Abstract

Scientific literacy skills are very important for improving the learning process, especially in science lessons. The low scientific literacy abilities of elementary school students are the background for this research. This research aims to determine the effect of the scientific approach assisted by flipbook media on increasing students' scientific literacy skills and to determine the increase in scientific literacy of students who receive learning using the scientific approach assisted by flipbook media better than students who receive conventional learning. The research method used was quasi-experimental with a non-equivalent pretest-posttest control group design on the subject of energy changes. The research sample was class III elementary school, consisting of class III A as the experimental class and III B as the control class. The results of data analysis show that there is an influence of the scientific approach model assisted by flipbook media on students' scientific literacy skills of 56.1%. The results of the n-gain test show that the experimental class with the scientific approach assisted by digital flipbooks is at a medium interpretation of 0.4868. In contrast, the control class uses the model. Conventional learning is at a moderate interpretation of 0.3339, which means that students who receive science learning using a scientific approach model assisted by flipbook media are better than students who receive conventional learning.   Keywords: scientific literacy ability, flipbook media, scientific approach

Abstract

The Garut Regency Agriculture Office has a subsidized fertilizer distribution program, the amount of fertilizer distributed depends on the submission from the sub-district based on the area, then distributed in the disbursement period every 3 or 6 months. This program aims to help partner farmers or those recorded in the agriculture office to make plants included in the partner farmer program grow well. Based on the agricultural data owned, the subsidized fertilizer distribution program still cannot be improved, after monitoring or supervision activities on the data. Because the agriculture office only distributes fertilizers based on submissions from partner farmers, as well as the results of agricultural turnover in the form of nominal sales, making the data received cannot be evaluated whether the fertilizer distribution program is appropriate or not, and whether it meets the needs of farmers with a diversity of types of vegetables planted, which can provide good vegetable quality at harvest time and increase sales turnover. With the problems experienced by the Garut Regency Agriculture Office, a method is needed that can process agricultural data so that it can be one of the references in implementing the fertilizer distribution program from the agriculture office, to help partner farmers in fertilizing vegetable crops planted on land in the sub-districts planted, as well as policies that need to be evaluated from the characteristics of agricultural data that have been processed. The purpose of this research is to process agricultural data at the Garut Regency Agriculture Office into groups with their characteristics, by applying the K-Means algorithm. The research method is implemented with the Cross-Industry Standard Process for Data mining with the stages of Business understanding, Data understanding, Data Preparation, Modeling, Evaluation and Deployment. This study obtained clustering results with the characteristics of agricultural data based on clustering, the comparison data is on the land area of group 0 contains data with a land area below 20,183 m2, the amount of fertilizer below 404 sacks, and turnover below Rp 605,490,300, while Group 1 contains a land area above 64,875 m2, fertilizer above 1,298 sacks and turnover above Rp 1,946,262,600. The results of this study can be used as a reference for improvement in agricultural data with large land areas and the need for thousands of sacks of fertilizer use, such as divided into several groups, not only by one sub-district manager, but including the village government to manage the distribution of fertilizers because the land area, the amount of fertilizer and turnover is very high.

Abstract

Penyakit gigi termasuk gangguan kesehatan yang dapat berdampak sistemik, sehingga penanganannya memerlukan diagnosis yang tepat oleh tenaga medis profesional. Namun, keterbatasan jumlah pakar sering menjadi kendala dalam proses konsultasi dan diagnosis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem pakar berbasis web yang mampu melakukan diagnosis penyakit gigi menggunakan metode certainty factor sebagai teknik inferensi untuk menangani ketidakpastian. Sistem dirancang menggunakan metodologi Expert System Development Life Cycle (ESDLC) dan diuji menggunakan metode black-box testing. Hasil pengujian terhadap 10 data uji menunjukkan tingkat akurasi diagnosis sebesar 90%. Sistem ini diharapkan dapat menjadi alat bantu bagi tenaga medis dalam memberikan diagnosis awal penyakit gigi, khususnya saat dokter ahli tidak tersedia.

Abstract

Keamanan dokumen akademik pada sistem informasi sekolah merupakan aspek krusial untuk menjamin integritas dan keaslian data. Penelitian ini mengusulkan pengembangan modul tanda tangan digital berbasis superenkripsi RSA–ECDSA dengan fungsi hash SHA-512 pada sistem Buku Induk Nilai berbasis web. Metode pengembangan menggunakan Rapid Application Development (RAD) untuk menghasilkan prototipe cepat sesuai kebutuhan pengguna. Proses implementasi meliputi hashing dokumen menggunakan SHA-512, enkripsi hasil hash dengan RSA, penandatanganan menggunakan ECDSA, serta penyisipan tanda tangan digital dalam bentuk QR-Code ke dokumen ekspor. Pengujian dilakukan pada 30 sampel dokumen dengan variasi ukuran 10 KB–1 MB melalui pendekatan blackbox testing. Hasil uji menunjukkan tingkat keberhasilan verifikasi dokumen sebesar 100%, waktu rata-rata proses penandatanganan 1,25 detik, dan waktu verifikasi 0,98 detik. Sistem terbukti mampu mendeteksi perubahan sekecil 1 byte, menjaga integritas dokumen, dan memberikan tingkat keamanan setara 112–128 bit sesuai standar kriptografi modern. Temuan ini menegaskan efektivitas superenkripsi RSA–ECDSA dalam meningkatkan keamanan dokumen akademik serta menawarkan solusi yang efisien, portabel, dan dapat diverifikasi secara mandiri melalui QR-Code.

Abstract

Tanaman mawar merupakan salah satu komoditas unggulan dalam sektor agrowisata di Kabupaten Garut. Namun, budidaya tanaman ini menghadapi kendala serius akibat serangan penyakit yang dapat menurunkan kualitas dan kuantitas produksi. Selain itu, keterbatasan tenaga ahli dalam memberikan edukasi mengenai diagnosis penyakit menjadi tantangan tersendiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem pakar diagnosa penyakit tanaman mawar dengan pendekatan metode inferensi Forward Chaining dan Certainty Factor. Sistem ini diharapkan mampu membantu petani dan pelaku agrowisata dalam mengidentifikasi penyakit secara mandiri dan akurat berdasarkan gejala yang diamati. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengembangan sistem adalah Expert System Development Life Cycle (ESDLC) yang terdiri dari tahap assessment, knowledge acquisition, design, testing, documentation, dan maintenance. Pengetahuan dalam sistem diperoleh dari pakar tanaman mawar di UPTD BBH Cisurupan serta referensi ilmiah terkait. Sistem dibangun menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan basis data MySQL, dengan desain pemodelan berbasis UML. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu mendiagnosa 10 jenis penyakit tanaman mawar berdasarkan 25 gejala yang diinput pengguna, dengan output berupa nama penyakit, tingkat kepercayaan diagnosis, dan saran penanganan penyakit. Validasi oleh pakar menunjukkan tingkat akurasi sistem sebesar 96%, mendekati hasil diagnosis manual pakar. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa sistem pakar ini dapat menjadi alat bantu dalam menjaga kualitas tanaman mawar serta mendukung pengembangan agrowisata di Garut secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The roast level of coffee has a significant effect on its taste, aroma, and viscosity. However, it is often determined subjectively by roasters based on personal experience, especially among small and medium-sized coffee businesses. This study aims to design a web-based coffee roast level recommendation system using a Rule-Based System approach. The system was designed using the Waterfall method and implemented in PHP programming language with a MySQL database. The main attributes used in the system include coffee type, serving method, post-harvest process, and flavor profile. The roaster's knowledge is represented in 20 IF–THEN rules and executed using the Forward Chaining technique. The result of this research is a recommendation system that is able to provide consistent and objective advice on coffee roast levels, such as Light Roast, Medium Roast, and Dark Roast. This system is expected to help roasters or SME players improve the quality of coffee serving in a more standardized and efficient manner.

Abstract

The process of administering medication to patients requires timeliness and consistency to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes. In practice, many patients struggle to remember their medication schedules, particularly when treatment extends over a long period. Addressing this issue, the present study aims to develop an Android-based medication reminder application that assists patients in adhering to their treatment schedules while enabling healthcare providers to digitally monitor patient activity. The application was designed using a prototyping method, which emphasizes iterative system development based on user feedback. The development process was conducted in two phases. The first phase involved initial design and testing of core features, such as reminder notifications and patient medication intake reporting forms. The second phase focused on improvements based on user feedback, particularly the addition of a disease information feature that provides educational content about patient diagnoses following checkups, such as hypertension and tuberculosis. Testing was carried out using a black-box testing approach to ensure proper functionality, alongside feedback collection through interviews. The results showed that the application performed effectively; its features were usable by both patients and healthcare providers as intended, and the information displayed was considered helpful in enhancing patients’ understanding of their health conditions. Furthermore, the system contributed to improving patient adherence to medication regimens and facilitated continuous monitoring by healthcare providers.

Abstract

PT Usaha Garda Arta (UG Arta) Jakarta Branch currently still uses a manual system for cassette stock-taking, which results in the risk of data discrepancies, delays in reporting, and potential recording errors. The operational process begins with the creation of a cash replenishment request by the admin and scheduler to the bank, followed by the collection of cash by the Cash In Transit (CIT) team, sorting by the Cash Processing Center (CPC) team, and finally the replenishment of cash into Automated Teller Machine (ATM) cassettes by the Cash Replenishment (CR) team. This operational process requires team coordination and relies on manual recording, which makes it prone to errors. This research was conducted with the aim of designing a web-based stocktaking system to optimize the cassette stock management process at PT UG Arta's Jakarta Branch. This system is designed with features to input staff and officers, input cassette data, monitor cassette stock, global data and history to improve data accuracy, data recording activities, facilitate monitoring of goods in and out, and reduce manual processes. Therefore, this study is expected to make the stocktaking management process easily accessible to parties involved in the operational process. Additionally, this system is also expected to reduce the risk of recording and reporting errors, thereby improving company performance.

Abstract

Klinik Aster PKBI Garut merupakan salah satu fasilitas kesehatan yang masih aktif dalam memberikan layanan penanganan sekaligus pencegahan Infeksi Menular Seksual (IMS). Berdasarkan keterangan pakar, proses konsultasi di klinik ini membutuhkan waktu sekitar 40 menit untuk setiap pasien, sehingga kapasitas layanan hanya berkisar 9–10 pasien per hari atau sekitar 35–40 pasien per bulan. Kondisi tersebut mengakibatkan masih banyak pasien yang belum tertangani, padahal IMS memerlukan diagnosis dan penanganan yang cepat serta tepat. Penelitian yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk merancang media sistem pakar yang dapat membantu proses diagnosis awal IMS di Klinik Aster PKBI Garut. Sistem dikembangkan dengan menerapkan metode inferensi Forward Chaining dan Certainty Factor untuk menghasilkan diagnosis berdasarkan gejala yang dilaporkan pengguna, sekaligus memberikan tingkat keyakinan pada hasil diagnosis tersebut. Proses perancangan menggunakan pendekatan Rational Unified Process (RUP) dengan basis pengetahuan berupa data gejala lokal dari Klinik Aster PKBI Garut. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini berhasil memberikan diagnosis awal IMS secara mandiri serta memberikan rekomendasi penanganan awal yang relevan. Uji coba beta yang melibatkan pakar maupun pengguna menunjukkan hasil perancangan sistem ini tingkat akurasinya tinggi, mudah digunakan, dan layak dimanfaatkan sebagai alat bantu diagnosis dini. Penelitian ini memiliki keunggulan dalam pemanfaatan data lokal serta penerapan metode inferensi yang mampu menghasilkan nilai certainty secara lebih terukur. Implikasi penelitian ini mencakup peningkatan akses masyarakat terhadap deteksi dini IMS, efisiensi dalam waktu konsultasi medis, serta potensi integrasi sistem ke dalam layanan digital klinik. Kontribusi utama penelitian ini adalah menghadirkan sistem pakar yang tidak hanya bersifat edukatif dan interaktif, tetapi juga memberikan solusi praktis untuk mendukung pelayanan kesehatan berbasis teknologi

Abstract

This study aims to explore the meaning contained in the Tasya Farasya Approved label through Roland Barthes' semiotic approach. Data was collected through direct observation of the content published by Tasya Farasya on social media platforms and a literature review of related studies. This label does not only function as a visual complement but is part of the visual communication strategy used by Tasya Farasya, a well-known beauty influencer in Indonesia, to build a credible, authoritative, and convincing image for the products she endorses. This research is qualitative in nature and uses a semiotic analysis approach. Based on the results of denotative analysis, the label consists of visual elements such as the text "Tasya Farasya" and the word "Approved," an illustration of a face, a circular shape, a combination of purple and pastel yellow colors, and a star symbol. At the connotative level, these elements reflect symbolic meanings related to personal authority, exclusive value, and the representation of feminist beauty. Meanwhile, at the mythical level, these meanings undergo naturalization and form a collective belief that products bearing this label have guaranteed quality. This research contributes significantly to understanding how visual symbols in digital communication, especially in the beauty industry, can shape public perception and reinforce the digital consumption culture in Indonesia.
