Abstract

Understanding children's behavior and intentions to subscribe to YouTube channels are important for production companies and parents. This study analyzed factors influencing children’s behavioral intention to subscribe to YouTube channels using UTAUT 2 model and SEM-PLS analysis. The samples were 100 kids aged 7 to 12 who live in the Greater Jakarta area. Data were collected through an online questionnaire. The results showed that habit and social influence significantly influenced children’s behavioral intention to use Kidz YouTube Channel. Children’s behavioral intention to use Kidz YouTube Channel significantly influenced children’s usage behavior. Moreover, children’s usage behavior significantly influenced their intention to subscribe to Kidz's YouTube Channel. The study indicated that children’s decision to subscribe to YouTube channels was simple and relied on their habits and social influence. Therefore, parents need to supervise children’s activities on YouTube. Meanwhile, the content creator company could optimize a routine schedule for uploading a new video based on selected themes and also needs to increase parents’ awareness of the safety of their program.

Abstract

Sustainable consumption behavior, namely making decisions that ensure the environment will not be damaged by SDG's goal 12. This research explores the relationship between respondent characteristics and sustainable consumption behavior and the influence of teacher socialization, parental socialization, and social media on consumption and sustainability values. This research was conducted cross-sectionally on 218 elementary school students using cluster random sampling. The data was processed using SPSS 25 and Smart-PLS 3. The results showed that sustainable consumption behavior among male students tended to be better and also tended to be better among children who had working mothers. The results of the SEM analysis showed a significant influence of parental socialization on sustainable consumption behavior. In addition, a significant positive indirect effect was found between teacher socialization, parental socialization, and social media exposure on sustainable consumption behavior through consumption values. Therefore, parents need to provide positive socialization to children regarding consumption values to encourage sustainable consumption behavior in children.

Abstract

This study examines the factors driving telemedicine adoption among physicians in Indonesia, employing an integrated framework based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT). The framework investigates the influence of performance expectancy, effort expectancy, facilitating conditions, social support, and economic value on physicians behavioral intention and actual use of telemedicine, with attitude acting as a key mediating variable. Additionally, demographic characteristics, including age, practice type, and practice duration, are explored as potential moderators in these relationships. Data was gathered from a cross-sectional survey of 244 physicians across various specialties and regions in Indonesia. The study findings, analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), reveal that effort expectancy, facilitating conditions, social support, and economic value significantly influence both behavioral intention and actual use. In contrast, performance expectancy does not have a significant effect. Attitude plays a crucial mediating role in translating physicians perceptions into adoption behaviors. Moreover, practice type moderates the path from behavioral intention to actual use, with general practitioners more likely to adopt telemedicine than specialists. The results emphasize that telemedicine strategies should prioritize usability, economic value, social support, and institutional backing. This study contributes to the telemedicine adoption literature by extending TAM and UTAUT with attitudinal mediation and economic value, while highlighting emerging psychosocial factors in Southeast Asia. These insights offer practical guidance for healthcare managers and policymakers.

Abstract

Telemedicine has become a key component of digital health management in emerging healthcare systems. This study aims to investigate the behavioural drivers of sustainable telemedicine adoption among physicians. An integrative behavioural model was developed by combining the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology, Technology Acceptance Model, Innovation Resistance Theory, and Social Cognitive Theory, along with constructs of economic value and social support. A cross-sectional survey of 244 licensed physicians was conducted using purposive sampling, and data were analysed with Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) and Multi-Group Analysis. The results indicate that economic value is the strongest predictor of behavioural intention, while social support is the primary determinant of actual use. Perceived digital risk had no significant impact, underscoring an intention–action gap where readiness does not always lead to sustained behaviour. MGA revealed that physicians with 5–10 years of experience were more sensitive to digital risks, which negatively influenced their intention to adopt. These findings emphasize the importance of economic framing and professional support in closing the intention–action gap and strengthening sustainable telemedicine adoption. The study offers evidence-based insights for managing long-term digital health transformation in developing healthcare contexts.

Abstract

Intensifying competition and rapid changes in consumer preferences within the Indonesian bakery industry have compelled firms to continuously strengthen their internal capabilities to sustain competitive advantage. This research aims to examine the effect of organizational culture, knowledge sharing, and organizational innovation in building a competitive advantage in the bakery industry. Using the perspectives of resource-based view, knowledge-based view, and dynamic capabilities, this study adopts a sequential design of mixed-method exploration. The qualitative phase involved in-depth interviews with one director, two coordinating managers, and one manager, followed by quantitative analysis using 197 survey responses. The data was analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results show that organizational culture significantly influences knowledge sharing, organizational innovation, and competitive advantage. In addition, the sharing of knowledge and organizational innovation contributes significantly to competitive advantage. These findings emphasize the importance of fostering a strong organizational culture that supports knowledge sharing and innovation to achieve sustainable competitiveness.

Abstract

The decline in people's income causes their financial prosperity. This can occur due to a lack of public awareness in managing finances for the future or a lack of interest in investing. This research aims to analyze the influence of financial literacy (knowledge, attitudes and behavior) on investment interest. This research is a quantitative descriptive study involving 205 respondents who met the criteria, namely adults and not yet invested. Sampling was carried out using voluntary sampling techniques from people who were willing to become respondents. The data collected is primary data obtained directly from respondents by filling out an online questionnaire. The research results show that the respondents' financial knowledge is in the low category, while the respondents' financial attitudes and behavior are in the medium category. The investment interest of all respondents is in the low category. The results of the analysis also show that investment interest is directly influenced by financial knowledge and financial attitudes. Financial knowledge has an indirect influence on investment interest, namely through financial attitudes. It is hoped that the public can increase their financial literacy and interest in investing through socialization, advocacy and mentoring programs.

Abstract

Santri in Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) are expected to uphold values of simplicity and self-discipline. However, increasing exposure to consumerist culture has challenged these ideals, leading to a rise in consumptive behavior among santri-college students. This study investigates how parental interaction influences consumptive behavior, with self-control acting as a mediating factor. Grounded in a quantitative approach, the study involved 237 santri aged 18–23 years in Yogyakarta, selected through Cluster Random Sampling and refined via Purposive Sampling based on defined criteria. Validated instruments were used to measure parental interaction (Cronbach’s Alpha = 0.85), self-control (α = 0.85), and consumptive behavior (α = 0.96). Data analysis using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) revealed that while parental interaction does not directly reduce consumptive behavior (p = 0.080), it significantly enhances self-control (p < 0.001), which in turn negatively correlates with consumptive behavior (p < 0.001). These findings underscore the critical role of self-control as a mediator and suggest that strengthening parental interaction may indirectly reduce consumptive tendencies. This research contributes to educational and psychological strategies that support the development of financially wise, disciplined santri aligned with pesantren values.
