Abstract

This research illustrates the pedagogical competence of PPL (Field Experience Program) students in the PGMI program at STAI Miftahul Ulum Tanjungpinang in instructional design for primary schools (SD/MI). The study involved 35 seventh-semester students of the PGMI program who participated in the PPL during the Academic Year 2022/2023. The research employed a quantitative descriptive method with data collected through observation and questionnaires. The results indicate that students have good competence in understanding the characteristics of students, curriculum development, lesson planning and implementation, technology utilization, and evaluation of learning outcomes. From the obtained data, it is evident that the understanding of student characteristics has an average score of 88.60, categorized as very good. Understanding curriculum development obtains an average score of 86.00, categorized as very good. Lesson planning and implementation have an average score of 85.75, categorized as very good. The level of technology utilization in learning by students reaches an average score of 84.50, categorized as good. Meanwhile, the ability to evaluate learning outcomes in teaching has an average score of 87.67, categorized as very good. The PGMI educational program has successfully aligned with the standard competence of educators. This research contributes significantly to the improvement of educational programs and PPL in the future

Abstract

Keberhasilan belajar pada siswa tingkatan sekolah dasar di Tanjungpinang masih menekankan pada aspek kognitif yang berupa penguasaan teori materi pelajaran saja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif. Peneliti menggunakan tiga teknik pengumpulan, yaitu studi pustaka, wawancara, dan angket validasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tingkat kelayakan modul pembelajaran berbasis proyek siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 10 Tanjungpinang Timur pada aspek bahasa diperoleh persentase 95, 63 % kategori sangat valid atau dapat digunakan tanpa revisi, selanjutnya persentase aspek materi yaitu 85,42 % kategori cukup valid atau dapat digunakan namun direvisi kecil. Pemanfaatan pembelajaran berbasis proyek Tema 9 Subtema 1 “Kayanya Negeriku” dapat digunakan untuk memperoleh pengalaman baru dalam pembelajaran di kelas dan memudahkan pemahaman konsep serta dapat membantu siswa belajar secara mandiri oleh siswa baik dengan ataupun tanpa bimbingan dari guru. Kata Kunci: Modul Pembelajaran, Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek Abstract: The success of learning at elementary school level students in Tanjungpinang still emphasizes the cognitive aspect in the form of mastering the theory of subject matter only. This research uses descriptive analysis method. Researchers used three collection techniques, namely literature study, interviews, and validation questionnaires. Based on the results of the study, the feasibility level of project-based learning modules for fourth grade students of State Elementary School 10 Tanjungpinang Timur in the language aspect obtained a percentage of 95, 63% very valid category or can be used without revision, then the percentage of material aspects is 85.42% category quite valid or can used but slightly revised. Utilization of project-based learning Theme 9 Sub-theme 1 “Kayanya Negeriku” can be used to gain new experiences in classroom learning and facilitate understanding of concepts and can help students learn independently by students either with or without guidance from the teacher. Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum at SD Negeri 005 Tanjungpinang Timur, focusing on textbook availability, teaching strategies, technology use, teacher professional development, challenges, and solutions. Using interviews, observations, and document analysis, the study found that despite challenges such as resource limitations and the need for additional teacher training, the school has made efforts to overcome these obstacles. Most textbooks align with the Merdeka Curriculum, though some teachers still use older materials as references. Teachers have adopted interactive and innovative teaching strategies, utilizing technology to enhance learning. The study concludes that while the implementation is going well, some improvements and adjustments are needed. This research contributes positively to the school's educational development and can serve as a reference for other schools implementing the Merdeka Curriculum.
