Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika kelas VA SDN 1 Kekeri menggunakan pendekatan Realistic Mathematic Education (RME). Subjek penelitian ini adalah kelas VA SDN 1 Kekeri yang terdiri dari 26 peserta didik, dengan 13 peserta didik laki-laki dan 13 peserta didik perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi observasi, tes tulis, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dalam penelitian tindakan kelas ini mencakup analisis kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perkembangan proses pembelajaran dari siklus I ke siklus II menunjukkan peningkatan, terlihat dari aktivitas yang semakin kondusif dan antusiasme peserta didik selama mengikuti pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman konsep matematis peserta didik meningkat di setiap siklus. Pada siklus I, pemahaman konsep matematis mencapai 73%, sedangkan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 85%. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman konsep matematis siswa menggunakan pendekatan Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) meningkat sebesar 13%. Berdasarkan penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemahaman konsep matematika, peserta didik di kelas VA SDN 1 Kekeri mengalami peningkatan setelah penerapan model Realistic Mathematic Education (RME).

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the level of independence learning, chemical learning outcomes and the correlation between independence learning and chemical learning outcomes during the Covid-19 period in class XI MIPA SMAN 6 Mataram in 2020/2021. This type of research is called correlational research. The population used was all students from class XI MIPA SMAN 6 Mataram in 2020/2021, which consisted of 4 classes totaling 126 students and the sample used was 56 students using the Slovin formula. The sampling technique is proportional random sampling. Data in the form of the level of independence learning were collected using a questionnaire distribution technique, while the learning outcomes data were collected using a documentation technique from the value of chemistry test result. The data analysis technique used is non-parametric statistics using contingency correlation coefficient test. The results showed that the level of independence learning and chemical learning outcomes were categorized as moderate. The results also show a contingency correlation coefficient (C) which is 0.612 and compared to a rtable of 0.266 which shows there is a positive and significant relationship between independence learning and chemical learning outcomes during the Covid-19 period in class XI MIPA SMAN 6 Mataram Years 2020/2021

Abstract

Abstrak: Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan penulisan artikel ilmiah dalam bentuk jurnal ilmiah pada guru kimia sekota Mataram. Pelaksanaan dilakukan di SMAN 2 Mataram. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menjalin kemitraan dengan sekolah sasaran dan menginisiasi kemitraan dengan sekolah lain untuk meningkatkan kualitas professional guru.. Kegiatan ini diawali dengan pembekalan penulisan artikel ilmiah dilanjutkan dengan pelatihan penulisan dan pengiriman jurnal serta proses pendampingan hingga jurnal siap dikirim ke jurnal.. Dari 12 orang peserta, 6 orang telah mempunyai ide untuk menulis dan 1 orang guru telah siap artikel untuk diterbitkan pada bulan November 2019 pada jurnal CEP (chemistry education practice). Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan antusias guru dalam melaksanakan semua tahapan kegiatan. Mereka berharap lebih sering dilakukan kegiatan kegiatan seperti ini untuk meningkatkan professional guru. Tanggapan guru pelajaran kimia menunjukkan respon positif terhadap kegiatan ini.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar kimia melalui implementasi konsep kimia dalam bentuk permainan sederhana. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di SMAN 4 Praya. Melalui kegiatan ini diharapkan anggapan siswa pada mata pelajaran kimia yang termasuk pelajaran yang sulit, membosankan, menakutkan dapat diubah menjadi pelajaran yang disukai, menyenangkan sehingga motivasi belajar kimia dapat ditingkatkan sebagai bagian dari upaya peningkatan hasil belajarnya. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian yang semula akan dilaksanakan secara luring tetapi karena pelaksanaannya dilaksanakan saat pandemi sehingga pelaksanaan kegiatan dimodifikasi menjadi daring dengan pembuatan video implementasi konsep kimia dalam bentuk permainan sederhana. Adapun tahapan yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini diantaranya : 1). Pembuatan Video praktikum sederhana dengan menampilkan beberapa implementasi konsep kimia sederhana. 2). Penyebaran angket quisioner motivasi belajar terutama ditujukan bagi peserta pengabdian setelah menyaksikan video praktikum sederhana. 3). Tahap analisa hasil respon siswa untuk mengetahui tingkat motivasi siswa dalam pembelajaran kimia meskipun pelaksanaan pembelajaran dilakukan secara daring. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada hari Jum’at tanggal 18 September 2020, yang diikuti oleh Siswa SMAN 4 Praya yang terdiri atas perwakilan kelas XI IPA 3 (sebanyak 20 siswa) dan Kelas XI IPA 6 (sebanyak 22 siswa) sehingga total peserta sebanyak 42 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil tanggapan siswa diperoleh informasi : 1). Sebanyak 95,2 % (40 siswa) menyatakan bahwa kimia adalah mata pelajaran yang menyenangkan, 2). Sebanyak 95,2% (40 siswa) menyatakan pelajaran kimia akan menarik jika dilakukan praktikum di laboratorium, serta c). Sebanyak 97,6% (41 siswa) menyatakan bahwa demonstrasi kimia meningkatkan motivasi belajar kimia. Dengan demikian adanya implementasi konsep kimia dalam bentuk permainan sederhana ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar kimia sekaligus merubah cara pandang siswa terhadap kimia menjadi pelajaran yang mudah, menarik, menyenangkan dapat tercapai serta harapan dan tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian di SMAN 4 Praya dapat tercapai. Kata kunci: Implementasi, Konsep Kimia, Permainan Sederhana, Motivasi

Abstract

This study aims to develop an e-module based on computational chemistry based on molecular shape. The type of research used is research and development (R&D). This development model uses a 4D model. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. The population of this study was students of class X MIA SMAN 9 Mataram, amounting to 144 people and 23 people were taken as samples. Data collection techniques using interviews and questionnaires. The results showed that (1) the developed e-module can show the shape of the compound in 2D or 3D, (2) the results of the analysis of the e-module validation sheet for computational chemistrybased chemistry practicum on the basic shape of the molecule assessed by two validating (experts) was obtained. the value of V, which is 0.6, Is in the valid category, (3) the results of the analysis of student responses using response questionnaires       for all aspects obtained on average students respond well to the computational chemistry-based chemistry practicum e-module about the basic shape of the molecule developed on average. The average practicality of the student response questionnaire are 80% with a very practical category. Based on these data, it can be concluded that the computational chemistry-based chemistry practicum e-module on the basic molecular shape material developed is feasible and very practical to use in the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the validity and practicality of student activity sheets with a scientific approach to hydrocarbon and petroleum materials for class XI High School that have been developed. This type of research is a research and development R&D (Research and Development) 4D model offered by Thiagarajan which consists of four stages, namely the definition stage, the design stage, the development stage and the dissemination stage. LKPD validation is carried out by validators. The results show that the validity of the LKPD that has been assessed by the validators in the content aspect is in the very valid category with an average percentage value of 88.3%, the display aspect is 88.19% with a very valid category, the language aspect is 91.7 % with a very valid category, and aspects of use and presentation of 82.14% with a fairly valid category. The practicality of the LKPD is known from the student response questionnaires. The results of the student response questionnaire obtained an average percentage value of 82% with a very practical category. The results of this study indicate that the student activity sheet with a scientific approach to the material of hydrocarbons and petroleum in class XI High School which was developed is valid and practical to be used as teaching material in chemistry learning in class.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of Self Regulated Learning (SRL) in online learning for chemistry education students at the University of Mataram. This type of research is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The sample used consisted of 200 active students of the chemistry education study program at the University of Mataram. Sampling was carried out using proportionated stratified random sampling. The instruments used in this study were student response questionnaires. The measurement scale used is the Likert scale, with alternative answers to questions consisting of 4 alternative answers and 25 statement items that include 5 indicators that have been tested for validity in the research instrument trial (test validity and reliability). The questionnaire was distributed online which was compiled into a google form and sent via WhatsApp. The analysis technique uses descriptive statistical analysis techniques. The results showed that the average value from the analysis of the overall indicators obtained the highest average value was indicator 5 (seeking help) which was 2,916 and the indicator with the lowest average value was indicator 3 (environmental structuring) with a value of 2,613. Based on these data, as many as 17 of 200 students have a poor level of Self Regulated Learning, 79 of 200 students have a Self Regulated Learning fairly good 92 out of 200 students have a good level of Self-Regulated Learning, then 12 out of 200 students have Self Regulated Learning in online learning. It can be concluded that the level of Self Regulated Learning (SRL) in online learning of chemistry education students at the University of Mataram is in the good category.

Abstract

The purpose of study was to develop a feasible and practical POE (Predict-Observe-Explain) based learning module assisted by rolling ball media on hydrocarbon compound properties. The study is a research and development study which uses a 4D model. The result of data analysis shows that the value of validity of the POE (Predict-Observe-Explain) based learning module assisted by rolling ball media on hydrocarbon compound properties using Aiken index was 0.84 in the category of very feasible. The practicality of the POE (Predict-Observe-Explain) based learning module assisted by rolling ball media on hydrocarbon compound properties is in the category of very practicality with a practical percentage of 87.25%. Based on the result, it can be concluded that the develop POE (Predict-Observe-Explain) based learning module assisted by rolling ball media on hydrocarbon compound  properties is feasible and practical use as an additional learning resource.

Abstract

This study aims to explain how the use of jigsaw type cooperative learning model assisted by socrative media can improve chemistry learning outcomes for class X SMA. The study conducted was  quasi experimental design. The samples were randomly selected (simple random sampling) while the sample was X MIPA 1 as controll class and X MIPA 3 as experimental class. The independent variables of this study were the use of  jigsaw type cooperative learning model assisted by socrative media in the experimental class and the use of  jigsaw type cooperative learning model in the control class. The dependent variable in this study is chemistry learning outcomes. The chemistry learning outcomes were carried out by the N-gain test with the result that the student of experimental class has the most N-gain value in effective category of 63,88% compared to the controll class of 17,14%. The data in this study were declared abnormal and homogenous. Then, the hypothesis was carried out with Mann-Withney and Wilcoxon test. The result of the hypothesis test is there is an influence of the application of jigsaw type cooperative learning model assisted by socrative media on chemistry learning outcomes in class of X SMA.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model assisted by lectora inspire media on the chemistry science process skills of 10th grade students at SMAN 1 Lembar. This research uses a quasi eksperimental method. The research population consists of all 10th grade students at SMAN 1 Lembar, totaling 134 students from 4 classes. The sample was selected using cluster random sampling techniques. The research samples are Class X MIPA 1 as the experimental class using the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model assisted by lectora inspire based media and Class X MIPA 2 as the control class using conventional learning methods. Data collected include the results of science process skills tests and observations of teacher activities using the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model. The results of the science process skills test show that the N-Gain score for the experimental class is greater than the N-Gain score for the control class. The Presentation of the effectiveness of the PjBL model on students is as follows: 70.97% of students are not effective, 19.35% are less effective, 6.45% are moderately effective, dan 3.23% are effective. The t-test results indicate that the t-value > t-table. Observation of teacher activities using the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model has improved from the ‘good’ category to ‘very good’.
