Abstract

Pembelajaran bahasa di Sekolah Dasar (SD) saat ini menghadapi tantangan ganda: kebutuhan akan transformasi digital dan ancaman lunturnya identitas budaya lokal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan desain pembelajaran bahasa materi teks naratif di SD yang mengintegrasikan pendekatan Digital-Etnopedagogi untuk mendukung konsep deep learning dan meningkatkan literasi budaya siswa. Dengan menggunakan metode studi pustaka (library research), penelitian ini menganalisis dokumen literatur terkait pedagogi digital, teori multimodal, serta inventarisasi kearifan lokal Kalimantan Tengah. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat tujuh cerita rakyat Kalimantan Tengah yang memiliki struktur naratif dan nilai filosofis kuat untuk dijadikan materi ajar, yaitu Asal-Usul Pulau Telo, Asal Usul Kota Kapuas, Kisah Demung Silam dan Ikan Belida, Asal Usul Kota Pangkalanbun, Legenda Telaga Putri Tujuh, Asal Usul Kota Sampit, dan Asal Usul Kampung Pahandut; (2) integrasi digital-etnopedagogi dilakukan melalui pengembangan materi multimodal (audio, visual, dan interaktif) yang mampu mengubah teks statis menjadi pengalaman belajar yang imersif. Simpulan penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa penggunaan teknologi digital yang berakar pada etnopedagogi dapat menciptakan ekosistem pembelajaran bahasa yang menyenangkan dan bermakna (deep learning), sekaligus menjadi sarana pelestarian nilai-nilai budaya daerah bagi generasi digital native.

Abstract

The rapid development of artificial intelligence and translation technologies has transformed the translation landscape and raised questions about the future relevance and sustainability of the translator profession. As AI-assisted translation tools become increasingly embedded in language practices, understanding how future language professionals perceive this profession becomes important. This study explores English Education students’ perceptions of the translator profession in the era of AI-assisted translation, focusing on familiarity, interest, perceived work prospects, and technological integration. Using a convergent parallel mixed-methods design, data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 30 English Education students selected through cluster sampling from a translation-related course at one of universities in Palangka Raya. Quantitative data from closed-ended items were summarized using descriptive statistics, while qualitative responses were analyzed thematically to identify recurring patterns in students’ perceptions. The findings indicate that most students are familiar with the translator profession mainly through academic exposure and translated media rather than direct professional experience. Students generally express positive but cautious interest, acknowledging the linguistic demands and professional responsibilities involved. Artificial intelligence is largely viewed as a supportive tool that improves efficiency but does not replace human judgment, cultural sensitivity, or contextual understanding. These findings contribute to translator education and AI-related translation studies by highlighting the importance of integrating technological awareness and professional orientation in preparing students for AI-assisted translation practices.

Abstract

Reading is one of the main skills that must be possessed by students in order to be successful in learning English as a foreign language. Meanwhile, motivation is very much needed in English learning because motivation is one of the determinant factors of student to succeed. The relationship of reading and motivation is two coin-sides that encourage anyone to read or not to read. The aim of making this study is to determine the relationship between students' reading motivation and reading comprehension. This study takes the setting of students who learn English as a foreign language at a state university in Palangka Raya--Indonesia during one month and half by selecting 36 college students with an age range between 19-21 years covered by 22 females and 14 males. This study used a correlational research design. The result shows that there is a positive correlation between students’ reading motivation and their reading comprehension which means the more motivated students in reading the more increased their comprehension in reading the texts.

Abstract

Peternakan ayam petelur memerlukan sistem informasi yang dapat mengelola data secara terstruktur guna meningkatkan efisiensi operasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan sistem manajemen informasi berbasis web untuk peternakan ayam petelur, dengan studi kasus pada PO. Kandang Ayam Petelur di Sukorejo, Bangil, Kabupaten Pasuruan. Sistem ini dikembangkan menggunakan metode waterfall, dengan memanfaatkan PHP sebagai bahasa pemrograman dan MySQL sebagai basis data. Data yang dikelola mencakup stok pakan, populasi ayam, produksi telur, dan catatan penjualan. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini mampu menyajikan informasi secara akurat serta mempermudah proses pencatatan dan pelaporan. Dengan adanya sistem ini, peternak dapat memantau kondisi peternakan secara real-time dan mengambil keputusan dengan lebih cepat dan tepat. Diharapkan sistem ini dapat meningkatkan efisiensi kerja dan mengurangi kesalahan yang umum terjadi pada pencatatan data secara manual. Layer poultry farms require an information system that can manage data in a structured manner to improve operational efficiency. This study aims to design and develop a web-based information management system for a layer poultry farm, with a case study at PO. Kandang Ayam Petelur in Sukorejo, Bangil, Pasuruan Regency. The system was developed using the waterfall method, utilizing PHP as the programming language and MySQL as the database. The managed data includes feed stock, chicken population, egg production, and sales records. The testing results show that the system can present accurate information and simplify the recording and reporting processes. With this system, farmers can monitor farm conditions in real time and make faster and more precise decisions. It is expected that the system will improve work efficiency and reduce errors commonly found in manual data recording.
