Abstract

This research aims to analyze leadership style on employee performance through work discipline at PT. Padma Soode Indonesia. With three variables, namely leadership style as the independent variable (X), employee performance as the mediating variable (Z), and finally work discipline as the commitment variable (Y). This form of research examines quantitatively with primary and secondary data used in this investigation. Direct observation, interviews, and questionnaires were used to collect primary data. The author uses library data from documentation, reference books and research journals as secondary data. Processing of data that is ready to be obtained must be carried out using the SPSS version 26 program. This research stage includes a planning stage, an implementation stage, and a writing stage. The population of this study was 300 employees (respondents) in the stamping division, who used simple random sampling techniques to take samples from the existing population by means of simple random sampling, which can be done using a lottery model, namely all members of the population are given serial numbers, Then random numbers were taken with the number of numbers taken, according to the expected sample size and using the Slovin formula, the population was 171 employees (respondents). The results of this research show that leadership style influences employee performance in a statistically tested manner. Leadership style's influence on work discipline has not been statistically tested. Work discipline has a statistically proven effect on employee performance. Leadership style influences employee performance through statistically proven work discipline. Apart from that, the results of this research for the leadership style variable, advice that can be given is that leaders must communicate frequently with their subordinates in order to build trust and relationships, increase involvement and productivity, and generate feedback and ideas. For the work discipline variable, the advice that can be given is that employees must communicate with all team members in order to increase collaboration and cooperation, increase collaboration and cooperation, increase coordination and efficiency, build strong relationships. For employee performance variables, suggestions that can be given are that employees must meet the given deadlines in order to increase efficiency and productivity, build trust and credibility, improve the quality of work, support the achievement of goals.

Abstract

This research began with problems in mathematics learning in class V of the Permata Papua Integrated Islamic Elementary School where the majority of students experienced difficulty in understanding mathematics learning material, so that the learning outcomes obtained by students were low. Therefore, to improve student learning outcomes in Mathematics learning, the Problem Based Learning Model is applied to fifth grade students at Permata Papua Integrated Islamic Elementary School. This research is classroom action research (PTK) using a qualitative approach. This research was carried out on fifth grade students at Permata Papua Integrated Islamic Elementary School with a total of 24 students. The instruments used to collect data are observation sheets, documentation and learning outcomes tests. The data obtained in the research was analyzed using qualitative and quantitative data analysis. This research was carried out in two cycles and each cycle consisted of one meeting. The results of research from each cycle that has been carried out using the Problem Based Learning Model show an increase in both the learning process and student learning outcomes. This can be seen from students' achievements in learning, where in cycle I the average score obtained by students only reached 70.8% completeness with an average student score of 68.75, while in cycle II it showed a fairly high increase with completeness reaching 87.5% and the average student score is 82. Thus it can be concluded that the use of the Problem Based Learning Model can improve student learning outcomes in Mathematics learning in class V of the Permata Papua Integrated Islamic Elementary School.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to utilize the Markowitz Model to build an optimal portfolio of stocks on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019 to 2023, focusing on stocks in the IDX30 index. Based on information from KSEI, the public premium in capital market speculation continues to increase. On that basis, this study is important to be conducted in order to provide a reference for the public to invest. The IDX30 index was chosen as the subject of the study because it includes stocks with large market capitalization, high liquidity, and stable financial conditions. This study determines the optimal fund allocation for each stock and examines stocks in the IDX30 index from 2019 to 2023 that are worthy of consideration for inclusion in the optimal portfolio. In this test, it produces four stocks that become the optimal portfolio with the most extreme profits, namely ADRO 16.12%, BBCA 65.97%, BBRI 4.13%, and ICBP 13.76% with a return of 1.01% and a risk of 0.22%. In contrast, the minimum risk consists of ADRO of 5.29%, BBCA of 26.14%, CPIN of 13.91%, ICBP of 16.17%, INDF of 8%, KLBF of 0.48%, TLKM of 13.47%, and UNVR of 16.55%, with a risk of 0.1% and an expected portfolio return of 0.11%.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of motivation on teacher performance through work discipline at Binakarya Mandiri Vocational School, Bekasi City. This research uses a quantitative type of research. There are two types of data used in this research, namely primary data and secondary data. Data is collected through preparing statements that will be submitted and answered by respondents in the form of a questionnaire. The population was all teachers at Binakarya Mandiri Vocational School, Bekasi City, totaling 100 teacher, and this research used a saturated sample. Then, the data that has been collected will be processed using the Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) program version 26. The conclusions of this research are as follows : 1. Motivation on teacher performance has an influence on Binakarya Mandiri Vocational School, Bekasi City. This states that a teacher who always attends teacher meetings at school is very important in carrying out his duties because of the support and development of teacher, so that teacher always provide examples to help students understand learning material, so motivation can improve teacher perfoemance. 2. Motivation towards work discipline has an influence on Binakarya Mandiri Vocational School, Bekasi City. This states that a teacher who always attends teacher meetings at school is very important in carrying out his duties because of the support and development of teacher so that teacher are always present on time at school and there is encouragement of teacher work enthusiasm and responsibility, so motivation can improve work discipline. 3. work discipline on teacher performance has an influence on Binakarya Mandiri Vocational School, Bekasi City. This states that a teacher is always present at school on time, so the teacher always provides examples to help students understand the learning material in order to achieve goals, so that work discipline can improve teacher performance. 4. The results of the path analysis test show that the total influence value is greater than the direct influence, so that work discipline can function as a mediating variable between motivation and teacher performance at Binakarya Mandiri Vocational School, Bekasi City.

Abstract

This research aims to find out whether Competency has an effect on Teacher Performance through Work Discipline. The method used in this research is a quantitative method. The population in this study were teachers at SMK Negeri 1 Cikarang Barat. Determining the sample in this study used a saturated sampling technique, namely the entire number filled in was used as a sample of 106 teachers. Data were analyzed using SPSS 26. The methods used were validity test, reliability test, normality test, t test, and path analysis test. The research results show that competence influences teacher performance, competency influences work discipline, work discipline influences teacher performance. The results of the path analysis test show that competency influences teacher performance through work discipline at SMK Negeri 1 Cikarang Barat.

Abstract

This research aims to measure the influence of leadership style and work motivation on employee performance at the Denmabesad Damkar Unit. This research was conducted using descriptive quantitative methods. The number of samples used in this research was 100 respondents and processed the results of the respondent data using saturated samples with the Classical Assumption Test method. And Hypothesis Testing T Test, F Test. The software used in this research uses IBM SPSS 26. The results of this research show that the T X1 test on Y has a significance value of 0.01 < 0.05. Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that there is an influence of leadership style on employee performance in the Denmabesad firefighting unit that (1) leadership style has a significant effect on employee performance in the Denmabesad firefighting unit, (2) work motivation has a significant effect on employee performance in the Denmabesad firefighting unit, ( 3) Leadership Style and Work Motivation together have a simultaneous effect on Employee Performance at the Denmabesad Fire Department Unit.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the Non-Physical Work Environment affects Employee Performance through Communication. The method used in this research is quantitative method. Data analysis using Smart PLS 3.0. The analysis methods used are descriptive analysis, validity test, reliability test, r-square test, q-square test and hypothesis testing. The results showed that the non-physical work environment had a positive and significant effect on communication by 83%. Communication has a positive and significant effect on employee performance by 79%. The non-physical work environment has no effect on employee performance. The non-physical work environment on employee performance through communication has a positive and significant effect of 66.5% and the remaining 33.5% is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

This research aims to measure the direct and indirect influence of competence on employee performance through work discipline. This research uses quantitative research methods with the subjects being employees of the North Tambun District Office. The population in this study was 43 employees and the sample size was 43 respondents using the saturated sampling technique formula. The design used in this research is hypothesis testing using the statistical tool SPSS version 26. The results of the research show that competence has no effect on employee performance with a t value of 1.411 > 2.01954, competence has an effect on work discipline with a t value of 3.983 > 2.01954, work discipline has an effect on employee performance with a t value of 5.627 > 2.01954, and the indirect influence of competence on employee performance through work discipline has an effect with a total effect value greater than the direct effect of 0.563 > 0.215.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of compensation, job satisfaction, and work culture on employee performance through work motivation as an intervening variable at Bank XYZ. The research method used a saturated sample, where the population under study was all employees of Bank XYZ with a total of 120 respondents. Statistical analysis was conducted using Smart PLS 3.2 software and the results are as follows: 1) Compensation has a positive and significant effect on work motivation with a p-Value of 0.002. 2) Compensation has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance with a p-Value of 0.000. 3) Job Satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on Work Motivation with a p-Value of 0.000. 4) Job Satisfaction does not have a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance with a p-Value of 0.210. 5) Work Culture has a positive and significant effect on Work Motivation with a p-Value of 0.006. 6) Work Culture has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance with a p-Value of 0.003. 7) Work Motivation has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance with a p-Value of 0.005. As for the indirect hypotheses: 8) Compensation on Employee Performance through the mediation of Work Motivation obtains a p-Value of 0.037. 9) Job Satisfaction on Employee Performance through the mediation of Work Motivation obtains a p-Value of 0.015. 10) Work Culture on Employee Performance through the mediation of Work Motivation obtains a p-Value of 0.050.
