Abstract

Universitas X, which is a private university, annually accepts new student registrations with fluctuating numbers over the last 10 years. The supply of lecture equipment did not match the number of new students who registered. Therefore, it is necessary to forecast the number of new students in the future, so that the supply of lecture equipment can be met. The purpose of this study is to determine the need for new student lecture equipment for the coming year using the double exponential smoothing forecasting method, find out the level of safety stock for the lecture equipment needs for the coming year, knowing the amount of inventory for lecture equipment using the forecasting method taking into account the safety stock in the coming year. The forecasting method used was the Double Exponential Smoothing method and determined safety stock as the safety stock for lecture equipment. The results showed that number of student for A.Y 2021/2022 was 2374 people and for A.Y 2022/2023 was 2.424 people with a total safety stock of 710 bukus. With a service level of 90%, the total supply of manuals for A.Y 2021/2022 is 3.084 bukus and for A.Y 2022/2023 was 3.134 bukus.

Abstract

Desa Cikurubuk, Kabupaten Sumedang, memiliki potensi sumber daya air yang besar dan mendukung pertanian, khususnya padi organik. Namun, pengelolaan infrastruktur pengairan masih menghadapi tantangan akibat rendahnya pemahaman masyarakat terhadap prinsip manajemen yang efektif dan berkelanjutan. Hal ini berpotensi menurunkan produktivitas pertanian dan meningkatkan risiko kerusakan lingkungan. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, dilakukan kegiatan pemberdayaan melalui sosialisasi dan pelatihan teknis yang sistematis. Kegiatan ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman, keterampilan, dan partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengelolaan infrastruktur pengairan yang efisien, adaptif, dan berkelanjutan. Metode partisipatif digunakan melalui sosialisasi, diskusi kelompok, dan simulasi manajemen pengairan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi lapangan, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai pentingnya pemeliharaan infrastruktur secara berkelanjutan. Warga menunjukkan partisipasi aktif dalam diskusi dan mulai menerapkan praktik manajemen pengairan. Simulasi memberi pengalaman praktis yang memperkuat pemahaman. Masyarakat juga mulai menyusun jadwal pemeliharaan rutin dan membentuk kelompok kerja pengelolaan bersama. Kegiatan ini efektif dalam membangun kesadaran kolektif dan mendorong aksi nyata menuju sistem pengairan yang lebih terstruktur dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

In the midst of the Covid 19 pandemic, many SMEs experienced a decline in their turnover due to business traffic and many economic activities being locked down, this had an impact on their income level. From the results of visits and interviews conducted with service partners, information was obtained from BERKAH KU freshwater fish farming, this business was founded in 2007 and has been running for 13 years within a period of 13 years. production and the existence of technology, and these things are very threatening to the existence and activities as well as cross-economy first during the COVID 19 pandemic. The minimal types of processed products include, among others, the selection of marketing communication media that are still active, the lack of knowledge of business actors about e-commerce platform. The existence of the Covid 19 pandemic is an unavoidable threat for all business actors not to do business for freshwater fish entrepreneurs because all businesses experienced a decline in turnover of almost 80%. Based on the results of research-based service that has been carried out, it can be said that the programs that have been planned and discussed will help improve marketing through the use of technology and product innovation. The first activity is program socialization in increasing knowledge about technology in marketing products. The second activity is to give demonstrations to partners by cheff in innovating products from raw fish raw materials into processed frozen food products

Abstract

Bali cattle is one of Indonesia's local cattle that has high economic potential. The quality of the semen used plays an important role as a factor in the success of artificial insemination (AI) programs. Climate change, including temperature variations, rainfall, and length of solar exposure, can affect the quality of fresh semen produced by bulls. Differences in environmental conditions can affect semen characteristics, such as spermatozoa concentration, motility, and morphology, which in turn have an impact on the field fertility rate. The aim of this study is to explore the differences in male fertility based on environmental conditions that change throughout the seasons. The research method used in this study is non-experimental, using secondary data on the quality of fresh semen and frozen semen production collected from the Regional AI Center, Bali Province. In addition, this study also used data from the big data of the National Animal Health Information System (iSIKHNAS) to calculate field fertility represented by conception rate. Climate data was obtained from the Indonesian Agency for Meteorological, Climatological and Geophysics (BMKG) Bali Province, the data collected was climate data in Tabanan Regency. The differences in the appearance of fresh semen quality, frozen semen production, and field fertility were analyzed using the Independent T-Test. In this study, there was no significant difference in fresh semen quality, frozen semen production, and field fertility (P>0.05) in all parameters, but the average reproductive performance of bali bulls was higher in the rainy season than in the dry season.

Abstract

Indonesia adalah negara rawan bencana alam seperti gempa bumi, erupsi gunung merapi serta kelongsoran yang diakibatkan oleh adanya fenomena aktifitas atau gerakan bumi. Fenomena alam yang terjadi ini tidak dapat diprediksi sehingga berdampak pada timbulnya korban jiwa yang merenggut nyawa orang. Meskipun banyak terjadi gempa dan dampak bencana yang diakibatkannya, ternyata masyarakat Indonesia masih memiliki pengetahuan yang kurang dalam menghadapi gempa dan mengurangi risikonya. Banyak korban yang jatuh akibat kurangnya pengetahuan tentang persiapan sebelum, saat, dan setelah terjadinya gempa. Sebagai upaya untuk membantu pemerintah dalam menangani dampak bencana, tim program studi teknik sipil Universitas Widyatama membuat kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yaitu Sosialisasi Bangunan Tahan Gempa dan Penyerahan Alat-alat Evakuasi Untuk Mendukung Upaya Mitigasi Bencana Alam di Kecamatan Parongpong. Metode yang digunakan dalam program ini yaitu memberikan penjelasan / sosialisasi tentang bangunan tahan gempa dan menyerahkan alat-alat untuk evakuasi mitigasi bencana. Hasil pengabdian akan berdampak pada pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai bangunan tahan gempa dan alat-alat evakuasi mitigasi bencana. Kami juga melakukan penyerahan alat-alat evakuasi mitigasi bencana. Persiapan berbagai peralatan dan perlengkapan yang berguna di saat ada kejadian darurat seperti gempa dapat meminimalisir musibah. Alat-alat evakuasi yang dimaksud misalnya seperti alat pemadam api ringan (APAR), senter, peluit, alat keselamatan standar, tas siaga bencana. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini yaitu adanya meningkatnya pengetahuan serta pemahaman warga Kecamatan Parongpong mengenai mitigasi bencana dan bangunan tahan bencana.

Abstract

Pembangkit listrik tenaga surya pada umumnya tidak dapat bekerja pada daya maksimum dengan sendirinnya, karakteristik tegangan PV pada umumnya mengikuti tegangan batarai atau beban yang terhubung langsung ke PV. Intensitas cahaya yang diterima oleh modul-modul PV pasti tidak semuanya mendapatkan iradiasi yang seragam, sehingga daya yang dihasilkan tidak optimal dan menimbulkan multi-peak. Untuk mengoptimalkan daya dari PV diperlukan sistem Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT). Namun metode yang sering digunakan masih sering terjebak dalam local peak dan waktu konvergen yang lama. jurnal ini membandingkan performa pelacakan dan waktu pelacakan menggunakan 2 metode, yaitu Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) dan Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO). Hasil percobaan menunjukkan algoritma ACO mempunyai efisiensi rata-rata keseluruhan yang lebih unggul 1,58% dari PSO, namun algoritma ACO lebih lambat dalam pelacakanya.

Abstract

Abstract: Road construction in Indonesia in the stage of implementation has not been able to fully meet the needs of transportation, it is indicated by the presence of early failure due to an increase in vehicle load and climate change. Many attempts have been made to improve the quality of the mixture, one with a polymer modified asphalt. Cigarette filters are made of cellulose acetate thousands of polymer chains, once discharged into the environment, cigarette filter making a big issue of the environmental impact. The content in the form of cigarette filter waste cellulosic polymer asitate which has thermoplastic properties, binding with plasticizers, resistant to heat and pressure. Therefore, it is necessary to study polymer modified asphalt with subtitution filter cigarettes waste into the asphalt. In this study, cigarette filter waste is substituted into the asphalt at 2%, 3%, and 4%. The aims of this study is able to know the utilization of filter cigarettes waste as improving the quality of asphalt concrete and efficient use of asphalt and waste reduction. The Impact of using cigarette filter waste higher in AC-WC mixture tend increased the parameter Marshall, especially the value of stability and MQ. The highest MQ and stability value obtained in AC-WC mixture with 4% subtitution cigarette filter waste and 5.81% asphalt content, those are 3107.67 kg and 112.81 kg / mm. No big changes in the VMA and density value for all substitution percentage variation of cigarette filter waste. VFA and flow value decrease with increasing the percentage of cigarette filter waste, while the VIM value tends to increase. The durability value of AC-WC mixture with and without substitution percentage variation cigarette filter waste meets the requirements, those were 90%.Abstrak: Pembangunan jalan di Indonesia dalam tahap pelaksanaanya belum mampu sepenuhnya memenuhi kebutuhan transportasi, hal tersebut terindikasi dengan adanya kerusakan dini akibat dari peningkatan beban kendaraan dan perubahan iklim. Banyak usaha telah dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas campuran, salah satunya dengan menggunakan aspal modifikasi polimer. Filter rokok terbuat dari ribuan rantai polimer selulosa asetat, setelah dibuang ke lingkungan, filter rokok membuat masalah besar akan dampak lingkungan. Kandungan di dalam limbah filter rokok tersebut berupa polimer selulosa asitate yang memiliki sifat termoplastik, berikatan dengan plasticizers, tahan terhadap panas dan tekanan. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan penelitian aspal modifikasi polimer dengan mensubtitusikan limbah filter rokok ke dalam aspal. Pada penelitian ini limbah filter rokok disubtitusikan ke dalam aspal sebesar 2%, 3%, dan 4%. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah dapat diketahuinya pemanfaatan limbah filter rokok sebagai upaya peningkatan mutu campuran aspal beton serta penghematan penggunaan aspal dan pengurangan limbah. Dampak penggunaan limbah filter rokok yang semakin tinggi dalam campuran AC-WC membuat peningkatkan pada nilai parameter Marshall, terutama nilai stabilitas dan MQ. Nilai stabilitas dan MQ tertinggi didapat pada campuran limbah filter rokok dengan persentase limbah filter rokok 4% dan kadar aspal 5,81% yaitu 3107,67 kg dan 112,81 kg/mm. Nilai density dan VMA tidak terjadi perubahan yang besar untuk semua substitusi variasi persentase limbah filter rokok. Nilai flow dan VFA mengalami penurunan seiring dengan peningkatan persentase limbah filter rokok, sedangkan nilai VIM cenderung meningkat. Untuk nilai durabilitas campuran AC-WC dengan dan tanpa substitusi variasi persentase limbah filter rokok telah memenuhi persyaratan yaitu 90%.

Abstract

Long pepper have a very large export market potential and high prices, but some farmers in Sumenep intend not to continue their long paepper farming because the income they earn was not much. The size of farmers' income can be influenced by product marketing channels. This research aims to determine the marketing channels, margins and marketing efficiency of long pepper in Madura, starting from farmers to exporters. The research was conducted in Sumenep Regency as the largest long pepper producer in Madura. Research respondents were farmers taken using a purposive sampling technique and marketing institutions (intermediary traders and exporters) taken using a snowball sampling technique. The instrument used to collect primary data is a questionnaire. Marketing channels are analyzed descriptively while marketing margins and efficiency are calculated using formulas adopted from references. Marketing efficiency is measured by indicators of farmer's share, cost and profit ratio, and the Acharya model marketing efficiency index. The research results show that there are three levels of marketing channels, namely 0-level, 1-level model A (the intermediary is the wholesaler and the final destination is the herbal medicine producer), B (the intermediary is the wholesaler and the final destination is the exporter), C (the intermediary is the processor and the final destination is the exporter), and 2-level where the intermediary traders are small and large collectors. The largest marketing margin is in the 1-level model C channel (IDR 33,000), while other channels are IDR 4000. All efficiency indicators show that all marketing channels are efficient.

Abstract

Desa Tanjung Rejo merupakan salah satu dari 20 desa di Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, Sumatera Utara, dengan kondisi geografis datar pada elevansi 7 meter di atas permukaan laut. Topografi datar ini mendukung pengembangan usaha peternakan. Biaya produksi usaha peternakan sebesar 60-70% umumnya berasal dari pengadaan pakan. Ketersediaan pakan hijauan yang terbatas akibat kondisi cuaca yang tidak menentu menjadi kendala dalam usaha peternakan. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian adalah memberikan edukasi dan pendampingan kepada peternak untuk mengelola pakan, serta memanfaatkan lahan kosong menjadi lahan produktif guna meningkatkan produksi susu kambing perah. Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan menggunakan metode partisipatif-aplikatif dengan dua agenda utama yaitu pembuatan pakan silase rumput dan penanaman benih jagung. Mitra kegiatan pengabdian ini terdiri atas 25 orang meliputi peternak, petani, ibu rumah tangga dan masyarakat umum. Rangkaian kegiatan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan, demonstrasi dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan peternak dalam mengelola pakan secara mandiri dan berkelanjutan. Teknologi silase rumput memberikan alternatif penyimpanan hijauan yang lebih tahan lama dengan kandungan nutrisi kompleks, sedangkan budidaya jagung pada lahan kosong peternak berpotensi meningkatkan ketersediaan pakan sumber energi dan protein. Kegiatan pengabdian ini diharapkan dapat berlanjut dengan pengujian kualitas nutrisi silase serta pemanfaatan berbagai limbah olahan pertanian lokal sebagai sumber pakan ternak alternatif lainnya.

Abstract

[EN] Run-off management is the main challenge of every big city. Land availability, project timeframe, and financing are several issues regarding run-off management implementation, including Indonesia’s Capital City, Jakarta. One of the engineering tools that used to reduce the negative impacts of run-off in Jakarta is Infiltration Well. Several researches on this topic confirm the positive impact of building infiltration well on small catchment area. This study aims to understand the efficacy of infiltration well project on big basin area, the Ciliwung Basin. Ciliwung basin is divided into two sub-basin, Upstream Ciliwung and Downstream Ciliwung. The analysis is performed using volumetric abstraction of infiltration well volume and daily infiltration rate. 4 rainfall stations are used in this study, 2-gauge rainfall stations on each basin. Infiltration well capacity is tested with different return-period rainfall based on daily and storm-rainfall (3-days cumulative rainfall). The results show that by implementing 1 million infiltration wells at each sub-basin the abstraction volume is below 10% for 10-year return period rainfall and below 5% for 25-year return period rainfall.
