Abstract

Kajian ini mengkaji konsep demokrasi dalam perspektif filsafat pendidikan Barat dan Islam. Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi prinsip-prinsip demokrasi yang sesuai dengan nilai-nilai pendidikan dari kedua tradisi pemikiran tersebut, nilai-nilai yang terkandung, serta pengaruhnya dalam dunia Pendidikan, serta upaya memperkuat demokrasi melalui jalur Pendidikan. Dari perspektif Barat, penelitian ini menjelaskan kontribusi para pemikir seperti Rousseau, Dewey, dan Mill dalam meletakkan dasar bagi demokrasi pendidikan yang seimbang dan inklusif. Sementara itu, dalam perspektif Islam, mengulas pandangan filosofis dari beberapa tokoh seperti Al-Farabi, Ibnu Sina, ibnu Khaldun dan Al-Ghazali, menganalisa nilai-nilai demokrasi dalam Pendidikan, menyoroti kesinambungan dan integrasi nilai-nilai demokrasi dengan nilai-nilai Islam, memberikan pijakan untuk memahami bagaimana demokrasi dapat dicapai dalam konteks Pendidikan. Kajian ini berfokus pada kesinambungan dan integrasi nilai-nilai demokrasi dan Islam, serta memberikan dasar untuk memahami bagaimana keselarasan dapat dicapai dalam lingkungan Pendidikan serta menemukan titik temu antara konsep demokrasi dalam pendidikan Barat dan Islam melalui analisis komparatif yang mendetail.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of social values ​​of Islamic education in shaping the religious character of adolescents. The research method used is qualitative, with a literature study approach and content analysis of various relevant literature. Data and data sources in this study come from journal articles, books, and related documents published between 2020 and 2024. Data collection techniques are carried out through systematic literature searches using academic databases and digital libraries. Data analysis techniques use content analysis, where data is analyzed in depth to identify main patterns and themes related to the social values ​​of Islamic education and the formation of adolescent religious characters. The findings of the study indicate that social values ​​such as justice, equality, and social concern applied in Islamic education have a significant contribution to strengthening religious identity and increasing positive social behaviour in adolescents. The conclusion of this study confirms that the integration of Islamic social values ​​in the curriculum and school activities is very effective in shaping the religious character of adolescents. The implications of this study show the importance of implementing social values ​​in education to produce a young generation that is ethical and has integrity. Recommendations for further research are to develop more innovative strategies to address challenges in implementing these values, as well as explore the impact of external environmental influences such as social media on Islamic social values ​​education.

Abstract

This article discusses the Islamic education perspective in the context of multicultural education and the urgency of integrating multiculturalism into education. The researcher employs qualitative research methods and references literary sources as data references. Multicultural-oriented Islamic education instils awareness of the importance of living with values of cooperation, tolerance, and harmony amid differences. Consequently, this approach offers the best path to address religious conflicts. The focus is on the educational realm because it possesses characteristics of open-minded thinking, learning to live with differences and mutual understanding. Multicultural-oriented Islamic education serves as a solution to existing or potential conflicts. Thinking deeply, as defined by the philosophy of Islamic education, aids in examining various issues related to Islamic education. The results of this research include the emergence of an understanding of the essence of Islamic education and how the principles, objectives, and functions of multicultural education are perceived from the perspective of Islamic educational philosophy.

Abstract

This research aimed to describe the results obtained from the reformulation of the Ngalah Islamic Boarding School to attract the sympathy of the community to learn Islamic religious knowledge. This research used a qualitative approach that emphasizes the social processes that occur at the Ngalah Islamic Boarding School. In the data collection process that will be carried out, several data collection techniques are used (in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation. Data analysis used interactive analysis, namely data collection, data simplification, data presentation and conclusion submission. The results of the research showed that the reformulation used by The Ngalah Islamic Boarding School included: 1) kyai figures; implementation of Kyai's dawuh as the basis of Islamic boarding schools, 2) Holding regular recitations for the general public, 3) preparing books and distributing them for free or for a fee, 4) Islamic boarding school alumni forming the IKSAN organization, 5) complete educational facilities through development activities, improvements and management programs, maintenance and development of facilities. 6) pluralism and multiculturalism by instilling these values, whether written in the curriculum or not, and in real practice.

Abstract

Education began with the classical view of ancient Greek philosophy regarding logical truth, in the medieval period there was a restriction on freedom of thought by the church on the grounds that truth could not be produced by reason as happened in the ancient Greek period, after that came the modern period called the renaissance , namely the school of thought. rationalism which prioritizes reason as a source of knowledge. From knowledge that continues to develop, new ideas and knowledge emerge that make the world of education activities increasingly complex. This history-based educational theory research uses a qualitative approach with a type of bibliographic research so as to present accurate historical facts in accordance with theory from various historical experts' points of view. The science developed in western education is philosophy which is formed as a reference for their thinking, which will give rise to thoughts characterized by materialism, idealism, secularism and rationalism.

Abstract

Islamic education in its journey has experienced a lot of maturation and development until now. This is because it is heavily influenced by the thoughts of figures in implementing the existing learning systems in the educational institutions they develop. The thinking of educational figures is driven by the intersection between the sociocultural realities faced by these figures and the religious thoughts they adhere to, especially Islam. By using literary research methods, this research aims to identify tendencies in Islamic educational philosophy. The aim of this research is to explore the ideological construction of Muslim figures, especially Muslim philosophers, regarding education, because we know that education is the path to human development. The results of this research indicate that the influence of Islamic educational philosophy on the Islamic education model lies in the formation of subjects taught to students. Apart from that, Islamic educational philosophy also helps education find its identity, whether the educational institution adheres to a conservative mindset or a pragmatic and progressive mindset. This study can then also be used as a philosophical basis for every educational practitioner.

Abstract

Background: Sampah adalah material sisa atau limbah yang dihasilkan dari aktivitas manusia atau proses alam yang tidak lagi digunakan dan biasanya dibuang. Pemanfaatan sampah melalui inovasi, seperti teknologi fermentasi untuk eco-enzyme, pembuatan pupuk organik, atau pengolahan menjadi biogas, dapat menjadi solusi yang tidak hanya mengurangi limbah tetapi juga memberikan dampak ekonomi positif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru serta siswa dalam menerapkan konsep bioteknologi, serta mendorong terciptanya lingkungan belajar yang lebih aktif dan berbasis pada pengalaman nyata. Metode: Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) dilakukan dengan tahapan yaitu tahap persiapan, pelatihan, pendampingan, evaluasi dan pelaporan. Pelaksana program terdiri dari 3 orang dosen dan 8 mahasiswa. Sedangkan sasaran program adalah siswa-siswa di SMPN 1 Batu. Hasil: Program PKM ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman guru, serta siswa tentang konsep dan aplikasi eco-enzyme. Eco-enzyme juga dianggap potensial menjadi materi proyek berbasis lingkungan yang relevan dan menarik bagi siswa. Pengolahan limbah organik menjadi eco-enzyme tidak hanya bermanfaat secara edukatif tetapi juga mendukung keberlanjutan lingkungan dan pemberdayaan masyarakat sekolah. Kesimpulan: Kegiatan pelatihan yang dilakukan pada siswa SMP N 1 Batu terkait pengelolaan sampah dengan eco enzim menunjukkan bahwa siswa menunjukkan semangat dan motivasi yang tinggi selama pelatihan, dari awal hingga akhir kegiatan. Kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman siswa mengenai pengelolaan sampah dengan pemanfaatan limbah melalui eco enzim. Siswa juga merasa termotivasi untuk menerapkan pengetahuan yang diperoleh dengan membuat eco enzim di rumah masing-masing dan menggunakannya secara praktis.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the main concepts in the schools of Islamic educational philosophy, analyze the thoughts of the main figures in Islamic educational philosophy, and identify the influence of various schools of Islamic educational philosophy on learning in Islamic educational environments. This study uses a library study method with a descriptive-analytical approach to examine the thoughts and concepts in Islamic educational philosophy. Islamic educational philosophy is divided into three main schools, namely conservative, religious-rational, and pragmatic. The conservative school, influenced by Al-Ghazali's thoughts, emphasizes the importance of education based on the development of morals and spirituality with an orientation to the afterlife. The religious-rational school, as developed by Ikhwan al-Shafa, emphasizes the balance between religious knowledge and rational knowledge to form critical and wise individuals. Meanwhile, the pragmatic school initiated by Ibn Khaldun emphasizes the relevance of education to social and economic needs, as well as strengthening practical skills that contribute to the welfare of society. This third school provides a strong philosophical foundation in Islamic education, making it not only a means of transferring knowledge but also a vehicle for character formation and improving life skills. Thus, Islamic educational philosophy remains relevant in the modern education system as an effort to develop a more holistic, adaptive, and contextual learning model.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Tradisi memiliki peran penting dalam kehidupan masyarakat karena memberikan struktur, stabilitas, serta memperkuat identitas budaya dan nilai spiritual. Salah satu tradisi yang masih dijaga oleh masyarakat Jawa adalah tedhak siten, yaitu upacara saat seorang bayi pertama kali menginjakkan kakinya ke tanah. Tradisi ini bukan sekadar seremonial, tetapi juga menjadi bentuk ungkapan rasa syukur kepada Tuhan atas kelahiran anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui makna tradisi tedhak siten serta relevansinya dengan ajaran Islam, khususnya yang dilaksanakan di Desa Kalijambe, Kecamatan Sragi, Kabupaten Pekalongan. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Data diperoleh dari sumber primer dan sekunder, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model analisis interaktif Miles, Huberman, dan Saldana. Hasil: Tradisi tedhak siten mengandung nilai budaya, sosial, dan spiritual yang mempererat hubungan antaranggota keluarga dan masyarakat. Nilai-nilai seperti berdoa, bersedekah, dan silaturahmi selaras dengan ajaran Islam. Kesimpulan: Tradisi ini hukumnya mubah, selama tidak bertentangan dengan akidah, syariat, dan akhlak Islam.

Abstract

The schools of educational philosophy believe in their views for development and change. The flow of philosophy makes the world of education more advanced and quality. The views of progressivism, perennialism, essentialism, constructionism andconstructivism are projected in educators, students, curriculum, principles of education and learning. Early Childhood Islamic Education (PIAUD) is one of the media for actualizing the views of educational philosophical schools that are relevantto local culture. so that many schools of philosophy can be adopted.
