Abstract

This research is experimental research that aims to find out: a description of the usage platform AKSI (Advance Knowledge and Skills for Sustainable Growth in Indonesia) for learning and improving students' reading literacy. This type of research is called Quasi-Experimental Design using the design Nonequivalent Control Group. The sample in this study amounted to 63 people. Research data collection techniques used are observation, tests, and documentation. Data analysis techniques use descriptive and inferential techniques. The results of the descriptive analysis show that platform AKSI learning was carried out very well and student activity in the learning process was also very good. As for the student's reading literacy skills, the results of the posttest in the experimental class showed a fairly high category of reading literacy ability. Based on the results of inferential statistical analysis, P = 0.002 is smaller than α = 0.05. Based on this it can be concluded that there is an influence of platform learning from AKSI on increasing reading literacy for class IV UPT SPF SDN Unggulan Mongisidi 1 Makassar.

Abstract

Abstrak. ELPSA merupakan salah satu model pembelajaran matematika yang dapat membantu pengalaman anak dalam memahami konsep-konsep matematis. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian quasi-eksperimen yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran ELPSA (Experiences, Language, Pictures, Symbols, Application) berbasis virtual Classroom dalam Meningkatan Pemahaman Konsep Geometri Calon Guru Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan satu kelas sebagai kelas eksperimen dan satu kelas sebagai kelas kontrol. Model belajar yang yang digunakan adalah model belajar virtual calassroom yang mememadukan LMS dan Virtual Meeting Zoom. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi keterlaksanaan dan tes hasil belajar dalam bentuk online-form. Data hasil belajar siswa dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis inferensial. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Rata-rata skor hasil belajar (posttest) tentang pemahaman geometri mahasiswa calon Guru SD Prodi PGSD UNM Makassar yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran ELPSA mencapai 82,48 dari skor ideal 100 dengan standar deviasi 5,53. Peningkatan hasil belajar berada pada kategori minimal sedang dengan rata-rata mencapai 0,64 dari skor ideal 1, (2) Model Pembelajaran ELPSA berbasis Virtual Clasroom berpengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan pemahaman geometri mahasiswa calon Guru SD Prodi PGSD UNM Makassar.Kata Kunci: ELPSA, geometri, virtual classroom

Abstract

Siswa perlu memiliki kemampuan memperoleh, memilih dan mengolah informasi untuk bertahan pada keadaan yang selalu berubah dan penuh dengan persaingan. Penggunaan musik dalam media pembelajaran akan memberikan dampak  positif untuk proses pembelajaran karena musik merupakan salah satu cara untuk merangsang pikiran, sehingga siswa dapat menerima materi pelajaran dengan baik. Atas dasar itu, penulis mengangkat model pembelajaran quantum yang menggunakan media berupa musik instrumental klasik yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa. Adapun rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah (i) Apakah terdapat interaksi antara pembelajaran quantum dengan kemampuan awal siswa terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa?, (ii) Apakah hasil belajar matematika siswa yang mempunyai kemampuan awal tinggi dan diajarkan dengan pembelajaran quantum yang diiringi musik instrumental klasik lebih tinggi daripada tanpa diiringi musik instrumental klasik?, (iii) Apakah hasil belajar matematika siswa yang mempunyai kemampuan awal rendah dan diajarkan dengan pembelajaran quantum yang diringi musik instrumental klasik lebih rendah daripada tanpa diiringi musik instrumental klasik? Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan tekhnik pengumpulan data melalui instrument tes. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII A SMP Negeri 4 Watampone dan kelas VIII C siswa SMP Negeri 2 Watampone. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (i) secara keseluruhan komponen dari perangkat pembelajaran yang divalidasi termasuk dalam kategori “Valid” dan dapat digunakan dengan revisi kecil., (ii) hipotesis pertama terjadi interaksi antara kemampuan awal dengan pembelajaran quantum (iii) hipotesis kedua, siswa yang mempunyai kemampuan awal tinggi dan diajarkan dengan pembelajaran quantum yang diiringi musik instrumental klasik hasil belajarnya lebih tinggi dari pada tanpa diiringi musik instrumental klasik, (iv) hipotesis ketiga, siswa yang mempunyai kemampuan awal rendah dan diajarkan dengan pembelajaran quantum tanpa diiringi musik instrumental klasik hasil belajarnya lebih rendah daripada diiringi musik instrumental klasik

Abstract

This study examines the low learning outcomes of mathematics in fifth grade students of SD Inpres Maccini Baru, Tamalate District, Makassar City. The purpose of this study was to describe the application of the Problem Based Learning model to improve mathematics learning outcomes in fifth grade students of SD Inpres Maccini Baru, Tamalate District, Makassar City. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The type of research is classroom action research (CAR) which is carried out in 4 (four) stages in each cycle, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The focus of this research is the application of the Problem Based Learning model and student learning outcomes. The setting of this research is the fifth grade of SD Inpres Maccini Baru, Tamalate District, Makassar City, while the subject of this research is one class teacher and 24 students consisting of 13 female students and 11 male students. In this study, the researcher acts as a teacher and the class teacher acts as an observer. Data analysis techniques are qualitative and quantitative. The results showed that the teacher's teaching activities in the first cycle still showed a sufficient category and in the second cycle increased to a good category. Similarly, student learning activities in the first cycle were in the sufficient category and in the second cycle increased to a good category. Meanwhile, student learning outcomes in the first cycle were in the sufficient category and student learning outcomes in the second cycle increased to a good category. The conclusion of this study is that through the application of the Problem Based Learning model, the learning outcomes of mathematics in fifth grade students of SD Inpres Maccini Baru, Tamalate District, Makassar City have increased.

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research that aims to increase student motivation in science subjects of grade V students of SD Negeri 274 Mattirowalie through the application of the Word Square learning model. The subjects of this study were 19 grade V students. The research design used is cyclical or recycled research with four stages, namely, planning, implementing actions, observation and reflection. The data collection techniques used are observation, questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive, qualitative and quantitative. The results showed that there was an increase in students' motivation to learn science from 57.89% in the cycle to 84.21% in second cycle. The conclusion of this study is that the application of the Word Square learning model can increase the motivation to learn science of grade V students of SD Negeri 274 Mattirowalie.

Abstract

his type of research is research and development which aims to describe the development process of the integer arithmetic operations e-module, describe the quality of the e-module based on the level of validity, practicality and effectiveness, and show the specifications of the integer arithmetic operations e-module. The e-module development process refers to the ADDIE model which includes 5 stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation , and evaluation . The product trial respondents were students in class VII 2 MTs Makassar City with a total of 20 students. The research results show that the validator's assessment of the e-module and research instruments received an average score of 4.18 with valid criteria. The results of the questionnaire data analysis of teacher responses to the e-module obtained an average score of 1.89 with the criteria being fully implemented and the learning implementation observation sheet showed a score percentage of 91.7% so that the e-module was declared practical. The results of the analysis of student response questionnaire data showed very good criteria with a percentage of 95.6%, student activity sheets obtained a percentage of 91.8% with very positive criteria, and the learning achievement test reached 90%, so that the integer counting operation e-module declared effective. Referring to the analysis results obtained, it can be concluded that the integer calculation operations e-module can be used in learning activities.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini yaitu rendahnya hasil belajar Mata Pelajaran PKn pada  siswa kelas X Mipa 3. Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah Bagaimanakah proses penerapan model pembelajaran Student Facilitator And Explaining untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar mata pelajaran PKn pada  siswa kelas X Mipa 3 SMAN 5 Enrekang Kabupaten Enrekang, kajian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model pembelajaran Student Facilitator and Explaining pada materi Wawasan Nusantara terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan dua siklus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, dokumentasi penilaian hasil belajar, dan refleksi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis interaktif dan statistik deskriptif. Penerapan model pembelajaran Student Facilitator and Explaining menggunakan tiga langkah yaitu: penyampaian materi, pembentukan kelompok, dan siswa (facilitator) menjelaskan materi kepada siswa lainnya. Hasil tes siklus I berada pada kategori cukup (C) dan terjadi peningkatan pada siklus II yang berada pada kategori baik (B). Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pada penelitian tindakan kelas menunjukan bahwa proses dan hasil belajar siswa mata pelajaran PKn di kelas X Mipa 3  SMAN 5 Enrekang  Kabupaten Enrekang dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Student Facilitator And Explaining mengalami peningkatanKata Kunci :Hasil Belajar, Student Facilitator And Explaining

Abstract

Increasingly diverse learners in today’s classroom might require teachers to implement differentiated instruction (DI) to create an effective learning process. This systematic review provides an overview of how DI was implemented in reading instruction in elementary education. For this purpose, the researchers systematically searched five databases (APA PsycINFO, Education Research Complete, ERIC, Scopus, and Web of Science). Based on the inclusion criteria, 28 empirical studies from 2002 to 2022 were selected for review. To be included in the review, the studies should be empirical, written in English, peer-reviewed, focusing on reading in elementary education, and include students with or without disabilities. The researchers created content coding in Microsoft Excel spreadsheet to extract relevant information from the selected studies. The findings indicated that implementing DI in reading instruction to elementary school students includes differentiation in content, process, and product, increased quality and quantity of explicit reading instruction, assessments informed instructions, and integrating DI with other instructional models. This emphasizes that although differentiation might seem complex, it is possible to implement it in reading instruction.

Abstract

This research is quantitative research with a correlational type of research which has objectives 1). To find out a picture of the 21st century teaching skills of teachers at Batulaccuu State Elementary School, Makassar City. 2). To find out a picture of student learning motivation at Batulaccu State Elementary School, Makassar City. 3). To find out whether there is a relationship between 21st century teaching skills and student learning motivation at Batulaccu State Elementary School, Makassar City. Variable X in this research is 21st century teaching skills, while variable Y in this research is student learning motivation. The population in this study was 35 students. Data collection was carried out by providing questionnaires and documentation. The power analysis techniques used in this research are descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. Based on the results of descriptive statistics, namely the average value and percentage, a picture of the teacher's 21st century teaching skills and student learning motivation is in the very good category. Then, based on the results of inferential statistical analysis, it shows that tcount is greater than ttable at the 5% significance level. Therefore H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. From the results of this research, it was concluded that there is a significant relationship between teachers' 21st century teaching skills and student learning motivation at Batlaccu State Elementary School, Makassar City.

Abstract

ABSTRACTResearch on the use of digital technology in English-speaking practice has been widely acknowledged in the literature, including empirical studies on the use of vlogging as a mediated instruction in teaching speaking skills. This study aimed to investigate Indonesian EFL students' experiences when conducting a food vlog learning project in English-speaking practices. Fifty students in the Education Department at the State University of Makassar, Indonesia, took part in this study. In their English classes, they worked on the food vlog as a project-based learning (PBL) activity. Random sampling was used to choose five people from each of the five groups of ten people, and they agreed to take part in a semi-structured interview. A thematic analysis was used to look at the qualitative data from the interview. The results indicate that the food vlog group, as part of PBL, helped and enhanced the students' self-efficacy, vocabulary mastery, learning autonomy, technology skills, and confidence in speaking English in EFL classes. These findings suggest that PBL has practical application within the context of the food vlog project. Consequently, utilizing a food vlog as a learning activity can be an effective support in practicing their English-speaking skills beyond the confines of the classroom.ABSTRAKPenelitian tentang penggunaan teknologi digital dalam praktik berbahasa Inggris telah diakui secara luas dalam literatur, termasuk studi empiris tentang penggunaan vlogging sebagai instruksi mediasi dalam pengajaran keterampilan berbicara.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki  pengalaman siswa EFL Indonesia dalam melakukan proyek pembelajaran vlog makanan dalam praktik berbahasa Inggris. Lima puluh mahasiswa di Departemen Pendidikan di Universitas Negeri Makassar, Indonesia, mengambil bagian dalam penelitian ini. Di kelas bahasa Inggris mereka mengerjakan vlog makanan sebagai kegiatan pembelajaran berbasis proyek (PBL). Pengambilan sampel acak digunakan untuk memilih lima orang dari masing-masing lima kelompok yang terdiri dari sepuluh orang, dan mereka setuju untuk mengambil bagian dalam wawancara semi-terstruktur. Analisis tematik digunakan untuk melihat data kualitatif dari wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelompok food vlog sebagai PBL membantu dan meningkatkan self-efficacy siswa, penguasaan kosa kata, kemandirian belajar, keterampilan teknologi, dan kepercayaan diri dalam berbicara bahasa Inggris di kelas EFL. Temuan ini menyatakan bahwa PBL memiliki aplikasi praktis dalam konteks proyek vlog review makanan secara nyata. Oleh karena itu, food vlog dapat digunakan sebagai kegiatan pembelajaran yang efektif untuk membantu siswa berlatih berbicara bahasa Inggris di luar kelas.How to Cite: Yusuf, Y., Aras, L., Faisal, M., & Ali, A.
