Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of work-life balance on employee performance through work stress and workload at PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero), Tbk. Brawijaya Branch Office. Work-life balance is a balance between the demands of work and personal life owned by employees. Work stress refers to the level of pressure and stress experienced by employees due to heavy work demands, while the workload is the workload faced by employees in carrying out their work tasks. The research method used is a survey with a questionnaire distributed to employees at the Brawijaya Branch Office. The data collected was then analyzed using statistical techniques to identify the relationship between the variables studied. The results showed that work-life balance has a positive effect on employee performance at PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero), Tbk. Brawijaya Branch Office. In addition, work stress and workload have also proven to have a significant effect on employee performance, where high work stress and workload tend to reduce employee performance. In further analysis, this study also found that work-life balance functions as a mediator between work stress and workload and employee performance. That is, a good work-life balance can help reduce the level of work stress and workload experienced by employees, which in turn increases their performance. This research provides a further understanding of the importance of work-life balance in improving employee performance in the work environment of PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero), Tbk. Brawijaya Branch Office. The implications of this finding can help management to implement policies and programs that support a balanced work-life balance to improve employee welfare and productivity. However, keep in mind that other factors can also affect employee performance and could be an area of further research

Abstract

Business is an action that has to be completed in the ongoing period of globalization and industrialization, especially after the Coronavirus. The development of the Indonesian state through its entrepreneurship can compete and even outperform other developing countries that have more entrepreneurs. This research uses a quantitative approach with Partial Least Squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) to predict and confirm the given hypothesis. This study used Google Forms for data collection on Madrasah Aliyah students in Mojokerto Regency. Respondents in this study were 356 respondents from the three schools used as research objects. The results showed that Entrepreneurial Literacy can explain Self-efficacy and Entrepreneurial Intention. Furthermore, Entrepreneurial Literacy will have more influence on Entrepreneurial Intention, if strengthened by Self Efficacy as a mediator variable.

Abstract

Grit plays a pivotal role in supporting students’ academic success, especially when navigating challenges in higher education. This study examined the relationship of internal locus of control on grit with social support as a moderator among undergraduate students. Conducted among 423 undergraduate students from six universities in Malang City, East Java, the study utilized Cluster and Random Sampling techniques. Data were gathered using Indonesian-adapted scales: the Triarchic Model of Grit, Academic Locus of Control, and Multidimensional Perceived Social Support. Data analysis was performed using the Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) method. The results showed that internal locus of control has a significant influence on students' grit, with social support serving as a moderating variable (F Change = 16.245, p = 0.01). This finding suggests that social support enhances the effect of internal locus of control on students' grit, referring to the assistance and encouragement individuals receive from their social networks. Keywords: grit, internal locus of control, social support, undergraduate students, moderation

The effectiveness of model was verified through fieldtesting based on pre-test/post-test without control group design in workshop forum. The sample was takenby using a purposive technique including sample of KPRIs and personnel samples of KPRI. Data wereanalyzed by using paired-samples t test and one-sample t test. The result showed that the field testing ofmodel in workshop forum: (1) contributed positively to KPRIs personnels attitude; (2) affected in increasingKPRIs personnels knowledge of the model principles; and (3) was effective in both its process andproduct. Following up the field testing of model in workshop forum, the further researches based on operationalfield testing are very important to conduct. Abstract

This study aims to explore how brand experience and customer brand engagement contribute to the formation of brand loyalty and, ultimately, to the economic value of the brand, with brand trust serving as a mediating variable. The research focuses on users of NPURE skincare products within the PURE FRIENDS community on WhatsApp. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected through an online questionnaire, with a total of 159 respondents selected through purposive sampling. The sample size was determined using an online sample size calculator (calculator.net). The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4 software. The findings reveal that brand experience has a positive and significant effect on brand loyalty, mediated by brand trust. Although customer brand engagement does not directly influence brand loyalty significantly, brand trust plays a mediating role in strengthening this relationship. These results suggest that enhancing brand experience and engagement—supported by strong brand trust—can contribute to building not only brand loyalty but also long-term economic brand value.

Abstract

This study investigates the relationship between financial literacy, financial technology (FinTech), and contemporary innovation in Islamic economic law and how these factors influence the sustainability of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia and Malaysia. Using a qualitative research design, this study gathers and analyses data through comprehensive literature reviews, in-depth interviews with key MSME stakeholders, and targeted surveys involving entrepreneurs within a Sharia-compliant framework. The findings suggest that a high level of financial literacy, effective utilisation of Sharia-based FinTech solutions, and responsiveness to contemporary innovations in Islamic economic law significantly enhance MSMEs' competitiveness and long-term sustainability. These elements facilitate better financial decision-making and operational efficiency and strengthen consumer trust in Sharia-compliant business practices. However, the study also identifies persistent barriers, including uneven financial literacy levels among MSME actors, limited digital infrastructure in rural areas, and insufficient access to appropriate FinTech platforms tailored to Islamic economic values. Furthermore, the research emphasises the critical role of coordinated government policies, institutional support, and multi-stakeholder collaboration in fostering a robust ecosystem that nurtures the growth of Sharia-compliant MSMEs in the digital age. The insights offered by this study contribute meaningfully to the academic discourse on Islamic economics and provide practical recommendations for policymakers, financial institutions, and business practitioners. Ultimately, the research highlights the strategic importance of MSMEs as catalysts for inclusive, ethical, and sustainable economic development in Indonesia and Malaysia.

Abstract

This study examines the role of Entrepreneurship Education (EE) and Entrepreneurial Role Models (ERM) in fostering Entrepreneurial Action (EA) among Indonesian high school students, using Entrepreneurial Intention (EI) as a mediating factor. While national economic growth relies on entrepreneurship, Indonesia's entrepreneurship rate remains low, highlighting a critical gap in high school students' transition from learning to action. Employing a quantitative approach with Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) on data from 322 public high school (SMA and SMK Negeri) students in Mojokerto, the results show that EE and ERM significantly and positively influence EA both directly and indirectly through EI. Specifically, ERM exhibits a stronger indirect effect on EA (β = 0.268) compared to EE (β = 0.196), confirming that the presence of successful figures is more effective in galvanizing students' intention to act compared to classroom learning. This research validates the Theory of Planned Behavior and the Social Cognitive Career Theory in the context of Indonesian youth, emphasizing that EI serves as a crucial psychological bridge linking external motivators to tangible entrepreneurial behavior. The findings suggest that educational policy should integrate experiential learning with active, diverse role model exposure to cultivate robust entrepreneurial action in future generations
