Abstract

AbstractAbstract: The aim of this study was to determine the effect of the implementation of direct instruction using mind mapping to enhance the students’ outcomes in quantities, unit and measurement to the seventh grade students of Mts Islamiyah Pontianak. The research was conducted in form of pre-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest design. The sample was chosen by using intact group method, the seventh grade with the number of 19 students to be treated. Based on result from t-test, the significant value was 0,00 that is smaller than 0,05, So it was concluded that h0 was rejected and ha was accepted, which means the implementation of direct instruction using mind mapping influence and increase students’ outcomes. The effect size after the treatment based on the calculation of n-gain was 0,25 with low category. This data showed that there was difference of learning outcomes before and after the treatment. This research is expected to be one of the teaching alternatives for teacher to improve students’ outcomes. Keywords: Direct Instruction, Mind Mapping, Student’s Outcome

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran remedial disertai umpan balik terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi gaya di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Sungai Raya. Penelitian ini berbentuk eksperimen semu dengan rancangan Pre-test Post-test Control Group Design. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 103 siswa, diambil menggunakan teknik Cluster Random Sampling. Tes yang digunakan berbentuk pilihan ganda sebanyak 15 soal pre-test dan 15 soal post-test. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu: (1) hasil belajar siswa sebelum dan sesudah diberi perlakuan berbeda, tetapi tidak signifikan; (2a) tidak ada perbedaan hasil belajar antara siswa pada ketiga kelas sebelum diberi perlakuan (? = 5%, sig = 0,396), (2b) terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar antara siswa pada ketiga kelas sesudah diberi perlakuan (? = 5%, sig = 0,016); dan (3) besar effect size pemberian immediate dan delayed feedback sama yaitu 0,67 (kategori sedang). Pembelajaran remedial disertai immediate dan delayed feedback memiliki efektivitas yang sama terhadap hasil belajar.   Kata kunci: Remedial, Feedback, Hasil Belajar, Gaya   Abstract: The aim of this research is to investigate the effect of remedial learning with feedback to student?s learning outcomes on force material in 8th grade in SMP Negeri 2 Sungai Raya. This research used quasi-experimental with Pre-test Post-test Control Group Design. 103 students participated as sample, taken by using Cluster Random Sampling technique. The instrument used is multiple choice tests; 15 pre-test questions and 15 post-test questions. The results are (1) the student?s learning outcomes before and after being treated is different, but not significant; (2a) there?s no difference between the student?s learning outcomes on three classes before being treated (? = 5%, sig = 0,396), (2b) there?s a difference between the student?s learning outcomes on three classes after being treated (? = 5%, sig = 0,016); and (3) the effect size of immediate and delayed feedback is equal, 0,67 (intermediate category). Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to find the profile of student misconception and to see the difference in percentage of misconception of male and female students of grade XII of SMA Negeri 9 Pontianak on static electricity material, using descriptive research method. The data collection technique uses multiple choice test with an open reason. An average student misconception 77,36% of 90 students found. 65 (72.22%) students assumed that if two objects were rubbed together then electrons and protons shifted. 78 (86.88%) students assume if the charge of an object after rubbing has excess electrons then the charge of the object initially is negative. 18 (20%) students assume the interaction of two objects of mutual excess electrons will pull. 80 (88.89%) students assume large electric force inversely proportional to the distance between charged objects. In Problems 5 and 6, 100% of students assume that the force of attraction or deny between two charged objects is due to the amount of charge on the object. 42 (46.67%) students on problem 7, and 78 (86.67%) students on question 10 assume the positive source charge of the direction of the field near the source charge and the negative source charge of the field direction away from the source load. In problem 8, 70 (77.78%) misconception students explain the electric field strength at a point. 86 (95.56%) students assume the distance of an object, the stronger the field strength. There is no difference in the percentage of misconceptions between male and female students. With result of chi squared test count equal to 0,797 less than chi square 16,92 table value. Keywords: description, misconception profile, static electricity

Abstract

Abstrak : Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana manajemen kelas oleh wali kelas. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Lokasi penelitian di SMA Negeri 1 Tempunak. Subyek penelitian Kepala Sekolah. Wali Kelas dan siswa. Hasil penelitian, perencanaan manajemen kelas SMA Negeri 1 Tempunak belum terimplementasi dengan baik dan belum jelas, pelaksanaan manajemen kelas oleh wali kelas cukup baik, tetapi belum sesuai dengan ketentuan atau teori manajemen kelas yang seharusnya,dan evaluasi manajemen kelas tidak berjalan secara sistematis, jelas dan terarah, hal ini dibuktikan dengan wali kelas hnaya melakukan evaluasi melalui raport. Faktor penghambat manajemen kelas oleh wali kelas adalah guru yang memiliki tipe kurang demokratis, gaya guru yang monoton, guru yang tidak bersifat fleksibel, peserta didik yang kurangsadar dalam memenuhi tugas dan haknya, keluarga yang bersikap otoriter, fasilitas sekolah yang kurang lengkap. Kata Kunci : Manajemen Kelas, Wali Kelas Abstrack : The research objectives was to determine how management class by homeroom. In this study, researchers used a qualitative method with case study. Location study in SMA Negeri 1 Tempunak Kabupaten Sintang. Subjects were the principal, homeroom, and students. Research, planning management class SMA Negeri 1 Tempunak not been implemented well and unclear implementation by homeroom class management quite well, but not in accordance with the provision or management theory class is supposed to, and evaluation of classroom management is not running in a systematic, clear, and focused. This is evidenced by the homeroom just evaluation through report cards. Inhibiting factors homeroom classroom management by teachers who have less democratic type, style monotonous teachers, teachers who are not flexible, learners who are less conscious in fulfilling the duties and rights, family being authoritarian, facilities that are less complete. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian pre-experimental ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki penerapan strategi membaca 3-2-1 berbantuan refutation text untuk mereduksi miskonsepsi siswa pada materi fluida statis di SMA Negeri 1 Teluk Keramat. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 1  yang dipilih dengan teknik intact group random sampling. Tes diagnostik yang terdiri dari 18 soal pilihan ganda dengan alasan terbuka digunakan sebagai instrumen penelitian untuk mengetahui konsepsi siswa. Berdasarkan hasil, jumlah miskonsepsi siswa tertinggi saat pretest (100%) dan posttest (20,51%) yaitu pada konsep gaya apung. Rata-rata penurunan jumlah miskonsepsi siswa tiap konsep adalah 82,56%. Konsepsi siswa berubah secara signifikan (  51,16;  1;  0,05) sesudah diberikan pembelajaran remediasi. Siswa memperoleh rata-rata gain  0,82 (tergolong tinggi). Strategi membaca 3-2-1 berbantuan refutation text diharapkan dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif kegiatan remediasi untuk memperbaiki miskonsepsi yang siswa alami. Kata Kunci: Miskonsepsi, remediasi, strategi 3-2-1, refutation text, fluida statis Abstract: This pre-experimental research was aimed to investigate the use of 3-2-1 reading strategy assisted by refutation text to reduce students? misconceptions on subtopic static fluid in SMA Negeri 1 Teluk Keramat. Sample of this research was students from XI IPA 1 class  who choosen by intact group random sampling technique. Diagnostic test which consist of 18 multiple choice question with open reasoning was used as research instrument to asses students conceptions. Based on the results, the highest students? misconceptions in pretest (100%) and posttest (20,51%) was that the concept of buoyant force.  The average decrease of misconceptions for each concepts were 82,56%. Students? conceptions had changed statistically significant  after the instruction. Students achieved average normalized gain  0,82 (relatively high). The 3-2-1 reading strategy assisted by refutation text is expected to be used as an alternative remediation activities to overcome the misconceptions that experienced by students. Abstract

AbstractThis research was aimed to investigate the effectiveness of CLIS learning model with Mind Map to remediate student’s misconception on ‘reflection of light’ for grade VIII students of MTsN 2 Pontianak. The method used in this research was pre-experimenal design with one group pre test Post-test design. The tool of data collection was reasonable mutiple choice test with three answer choices. The sample of this research was 37 students of VIII J class, the sample was chosen using Intact group technique. The average range of students misconception in pre test was 93.3% and in post test was 24%. The average range decreases 69.9% after the treatment. Technique of data analysis using McNemar test showed x2count (97.01) > x2table (3.84). There was conceptual changes significantly after the remediation using CLIS model learning with Mind Map in the material ‘reflection of light’. The effectiveness of remediation obtained from proportion average value where was 0.71 (high). Therefore, teachers suggested to used CLIS learning model as alternative learning technique in order to straighten out students misconception in the material ‘reflection of light’.Keywords: Misconception, CLIS, Mind Map, Reflection of Light

Abstract

AbstractThe aims of this research was determined the effect of integrated remediation misconception in fluid static learning use model problem based learning to changing student misconception in grade XI SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Raya. The research used pre-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest design involving 24 students of class XI IPA 3 as a sample which selected by intact group. Diagnostic test which consist of 18 multiple choice question with open reasoning was used as research instrument to asses the number of students misconception. Based on the result, the average percentage decrease of misconception students for each students equal to 74,50%. Based on an analysis using price obtained McNemar test, χ2count (252,03) ˃χ2table (3,84) for df = 1 and α = 5% indicate the conception significant changes between before and after integrated remediation misconception in fluid static learning use model problem based learning. The effectiveness of integrated remediation misconception in fluid static learning use model problem based learning of DQM (The Decreasing of Quantity of the student that Misconception) equal to 74,63% in high category.Keywords: integrated remediation, misconception, model problem based learning, fluid static

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas model pembelajaran direct instruction berbantuan animasi PhET dalam meremediasi miskonsepsi pada materi fluida statis. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen (ekperimen semu) dengan rancangan Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X MIA SMA Negeri 7 Pontianak. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 31 orang siswa kelas X MIA 4 (kelas eksperimen) dan kelas 32 orang siswa X MIA 2 (kelas control). Analisis data menggunakan Uji z dengan taraf signifikansi 5%.. Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara penggunaan Direct Instruction berbantuan Animasi PhEt dengan model pembelajaran konvensional dalam meremediasi miskonsepsi pada materi fluida statis. Berdasarkan analisis data, diperoleh tingkat efektifitas sebesar 0,5559 tergolong sedang. Dengan demikian, penggunaan  model pembelajaran direct instrution berbantuan animasi PhET cukup efektif dalam meremediasi miskonsepsi pada materi fluida statis. Kata Kunci: Direct Instruction, PhET, Fluida Statis   Abstrak: This study was conducted to determine the effectiviness of Direct Instruction Model using PhET animation to reduce students misconception in fluid statics. This study was a quasy experimental with nonequivalent control group design. The population of this study was tenth grade students in SMA Negeri 7 Pontianak. The participants of this study were 31 students from X MIA 4 (experiment group) and 32 stundents from X MIA (control group). Z –test was used on this study with the significance is 5%. There was sifnificant diferences between Direct Instruction using PhET animation with conventional model to reduce student misconception in fluida statis. Result reveals that the effectiveness level is 0,5559 (medium). Direct Instruction using PhET animation is effective to reduce students misconception in fluid statics concept. Abstract

Absrtak : Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendapatkan informasi dan kejelasan yang aktual mengenai kinerja riil, serta faktor pendukung dan penghambat guru bersertifikat pendidik di SDN Gugus Dua Kecamatan Teluk Batang Kabupaten Kayong Utara dalam melaksanakan kinerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah lima orang guru bersertifikat profesi guru yang bertugas di SDN yang tergabung dalam Gugus II Kecamatan Teluk Batang Kabupaten Kayong Utara. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tahap-tahap orientasi, tahap eksplorasi, dan tahap member check. Pengecekan keabsahan temuan dilakukan melalui teknik triangulasi data. Hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa kinerja guru bersertifikat pendidik di SDN Gugus Dua Kecamatan Teluk Batang Kabupaten Kayong Utara cukup baik.   Kata Kunci: Kinerja Guru, Guru bersertifikat pendidik.   Abstract: The purpose of this research is to obtain information and actual clarity about the real performance, the challenges and obstacles of certified teacher in SDN Gugus Dua Kecamatan Teluk Batang Kabupaten Kayong Utara in implementing performance. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach. The source of data in this study were five certified teachers who served in SDN Gugus Dua Kecamatan Teluk Batang Kabupaten Kayong Utara. Data collected through the stages of orientation, exploration stage, and the stage member check. The validity of the finding datas checked ​​through data triangulation technique. The results of the study concluded the performance of certified teacher in SDN Gugus Dua Kecamatan Teluk Batang Kabupaten Kayong Utara were good enough. Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilakukan untuk memperoleh gambaran obyektif dan akurat terkait prestasi akademik ditinjau dari jalur masuk (SNMPTN, SBMPTN, dan Mandiri) dan program kuliah (S-1 Reguler dan Percepatan APK)  mahasiswa jurusan Pendidikan MIPA FKIP di Universitas Tanjungpura Pontianak.  Metode dan bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif-komparasional dan deskriptif-korelasional. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 620 mahasiswa diambil menggunakan proportioned stratified random sampling. Data berbentuk Indeks Prestasi Kumulatif (IPK) dan Lama (tahun) Studi Mahasiswa dikumpulkan menggunakan teknik dokumenter (bersumber dari SIAKAD Biro Administrasi Akademik dan Kemahasiswaan Universitas Tanjungpura.Berdasarkan analisis data, secara deskriptif diperoleh temuan bahwa prestasi akademik (IPK) mahasiswa lulusan (wisudawan 5 tahun akhir) jurusan PMIPA FKIP Universitas Tanjungpura Pontianak adalah 3,29 (termasuk kategori sangat memuaskan) dan rata-rata lama studi 4,79 tahun. Beberapa temuan lainnya adalah sebagai berikut: (1) Ada perbedaan (signifikan) prestasi akademik (IPK) mahasiswa lulusan jurusan PMIPA ditinjau dari jalur masuk (p ? 0,05). Tetapi, bila ditinjau dari program kuliah, perbedaan prestasi akademik mahasiswa tersebut tidak signifikan (p ? 0,05); (2) Ada perbedaan (signifikan) lama studi mahasiswa ditinjau dari jalur masuk dan program kuliah (p ? 0,05); Masa Studi mahasiswa Program S-1 Reguler lebih lama daripada masa studi mahasiswa Program S-1 Percepatan APK (Nonreguler); (3) Ada interaksi antara faktor jalur masuk dan program kuliah dalam mempengaruhi prestasi akademik dan lama studi mahasiswa; dan (4) Ada hubungan negatif cukup kuat dan signifikan antara prestasi akademik dan lama studi mahasiswa ( r = -0,536,  p ? 0,05).            Sejalan dengan temuan penelitian di atas, kepada pimpinan fakultas di FKIP Untan  direkomendasikan, antara lain. memperbaiki pangkalan data (data-base) mahasiswa dan menerjemahkannya sebagai salah satu masukan dalam proses perencanaan program pengelolaan insitusi yang terkait Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi. Kata Kunci :  analisis prestasi akademik, lama studi,  jalur masuk, program kuliah
