Abstract

Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan mendorong pengenalan coding dan berpikir komputasi di sekolah dasar. Namun banyak guru yang belum memiliki pengalaman dalam mengajarkan coding dan masih menganggap bahwa coding hanya relevan untuk mata pelajaran informatika atau teknologi, padahal coding dapat diterapkan secara lintas mata pelajaran dengan pendekatan Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Mathematics (STEAM) yang lebih kontekstual. Di sisi lain, keterbatasan infrastruktur digital, khususnya di sekolah-sekolah negeri di Kabupaten Purwakarta menjadi kendala utama dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran coding. Sebagai solusinya, diselenggarakan lokakarya unplugged coding berbasis STEAM yang memungkinkan guru mengeksplorasi strategi pembelajaran berpikir komputasi tanpa bergantung pada perangkat elektronik. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi dengan peserta guru sekolah dasar di Kabupaten Purwakarta. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan teaching efficacy guru dalam mengajarkan coding melalui pembelajaran STEAM. Lokakarya ini diharapkan dapat memperkuat kompetensi profesional guru dalam menerapkan pembelajaran abad ke-21.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of time budget pressure and audit risk on audit quality, using a case study of a Public Accounting Firm (PAF) in Bandung. This study uses a quantitative approach with a causal-comparative design and survey method. A sample of 40 auditors was selected using a purposive sampling technique from 8 active FAFs in Bandung City. Data were collected through a closed questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results show that the time budget pressure variable has no significant effect on audit quality, while the audit risk variable has a significant positive effect on audit quality. Simultaneously, both variables have a significant effect on audit quality. This finding confirms that auditors tend to increase their thoroughness when facing high audit risk, but time pressure does not directly reduce work quality if supported by adequate systems and experience.

Abstract

Lung diseases are among the leading causes of death worldwide and require early, accurate diagnosis to minimize the risk of complications. In the digital era, developing artificial intelligence–based classification models has become a potential solution to support the diagnostic process, particularly for categorical data that represent symptoms such as coughing, shortness of breath, and smoking history. This study proposes a lung disease classification model using the K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN) algorithm with a simple categorical distance approach, namely the Hamming distance. The dataset used is imbalanced; therefore, data balancing was performed using the random oversampling method. Model evaluation was carried out using two schemes—data splitting and 10-fold cross-validation—by testing multiple values of parameter k. The best results were obtained at k = 7 with an accuracy of 94.58%, precision of 95.25%, recall of 94.39%, and an F1-score of 94.53%. These findings demonstrate that the combination of the K-NN algorithm, Hamming distance, and oversampling can produce high and stable classification performance for categorical datasets in lung disease prediction.

Abstract

Tourism destination information is often scattered across various unintegrated sources, making it difficult for visitors to obtain quick and accurate answers. This problem can be overcome by implementing chatbot technology that is capable of providing automated responses based on verified data. This study aims to implement a tourism information service chatbot using the open-source Flowise AI platform integrated with Google's Gemini Large Language Model (LLM). The system development method uses a waterfall approach, including analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance. Tourism information data is converted into vector representations through GoogleGenerativeAI Embeddings and stored in a vector store. The question and answer process is carried out using Conversational Retrieval QA Chain to generate relevant responses based on source documents. Testing results show that the chatbot is capable of providing fast, accurate, and appropriate answers based on available data, covering historical information, facilities, rates, cuisine, routes, accommodations, and tourism regulations. The contribution of this research is to provide an AI-based digital solution that facilitates access to tourism information, enhances user experience, and supports efficient tourism destination promotion.

Abstract

The ability to think creatively is one of the abilities that needs to be improved in 21st century learning. However, in reality elementary school students' creative thinking is still low, including in Natural and Social Sciences lessons, Social Sciences sub-material. This is because the learning model used to teach social studies material is still monotonous and lecture-based. Based on this, the aim of this research is to determine the effect of role playing models on improving students' creative thinking abilities in Natural and Social Sciences subjects, Social Sciences sub-material. The type of research used in this research is a quasi-experimental model with a non-equivalent control group design, namely conducting a pretest and posttest in the experimental class and control class. The subjects in this research were 52 students of class IV elementary school consisting of 26 students of class IV A and 26 students of class IV B. The results of this research concluded that the increase in creative thinking abilities of students who received learning using the role playing model was better than that of students who receive conventional learning and there is an influence of the role playing model of 51% on students' creative thinking abilities in terms of the results of simple linear regression analysis.

Abstract

Keterampilan proses sains sangat penting untuk dikembangkan dalam proses pembelajaran khususnya pada mata pelajaran IPA karena hal ini akan memberikan bekal bagi siswa untuk memecahkan permasalahan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Rendahnya keterampilan proses sains siswa sekolah dasar menjadi latar belakang penelitian ini. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model role playing berbantuan media giatorys terhadap peningkatan keterampilan proses sains siswa pada pembelajaran IPA dan IPA di sekolah dasar; dan untuk mengetahui apakah keterampilan proses sains siswa yang mendapat pembelajaran IPA dengan model role playing berbantuan media giatorys lebih baik dibandingkan siswa yang mendapat pembelajaran IPA dengan model pembelajaran Discovery. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu dengan jumlah subjek sebanyak 52 siswa. Diperoleh kesimpulan sebagai berikut: 1) Terdapat pengaruh pembelajaran yang menerapkan model role playing berbantuan media pendidikan terhadap peningkatan keterampilan proses sains siswa pada pembelajaran IPA dan IPA di sekolah dasar; 2) Terdapat peningkatan keterampilan proses sains siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran IPA dengan model role playing berbantuan media giatorys lebih baik dibandingkan siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran IPA dengan model pembelajaran Discovery.
