Abstract

Indonesia sebagai salah satu negara berkembang di Asia dan menganut Civil Law System, masih menerapkan dan memberlakukan pidana mati. Sementara, Amerika Serikat yang merupakan negara maju dan menganut common law system, masih menggunakan pidana mati sebagai salah satu alat kontrol sosial (Social Control) di beberapa negara bagian. Penelitian ini mengkaji lebih lanjut undang-undang nomor 1 tahun 2023 tentang kitab undang-undang hukum pidana dan membandingkan hukuman mati Indonesia dan Amerika Serikat.Hasil analisis menympulkan bahwa pidana mati masih diatur dalam ketentuan Undang-Undang Nomor 1 tahun 2023 yang secara normatif dapat diterapkan dalam tindak pidana yang merumuskan pemberian ancaman pidana mati bagi pelaku yang terbukti melakukan tindak pidana berdasarkan pada keputusan hakim yang memperoleh kekuatan hukum tetap. Pidana mati masih digunakan di negara Amerika Serikat dengan dasar dalam mencegah pada kejahatan tertentu walau nyatanya tidak berefek secara signifikan terhadap pencegahan kejahatan dan dalam U.S code yaitu pidana pembunuhan berencana ini masuk dalam kualifikasi yang disebut dengan first-degree murder. Ancaman pidananya pun hanya pidana mati atau pidana seumur hidup sehingga dalam segi tindak pidananya pembunuhan berencana masuk dalam tindak pidana yang diancam dengan pidana mati.

Abstract

Ecoprint, a fabric printing and dyeing technique utilizing natural dyes with leaves, is currently experiencing a surge in demand and becoming a trend among fashion entrepreneurs and textile craftsmen. The unique patterns created from leaves distinguish ecoprint from traditional batik designs in the market, making it highly appealing. Apietz Craft, a Small and Medium Enterprise (SME), was established at the beginning of 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic. Mostly operated by residents of Jl. Hasyim Ashari II, Sepanjang Village, Gondanglegi District, Malang Regency, the business faced challenges during the ecoprint fabric steaming process. The issues stemmed from the small size of the steaming pot and the lack of temperature control, leading to a decline in fabric quality. These obstacles hindered the ecoprint production process, resulting in suboptimal outcomes. In response to these challenges, this PKM program proposes a solution by introducing a technology transfer initiative. A smart steamer machine will be implemented, designed to accommodate a larger capacity and capable of monitoring temperature within the machine. This advancement aims to enhance production quality and improve production efficiency. The initiative is expected to address the current issues faced by our partner, enabling them to achieve optimal ecoprint fabric production. Abstract

Learning media can contribute to improving learning outcomes. By using the right media, learners can help students learn more productively, interactively, and according to their characteristics. This research was conducted to produce media, using the Borg and Gall development model. The activity begins with the analysis of learner needs, followed by the identification of components and the design of products that are ready to be tested and revised so that they can be optimally utilized. This development research produces Flipbook-Based e-book Learning Media using Canva and Flipbook Maker Software, which can be used in Basic Marketing Subjects, professional field worker training programs, or for prospective entrepreneurs in the marketing field. Product trials were carried out in three stages, through expert testing, small group testing, and field testing stages following the education calendar in vocational schools. At the end of each testing stage, evaluation and revision activities are carried out, so that the final product can reach the ready-to-use level and has the feasibility to be utilized

Abstract

The development of the industrial world which is increasingly developing at this time will lead to high competition in the industrial world. So that the profits of each company also have an influence. New ideas are urgently needed to bring the business world in a more advanced direction so that it can keep up with increasingly fierce competition. Terang Alam Semesta is one of the MSMEs that operates in the Bag Manufacturing Sector. In this research, the Linear programming method is used as an operational research model in applied mathematics studies which is widely used in industry and business organizations and can be used in the process of obtaining solutions and solving production problems. From the results of research using POM for Windows software, it was found that Terang Alam Semesta would gain maximum profits if it could produce 15 Premium Leather Bags and 10 Semi-Leather Bags with a profit of IDR. 900,000 per day.

Abstract

In 2020, the Corona virus or Covid-19 was declared a global pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO). This virus significantly affected and disrupted the activities of society, including the construction sector. In response to this situation, the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) issued a policy in Ministerial Instruction No. 02 of 2020 regarding the protocol for the prevention of the spread of the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) in the implementation of construction services. The purpose of this research was to measure the effectiveness level of the policy that had been established and to identify the factors influencing the compliance level of construction workers with the Covid-19 prevention policy. Data was collected from construction projects in the Special Region of Yogyakarta province through offline means using the Likert scale. The data was subsequently analyzed using SPSS and SmartPLS for the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method. The results indicated that the Ministerial Instruction No. 02 of 2020 issued by the Minister of PUPR had been effectively implemented throughout 2021 and 2022. It was also revealed that certain factors directly and significantly influenced workers' compliance. These factors included workers' understanding and the availability of facilities and infrastructure, with calculated t-values exceeding 1.960 and p-values less than 0.05.

Abstract

Semakin berkembang peradapan dunia menuntut guru untuk ikut menyesuaikan keilmuan yang dimilikinya. Guru dituntut untuk meningkatkan kemampuannya terutama dalam kemapuan profesional dalam penguasaan materi. Sehingga seorang guru harus memiliki advance materials atau pengembangan materi lanjutan bidang keilmuannya. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan pengabdian ini antara lain: 1) ceramah; 2) tanya jawab; 3) praktek, dan 4) pendampingan. Peserta dalam kegiatan ini adalah anggota MGMP Bisnis Daring Pemasaran Kabupaten Malang. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan dapat diketahui seluruh peserta sudah memiliki pemahaman terkait perkembangan materi pembelajaran di program studi Bisnis Daring Pemasaran. Seluruh peserta juga sudah memiliki pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang pengoperasian dan penerapan platform pengiklanan digital. Serta seluruh peserta sudah memiliki pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang advanced materials pengiklanan digital.

Abstract

The emergence of a group of professional teachers in the field of ICT-based business education can be a driver for the birth of a group of young people who are market players for goods and services in the local, regional, national and global economy in the future. However, what learning strategies can be used and how to implement them in higher education is one of the efforts that must be prioritized for its realization. This study was conducted to test the effect of project-based learning models to improve students' abilities in making business plan projects. The research design used was a pre-experiment on 105 students starting from an initial competency analysis, selection of exercises in group assignments, and project assignments, followed by providing treatment with the application of PjBL in real class situations, data collection, and analysis of results. Data on improving managerial abilities and business plan making skills were analyzed using one-way analysis of variance. The results showed that the application of project-based learning can improve the ability to make business plan projects at a significance level of 5%.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has resulted in a transformation in the educational paradigm, forcing educators to reformulate their learning models. In this context, technology integration becomes imperative, encouraging teachers to utilize technological tools in the learning process. Despite the abundance of free online learning resources, it remains crucial to align them with real classroom dynamics. In response to this change, an innovative workshop was held at SMK Islam Batu, with the main objective of strengthening educators' competencies in the utilization of technology in learning, particularly through the Genially platform. The workshop explored teachers' skills in technology utilization, with an emphasis on using Genially as a tool to produce interactive and engaging learning content. The results of this workshop were impressive. Teachers not only improved their understanding of technology, but were also able to apply this knowledge effectively in their learning. The positive impact of this change in approach can also be seen in the quality of learning at SMK Islam Batu, where learning becomes more powerful, engaging and interactive. The success of this workshop has wider implications that extend beyond the school itself.
