Abstract

This article will describe the process of developing negotiation text material based on Alight Motion video media in class X IPS at SMA Negeri 7 Medan. The research was conducted using the Research & Development (R&D) approach with the method developed by Borg and Garl which was modified by Sugiyono. In the research, several stages were carried out, namely: a) potential and problems, b) data collection, c) product design, d) product validation, and e) product revision. The results showed that based on material expert validation, an average percentage of 88% was obtained and media experts obtained an average percentage of 90% and were included in the very good category. Therefore, overall it can be said that the feasibility of the product is in the very good category. The product of developing negotiation text material based on Alight Motion video media is in the form of a video with a duration of 10 minutes and 13 seconds which presents the main points of the material being taught as well as additional material for students related to negotiation texts such as understanding negotiation texts, negotiating text structures, linguistic rules of negotiation texts, how to identify persuasive sentences in the negotiating text, and write the negotiation text.Keywords: Alight Motion; media; negotiation textAbstrakArtikel ini akan mendeskripsikan  proses pengembangan materi teks negosiasi berbasis media video Alight Motion di kelas X IPS SMA Negeri 7 Medan. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan Research & Development (R&D) dengan metode yang dikembangkan oleh Borg dan Garl yang dimodifikasi oleh Sugiyono. Dalam penelitian, dilakukan beberapa tahap, yakni: a) potensi dan masalah, b) pengumpulan data, c) desain produk, d) validasi produk, e) revisi produk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan validasi ahli materi diperoleh rata-rata persentase 88% dan ahli media diperoleh rata-rata persentase 90% dan masuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Oleh karena itu, secara keseluruhan dapat dikatakan secara kelayakan produk berada dalam kategori sangat baik. Produk pengembangan materi teks negosiasi berbasis media video Alight Motion berupa video berdurasi 10 menit 13 detik yang menyajikan pokok-pokok materi yang tengah diajarkan serta sebagai materi tambahan siswa terkait teks negosiasi seperti: pengertian teks negosiasi, struktur teks negosiasi, kaidah kebahasaan teks negosiasi, cara mengindentifikasi kalimat persuasif dalam teks negosiasi, dan menuliskan teks negosiasi. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan tradisi lisan berbalas pantun dan makna yang terkandung dalam pantun yang dituturkan pada upacara pernikahan masyarakat Aceh Tamiang di Kota Kuala Simpang. Penelitian ini memberikan informasi dan gambaran tentang situasi tradisi berbalas pantun di Kota Kuala Simpang dan bagaimana pemahaman masyarakat sekitar saat ini tentang tradisi tersebut, serta bagaimana bentuk makna pantun secara leksikal dan kontekstual. Sumber data pada penelitian ini adalah hasil wawancara dengan masyarakat yang bermukim di Kota Kuala Simpang serta video dokumentasi pelaksanaan tradisi berbalas pantun pada upacara pernikahan suku Aceh Tamiang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah wawancara yang menggunakan alat bantu media perekam dan video dokumentasi upacara pernikahan Aceh Tamiang. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu, tradisi berbalas pantun masih digunakan oleh sebagian besar masyarakat Aceh Tamiang di Kota Kuala Simpang, namun pemahaman masyarakatnya mulai berkurang. Dari total 21 jumlah pantun, 19 diantaranya memiliki persamaan makna secara leksikal dan kontekstual pada bagian isi pantun, sedangkan 2 pantun lainnya terdapat leksikal yang maknanya tidak bersesuaian dengan makna secara kontekstual, yaitu pantun nomor 14 dan 18. Sedangkan keseluruhan jumlah bagian sampiran pantun tidak dapat dimaknai secara kontekstual, karena hanya sebagai pelengkap penyesuaian sajak untuk bagian isi pantun. Kata Kunci : Makna, Pantun, UpacaraPernikahan, Aceh Tamiang

Abstract

 AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan kesantunan berbahasa yang terdapat dalam tuturan kartun animasi “Tekotok” dan (2) mendeskripsikan pelanggaran kesantunan berbahasa yang terdapat dalam tuturan kartun animasi “Tekotok”. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah tuturan pada 30 video kartun animasi di channel Youtube “Tekotok” dengan jumlah viewers terbanyak. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah human instrument, yakni peneliti yang berperan penting dalam penelitian. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan penggunaan kesantunan berbahasa dalam kartun animasi “Tekotok” berjumlah 108, Kesantunan berbahasa tersebut terdiri atas 29 maksim kebijaksanaan, 15 maksim kedermawanan, 8 maksim penghargaan, 14 maksim kesederhanaan, 33 maksim kesepakatan dan 9 maksim kesimpatisan. Sedangkan jumlah pelanggaran (penyimpangan) kesantunan berbahasa pada kartun animasi “Tekotok” yaitu 245 tuturan, Pelanggaran kesantunan berbahasa tersebut terdiri atas 65 pelanggaran maksim kebijaksanaan, 18 pelanggaran maksim kedermawanan, 84 pelanggaran maksim penghargaan, 15 pelanggaran maksim kesederhanaan, 44 pelanggaran maksim kesepakatan dan 19 pelanggaran maksim kesimpatisan. Penting adanya kesadaran masyarakat akan penggunaan kesantunan berbahasa di kehidupan sehari-hari, sebab kesantunan berbahasa berperan terhadap kualitas berbahasa menjadi lebih baik.Kata kunci: kesantunan berbahasa, pelanggaran, kartun animasi

Abstract

Abstrak Analisis ini merupakan analisis yang berguna memperdalam ilmu Psikolinguistik dalam analisis dengan sasaran subjek yaitu anak Sekolah Dasar yang berada di wilayah etnis Mandailing yaitu Kec. NA IX-X, Kab. Labuhan Batu Utara, Sumatera Utara. Fokus penelitian bertujuan  untuk memperoleh hasil analisis pemerolehan bahasa terhadap anak Sekolah Dasar di lingkungan etnis Btak Mandailing. Rumusan masalah yang diajukan adalah bagaimana bahasa Indonesia itu diperoleh pada anak yang penggunaan bahasa sehari-harinya adalah bahasa daerah. Penelitian termasuk kedalam jenis deskriptif kualitatif yang kerap digunakan untuk menganalisis kejadian, fenomena, atau keadaan secara sosial. Kualitatif adalah penelitian yang yang bermaksud untuka memahami fenomena yang dialami oleh subjek penelitian secara holistic dan dengan cara deskripsi dalam bentuk kata-kata dan bahasa.  Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi langsung kepada penutur bahasa yang menjadi subjek penelitian. Abstract

This research and development is to find out the product development process and feasibility, as well as to find out the effectiveness of the drama material development product using the Benime application for class XI students at SMA Negeri 1 Hamparan Perak. The process of developing drama material uses the Benime application in the form of audiovisual teaching materials using the stages of the R&D method by Borg and Gall with 8 research stages covering 1) potential and problems, 2) data collection, 3) product design, 4) design validation, 5) design revision, 6) small-scale trials, 7) product revisions, and 8) mass production. From the validation results obtained a score calculation from material experts of 82% very good "and media experts of 97% "very good". The results of the validation assessment of product feasibility have very good quality to use. one group pretest-posttest design 20 multiple-choice test questions. Data analysis used the Normalized Gain Test. The results showed that the total pretest score of all students was 1760 and the total posttest score of all students was 2485. The results were processed using the formula N-Gain and achieved a value of 0.58 with the interpretation of "Medium" this result there is a significant increase in student achievement by using Benime-based teaching materials in class XI students.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) describe the process of developing persuasive text teaching materials for class VIII students and (2) describe the feasibility of teaching persuasive texts for class VIII students. This type of research is research and development using the Borg and Gall model. as for the stages of research and development of persuasive text teaching materials through the stages of potential and problem analysis, data collection, product design, design validation, and revisions modified by Sugiyono to the fifth stage. The research sample was 30 class VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Sibolangit using the Purposive Sample technique. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The research instrument is material expert validation using Likert. Analysis of research data using descriptive qualitative study. The results of material expert validation obtained an overall percentage score of 83%, including the "very good" criteria, for content 84%, presentation 85%, language 83%, and conceptual assessment 80%. Media experts received an overall score of 83% for the media aspect, including the "excellent" criteria. Based on the research data analysis, we can conclude that the persuasive text teaching materials for class VIII students are "appropriate" to be used as supporting teaching materials in the learning process. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the results of implementing the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) model on students' ability to write negotiating texts. The method used in this research is an experiment with one group pretest-posttest. The sample of this study was students of class X Science and Social Sciences at SMA Al Washliyah Pasar Senen. The data in this study were obtained through documentation, interviews and tests. Based on the results of this study, the results showed that the ability of students in writing negotiating texts that received the application of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) model increased. The results of the pre-test showed that the average student score was 63, as many as 37.5% or nine students who completed and 62.5% or 15 students who did not complete. While the results of the post test showed that the average student score was 79, as many as 95.83% or 23 students and 4.17% or 1 student who did not complete. So, there is an increase in the ability to write negotiating texts for class X SMA Al Washliyah Pasar Senen by applying the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) model.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the ability to examine the elements and language rules of students' drama texts is still low, students' lack of interest in studying drama texts, the use of learning models that are less attractive and monotonous, the learning process that takes place still uses a teacher-centered model and low student scores, average The average obtained by students is 65. The purpose of this research is as follows. 1) To analyze the elements and language rules of drama texts for class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Hamparan Perak before using the Make a Match learning model. 2) To analyze the ability to examine the elements and language rules of drama text for class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Hamparan Perak for the 2022/2023 Academic Year after using the Make a Match learning model. This type of research is experimental research with a quantitative approach. The design in the research used is the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design, in this design there is a Pretest before being given treatment and a Posttest after being given treatment. The research results at the time of the pretest obtained an average of 63, and entered into the sufficient category. While the results of the posttest research obtained an average value of 79.8 and included in the good category. It can be concluded that class VIII students of SMPN 1 Hamparan Perak are able to examine the elements and language rules of drama texts using the Make a Match model.

Abstract

This research aims to develop teaching materials for fable texts in the form of videos with the help of CapCut Video Editing media for class VII SMP. It is hoped that this teaching material will be able to help students carry out the teaching and learning process in class. This research is development research (RnD) which uses Borg and Gall research procedures. The product developed from this research is fable text teaching material in the form of video. The subjects of this development research include material expert validators, media expert validators, and students of class VII 1 of SMP Negeri 6 Percut Sei Tuan. Data collection techniques used include interviews with subject teachers and questionnaires that will be used to determine student needs and validate the feasibility of the product being developed. The research instruments used were student needs questionnaire sheets, material expert validation, media experts. The results of this research show that the product developed from this research, namely fable text teaching materials in the form of videos assisted by CapCut Video Editing media for class VII SMP, is already in very good qualifications with scores from material expert validators of 85%, media expert validators of 91.5% and The response from class VII 1 students was 87.9%, with an average score of 88%, so it can be concluded that the product in this research is very suitable for use by students in learning. .

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat tahun 2022 ini berjudul Pembinaan Kemampuan Bercerita pada Guru TK Negeri Pembina 1 Medan. Mitra yang dilibatkan untuk bekerja sama adalah Kepala TK Negeri Pembina 1 Medan. Lokasi mitra tersebut berjarak lebih kurang 9 KM dari Universitas Negeri Medan. Permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra selama ini adalah: (1) kurangnya metode yang tepat untuk digunakan dalam mengajar anak usia dini; (2) kurangnya kemampuan guru TK Negeri Pembina 1 Medan dalam bercerita; (3) guru-guru TK Negeri Pembina 1 Medan kurang mengasah kemampuan bercerita dikarenakan tidak ada pembimbing yang lebih menguasi teori dan praktik bercerita. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah: (1) melakukan pembimbingan bahwa bercerita merupakan salah satu metode untuk mengajarkan anak usia dini; (2) melakukan pendampingan praktik kemampuan bercerita guru TK Negeri Pembina 1 Medan; (3) memberikan bimbingan dan pendampingan secara berkelanjutan. Adapun manfaat yang diperoleh mitra dari kegiatan ini adalah: (1) meningkatkan kemampuan bercerita guru TK Negeri Pembina 1 Medan agar dapat dijadikan metode dalam mengajar; (2) menarik perhatian anak didik dan memotivasi anak didik agar semangat belajar. Metode pendekatan yang digunakan untuk mengatasi permasalahan mitra adalah metode pendidikan, latihan dan pendampingan secara intens dan berkelanjutan. Hasil luaran riil dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dihasilkannya (1) Satu artikel ilmiah yang dipublikasikan melalui jurnal ber ISSN online dari seminar nasional; (2) Publikasi pada media massa cetak/online/repocitory Perguruan Tinggi; (3) Video Pembelajaran.
