The method used in this Community Service is to provide Online Training using the Zoom or Google Classroom application combined with the meet program so that you can interact face-to-face, the activity is carried out 2 times. The increase of the mean score on all components after online training indicates that the activities carried out by the service team can provide increased self-recognition, goal setting and goal orientation, but the low of gain score between the pre and post tests indicates that the increase of goal orientations is less effective. Abstract

Psychological well-being is one of the most essential aspects of the life of overseas students. To improve psychological well-being, students should have a positive attitude towards themselves and good resilience with the aim that they can live a life with good mental health and well-being. Therefore, this research aims to determine the role of resilience in the relationship between self-compassion and psychological well-being among non-local students in Indonesia. The study used the Psychological Well-Being Scale (PWBS-18), the Indonesian Version of the Self-Compassion Scale, and the Nicholson McBride Resilience Questionnaire (NMRQ) on 142 non-local students. The results prove that resilience partially mediates the relationship between self-compassion and psychological well-being. It indicates that increasing resilience leads to an increase in self-compassion and it affects the development of psychological well-being. Non-local students who love themselves and accept their weaknesses and failures tend to be able to cope with stress and survive in every difficult condition experienced in their lives, which will lead them to reduce psychological distress.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic alters many aspects of everyday life that we have grown accustomed to. The enactment of various new policies to curb the spread of the disease, i.e., social distancing, work and study from home, restrictions on large-scale activities and restriction in travelling, compel each one of us to adjust. Not to mention the fear of being infected with COVID-19. These conditions led to various psychological problems such as anxiety, low hope, and negative emotions. Efforts to improve people's mental health are urgently needed. One such step is to increase one's understanding of self-management in facing psychological problems due to COVID-19. This study aims to improve the community's mental health, namely the residents of Blotan hamlet during the COVID-19 pandemic through online self-management psychoeducation. To test the effectiveness of psychoeducation, this study used a one-group pre and post-test design. A total of 31 subjects participated in the activity in full. We can infer the effectivity through the anxiety score, hope, and positive emotions on the pre and post-test measurements. The results found that self-managed psychoeducation facing psychological problems during the pandemic significantly increased positive emotions (t = -2,753, df = 30, and p <.05). As for the measurement of anxiety and hope, there was no significant change due to the subject's anxiety score and hope were already in the medium category.

Abstract

Empathy is crucial for individuals to interact well with others, but it has been declining among teenagers. This decline has led to increased bullying and antisocial behavior. This study aims to examine empathy in adolescents in terms of parenting, peer social support, and gender. The study involved 176 samples using a cluster random sampling technique, which included all 11th-grade students of SMA 11 Jambi City. The research follows a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression tests and independent sample T-tests to compare empathy based on gender. The results showed that authoritarian parenting affects empathy by 0.8%, democratic parenting affects empathy by 5.8%, permissive parenting affects empathy by 4.7%, peer social support significantly affects empathy by 27.9%, and overall parenting and peer social support together influence empathy by 71.9%. A comparison of empathy by gender found that women scored higher than men, with a mean difference of 1.43 and a significance of 0.005, indicating a significant difference. The novelty of this study lies in its exploration of how gender differences also impact adolescent empathy, which can help parents optimize their parenting and create a positive peer environment for adolescents in order to foster empathy within them.

Abstract

The implementation of inclusive education remains hindered by insufficient supporting facilities, presenting considerable challenges for teachers. Failure to effectively manage these challenges increases psychological vulnerability and threatens teacher resilience. This study investigates self-efficacy and social support as joint predictors of teacher resilience in inclusive elementary schools, offering a novel contribution by examining their combined influence across specific resilience dimensions. Using a quantitative approach and an ex post facto design, data were collected from 156 inclusive elementary school teachers in Bantul Regency. The study employed structural equation modeling with the partial least squares (SEM-PLS) method. Results showed that both self-efficacy and social support significantly predicted overall teacher resilience (R² = 0.357, Q² = 0.301), as well as each dimension: personal competence and persistence (R² = 0.352), family cohesion (R² = 0.169), social skills and peer relationships (R² = 0.264), and spiritual influences (R² = 0.190). The study highlights that resilient teachers are supported by both internal confidence and external networks, enabling them to sustain professional performance in inclusive settings. This research advances the field by providing empirical evidence for a multidimensional predictive model of resilience, which had not been sufficiently addressed in prior studies. These findings suggest the need for interventions that integrate psychological empowerment and social support mechanisms to strengthen teacher resilience in inclusive education.

Abstract

Abstract

In the context of modern organizations, leadership and employee loyalty are interrelated factors that significantly impact optimal performance. This systematic review examines the relationship between servant leadership (SL) and employee loyalty, highlighting how SL prioritizes employee well-being compared to traditional power-oriented leadership models. The study identifies that effective servant leadership fosters a supportive environment, enhances individual growth, and ultimately contributes to improved organizational performance. Employee loyalty, characterized by commitment and emotional attachment to the organization, plays a crucial role in maintaining stability and efficiency within the company. This review synthesizes existing literature to explore how servant leadership can concretely influence employee loyalty through mechanisms such as empowerment and job satisfaction. The findings suggest that while employee satisfaction serves as a mediator in this relationship, other factors also play significant roles. This research aims to provide deeper insights into how servant leadership can cultivate stronger loyalty in the workplace, thereby enhancing overall organizational performance.
