Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang bagaimana manajemen JFC mengelola volunteer sebagai bagian dari sumberdaya manusia yang turut ikut serta dalam pelestarian budaya lokal. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis deskriftif. Penentuan daerah menggunakan teknik purposive area yaitu di Kecamatan Sumbersari Kabupaten Jember. Penentuan informan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, sedangkakn Untuk menggali data peneliti menggunakan teknik Snowball Sampling, Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data melalui reduksi data, display data, dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian ini adalah manajemen volunteer JFC dilaksanakan melalui empat tahap, yaitu persiapan, rekruitmen pembinaan dan evaluasi.

Abstract

Laporan Hasil Analisis (HA) PPATK dipandang sebagai laporan intelijen, sehingga tidak digunakan sebagai alat bukti dalam penanganan perkara Tindak Pidana Pencucian Uang (TPPU), Jika HA PPATK dapat dijadikan alat bukti dalam penanganan perkara TPPU akan memperkuat aparat penegak hukum untuk membuktikan TPPU. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui mengapa HA PPATK saat ini tidak dapat dijadikan alat bukti dalam penanganan perkara pencucian uang dan kemungkinan HA PPATK dapat menjadi Alat Bukti. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan normatif. Secara normatif ketentuan dalam peraturan perundang-undangan tidak dapat mengkualifisir laporan HA sebagai alat bukti, untuk dapat dijadikan alat bukti, HA harus memenuhi ketentuan Alat Bukti sebagaimana ditentukan dalam Pasal 184 Ayat (1) KUHAP. Adapun bentuk alat bukti pada laporan HA adalah dapat berupa surat sebagaimana yang dimaksud dalam ketentuan Pasal 184 ayat (1) huruf c yang dibuat atau disusun sesuai dengan Pasal 187 KUHAP yaitu atas sumpah jabatan sebagai ahli analis transaksi keuangan dan diterangkan melalui keterangan ahli pada proses peradilan seperti pada visum et repertum.

Abstract

Indonesia is highly susceptible to natural disasters, resulting in significant casualties and economic losses. The Pangandaran Regency in West Java is particularly vulnerable, especially to earthquakes and tsunamis. In 2006, a shallow earthquake with a magnitude of 7.7 triggered a tsunami along the Pangandaran coastline, primarily affecting residential, commercial, tourism, and industrial areas. The risk of disasters is a priority due to the proximity of the coast to the subduction zone and the region's history of earthquakes and tsunamis. In response to this potential threat, the Civil Engineering Study Program at Widyatama University organized a Community Service Activity focused on promoting earthquake-resistant buildings and establishing a mitigation corner to support disaster mitigation efforts in Cibenda Village, Parigi District, Pangandaran Regency. The activity involved providing educational materials on earthquake-resistant construction, setting up a mitigation corner, and distributing evacuation tools for disaster response. It is hoped that this initiative will enhance community knowledge about earthquake-resistant buildings and the use of disaster evacuation tools. The results showed a significant increase in the understanding and awareness of disaster-resilient construction and mitigation among the residents of Cibenda Village.

Abstract

Masakambing Island has administratively located in the District of Masalembu, Sumenep Regency, East Java province, Indonesia. This island is an endemic habitat for the yellow-crested cockatoo sub-species abbotti (Cacatua sulphurea abbotti). This research aims to discover the history of the people inhabiting Masakambing island and traces of  Bugis culture through the existence of the yellow-crested cockatoo. The study was conducted using a qualitative method with an ethnographic design. The study results show that the origin people who inhabited this island were from the Bugis ethnic group. The local name Beka' reflects how the yellow-crested cockatoo is very close to Bugis culture on Masakambing island. Besides, the Bugis ethnic who inhabit Sulawesi island is familiar with the yellow-crested cockatoo, sub-species sulphurea, and djampea. The existence of yellow-crested cockatoos on Masakambing island still triggers questions because the location of Masakambing island is outside the Wallace line, which is not common to find families of parrots such as yellow-crested cockatoos.

Abstract

Most solar power plants are not capable of operating independently at maximum capacity, the voltage characteristics of solar energy usually follow the voltage (V) of the storage (battery) or load (load) which is directly connected to solar energy. Of course, the irradiation received by the PV module does not always receive uniform radiation so that the power produced does not always have maximum power and causes double peaks. An MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) system is required to optimize PV output. However, the commonly used methods are often trapped by peaks below the optimal peak and require a long convergence time. This research compares the tracking performance and tracking time of two methods, FF (Firefly Algorithm) and PSO (Particle Swarm Optimization), to find the best performance in partial shadow conditions. The PSO algorithm has an average efficiency of 99.1043% and the FF algorithm has an average efficiency of 99.4073% in 10 trials in each of the 6 cases.

Abstract

Budidaya ikan lele di daerah desa Sidodadi Kecamatan Paiton sering menghadapi tantangan signifikan, termasuk keterbatasan waktu dan tenaga dalam memberi pakan serta keterbatasan akses listrik untuk mengoperasikan teknologi modern. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi masalah ini dengan memperkenalkan dan melatih penggunaan alat Fish Feeder otomatis yang menggunakan energi dari Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) kepada para petani budidaya lele. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan melalui serangkaian kegiatan pelatihan yang terstruktur. Pertama, dilakukan persiapan dan perencanaan yang mencakup penyusunan materi pelatihan, penjadwalan lokasi, dan persiapan peralatan demonstrasi. Kegiatan ini melibatkan tim pelaksana dan instruktur yang ahli dalam teknologi pertanian dan energi terbarukan. Tahap selanjutnya adalah pelaksanaan pelatihan, di mana instruktur dan fasilitator memimpin sesi pembelajaran mengenai instalasi, pengoperasian, dan pemeliharaan alat Fish Feeder otomatis. Peserta juga diberikan kesempatan untuk melakukan praktik langsung menggunakan alat tersebut. Solusi yang ditawarkan dalam pengabdian ini adalah meningkatkan efisiensi dalam pengelolaan pakan ikan lele dengan menggunakan alat otomatis yang dapat diandalkan serta memanfaatkan energi terbarukan dari PLTS untuk mengurangi ketergantungan pada listrik konvensional. Dengan demikian, diharapkan dapat mengurangi beban kerja petani dan meningkatkan produktivitas budidaya ikan lele secara berkelanjutan. Kesimpulannya, pengabdian ini bukan hanya memberikan solusi praktis terhadap masalah yang dihadapi petani budidaya lele, tetapi juga mendukung upaya penerapan teknologi ramah lingkungan di sektor pertanian. Dengan meningkatkan kapasitas petani dalam memanfaatkan teknologi modern dan energi terbarukan, diharapkan dapat memberikan dampak positif yang signifikan bagi kesejahteraan ekonomi dan sosial masyarakat pedesaan serta berkontribusi pada keberlanjutan lingkungan.

Abstract

In Indonesia, the legal protection of workers includes two basic aspects, namely protection from the power of the employer and protection from government action. Legal protection from the power of the employer is implemented if the regulations on labor are implemented by all parties. The purpose of providing legal protection to workers is to create good working relationships and ensure that the rights of workers are implemented and can be fully received in accordance with applicable regulations and labour agreements. The research method used normative juridical research with a statutory approach and conceptual approach. Basically, this employment agreement contains the rights and obligations of the parties, in this case employers and employees. In labor relations, legal protection aims to avoid the arbitrariness of one of the parties. Factors affecting legal protection of workers' rights due to termination of employment include the fact that there are still many business actors who do not carry out their obligations to provide rights to workers in accordance with applicable regulations. Protection related to the rights of workers affected by termination of employment has been regulated in Law Number 6 Year 2023, namely the fulfillment of workers' rights consisting of severance pay, long service pay, and compensation pay that should be received in accordance with the length of service in the company concerned.

Abstract

Learning media is a tool that can be used to optimize learning activities. The development of information technology can be utilized to design contemporary learning media, as has been done by lecturers of farming course in the Agribusiness Study Program at the University of Trunojoyo Madura (UTM). The lectures designed an information technology-based learning media, named Si-Cantik. This media has been applied to farming courses on odd semester 2019/2020. In order to find out students' perceptions of this media, a survey was conducted using seven indicators. The number of samples is 33 respondents. The results of the analysis showed that most respondents agreed that Si-Cantik learning media could provide a more detailed understanding of farming plan material, and could improve skills in farming plan made.

Abstract

The Consumer Protection Law does not expressively verbis state the protection of consumer personal data as part of consumer rights that must be protected by business actors. The existence of cybercrime and the negligence of business actors can cause leakage of consumer personal data to be something that needs to be anticipated. This paper aims to discuss the application of the PDP Law to consumer protection of personal data and how the form of liability of business actors in the perspective of the PDP Law in ensuring consumer protection. This paper uses normative research with a conceptual approach, a statutory approach, and a case approach. This paper also concluded that The handling of consumer disputes related to personal data breaches should be handled in parallel by applying the PDP Law and the Consumer Protection Law. Business actors should protect consumers' personal data based on the provisions prohibiting disclosing personal data unlawfully. The application of the principle of absolute accountability or strict liability is intended so that business actors can be fully responsible for the interests of consumers. In the event that there is negligence on the part of the business actor, resulting in a violation of the protection of consumers' personal data. Business actors cannot escape responsibility for any reason because they have neglected to protect consumers' personal data.

Abstract

The current problem is the low environmental awareness and ecoliteracy in children. The low awareness of children about the importance of caring behavior towards the environment is due to the absence of serious action from several parties to minimize this problem. This study aims to describe the implementation of the Environmental Wise Program (BILING) based on Project Learning to improve children's eco-literacy skills in the Lare Sinau Banyuwangi Community. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the BILING Program based on Project Learning is carried out through six stages including big questions, project design, schedule preparation, progress monitoring, outcome assessment, and experience evaluation. This program effectively encourages children to think critically and actively with a contextual and fun learning approach. The facilitator acts as a companion and guide. Parental participation and the Participatory Rural Appraisal approach increase children's sense of ownership and self-confidence. Children show increased eco-literacy skills in environmental understanding, caring attitudes, and sustainable practices. The BILING Program, which is based on project-based Learning, has a positive impact through a holistic and participatory approach.Keywords: BILING Program, Project Based Learning, Ecoliteracy Ability.
