Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan mengenai urgensi dari meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman matematis dalam mempelajari matematika khususnya pada materi bangun datar. Untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman matematis peserta didik maka penelitian ini membahas mengenai media SMARD yang dibandingkan dengan media konvensional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media SMARD terhadap pemahaman matematis peserta didik kelas VI. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan pretest dan postest Non-Equivalent Control Group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VI se-kecamatan Cihaurbeuti dengan jumlah keseluruhan sebanyak 29 sekolah. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan Teknik nonprobability sampling sehingga dipilih SDN Padamulya 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen atau dengan menggunakan media SMARD dan SDN Padamulya 2 sebagai kelas kontrol dengan pembelajaran konvensional menggunakan media power point. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes kemampuan pemahaman matematis. Uji hipotesis pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji Wilcoxon dan uji N-Gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, (1) Media SMARD memberikan pengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemahaman matematis, (2) Terdapat perbedaan kemampuan pemahaman matematis pada peserta didik yang melakukan pembelajaran menggunakan media SMARD dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran secara konvensional.

Abstract

Artificial Intelligence merupakan suatu kebaruan pada bidang teknologi yang menyebabkan disrupsi pada bidang pendidikan. Disrupsi merupakan sesuatu yang dapat mengubah cara orang bekerja, berinteraksi, dan memperoleh informasi secara drastis. Dampak disrupsi pada bidang pendidikan yang paling menonjol adalah peran guru dalam pembelajaran, contohnya student center dan transformasi media pembelajaran, dimana pembelajaran sekarang berbasis teknologi, dan media pembelajaran lebih interaktif dan adaptif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterampilan guru kelas VI di SD Negeri Sukamaju, SD Negeri Bojongkoneng, dan SD Negeri Sukawangi dalam membuat media pembelajaran digital menggunakan fitur artificial intelligence aplikasi Canva. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif yang melibatkan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan guru dalam membuat media pembelajaran digital sangat baik. Guru dapat menggunakan alat desain grafis dengan lancar, membuat tampilan media pembelajaran digital dengan menarik, memilih konten dan menggunakan bahasa sesuai, serta guru dapat menggunakan artificial intelligence dengan sangat baik. Terdapat beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi keterampilan guru dalam membuat media pembelajaran digital menggunakan artificial intelligence aplikasi Canva. Diantaranya, faktor usia, akreditasi sekolah, seberapa sering sekolah mengadakan pelatihan pembuatan media pembelajaran, seberapa sering guru mengikuti pelatihan mengenai media pembelajaran, adaptasi guru terhadap penggunaan teknologi, pemahaman guru terhadap platform dan fitur yang digunakan, kreativitas guru, pengetahuan guru terhadap konten media pembelajaran, serta adanya alat penunjang untuk membuat media pembelajaran digital. Selain itu, Sesuai dengan hasil wawancara yang telah dilakukan, Guru merasa sangat terbantu dengan adanya artificial intelligence karena dirasa lebih mudah dalam mencari sumber, inspirasi maupun bahan untuk membuat media pembelajaran digital.

Abstract

Compiling and formulating learning tools is one of the important tasks carried out by an educator. Curriculum development and change is a necessity, the independent curriculum is the latest curriculum to be implemented in 2022. In its implementation, significant differences arise related to the preparation of learning tools. This gives rise to problems in developing learning tools, including: difficulties in identifying CP, compiling TP (learning objectives from existing) CP (learning outcomes), formulating ATP (learning objective flow) from TP, and describing it in learning assessment. The implementation of this service activity uses the method online lectures, discussions and questions and answers. At each stage of implementation, the Direct Instruction strategy was used. The results of this activity show the teacher's ability to create modules, especially when developing assessments. This can be seen from the teaching modules that have been produced in the process and after service activities. From the results of the questionnaire given at the end of the activity, it appears that the direct benefits of the PkM activities carried out were 82.% in the Very Good category.

Abstract

Learning to read is part of Indonesian language subjects, one of which is encouraging students to read quickly and find main ideas. This research aims to explore the use of Indonesian fable electronic books in learning to read. A research and development (R&D) approach was used in this research to assess product feasibility. This approach aims to do two things: (1) evaluate the product's efficacy in achieving goals; and (2) improve the product based on user and rater feedback. Methods and development start with material analysis, ideas, product improvements, conducting and revising product tests to validate the final product. This research was attended by twenty-five fifth grade students from one of the state elementary schools in Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, South Sumatra Province. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop KATARIAN as an Android-based Edutainment media to improve the multiplication calculation skills of class III students at SDN Lebak Gede and find out the feasibility of the media being developed. Apart from that, through this research, it will be known how students' abilities increase before and after using KATARIAN media. This research uses a type of development research with the ADDIE development model. The research instruments used were material expert validation sheets, media experts validation sheets, pretest-posttest question sheets, teacher and student response questionnaires. Data analysis techniques for validation by experts and teachers are measured using a Likert scale, then the pretest and posttest sheets use the N-Gain formula analysis. Meanwhile, media feasibility is measured by teacher and student response questionnaires. From the research results, it is known that this Edutainment-based KATARIAN media is very valid in terms of validation results from material experts and media experts with an average percentage of 96% in the very valid category. Judging from the pretest-posttest results before and after media use, the N-Gain result was 0.6073 with a "medium" increase category. The suitability of the media can be determined through the results of the teacher questionnaire, namely getting 98% results and student response questionnaires getting 99% results. Based on these results, KATARIAN media can be categorized as very suitable for use in learning.

Abstract

Learning Cycle 7E adalah model pembelajaran yang memiliki 7 siklus pembelajaran bermakna, siswa terlibat aktif dalam pemecahan masalah. Penelitian ini bertujuan melihat peningkatan pemahaman konsep pada kelas yang belajar menggunakan model learning cycle 7E. puzzle sebagai media dalam pembelajaran agar lebih konkrit. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan rancangan nonequivalent pretes postes control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas tinggi sekecamatan Baleendah adapun sampel yang terpilih adalah SDN Cimuncang dua kelas dijadikan kelas eksperimen dan kontrol berjumlah 63 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes uraian pemahaman konsep dengan teknis pengumpulannya adalah pretes-postes dan dianalisis menggunakan nilai N-Gain. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, diperoleh nilai rata-rata pretes sebesar 32,72 dan nilai postes sebesar 62,41. Selain itu, hasil uji-t sebesar 0,003 dengan α = 5% = 0,05. Maka sig = 0,003 < 0,05 artinya terdapat perbedaan peningkatan pemahaman konsep matematis peserta didik atara kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Ini dapat direkomendasikan bahwa model Learning Cycle 7E dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif model pembelajaran untuk meningkatan pemahaman konsep pada materi luas bangun datar. Abstract

Matematika dilabeli dengan pembelajaran yang sulit dan membosankan, salah satu materi matematika yaitu pecahan yang dianggap sebagai materi tersulit, sehingga dibutuhkan solusi dengan cara memilih metode yang tepat. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendapati pengaruh permainan mencari harta karun atas motivasi belajar dan pemahaman dalam materi pecahan kelas V. Metode yang diterapkan yakni quasi experiment jenis non-equivalent control group. Sampel dari siswa kelas V berjumlah 54 siswa. Instrumen menggunakan wawancara, angket, dan tes. Penelitian menggunakan teknik descriptive statistics analysis, analisis data, dan statistics inferential dengan uji n-gain, uji-t, dan uji prasyarat. Perolehan data penelitian menunjukan nilai rerata pemahaman 75 dan skor rerata motivasi belajar 95,04. Berdasarkan hasil data tersebut, dapat diartikan bahwa adanya pengaruh terhadap pemahaman dan motivasi belajar siswa saat menggunakan permainan mencari harta karun di kelas V.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the errors made by pupils when solving math narrative problems based on Newman's procedure involving division calculations. This qualitative study employed a descriptive methodology. Six students from class IV-C at SDN Cipayung 1 Depok served as research participants. Random purposeful sampling was utilized to select the subjects. Exams and interviews served as the instruments. Data analysis steps include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion concluding. According to the research findings, students are prone to committing multiple types of errors when solving math narrative problems involving division arithmetic operations. These include process skills errors, reading errors, transformation errors, comprehension errors, and writing errors in the final solution. The factors that cause students to make mistakes include confusion, shortening time, accuracy, writing, and students' understanding of division calculation operations.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how science literacy before and after using the RADEC learning model, how the difference in the improvement of science literacy in the class used, namely the experimental class (RADEC model) and the control class (conventional model) and know how the implementation of science learning using the RADEC model on Human Digestive System material. The method used is Quasi Experiment with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design research design. The population of this study was a school in North Sumedang District with a research sample of grade V students totaling 112 students consisting of 56 female students and 56 male students. The instruments used were test instruments and observation sheets. The research data were processed using Microsoft Excel and SPSS applications. The data analysis technique used to process data is the average measurement using Microsoft Excel while the normality test, homogeneity test, 2-group hypothesis test (t-test and U-test), and N-gain test using SPSS. The observation sheet instrument was processed by describing the research results based on objective conditions. Literacy before using the RADEC model obtained an average of 55.9 with the low category while afterward obtained an average of 80.4 with the high category. In addition, there is a difference in the improvement of science literacy between the experimental and control classes. The experimental class test scores had a greater increase than the control class. The experimental class had an average value of 0.55 while the control class with a value of 0.30 based on the N-Gain Test. RADEC learning steps are well implemented according to its stages starting from the (Read) stage the teacher asks students to read the material, (answer) students answer pre-learning questions, (discuss) students discuss in groups, (explain) students present the results, (create) students make simple works according to creativity.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the description of SBL learning on students' critical thinking skills. In learning the teacher has an important role to improve students' ability to construct knowledge independently. From the existing problems, students are accustomed to receiving knowledge without asking the problems found. Situation-based learning can facilitate problem-posing, problem solving and independent learning. Through the stages of SBL learning can make it easier to provide structured guidance to facilitate students through discussion as well as problem posing and critical thinking skills. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with class IV research subjects. The instruments used are tests, observation guidelines and interviews. Qualitative data from observations and interviews obtained were reduced to draw conclusions. Then the quantitative data on critical thinking skills obtained are calculated on average and then the percentage is made to see the best results. The findings from this study SBL learning creates interactive learning, supports students in digging up information and solving problems. Then, SBL learning also has a good impact on students' critical thinking skills. Therefore, the description of SBL learning can be an alternative reference for teachers in increasing student potential and can create student-centered learning.
