Abstract

This study presents a novel approach to Arabic language instruction through the creation of interactive learning media using the Google Sites application, guided by the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The goal of the research is to develop effective and engaging digital resources for Arabic language learners. The study utilizes a design-based research methodology, incorporating iterative cycles of design, development, and evaluation. Results indicate that the developed interactive learning media significantly enhance learners' engagement and comprehension of Arabic language concepts. Implications suggest that such innovative instructional materials offer a promising avenue for language educators to enhance the quality of language learning experiences and promote better student outcomes in language acquisition. Highlights: Innovative Approach: This study introduces an innovative method of language instruction by creating interactive learning media using the Google Sites application, guided by the systematic ADDIE model. Enhanced Engagement: The research highlights the development of interactive digital resources that significantly enhance learners' engagement and comprehension of Arabic language concepts, fostering a more dynamic learning experience. Abstract

This study examines the occurrences and benefits of fi'il tsulasi mazid (trilateral verbs with additional letters) in Surah Az-Zukhruf, focusing on Arabic language learning and Qur'anic comprehension. Through a detailed analysis, we identified 57 instances of these verbs and categorized them based on their forms and types. Results indicate that the most common verb types are af'ala yuf'ilu and ifta'ala yafta'ilu, while others include fa'ala yufa'ilu and faa'ala yufaa'ilu. Various benefits of these verb forms, such as litta'diyah, littikhad, and littahawul, were identified. This research provides valuable insights for Arabic language educators, allowing them to better explain linguistic changes and improve students' understanding of Arabic as the language of the Qur'an. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the attitudes of junior high school students towards the values of Islamic religious education, spiritual intelligence, and compliance with regulations. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach involving Islamic Religious Education teachers, counseling teachers, and students. The techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. Observation is used to systematically observe and document a symptom or phenomenon that occurs in research subjects. Observation is a data collection method in which researchers make direct observations of schools by paying closer attention to how children behave, regulations that apply, and activities that are carried out. Students' spiritual intelligence will increase and develop by implementing the values of Islamic Religious Education which have been carried out continuously in daily life. Islamic Religious Education Teachers instill spiritual intelligence by aligning Islamic Religious Education values and strategies so that Islamic values can be well instilled so that the intelligence of students in complying with regulations with sanctions from the school runs as a whole.

Abstract

This study analyzes the principles of counseling guidance in the Quran, focusing on Surah Luqman verses 12-19, and examines their implementation at the Darussalam Islamic boarding school. A qualitative approach with a descriptive method was employed, utilizing literature review, documentation, and interviews with BK teachers, caregivers, and students. Observations of students' daily behavior and their relationships with caregivers were also conducted. The research revealed that the counseling guidance at Darussalam Islamic boarding school is based on the Quran, particularly Surah Luqman verses 12-19. The "al mauidzah al hasanah" approach, characterized by gentle and kind language, is predominantly used, as it is more easily accepted by students. However, the "bil hikmah" approach is applied to students who are resistant to advice or when the "al mauidzah al hasanah" approach fails to resolve their issues. Interviews with the dormitory head, BK teachers, and students confirmed that the school not only uses the Quran as a teaching tool but also as a means of addressing students' problems. This reflects the integration of Quranic principles into the school's counseling guidance, demonstrating the Quran's role as both a source of knowledge and a practical tool for problem-solving within the school environment.

Abstract

Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menganalisis problematika pembelajaran kitab kuning di MA Islam Terpadu Darul Fikri, Sidoarjo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Metode pengumpulan data penelitian diperoleh dari wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Untuk memastikan validitas data, peneliti menggunakan triangulasi data. Berdasarkan penelitian ini, ditemukan beberapa faktor kesulitan peserta didik (santri) dalam memahami kitab kuning yaitu: 1) faktor internal; faktor internal peserta didik (santri) kesulitan memhami kitab kuning yaitu: a) kesulitan membaca teks berbahasa Arab, b) kesulitan menulis teks berbahasa Arab, c) kesulitan berbicara dengan menggunakan bahasa Arab, d) dan menurunnya minat serta motivasi peserta didik (santri) untuk mempelajari kitab kuning. Adapun faktor eksternal yaitu: a) metode pembelajaran yang tidak tepat, b) program yang belum optimal, c) kemandirian belajar peserta didik (santri) belum muncul, d) dan kompetensi pedagogik pendidik (ustadz) belum maksimal. 2) Upaya-paya yang ditempuh oleh MA Islam Terpadu Darul Fikri, Sidoarjo yaitu: a) mengklasifikasi peserta didik (santri), b) memberikan motivasi, c) mengadakan pelatihan pembelajaran kitab kuning berbasis digital, d) melakukan supervisi dan evaluasi, e) mengintegrasikan pembelajaran kitab kuning di sekolah dan pesantren, f) memodifikasi kurikulum, g) dan membuat rencana tindak lanjut (RTL) pembelajaran kitab kuning pada tahun berikutnya.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategies for developing an Arabic language environment at MA Dafi Pesantren Al Qur’an Science and its impact on students' language skills. The research employs a qualitative case study approach through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that the formation of the Arabic language environment is implemented systematically through various programs such as muhadatsah (daily conversation), insya’ (essay writing), imla’ (dictation), and Yaumul Lughah (Language Day). Both the physical and social environments are designed to support the daily use of Arabic by the students. This strategy not only enhances students’ speaking (maharah kalam) and writing (maharah kitabah) skills but also fosters a consistent and enjoyable language culture. The positive impact of the program includes increased student confidence, improved writing skills, and the institution’s growing reputation as a leading center for Arabic language education. MA Dafi has also become a reference model for other educational institutions and produces alumni with high competence and competitiveness in both academic and professional fields, domestically and internationally.

Abstract

Integrated Islamic School is a school whose curriculum integrates Islamic values, skills and national curriculum. The purpose of this research is to describe curriculum design in integrated Islamic schools by taking a research site at SMPIT Insan Kamil Sidoarjo. This research uses a qualitative approach with case study. The research data obtained from interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed by reducing data, presenting data, and making conclusions. The results showed that the curriculum design in SMPIT Insan Kamil Sidoarjo emphasized the internalization of Islamic values in every national curriculum content, without overriding the national curriculum set by the Ministry of Education. The assessment process is the main objective created in the learning environment and the content of teaching materials that are loaded with Islamic values. While the purpose of the curriculum design is, so that students have a strong foundation of religious education, which boils down to the strength of aqeedah and moral perfection. Internalization of Islamic values in integrated Islamic schools is not only done through the subjects taught, but through the design of school activities programs that support the inculcation of Islamic values in students.

Abstract

This study aims to understand and analyze the application of management functions in Islamic education, especially in the POAC aspect (Planning, Organizing, Implementing, and Controlling). This study applies the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method by following the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) guidelines in the process of selecting and analyzing literature related to management functions published from 2019 to 2024. A total of 10 articles were downloaded from the Lens.org database as a source of information. The results of the study indicated that in Islamic education, the planning role focuses on developing a curriculum that is in line with Islamic values and strengthening students' morals. The organizing function focuses on a flexible and cooperative institutional structure, while the actuating function is carried out through Islamic leadership that provides motivation and inspiration. The controlling function is carried out through evaluation based on spiritual accountability and ethical responsibility. This study states that the application of management functions in Islamic education aims not only to achieve operational efficiency, but also to internalize deep spiritual values. This finding offers a new view for Islamic education managers in maximizing the role of management based on Islamic principles.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the application of communicative methods in teaching students' maharah kalam (speaking ability) and the supporting and inhibiting factors in its application at SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Tanggulangin Sidoarjo. This research uses qualitative methods to understand this phenomenon in depth from the perspective of students, teachers and other related parties. Data collection was carried out through observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation and data verification. Results The research results show that the application of communicative methods in teaching maharah kalam can be done in this way role playing (role playing), group discussions, use of interactive media and integration of language skills. Meanwhile, the supporting factors are institutional support, teacher competence and creativity, and student motivation and active participation. The inhibiting factors are limited learning facilities, variations in language abilities among students, limited mastery of methods by teachers, and technological barriers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis manajemen pendidikan islam berdasarkan Kisah Nabi MusaAS dan Nabi KhidirAS dalam Surat Al-Kahfi Ayat 60-82. Metode penelitian kualitatif dengan library research dimana utamanya sumber penelitian berasal dari buku, skripsi atau thesis terdahulu dan artikel laporan terdahulu. Nantinya, dalam penfasirkan menggunakan metode deskriptif-analitik menggunakan tematik Maudhu’I yang berfokus pada pengkajian masalah secara runtut dari ayat 60 hingga ke 82 secara urut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Dalam proses pendidikan, pemilihan metode yang tepat oleh pendidik sangat penting. Nabi Khidir mencontohkan metode pembelajaran melalui pembiasaan untuk tidak tergesa-gesa dalam mengambil kesimpulan, dengan berpedoman pada ilmu yang dimilikinya.
