Abstract

The evaluation of student satisfaction with the computer laboratory facilities at UIN Sumatera Utara is crucial for improving the quality of educational services provided by the institution. The main issue faced is the lack of accurate data regarding student satisfaction with the facilities available in the laboratory. This study aims to analyze the level of student satisfaction using the C5.0 algorithm, which is known for its effectiveness in data classification. The research methodology involves collecting data through a comprehensive survey covering various aspects of laboratory facilities, such as reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and tangibles. The survey was conducted with a number of students to obtain representative information about their satisfaction with the provided facilities. After data collection, data cleaning and processing steps were carried out to build a classification model using the C5.0 algorithm. The results of the study showed that the C5.0 model achieved a very high accuracy rate of 99.25%, with precision of 99.72% and recall of 99.45% on the training data. Meanwhile, on the testing data, the accuracy reached 97%, precision was 100%, and recall was 96%. These findings indicate that the model has a very high ability to accurately classify student satisfaction levels. In conclusion, this model can provide useful recommendations for the university to identify areas that need improvement to meet student expectations. The implication of this research is the importance of the continuous development of laboratory facilities to improve student satisfaction and create a more optimal learning experience

Abstract

Abstract: Providing fertilizer that is not appropriate to soil conditions and plant needs will greatly affect plant growth, so this needs to be paid close attention and cannot be done haphazardly or excessively. Applying a combination of the SAW method and the MAUT method to produce a decision support system that can provide advice on determining the best type of organic fertilizer that can be given to ornamental plants. This research uses the Simple Additive Weight method which is used in selecting alternatives, then ranking them and getting the best alternative and using the Multi Attribute Utility Theory method to solve the problem by using a final evaluation scheme for an object or it can be said with a weight value which is added up with the relevant value of each utility. -his. Using the SAW method helps weight alternatives and criteria with a weight scale of 1-5, after weighting the alternatives, the ranking is then used using the MAUT method to get the final value, 1st place was obtained by Mutiara Pupuk NPK 16-16-1 with a final value of 0.815 and 20th place. obtained by ZPT Golstar 250 SC with a final value of 0.59, therefore Mutiara Pupuk NPK 16-16-1 is the best fertilizer for ornamental plant fertilizer.Keyword: Decision Making System, SAW, MAUT, Alternative Fertilizer Abstrak: Pemberian pupuk yang tidak sesuai dengan kondisi tanah dan kebutuhan tanaman akan sangat mempengaruhi pertumbuhan dari tanaman, sehingga hal ini perlu dicermati dan tidak bisa dilakukan secara sembarangan atau dilakukan secara berlebihan. Melakukan penerapan kombinasi dari metode SAW dan metode MAUT untuk menghasilkan sebuah sistem pendukung keputusan yang dapat memberikan saran untuk menentukan jenis pupuk organik terbaik yang dapat diberikan pada tanaman hias. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Simple Additive Weigth yang digunakan dalam menyeleksi alternatif kemudian dilakukan perengkingan dan didapatkan alternatif terbaik dan menggunakan metode Multi Attribute Utility Theory untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan dengan menggunakan skema evaluasi akhir dari suatu objek atau dapat dikatakan dengan nilai bobot yang dijumlahkan dengan nilai relevan tiap utility-nya. Dengan menggunakan metode SAW membantu pembobotan alternatif dan kriteria dengan skala bobot 1–5, setelah dilakukan pembobotan alternatif selanjutnya perangkingan menggunakan metode MAUT untuk mendapatkan nilai akhir, rangking 1 didapatkan oleh Mutiara Pupuk NPK 16-16-1 dengan nilai akhir yaitu 0,815 dan ranking 20 didapatkan oleh ZPT Golstar 250 SC dengan nilai akhir yaitu 0,59, oleh karena itu Mutiara Pupuk NPK 16-16-1 merupakan pupuk terbaik untuk pupuk tanaman hias.Kata kunci: Sistem Pengambilan Keputusan, SAW, MAUT, Pupuk Alternatif

Abstract

Renstra atau Rencana Strategis Fakultas Sains dan Teknologi (FST) UIN SU Medan adalah dokumen perencanaan yang berisi visi, misi, tujuan, strategi, dan program kerja yang akan dilaksanakan oleh FST dalam jangka waktu tertentu, biasanya lima tahun. Renstra ini sangat penting karena membantu fakultas untuk menjaga fokus dan konsistensi dalam mencapai tujuan akademis dan operasionalnya, serta memastikan bahwa semua aktivitas yang dilakukan selaras dengan visi dan misi yang telah ditetapkan. Maka dari itu setiap Fakultas akan membutuhkan adanya laporan monitoring dan evaluasi ketercapaian renstra setiap tahunnya. Dengan bantuan sebuah sistem informasi, tentunya Laporan monitoring dan evaluasi Renstra ini lebih efisien dan efektif ditambah dengan adanya visualisasi informasi yang transparan dan memberikan gambaran kondisi Fakultas Sains dan Teknologi UINSU Medan dalam melaksanakan Visi dan Misi yang dituangkan dengan Renstra secara baik dan komprehensif. Sistem Informasi evaluasi Renstra FST ini dibangun dalam platform webbase menggunakan Bahasa pemrograman javascript yang didukung database MySQL. Kata kunci: Monitoring, Evaluasi, Ketercapaian, Renstra.

Abstract

Sistem rekomendasi membantu pengguna memilih alternatif terbaik berdasarkan data interaksi, terutama dalam konteks pelatihan dalam hal pendidikan. Salah satu metode yang digunakan adalah Collaborative Filtering, yang bekerja dengan menganalisis pola preferensi melalui rating pengguna. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan sistem rekomendasi berbasis Collaborative Filtering pada program Vocational School Graduate Academy (VSGA) untuk membantu lulusan memilih skema pelatihan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan mereka. Dua metode utama diterapkan, yaitu Pearson Correlation dan Cosine Similarity. Pearson Correlation mengukur kesamaan pola preferensi melalui perhitungan rata-rata, sementara Cosine Similarity menghitung kemiripan antar pengguna dengan pendekatan vektor. Adapun dataset sebanyak 50 data yang digunakan yaitu dataset rating dari masing-masing skema pelatihan VSGA sebanyak 45 data dan menggunakan 5 data pembanding untuk di uji, untuk mencari rekomendasi pada 2 data. Sistem ini dibangun menggunakan Python dengan pustaka Pandas, NumPy, dan scikit-learn. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa kedua metode memberikan rekomendasi akurat sesuai skenario tertentu. Sistem ini diharapkan membantu lulusan menemukan pelatihan relevan, meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran, dan mempersiapkan mereka menghadapi era industri 4.0. Kata kunci: Collaborative Filtering; Pearson Correlation; Cosine Similarity; Sistem Rekomendasi; Algoritma

Abstract

The process of collecting and distributing zakat is currently managed by an institution called the Amil Zakat Agency (BAZ) which is spread throughout Indonesia, including in the city of Medan. The Amil Zakat Agency in Medan City is called Baznas Medan City. Medan City Amil Zakat Agency (Baznas) is an amil body that is responsible for the collection, distribution and management of zakat in Medan City. This study applies the ANP and BORDA methods in the zakat distribution SPK at the Medan City Baznas. In producing a decision support system in selecting who is entitled to receive zakat in Medan City using the ANP and BORDA methods. The data obtained will later be used in system development. System development means creating a new system to completely replace the old system or improve the existing system. Selection of Baznas Recipient Candidates in this system will produce a ranking based on ANP and Borda calculations. The SPK at the Medan City Baznas using the ANP and BORDA methods was successfully designed and built based on the terms and conditions set by the relevant parties. This system can make it easier for staff or officers at the Medan City Baznas to select mustahik who are the most appropriate and eligible to receive assistance from the Medan City Baznas. Based on the results of the Black Box test, the features of the Decision Support System for zakat recipients that were built went very well and it can be concluded that each form of this system has met expectations in minimizing errors whether invalid data or errors in data input

Abstract

As part of its efforts to improve digital banking services, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BRI) has launched a mobile banking application called BRImo. This move is in line with the global trend where financial institutions are increasingly focusing on digitalization to meet the evolving needs of customers who demand faster and more efficient accessibility to banking services. BRImo comes as an innovative solution to provide a better banking experience to BRI customers. This research was conducted to find out the reviews of the BRImo application on the App markets google playstore, In BRImo mobile banking's efforts to remain competitive with other mobile banking applications, understanding positive and negative reviews from users is very important. The fundamental issue that must be addressed is how to analyze positive reviews to strengthen the advantages of the BRImo app and identify negative reviews to address weaknesses that may hinder its competitiveness. This research was conducted to find out the reviews of the BRImo application on the App markets google playstore, In BRImo mobile banking's efforts to remain competitive with other mobile banking applications, understanding positive and negative reviews from users is very important. The method used in the calculation is TF-IDF and NLP approach and the calculation of SVM algorithm is trained using training data. The calculation results show that the model has an accuracy of 92%. or Precision Score of about 92%, Recall Score has 100% and F1 Score has 0.95 or approximately 95%.

Abstract

The MariUmroh application is an Android-based Umrah and Hajj travel marketplace application designed specifically to bring together sellers and buyers in one digital platform. The MariUmroh marketplace application aims to make it easier for prospective pilgrims and Umrah and Hajj travel companies to interact, transact, and promote their products online. In its business processes, the MariUmroh application uses a B2C (Business to Customer) business model. Where business activities are carried out by travel admins to customers using electronic media directly. The development of the Android-based MariUmroh application is built with the Flutter Framework which uses the Dart programming language. In building the MariUmroh marketplace application, the development system uses the waterfall method, in its creation it begins with needs analysis, system design, program code writing, program testing, program implementation and maintenance. In the MariUmroh application which offers various Umrah and Hajj travel packages to the wider community easily and more efficiently, and sellers easily promote their products and don't have to worry about losing consumers, the features provided by the application are also very useful for pilgrims during their worship at holy land. Abstract

Timely graduation is a crucial indicator of the success of study programs in higher education. However, in the Computer Science Study Program at UIN Sumatera Utara, the number of students graduating on time is relatively low. This study aims to predict student graduation using the C5.0 algorithm, a part of Decision Tree, to classify students who graduate on time and those who graduate late. The data used includes GPA scores from semesters 1 to 4, total credits (SKS), final project duration, study period, and entry pathway. From 100 data samples, the model was tested using a 70:30 data split ratio. The evaluation results showed that the prediction model using the C5.0 algorithm achieved 100% accuracy, with Precision, recall, and f1-score values of 1.00 for both classes, namely "On Time" and "Late." This research demonstrates that the C5.0 algorithm can accurately predict student graduation and assist the university in developing strategies to improve timely graduation rates.

Abstract

SMP N 7 Padang Sidempuan encountered challenges in optimally allocating the School Operational Assistance Fund (BOS). The school's administration faced difficulties in determining the prioritization of fund usage during each period. The suboptimal utilization of the BOS could impede the achievement of national educational objectives and have adverse effects on human resource capabilities. This study combined theAHP and SAW algorithms to determine the priority allocation of the School Operational Assistance Fund (BOS). The objective was to develop a web-based Decision Support System for budget management at SMP Negeri 7 Padang Sidempuan. With this approach, a system capable of determining the priority sequencefor BOS allocation based on its components was established. The research resulted in an integrated decision support system in the form of a website. This system effectively determined the priority sequence for BOS allocation based on various relevant components. With the implementation of this system, SMP N 7 Padang Sidempuan successfully managed the BOS, thereby maximizing its impact on improving the quality of education.

Abstract

Penyakit tanaman karet menyerang akar, batang, daerah sadap, dan daun. Faktor penyebab rendahnya perkebunan karet adalah karena keterbatasan informasi dan pengendalian penyakit pohon karet, sehingga perlu adanya suatu sistem untuk meningkatkan pengendalian penyakit pohon karet dengan bantuan sistem ini. Saat ini tanpa adanya sistem hanya di selesaikan oleh seorang pakar yang dianggap berhasil jika mampu mengambil keputusan seperti seorang pakar. Pembuatan sistem ini dapat membantu seorang pegawai dalam mendiagnosa penyakit pada tanaman karet. Pembuatan sistem ini diperlukan seorang yang ahli dalam bidangnya untuk mendapatkan data yang akurat mengenai informasi penyakit tanaman karet, data yang digunakan yaitu 22 gejala dan 7 penyakit. Pada penelitian ini metode yang digunakan adalah Naive Bayes. Metode Naive Bayes bekerja dengan cara mencari nilai probabilitas munculnya penyakit tanaman karet. Aplikasi ini dikembangkan berbasis Android dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Java pada aplikasi Android Studio. Dari penelitian ini di dapati bahwa penyakit jamur akar putih mempunyai 7 gejala dan pilihan tingkat keyakinan dalam setiap gejala antara 0 dan 1. Kemudian penyakit jamur akar putih mempunyai hasil nilai yang paling terbesar yaitu 0,0000002911.
