Abstract

In the dynamics of Islamic education institutions, there must be turmoil or conflict, both individual conflicts and group conflicts. Admittedly or not, Islamic education institutions, especially Islamic boarding schools and madrasah, have a high probability of conflict compared to other educational institutions. From this assumption, this paper aims to analyze the role of conflict management in resolving conflicts that occur within the scope of Islamic education institutions. Based on the study of theory, it can be concluded that conflict management is very central in developing conflicts in Islamic boarding schools and madrasah educational institutions as a way to develop Islamic education institutions for the better. Based on that statement, the main concern in reaching conflict is that conflict cannot be avoided. Therefore, controlling conflict becomes a necessity in order to achieve goals in Islamic education institutions.

Abstract

The effectiveness of the implementation of the education system in schools is influenced by the institutional structure and organizational behavior factors. This research aims to theoretically examine the fulfillment of organizational psychology aspects effectively so as to form a conceptual model of continuing education organizational development. This type of qualitative research is literature type. Data were collected through primary sources in the form of organizational behavior concept books and other relevant research. The results showed five stages before realizing an effective organization, namely: (1) optimizing the role of managers; (2) conduct a strategic needs assessment; (3) implementation of educational structure management; (4) make behavior as a system of organizing process; and (5) creating, maintaining and developing cooperation as a network. Several efforts in creating an effective organization are through the implementation of the organic organization concept -providing more flexibility to innovate-.

Abstract

Studi Green Pesantren merupakan sebuah pola dalam mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai Islam dengan prinsip keberlanjutan lingkungan, menjadikannya model pendidikan berbasis agama yang relevan dalam menghadapi krisis iklim global. Meskipun telah muncul berbagai inisiatif di lapangan, belum ada kajian yang secara komprehensif memetakan lanskap penelitian Green Pesantren dalam rentang waktu tahun 2000–2025. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi tren publikasi, kolaborasi penulis, dan tema utama riset Green Pesantren pada periode 2000-2025. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif berbasis bibliometric analysis, data dikumpulkan dari basis database Scopus dan Google Schoolar dengan kata kunci terkait dan dianalisis menggunakan perangkat lunak VOSviewer dan Publish or Perish (PoP). Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan publikasi dalam lima tahun terakhir (2020–2025), dengan pergeseran tema penelitian dari kesadaran ekologis menuju implementasi program dan evaluasi kelembagaan. Sebagian besar penelitian berasal dari Indonesia, yang menunjukkan bahwa fenomena Green Pesantren berakar kuat pada kearifan lokal Indonesia, namun juga memiliki relevansi global sebagai model pendidikan Islam berbasis lingkungan. Pemetaan tematik mengungkap tiga klaster utama: (1) Internalisasi nilai dan kesadaran lingkungan, (2) Landasan teologis Islam dan integrasi pendidikan, serta (3) Manajemen lingkungan dan implementasi praktis. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa Green Pesantren merepresentasikan paradigma pendidikan transformatif yang menjembatani spiritualitas dan keberlanjutan, serta menekankan pentingnya kolaborasi internasional, inovasi kurikulum, dan dukungan kebijakan untuk memperkuat perannya sebagai model pendidikan Islam berkelanjutan di tingkat global.

Abstract

Abstract Sustainable issues are complex and intertwined with aspects of education, necessitating the development of design processes that promote innovation and learning. The learner organization is one of educational institutions' governance innovations that reflects adaptive roles in the face of change challenges. The study's goal is to develop the concept of a learner organization (learning organization) into a sustainable learner organization. Top management has the ability to greatly influence management innovation due to its prominent role in the organization. The purpose of this study is to examine the five fundamental dimensions of a learning organization (LO) in the context of educational sustainability. Qualitative research employing grounded method techniques. According to research, the following characteristics of educational organizations are related to learner organizations: (1) learning leadership caderization systems; (2) creation of learning structures; (3) model of holocracy work; (4) formation of individual behavior in the presence of learning opportunities; and (5) learning culture in the context of school organization.   Keywords: Learning Organization; Organizational Innovation; Educational Institution Sustainability;

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Manajemen Berbasis Sekolah dan Motivasi Kerja terhadap Efektivitas Organisasi. Penelitian ini juga berguna bagi pengembangan Manajemen Pendidikan Islam khususnya berkaitan dengan teori manajemen dan teori perilaku organisasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan paradigma kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada guru di SMAN 1 Langsa Populasi berjumlah 40 dengan teknik analisis berganda. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket dengan skala likert. Analisis data menggunakan path analysis dimulai dengan statistik deksriptif, uji prasyarat analisis (normalitas, homogenitas, linearitas) dan di lanjutkan dengan uji hipotesis. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa terdapat: (1) Pengaruh langsung manajemen berbasis sekolah efektivitas organisasi adalah signifikan, berdasarkan tingkat signifikansi (Sig = 0.035 < 0.05) dan Rsquare 0.112 atau sebesar 11,2%; (2) Pengaruh langsung motivasi kerja terhadap efektivitas organisasi, dengan nilai signifikansi (Sig = 0.043 < 0.05) dan nilai Rsquare 0.104 atau sebesar 10.4%; (3) Pengaruh manajemen berbasis sekolah dan motivasi kerja terhadap efektivitas oganisasi dengan nilai Fhitung = 6.712 > Ftabel = 3.25 dan Rsquare 0.266 atau sebesar 26.6%. Implikasinya adalah manajemen berbasis sekolah yang efektif dan motivasi kerja yang baik, akan mempengaruhi semakin tinggi efektivitas organisasinya.

Abstract

Metaverse, the result of the evolution of augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) technology, has brought revolutionary changes in education by offering an interactive and immersive digital environment. The aim of this research is to investigate the impact of the Metaverse on the design and experience of virtual learning in an educational context. A systematic literature review approach was used to collect and analyze related articles from international databases such as Scopus, IEEE Xplore, and Google Scholar. The analysis results show that Metaverse allows educators to create more dynamic and interactive learning experiences, with the integration of various design models and pedagogical strategies. The implication of this research is that the use of the Metaverse in education has great potential to improve learning effectiveness, although its implementation requires a careful approach to overcome the associated technical and pedagogical challenges.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of academic supervision through the principal's instructional leadership in strengthening teachers' pedagogical competence based on religious values ​​at SMP Negeri 1 Lhoksukon. This study used a qualitative, descriptive approach. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation with the principal and several teachers as research informants. The results indicate that academic supervision is implemented systematically through program planning, learning observations, providing feedback, and follow-up coaching. The principal's instructional leadership plays a crucial role in directing, fostering, and evaluating the learning process, resulting in teachers improving their skills in developing learning materials, selecting varied methods, managing the classroom, and evaluating student learning outcomes to schools. Collaborative and ongoing academic supervision also supports the strengthening of religious values ​​in the learning process. Academic supervision through the principal's instructional leadership has been shown to contribute to improving teachers' pedagogical competence, learning quality, and religious culture in schools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh belum optimalnya penerapan manajemen mutu pendidikan, khususnya pada aspek pembelajaran sebagai indikator utama dalam penilaian akreditasi. Kondisi ini menunjukkan perlunya upaya yang lebih terarah dalam meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis strategi peningkatan mutu pembelajaran dalam mencapai akreditasi pesantren unggul di Al-Muslimun Lhoksukon. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, dengan informan kepala madrasah dan guru koordinator akreditasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan mutu pembelajaran dilakukan melalui penguatan kinerja guru, optimalisasi supervisi kepala madrasah, serta pemanfaatan teknologi pendidikan secara bertahap. Strategi tersebut mendorong terciptanya pembelajaran yang partisipatif, kolaboratif, dan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pencapaian akreditasi unggul tidak hanya ditentukan oleh pemenuhan administratif, tetapi juga oleh integrasi manajemen pembelajaran, kepemimpinan madrasah, dan teknologi pendidikan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of managerial supervision by the madrasah head to improve the performance of administrative staff. The type of research used is qualitative with descriptive survey techniques. The data presentation is done using comparative analysis. Data from research conducted at MAS Ihyaaussunnah Lhokseumawe City. The results showed that the implementation of managerial supervision of the madrasah head could improve the performance of administrative staff. One of the successes of implementing managerial supervision is that the madrasah head conducts Islamic-based digitalization supervision. The various innovations made by the madrasah head are also a form of transformation of the managerial supervision implementation system in improving the performance of administrative staff. Implementation is carried out through several stages of managerial supervision carried out having commitment, directive functions, administrative supervision, performance improvement, providing solutions and self-reflection. The performance implications generated through this research are the performance of administrative staff as facilitators of academic services and learning evaluation, facilitators of teacher and staff data collection on emis, facilitators of student data collection on emis and student attendance, facilitators of madrasah facilities and inventory, facilitators of budgeting madrasah needs and reports on the use of BOS funds and facilitators of archives and madrasah files.

Abstract

Academic stress among final-year students during thesis writing remains a persistent concern in higher education, yet the mechanism linking the supervisory relationship to student stress is still poorly understood. While supervision style and academic support are each assumed to influence stress, few studies have tested academic support as a mediating variable in this relationship. This study aims to analyze the effect of academic supervision style on academic stress and to examine the mediating role of academic support among final-year students. A quantitative survey design was employed, involving 150 final-year students of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training selected through simple random sampling. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed through Structural Equation Modeling based on Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) using SmartPLS, with bootstrapping to test direct and indirect effects. The results reveal that academic supervision style significantly influences academic support, whereas neither supervision style nor academic support significantly affects academic stress, either directly or through mediation, indicating that student stress is driven primarily by determinants beyond the supervisory relationship. These findings carry important implications: institutions should reposition academic support as a foundation for student autonomy and resilience within a transformative model of supervision, while addressing student stress through complementary interventions that target structural and intrapersonal pressures directly rather than relying on improved supervision alone.
