Abstract

Pelecehan seksual terhadap anak terjadi karena komunikasi antara orang tua dan anak tidak terjalin dengan baik, mudahnya orang tua mempercayai orang lain, dan tidak memiliki pengetahuan untuk  pencegahannya. Dibutuhkan media kreatif yang komunikatif untuk mengedukasi orang tua dan anak dalam melakukan pencegahan pelecehan seksual itu.Perancangan Buku Cerita Bergambar Pencegahan Pelecehan Seksual pada Anak, penulis  menggunakan Teori Desain Komunikasi Visual, Teori Ilustrasi, Teori Media, Teori Cerita Bergambar, Teori Pelecehan Seksual terhadap Anak, dan Teori Psikologi Anak. Metode Perancangan yang dipakai adalah metode kotak kaca (Glass Box Method). Penulis mengumpulkan data melalui  observasi, wawancara, dan studi literatur. Data diolah melalui metode analisis SWOT. Hasil Analisis digunakan sebagai acuan dalam merancang buku cerita bergambar yang bergenre Chapter Book sesuai umur audience yang ditargetkan  Gaya gambar yang digunakan adalah gaya cartoon style.Buku cerita bergambar ini memiliki judul Tobi, Unis dan Peri Biru. Perancangan ini memiliki media pendukung berupa e-book, x-banner, pin, stiker, kaos, tumbler, gantungan kunci, totebag, bag tag.Kata kunci : Buku, Cerita Bergambar, Edukasi, Anak.

Abstract

Macaroni Italian Street Resto is one of the culinary places in Padang City which is located at Bandar Street No. 4 of Padang Barat, Padang City, West Sumatera. Established since April 5, 2016 up to now with that offer food/ beverage taste of italian food with a blend of Indonesian tastes. And has a classic concept building structure that uses materials such as wood and used goods as furniture.Selection of television advertising as the final work aims to produce an effective and efficient promotion design in accordance with the advantages of television advertising, which can reach a broad target. In addition, with this television ads will be able to introduce Macaroni Italian Street Resto as Italian food food taste creations are cheap / affordable by young people in the city of Padang. SWOT is a method used in doing data collection that is through observation, interview, and documentation. Then proceed with data analysis method by using SWOT analysis (strenght, weakness, opportunity, threats). Further concludes data analysis and creative approach (mainstream and supporting media). In making the design of television advertising Macaroni Italian Street Resto in the city of Padang this writer displays verbal and visual messages for audiences who see this promotion. The design of television advertising is made into 2 (two) namely the main media and supporting media. The design of television advertising Macaroni Italian Street Resto this, is expected to create a good positioning. In addition, it is expected to attract the attention of the target audience, especially among young people in the city of Padang considering the media-based audio visual campaign is a very likely media and a big influence in promoting promotion.Keywords: Café /Resto, Television Ads, Macaroni Italian Street Resto

Abstract

Pesisir Selatan in West Sumatra, it is located on the seafront and has large and small uninhabited islands. Maritime and coastal wealth has become a mainstay of tourism in this district. South Coast has 57 islands. There are 17 big islands. The rest are small islands and uninhabited islands in the South Coast, the capital of Pesisir Selatan Regency is Painan. Coastal South has a natural panorama that is quite beautiful and charming. Now this tourist tourism by the central government of Indonesia. As a district that has natural tourist destinations that do not yet have a website. The website is an information and promotion media on the internet with the widest network, media that never stops operating.Designing Media for Promotion of Natural Coastal Areas in South Form o f Web Design This is taken from this nickname of the South Coast district of Million Enchantments. And according to the geography of South Coastal District, South Coastal District is located on the beach, with a coastline of 218 kilometers. The topography consists of plains, mountains and hills which are an extension of the Bukit Barisan cluster. This design uses the SWOT analysis method to look for weaknesses, strengths, opportunities, and threats of the South Coastal District as well as distinguishing factors from competing districts.Designing Media for Promoting Coastal Tourism in the Form of Web Design is a logo, tagline, and icon that is applied to the main media of the Website. Abstract

Train become a transportation that liked by the society of Padang and surrounding areas. The timely departure and free from traffic jam are the advantages possessed by train, but the increasing cases of train accidents in West Sumatra especially in line of Padang-Pariaman becomes a very serious problem nowadays, almost every year there is an accident in railway crossing. These accidents occur mostly in railway tracks that do not have a doorstop, the government has not build a doorstep in every existing crossing because of constrained budget, therefore the society can not only rely on and wait for prevention efforts from the government.Based on these problems, the design of public service for the safety in railway crossings is created in motion graphic media. Motion graphic is chosen as the main media because it makes the object looked dynamic, interesting, and not boring. Motion graphic will be more effective as the main media, because it contains elements of video and audio, the message that is informed is easily understood.The purpose of this design is to make public service in motion graphic form that can remind the audience to care about the safety at the railway. In designing this motion graphic, 5W1H method (what, where, who, why, how) is used. Author analyzed public safety service advertisements at railway crossings as a study in designing motion graphic and supported by supporting media such as poster, sticker, key chain, pin, T-shirt, totebag and buff.Keywords: Padang West Sumatra, Safety at Railway Crossing, Motion Graphic

Abstract

Sign system is a sign commonly used as a means to facilitate visitors to more easily interact with the environment. defines a directive, a command or a prohibition through symbols expressing the meaning of rules that are easily understood by the general public. A good sign system is a medium that can communicate focused information by considering alignment between color, letter, shape, size, layout and economically can save time and cost, and have a good level of legibility.The purpose of making this sign system is to improve the existing sign system to be more communicative in terms of font selection, color, layout, material sign system and also the location of placement sign system conservation area in helping facilitate visitors in the Pariaman Turtle Breeding when heading and being in Turtle Breeding area. The audiance target of this design is the Pariaman community, especially the junior and senior high school students. In addition to the background of more adolescent visitors who make educational visits, adolescents are also individuals who have good enough kongnitif skills so that delivery of messages will be more effective.This media sign system contains text and illustrations in the design. This design is made by using the theory of Visual Communication Design books, Layout, Illustration, and Typography. Method of data analysis performed is 5W + 1H obtained by interview data collection method, observation, and documentation.The main media in this design is supported by some supporting media such as: posters, pins, key chains, stickers, clothes, totebag, and notebook. In addition to supporting media, these media also serve as promotional media.

Abstract

Pulau Cingkuak merupakan objek wisata yang berada di Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. Keberadaan Pulau Cingkuak sebagai objek wisata didukung oleh keindahan pemandangan alam laut dan berbagai wahana hiburan serta nilai sejarah berupa situs-situs peninggalan pada masa penjajahan Belanda. Namun situs-situs peninggalan pada masa penjajahan Belanda yang berada di Pulau Cingkuak kurang diketahui keberadaan dan sejarahnya, sehingga diperlukan sebuah media promosi berupa video dokumenter untuk memberikan informasi mengenai situs peninggalan sejarah tersebut.Video dokumenter merupakan salah satu media yang efektif karena penyampaian informasi melalui video dokumenter lebih mudah menarik perhatian target audience. Tujuan dari video dokumenter ini adalah untuk memberikan informasi mengenai sejarah keberadaan situs-situs peninggalan pada masa penjajahan Belanda sehingga nantinya menjadi sebuah media promosi wisata alam dan sejarah Pulau Cingkuak.Metodologi pendekatan bertolak dari beberapa literatur dan menggunakan metode 5W+1H dengan memahami seluruh informasi dalam suatu masalah. Sehingga pemilihan media promosi lebih efektif dan pesan yang ingin disampaikan dimengerti oleh target audience.Video ini nantinya memvisualisasikan keindahan pemandangan alam laut di Pulau Cingkuak dan keberadaan situs peninggalan sejarah pada masa penjajahan Belanda. Video wawancara dengan utusan Balai Pelestarian Peninggalan Purbakala (BP3) Sematera Barat juga ditampilkan demi mendukung penjelasan tentang sejarah yang ada di Pulau Cingkuak. Video dokumenter ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi dalam kemajuan wisata yang berada di Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan.Kata Kunci : Pulau Cingkuak, Video Dokumenter, Wisata Alam, Wisata Sejarah

Abstract

The purpose of this design is to design an informative sign system, have a visual appeal with the theme, a form of communication with a clear and effective approach so as to facilitate the target audience towards the location of the weaving craftsmen.The method used in designing this sign system is through the glass box approach, with the analysis of the data used is 5W + 1H (what, who, where, when, why, and how) to find a solution to the problem at hand.This design produced a draft sign system for weaving on the Jambua River in Solok Regency namely Identification Sign, Direction Sign, and information sign as the main media, and also supported by several other media, namely: posters, key chains, pins, t-shirts, stickers, and Paper bag, as supporting the main media and as a media campaign.Keywords: Sign system, house weaving, craft

Abstract

Today's entertainment world has experienced many improvements and is growing rapidly. The presence of entertainment service providers is a solution to meet the need for entertainment. Karaoke is one of the entertainment that is developing in Indonesia. Karaoke in Indonesia began in 1998, and until now the karaoke business has grown and attracted many people, therefore there is a karaoke service provider company that has a good brand quality, so they are the ones who deserve appreciation from consumers.The purpose of this design is a manifestation of the writer's desire to build a new and positive image from Ririez Karaoke. Karaoke place so far has a bad image in society therefore with this design is expected to be able to change the public perception about karaoke place and make Ririez Karaoke has its own image. This design is carried out through several stages, namely data collection, data analysis and design. The process of collecting data through interviews with owner Ririez Karaoke. While the data analysis process with the S W O T method is obtained through the collection of observation and documentation data directly to Ririez Karaoke.The Visual Design of Ririez Branding Karaoke The City of Mukomuko Bengkulu will produce the main media in the form of a Manual book that serves as a guide to applying the brand to be consistent and maintain the character of Ririez Karaoke. Abstract

Central coffee is a coffee producer and coffee shop that is located in Alahan Panjang with an owner named Marnofi Hendri. Previously, Central coffee did not yet have an identity, therefore the identity was designed in the form of a logo with color and typography that represented the previous concept so that consumers or prospective consumers could easily remember and increased its brand loyalty.This logo is formed from Mount Talang silhouette that resembles coffee topping, coffee cups and coasters form the letter “C” which is the initial of the object design namely Central Coffee followed by a letter mark beside it to form the word “Central”, and the headline “Coffee” below. This form is in accordance with the concept that Central Coffee used, simple and modern.The analytical method that is used in designing visual Central Coffee is SWOT (Strength,  Weakness, Opportunity, Threat) analysis method to highlight the Central Coffee characteristics. The design of visual identity includes media: manual book, poster, x-banner, name card, sticker, t-shirt, totebag, mug, packaging and backdrop. It is hoped that this visual identity design could help increase brand royalty and get brand awareness so that the design results are right on target, effective and communicative so that it can be known among the wider community.Keywords : Visual Identity, Logo, Central Coffee.
