Abstract

Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) play an important role in economic growth, job creation, and driving innovation. However, the competitiveness of SMEs is often hampered by weak protection of intellectual capital assets, particularly in aspects of intellectual property related to SME trademarks. This article examines the urgency of establishing a comprehensive legal framework to protect intellectual capital assets, specifically in aspects of intellectual property related to SME trademarks, as a strategic effort to promote innovation and improve SME performance. The research method used is normative legal research with a legislative, conceptual, and comparative approach to the practice of intellectual property law protection with South Korea and Singapore. The findings demonstrate three central points. First, Indonesian culinary SMEs actively confront major obstacles in implementing legal protection for intellectual capital assets, particularly intellectual property. Complex registration bureaucracy, high administrative costs, weak law enforcement, and low literacy among business owners directly hinder their capacity to innovate and compete. Second, comparisons with South Korea and Singapore illustrate that states can significantly enhance SME competitiveness by integrating efficient intellectual property protection systems with economic incentives and by cultivating a strong legal culture. Third, Indonesia must design and implement a responsive, inclusive, and adaptable model of intellectual capital protection, particularly in the field of intellectual property. Policymakers can achieve this goal by simplifying regulations, strengthening regional institutions, and advancing public education. Through these measures, intellectual property will operate not merely as a legal safeguard but as a strategic asset that stimulates innovation, broadens access to financing, and empowers culinary SMEs to become a driving force in building a globally competitive creative economy.

Abstract

Abstract

Sei Balai River, precisely in Nibung Hangus/Tanjung Tiram District, Batu Bara Regency, is one of the rivers in the Bah Bolon River Area (WS). Sei Balai River has experienced flooding several times and caused landslides on the riverbanks. One of the most critical locations is in Lima Beras Village, Nibung Hangus/Tanjung Tiram District, Batu Bara Regency, which has damaged the riverbanks which are feared that if not handled early, it may result in the breaking of community access roads in the mobilization and demobilization of agricultural and plantation products in the village. Based on the results of the geotechnical investigation, it was concluded that the Bearing Capacity Value of the Shallow Foundation Permit from the qc Data was obtained at No. Test. S - 1, with a depth of 5 meters, the permitted bearing capacity (Qi) was 3.8 (Ton / m2) with a square foundation width B = 1 m and No. Test. S – 2, with a depth of 5 meters, the permissible bearing capacity (Qi) is 4.53 (Ton/m2) B = 1 m

Abstract

With air pollution, many dirty particles easily adhere to people's skin, through the function of body care products to complete the daily maintenance work. There are too many body care products on the market, consumers will not buy because of the relationship of brand reputation when purchasing. In addition, counters use different promotional tools to attract consumers to buy, such as providing independent or open skin care and beauty spaces. Will consumers purchase the home's products due to the skin care and beauty services offered by the skin care and beauty space? Therefore, this study uses 2×2 experimental design to analyse the brand reputation of counter body care products and the impact of whether there is an additional skin care and beauty space on consumers' purchase intentions. The results of this study show that consumers will choose high-profile brands to buy skin care products. Moreover, this study confirms that skin care and beauty space settings have an impact on purchase intentions. Therefore, this study suggests that operators can increase brand reputation and provide skin care and beauty spaces to stimulate consumer's willingness to buy.

Abstract

Digital Transformation is a hot and trending topic, and many organizations are trying to learn and implement. Some of them are successful, but there are also those who have not succeeded in carrying out Digital Transformation. There are quite numerous articles and researches on Digital Transformation Success, yet none of them focus on how Successful Digital Transformations Standard should be developed. For this reason, it is necessary to map the articles and research progress on this topic by carrying out a Bibliometric Analysis. We found 76 articles focusing on Digital Transformation Success by “title” published between 1996 to 2022 with search strings (“digital transformation” AND success). With this methodology we identified how authors have made collaborations on this topic and most related significant terms. The present study provides insight and reveals what things have been explored and discussed, and we found a necessity for further research with a purpose of determining a Reliable Standard for Successful Digital Transformation. However, this paper has limitations because it is only based on Google Scholar database.
