The core of this study is focused on one of thefactors that affect the performance of a teacher that is an incentive. Based on the above, the purpose of this research is to know is there any incentive effect on the performanceand motivation of teachers at MTs Nurul Huda Sedati. The results using the F testknown that Incentive (X1), and motivation (X2) has positive influence on performance(Y), with a significance level of less than 0.05. Effect of incentives (X1), and motivation(X2) on the performance (Y) shows the positive direction, meaning that the higher theincentive (X1) and motivation (X2) is good, the higher performance of a given teacher. This incentive is a component that is worth more to the teachers at MTs Nurul HudaKalanganyar Sedati, they should each teacher must provide performance that isproportional as experts and motivate yourself and comrade in order to create arelationship of positive feedback between teacher one with teachers the others and thecreation of a good cooperation in education. Keywords: incentive, motivation and performance

Abstract

Ergonomic Design is the design tooptimizing the relationship between technology and human error. Ergonomic design are use for optimizing efficiency and safety. It takes in account relevan human characteristic of the operator and the design such system to te compatible with those characteristic. Ergonomic design are widely use in industries where occupational health and safety are considered as vital contributors to productivity and competitiveness. From the observation of the process, we can see that the operators isgreatly exposed to several manual matrial handling rish factors. Lijt/fo wer analysis and RULA assessment are performed in assessing the degree of discomfort present in the work process. Then tree the new design are proposed as an ergonomic intervention. These the new design are analyzed to measure the erformance of each new design. This analysis is performed using CATIA. This technique can be applied by designer to improve the working conditions, wherw machine operators are experiencing discomfort and ergonomic intervention is immediately  required.

Abstract

Reduce fatigue and saturation levels of employees in a company's performance will affect the results and how they work in completing a job. Shift work system settings are useful for the company because with the shift work system will be able to improve performance and reduce employee complaints. Analyses were performed by the method of Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Weighting the results indicate that the type of complaints for the morning shift caused by physical factors of 62 299%, with sub-criteria of 58 277% fatigue. On the night shift, the most influential type of complaint is the physical factor of 50 616%, with sub-criteria of fatigue by 59.1%. Setting a new work shift in the recommended improvements that include changes in rotation length. Arrangements made by rotating shifts some employees who are divided into groups or group. Setting a new work shift system increases job performance of employees and reduce the level of employee complaints. Turnover shift work increases the sense of responsibility and work together as a team work. Shift work rotation to reduce employee complaints of fatigue in nature because the conditions of a monotonous work environment.

Abstract

This research is designed to analyze critical success factors which consisted of support of top management, the contribution of project management, implementation of education and training, user involvement in the success of ERP system implementation at PT. EDS Manufacturing Indonesia. The research method used is multiple linear regression analysis using questionnaire distribution. The population was the company employees, with 59 respondents being used as samples. The sampling method is purposive sampling, which was taken from various strata in the company that is actively involved in the implementation and use of the ERP system. The hypothesis testing was carried out using a validity test, reliability test, t-test, and F-test as well as quantitative descriptive analysis. Data was obtained by using a questionnaire instrument containing a list of statements to measure respondents according to research variables. The results indicate that partially, the contribution of project management has a significant effect on the success of ERP systems implementation. While the support of top management, implementation of education and training and user involvement does not have a significant effect on the success of ERP system implementation. All critical factors success can explain their relationship to the success of ERP system implementation by 31.0%.

Abstract

The paper presents an analysis of the leadership effect, communication, and job satisfaction to organizational commitment in the banking firm. The Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) is used to analyze the causality pattern of the involved variables. In addition, to measure the influence among the variables defined, survey method is implemented. The population used was all staff of state and private banks in East Java Area with 200 respondents. The study result shows that the direct effect of leadership gives significant positive impact to the organizational communication and organizational commitment. On the other hand, there is no significance impact of the leadership to the job satisfaction. There is no effect of indirect, positive significance of leadership on organizational commitment with job satisfaction intervening. There is no direct influence, the positive significance of leadership on organizational commitment by intervening organizational communication and job satisfaction.

Abstract

Maintenance Activity Planning by Reability Centered Maintenance II Method. This research discusses maintenance activity planning using the RCM II method to evaluate failure function risk on compresor screw. The calculation of maintenance time is performed by considering maintenance and repair costs. The risk evaluation result with RPN shows that the critical component that needs to get the main priority in applying maintenance on compresor screw is function disorder on timeworn piston and on the broken outgoing air sponge’s filter that receives RPN 45. The optimum maintenance time calculation is applied on components that undergo scheduled restoration and scheduled discard task so that this action becomes technically feasible in decreasing the consequence of damage. The optimum maintenance time value that is acquired to prevent damage on compresor screw is lower than the value of its MTTF, which demonstrates that optimum maintenance time will be significant in avoiding component function damage before the damage happens.

Abstract

This paper presents the effects of Indonesian government’s developmental efforts of assistance and training performed on the growth of LED-SME business units and business performance. Both parameters of the government’s assistance and training were used to analyze the impact to the growth and performance of business unit. To achieve a comprehensive result, samples acquired in this research were about 190 entrepreneurs and managers of LED-SME from East Java. Based on the parameters above, there are five hypotheses made to prove the relationship of the assistance and training to the growth and performance of business units. The structural equation modeling (SEM) was carried out to test the hypotheses. The results have shown that the government’s developmental efforts through both assistance and training for the LED-SME were capable on increasing growth and performance of business units. On the other hand, government’s developmental efforts through only trainings were incapable of directly affecting growth of LED-SME business units and performance. To improve the business unit and performance, the government needs to implement developmental principles of LED-SME with the basis of utilizing local natural resources and also the communities of LED-SME as main suppliers for their local markets. In addition, preservation and development of local cultural and traditional arts also need to be the government’s main concern.

Abstract

The present study describes the relationships between commitment, communication, satisfaction, trust, relationship quality with suppliers, and supply-chain performance. The population of the study was manufacturing companies in Indonesia. Respondents were the chief executive officers or corporate secretaries or the designated managers involved in strategic decision making. Samples were taken by using a proportional area random sampling technique. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was used for analysis. Results of both direct and indirect testing of hypothesis indicated two hypotheses of positive and significant effects and nine hypotheses of positive but insignificant effects. Those hypotheses of positive and significant effects were the direct effects of trust on supply-chain performance and the direct effects of relationship quality on supply chain performance.
