Abstract

This research is aiming at determining whether there is significant different grade on (1) learning motivation, (2) learning achievement and (2) learning motivation and achievement simultaneously on the students’ who are taught by using games and board number on the topic multiplication and division for the fifth grade at MI Ma’arif Cekok Babadan Ponorogo. It employed pretest-posttest control group quasy experimental design. It was assigned 17 students in A class and 13 students in B class as sample by using cluster random sampling from 60 students as population. Test and questionnaire were utilized as data collection technique and its results was analyzed by T-test and MANOVA by using SPSS 23 for Windows. The finding showed that (1) there is significant different learning motivation from the students who are taught by using games and board number as proved by the result of significant value of t-test which is lower than 0.05 at the value of 0.038 partially (2) there is significant different learning achievement from the students who are taught by using games and board number as it is showed by significant point of t-test which is lower than 0.05 at the value of 0.037 partially, and (3) there is simultaneous significant different grade on learning motivation and learning achievement from the students who are taught by using games and board number as proved by the result of significant value of MANOVA which is lower than 0.05 at the value of 0.03 and 0.02 respectively. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya perbedaan (1) motivasi (2) prestasi dan (3) motivasi dan prestasi Matematika materi operasi hitung perkalian dan pembagian pada siswa yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan metode permainan dengan papan angka dengan yang tidak menggunakan pada kelas 5 di MI Ma’arif Cekok Babadan Ponorogo. Metode penelitian adalah kuantitatif eksperimen jenis experimental semu (pretestposttest control group design). Penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling, dan hasilnya adalah kelas Va sebanyak 17 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen, sedangkan kelas Vb sebanyak 13 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol. Pengumpulan data melalui tes dan angket. Sedangkan analisis data menggunakan uji T dan uji MANOVA yang dilakukan dengan bantuan komputer aplikasi SPSS 23 for windows 8. Berdasarkan analisis data diketahui (1) adanya perbedaan motivasi belajar antara kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol dengan nilai signifikansi yang diperoleh lebih kecil dari taraf signifikansi yang telah ditetapkan, yaitu 0,038 < 0,05. (2) Adanya perbedaan prestasi belajar antara kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol dengan nilai signifikansi yang diperoleh lebih kecil dari taraf signifikansi yang telah ditetapkankan, yaitu 0,037 < 0,05. (3) Adannya perbedaan motivasi dan prestasi belajar antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol yang diperoleh dalam uji MANOVA yaitu sebesar 0.03 untuk variabel motivasi, dan sebesar 0,02 untuk variabel prestasi belajar, dimana kedua nilai signifikansi tersebut lebih kecil dari taraf signifikansi yang telah ditentukan, yaitu 0,03 < 0,05 dan 0,02 < 0,05.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the spatio-temporal patterns of subduction and local fault earthquakes in the Special Region of Yogyakarta using the ST-DBSCAN (Spatio-Temporal Density-Based Spatial Clustering of Applications with Noise) algorithm. A total of 5,403 earthquake events from 2019 to 2024 were clustered using spatial parameters (2–5 km) and a temporal window of 10 days. The results were evaluated using the Davies-Bouldin Index (DBI) and Silhouette Score. In the subduction zone, nine clusters were identified with a DBI of 3.23 and a Silhouette Score of 0.18, indicating moderate separation. Meanwhile, 25 clusters were detected in the local fault zone, particularly around the Opak and Oyo Faults, with a higher DBI of 3.82 and a negative Silhouette Score (-0.14), suggesting overlapping clusters and weak structure. The clustering outcomes correlate with geological features and offer insights for improving earthquake hazard assessment and early warning systems in Yogyakarta.

Abstract

Penelitian tentang  Penerapan Kain Perca Batik Tasikmalaya melalui Teknik Sulam dan Kolase Ilustrasi Fashion pada Pelengkap Busana ini bertujuan untuk membuat varian baru penggambaran desain ilustrasi fashion dan pemanfaatan kain perca batik dengan teknik sulam dan kolase khususnya pada kain batik Tasikmalaya yang dikenal dengan beragamnya motif batik yang memiliki kekhasan budaya Jawa Barat yang kaya nilai tradisi dan kearifan lokal. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksplorasi, perancangan, dan perwujudan dengan pendekatan estetika. Penelitian ini diharapkan mampu berkontribusi bagi masyarakat luas, dengan memperkenalkan penggambaran ilustrasi fashion pada pelengkap busana melalui upaya pelestarian budaya dengan mengkaji karakteristik batik yang mengangkat tradisi budaya lokal dengan pendekatan aspek estetis. Latar belakang lokasi penelitian adalah Tasikmalaya sebagai salah satu daerah yang memiliki keragaman budaya dan daerah penghasil kain batik yang memiliki kekayaan motif.  Keindahan motif batik Tasikmalaya, tidak hanya memiliki nilai estetika saja, namun juga mengandung nilai-nilai tradisi dan kearifan lokal.Kata kunci:  Penerapan, Perca, Ilustrasi Fashion, Kolase, Batik Tasikmalaya----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This research on "Application of Tasikmalaya Batik Patchwork Through Embroidery Techniques and Fashion Illustration Collages on Clothing Complementary" aims to create a new variant of the depiction of Fashion Illustration designs and the use of batik patchwork with embroidery and collage techniques, especially on batik cloth from Tasikmalaya which is known for its various motifs. Batik which has a unique culture of West Java which is rich in traditional values and local wisdom. The method used in this research is the method of exploration, design and embodiment with an aesthetic approach. This research is expected to be able to contribute to the wider community, by introducing the depiction of Fashion Illustrations on complementary clothing through cultural preservation efforts by examining the characteristics of batik that elevates local cultural traditions with an aesthetic aspect approach. a batik-producing area that has a wealth of motifs. Abstract

This community service leads to the development of learning media for early childhood teachers (4 to 6 years). This service is located at TKN Cimenyan, Bandung Regency, West Java. The target of the training participants includes the teaching staff of TKN Cimenyan, learning media that will be developed through the use or manufacture of puppets from patchwork applications that have never been developed at TKN Cimenyan schools. Through this training, it is hoped that it can add insight to the teachers regarding Early Childhood learning media and to increase the creativity of early childhood. This training activity was carried out in several stages, including: the initial stage or data collection regarding the situation of the Cimenyan TKN school, the state of the school and the condition of the learning media of the students in Cimenyan TKN. Furthermore, the proposing team conducted a seminar as a form of introducing puppets and patchwork and workshops or training with the target that the Cimenyan TKN teachers were able to produce new learning media, and contribute to the multiplication and development of the use of patchwork with the aim of reducing cloth waste.Keywords: puppet dolls, patchwork, learning media, early childhood----------------------------------------------------------------------------------Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini mengarah kepada pengembangan media pembelajaran bagi tenaga pengajar anak usia dini (4 sd 6 tahun). Pengabdian ini berlokasi di TKN Cimenyan Kabupaten Bandung Jawa Barat. Target peserta pelatihan mencakup para tenaga pengajar TKN Cimenyan, Media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan melalui penggunaan atau pembuatan boneka puppet dari aplikasi kain perca yang belum pernah di kembangkan di sekolah TKN Cimenyan. Melalui pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat menambah wawasan para pengajar terkait media pembelajaran Anak Usia Dini dan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas anak usia dini. Kegiatan pelatihan ini dilakukan dalam beberapa tahap, diantaranya: tahapan awal atau pengumpulan data mengenai situasi sekolah TKN Cimenyan, keadaan sekolah dan bagaimana kondisi media pembelajaran para siswa yang berada di TKN Cimenyan. Selanjutnya tim pengusul melakukan seminar sebagai bentuk pengenalan boneka puppet dan kain perca dan workshop atau pelatihan dengan target yang diharapkan para pengajar TKN Cimenyan mampu menghasilkan media pembelajaran baru, dan berkontribusi pada pengalian dan pengembangan pemanfaatan perca kain dengan tujuan mengurangi sampah kain.Kata kunci: boneka puppet, kain perca, media pembelajaran, anak usia dini

Abstract

One of the lecturers’ efforts is to conduct research to improve the quality of learning which is carried out systematically and under control. This research is based on field analysis that shows students’ understanding of the wadasan batik motif as a traditional motif native to Cirebon which is considered very worthy of developing innovative stylization of the motif by students. This stylization development effort aims to increase students’ understanding and skills in creating innovative works of Cirebon wadasan motifs. Starting with providing material on the history of Cirebon batik and an introduction to its traditional motifs, which will be used as a Project Based Learning class action method where the lecturer acts as a facilitator who helps students in providing direct references and guiding the learning process. The method used in this research is the stylization method in exploration, design and realization. As a result of the process of presenting material in class, students focused their interest on the Cirebon wadasan form to be used as a variant of the modern style wadasan motif. Through this method, students produce four (4) wadasan motif modules which will become digital batik cloth works. Keywords: Cirebon Batik, wadasan, stylization, student creative process ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Salah satu upaya dosen adalah melakukan penelitian guna meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan secara sistematis dan terkendali. Penelitian kali ini berdasarkan analisa lapangan bahwa pemahaman mahasiswa akan motif batik wadasan sebagai motif tradisional asli Cirebon yang dinilai sangat layak dikembangkan stilasi inovasi motifnya oleh mahasiswa. Upaya pengembangan stilasi ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan mahasiswa dalam menciptakan karya inovasi motif wadasan Cirebon. Diawali dengan pemberian materi sejarah batik Cirebon dan pengenalan motif motif tradisinya, yang akan digunakan sebagai metode tindakan kelas Project Based Learning di mana dosen bertindak sebagai fasilitator yang membantu mahasiswa dalam memberikan mengarahkan referensi dan mengaping proses pembelajarannya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode stilasi dalam eksplorasi, perancangan dan perwujudan. Hasil dari proses pemaparan materi dikelas, mahasiswa memfokuskan ketertarikannya kepada bentuk wadasan Cirebon untuk dijadikan sebagai varian motif wadasan bergaya modern. Melalui metode tersebut mahasiswa menghasilkan empat (4) modul motif wadasan yang akan menjadi karya kain batik digital. Kata Kunci : Batik Cirebon, wadasan, stilasi, Proses Kreatif mahasiswa

Abstract

Learning to Understand the Content of Recited Poetry is a crucial aspect of literature instruction at the junior high school level. However, field observations indicate that many students struggle to appreciate poetry due to its imaginative and multi-interpretative language (Afiana et al., 2022). This study aims to improve the skill of understanding poetry content through the implementation of a modeling-based learning model using poetry recitation videos for seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 7 Cilacap. This research adopts a quantitative approach, with subjects consisting of seventh-grade students selected based on their initial achievement, which did not meet the standard of learning mastery. The instruments used include a poetry comprehension skills test and non-test instruments such as observation, interviews, journals, and documentation. The data were analyzed using both descriptive quantitative and qualitative methods. The results indicate that the modeling learning model combined with poetry recitation videos significantly enhanced students' ability to understand the content of poetry. The average score increased from 74.78 to 78.6, exceeding the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKTP). Improvements were observed in the ability to identify the theme, message, feeling, tone and atmosphere, as well as in the ability to summarize the overall content of the poem. Additionally, there was a positive change in student behavior, with learners becoming more active, confident, and enthusiastic during the learning process. The video presentations played an important role in enthusiastic during the learning process. The video presentations played an important role in stimulating students’ auditory perception and imagination (Arlindo et al., 2022), while the modeling approach encouraged both cognitive and affective engagement (Musfiroh & Kanzunnudin, 2022). These findings affirm that instructional strategies integrating inductive approaches and audio-visual media are effective in enhancing students’ literary appreciation competencies (Sayoga & Nurlatifah, 2023). This study provides practical insights for teachers in designing engaging and effective poetry lessons and recommends further research to examine the effectiveness of similar strategies in broader educational contexts (Utomo et al., 2023).

Abstract

Penciptaan ini didasarkan pada kecenderungan brand fashion di Indonesia yang mengangkat kolaborasi dengan Disney Princess (tokoh dongeng barat) sebagai koleksi series pada produk fashion maupun no-fashion. Indonesia sendiri mempunyai banyak tokoh putri dongeng yang unik di setiap ceritanya, namun sayangnya pengemasan tokoh nya itu sendiri kurang menarik dari segi animasi visual maupun marketing dibanding dengan tokoh Disney princess yang dikemas dengan teknologi yang canggih. Hal ini menyebabkan kurangnya minat fashion brand lokal untuk mengangkat tokoh putri dongeng Indonesia untuk dijadikan inspirasi produk fashion. Salah satu tokoh putri dongeng yang terkenal di Jawa Timur adalah Putri Candrakirana yang dikutuk menjadi keong emas, membuat pengkarya tertarik untuk membuat inovasi baru pada busana Putri Candrakirana dengan menambahkan unsur fantasi yang diaplikasikan pada motif kain printing. Motif tersebut lalu akan dikembangkan menjadi busana ready to wear deluxe dengan tambahan teknik slashing tucking. Tujuannya adalah untuk melestarikan dan menambah ketertarikan pada tokoh dongeng di Indonesia melalui produk fashion. Metode Penciptaan yang digunakan yaitu menurut Gustiyan Rachmadi, 2018 ( dalam Hendriyana, 2018) terbagi menjadi empat tahapan yaitu pra-perancangan, perancangan, perwujudan dan penyajian. karya yang akan dibuat berjumlah 5 karya desain fashion.

Abstract

Sampah organik, terutama daun kering, menjadi permasalahan di SMPN 7 Samarinda, yang memiliki banyak pepohonan. Sampah daun yang menumpuk tidak dikelola dengan baik, bahkan sering dibakar, yang berdampak pada pencemaran udara. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan pelatihan pembuatan pupuk kompos berbahan dasar sampah organik bagi siswa SMPN 7 Samarinda, untuk meningkatkan kesadaran lingkungan dan memberikan solusi pengolahan sampah yang ramah lingkungan. Metode yang digunakan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan, dan praktik pembuatan pupuk kompos dengan 30 siswa perwakilan dari OSIS dan Palang Merah Remaja (PMR). Evaluasi dilakukan dengan observasi langsung dan wawancara. Hasil kegiatan memberikan pengetahuan, wawasan, keterampilan serta pengalaman bagi siswa dalam memanfaatkan limbah organik berupa daun kering yang diolah menjadi pupuk kompos yang bernilai lebih dan bisa bermanfaat serta menciptakan kompos yang bersifat ramah lingkungan.

Abstract

The effectiveness of the Windows Shopping strategy in enhancing the speech writing abilities of eighth-grade students at four government junior high schools in Cilacap Regency, Indonesia, is examined in this study. The study is based on the demand for novel instructional methods that assist students with the challenges of arranging thoughts, choosing the right vocabulary, and creating well-written sentences while writing speeches. The study used a mixed methods approach with an explanatory sequential design, consisting of pretests and posttests administered to 128 pupils, along with qualitative data from observations, interviews, and reflections. With average scores rising from 61. 63 (pretest) to 81. 97 (posttest), the results showed a notable improvement in students' performance. The statistical significance was confirmed by a paired sample t-test (t = 11. 52, p = 9. 83 × 10⁻¹³). Qualitative data also showed that students were more engaged, creative, and confident during group learning sessions. The Windows Shopping method, in accordance with social constructivist learning principles, encouraged students to actively explore, present, and reconstruct information through group interaction. This approach, according to the study, is effective in improving students' speech writing abilities and promoting essential 21st century skills such as creativity, collaboration, and communication. It should be used more widely in other text-based language instruction as well.

Abstract

This study examines gender relations and role dynamics among women working in health services (Puskesmas). The research conducted in depth interviews to uncover the paradox in the workplace with eight months of PAR involving 15 healthcare workers in Yogyakarta. Although the majority of health workers are women, organisational structures and leadership practices continue to adhere to masculine values, such as assertiveness in decision making. This creates a workplace where women are underrepresented in leadership roles. In the domestic sphere, the main findings of this service demonstrate that women working in professional fields face a double burden, characterised by the phenomenon of two shifts, where they are solely responsible for both their household and professional responsibilities. This physical and mental burden places women in the role of home coordinator and family emotional bearer. In couple relationships, a collaborative or team model is used, but patriarchy remains, albeit modified. Couples maintain symbolic boundaries of masculinity and patriarchy in the form of cultural residue. Despite this, the interviewees demonstrate a high level of critical awareness, viewing nature as a social construct, rejecting rigid gender dichotomies, and adopting a flexible and functional understanding of gender.
