AIK material experts 94% (very valid), media experts 74% (valid), and practitioners 100% (very valid). b) The practicality of students' responses from limited trials got 100% and extensive trials got 93%. The results of the implementation of learning at meeting 1, observer I got a percentage of 97% and observer II got a percentage of 95% and at meeting II observers I and II got a percentage of 97% which was categorized as very practical. c) Effectiveness is obtained from N-Gain analysis and the AIK observation sheet. N-Gain analysis through a one group pretest posttest design got 0.7 with effective criteria. The AIK observation sheet from the religious aspect and the independent aspect received 3.5 and 3.4 with very effective criteria. From the results of validity, practicality and effectiveness, comics based on integrated local wisdom of Al Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan can be said to be suitable for use.

Abstract

21st century learning requires having high-level thinking skills starting from elementary school in accordance with the government program managed by the Ministry of Education and Culture which aims to improve the quality of learning and graduates. This research aims to find out the results of the analysis of final semester assessment questions for HOTS-based science learning content for class V Muhammadiyah Purwodadi Elementary School. The research method used is a qualitative method, with descriptive data analysis techniques, a type of document analysis. Based on the results of the analysis, there are 2 categories of thinking skills in the final semester assessment question papers for class V science at SD Muhammadiyah Purwodadi. This category is LOTS or low level thinking skills, there are 10 questions for multiple choice, 7 questions for filling in, and 3 questions for description. Meanwhile, for the HOTS category or high level thinking skills, there are 6 questions for multiple choice, 3 questions for filling in, and 1 question for description. All the results of this analysis were taken from 30 science lesson content questions from theme 1 to theme 5.

Abstract

Pengembangan alat peraga berupa model sistem peredaran darah ini dilatar belakangi oleh minimnya alat peraga yang tersedia di sekolah – sekolah dasar. Pembelajaran yang abstrak dengan menggunakan alat peraga yang berupa gambar visual sehingga membuat siswa kesulitan dalam memahami materi pelajaran yang disampaiakan, karena tidak adanya motivasi belajar, sehingga berdampak pada hasil belajar siswa yang rendah. Siswa memiliki gaya belajar yang berbeda, seperti: visual, audio, dan kinestetik. Oleh karena itu guru berupaya membuat sebuah inovasi alat peraga berupa model sistem peredaran darah yang dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran menggunakan model demonstrasi. Tujuan dari pembuatan alat peraga ini adalah agar siswa lebih memahami secara nyata dan detail tentang proses perdaran darah pada tubuh manusia yang selama ini siswa hanya menggunakan gambar sebagai media visual, serta siswa dapat termotivasi dan pembelajaran tidak absrak, sehingga hasil belajar siswa dapat meningkat. Tujuan pembuatan model sistem peredaran darah terhadap motivasi belajar anak untuk memberikan gambaran konkret terhadap informasi maupun ide – ide baru dan menyatukan materi yang akan guru sampaikan terhadap pengetahuan yang akan diberikan kepada anak, sehingga materi yang disampaikan guru dapat diterima baik oleh siswa. Model sistem peredaran darah sendiri dapat dibuat dari barang bekas maupun baru. Alat peraga ini merupakan pengembangan baru dari alat peraga sebelumnya, serta dapat membantu guru dengan adanya teknologi, sehingga pembelajaran dapat berjalan dengan efektif, dan siswa pun dapat memahami materi dengan baik.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the science process skills of fifth grade students of one of the private elementary schools in Kemiri sub-district. The type of research used is qualitative with the research design is historical research. The subjects of this study were fifth grade students of one of the private elementary schools in Kemiri sub-district in the 2023/2024 school year with a total of 6 students taken from high, low, and medium abilities. Data collection techniques in this study using observation, questionnaires, interviews and documentation. Data analysis was carried out, namely, data reduction, data display, and conclusions. The results of this study obtained that the science process skills of fifth grade students of one of the private elementary schools in Kemiri sub-district are in the proficient category. With a description of each indicator of science process skills, namely: 1) observing is in the proficient category, 2) predicting in the proficient category, 3) classifying in the proficient category, 4) interpreting in the proficient category, 5) concluding in the proficient category, and 6) communicating in the decent category. It is expected that teachers carry out science learning by optimizing existing indicators in science process skills through questions and practices or experiments that meet the indicators of science process skills so that students have skills that are useful for their daily lives.

Abstract

Proses pembelajaran yang monoton belum menggunakan media ataupun kegiatan permainan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk dan mengetahui kelayakan berupa media edutainment berbasis bahan 3R terintegrasi profil pelajar Pancasila pada materi mengubah bentuk energi untuk sekolah dasar. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan Research and Development (R&D), dengan menggunakan model ADDIE. Model ADDIE ini merupakan singkatan dari Analysis, Design, Develop, Implement, dan Evaluate. Hasil penelitian dan pengembangan produk berupa media edutainment bernama Jelajah Sumber Energi yang terdiri dari 3 permainan diantaranya papan petualangan, papan menara susun, dan papan susun kata. Data kevalidan dari media edutainment dilihat dari ahli materi skor 4,00, ahli media skor 3,90. Kepraktisan uji coba kelompok skor 3,53, uji coba lapangan skor 3,55. Penilaian guru keterlaksanaan pembelajaran menggunakan media skor3,83. Keefektifan data pretest dan posttest uji coba kelompok skor 0,71, uji coba lapangan skor 0,62, Produk media edutainment berbasis bahan 3R terintegrasi Profil Pelajar Pancasila materi mengubah bentuk energi di SD Swasta Purworejo layak digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas IV.

Abstract

Religious character is an essential foundation that every student should possess. This study aims to describe the religious character of students through school culture in the fourth grade of SD Muhammadiyah Kutoarjo. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with eight fourth-grade students from the 2024/2025 academic year as subjects, categorized as advanced, competent, proficient, and emerging. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The data were analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion verification techniques. The results of the study show variations in the implementation of religious character among students. Students in the advanced category (S1) have a high awareness of the importance of prayer, memorize four surahs, recite the Quran on time, and always perform congregational prayers. Students in the competent category (S2) carry out religious duties but tend to be motivated by sanctions. Students in the proficient category (S3) have good religious habits, although not yet fully consistent. Meanwhile, students in the emerging category (S4 to S8) show a lack of religious awareness, with some students reluctant to perform prayers, recite the Quran, and join congregational prayers.This study concludes that the religious character of students is formed through school culture, although the level of awareness and consistency in its implementation varies among students.
