Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil Hasil Belajar Matematika Dengan Menggunakan Model Discovery Learning Berbantuan  LKPD. Penelitian ini menggunakan Model Discovery Learning. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 10 / II Muara Buat semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2022/2023 yang terdiri dari 23 siswa. Pada pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran sebelum dilakukan tindakan, terdapat permasalahan yaitu pembelajaran masih berpusat pada guru sehingga siswa tidak mampu menemukan konsep dari materi yang dipelajari. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut diperlukan suatu model pembelajaran dimana siswa dapat secara aktif menemukan sendiri konsep yang dipelajari. Instrumen pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar pengamatan dan tes hasil belajar matematika. Lembar pengamatan dianalisis secara deskriptif naratif, sedangkan tes hasil belajar matematika dianalisis secara statistik deskriptif. Dari analisis terlihat bahwa terjadi perbaikan proses pembelajaran dari sebelum tindakan ke siklus I dan siklus II dan meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 10 / II Muara Buat semester ganjil tahun tahun pelajaran 2022/2023. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca menggunakan media buku cerita bergambar dengan subjek penelitian berupa 32 siswa kelas I SDIT Nurul Hikmah Tanjung Jabung Timur. Sebelum tindakan dilakukan, teridentifikasi permasalahan bahwa sebagian siswa masih memiliki keterampilan membaca yang rendah, karena kurangnya keterlibatan aktif dalam pembelajaran dan kurangnya variasi media yang digunakan oleh guru, menyebabkan ketidakmotivasian siswa. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, diperlukan penggunaan media pembelajaran yang menarik seperti buku cerita bergambar, yang dapat merangsang minat baca dan rasa ingin tahu siswa. Instrumen pengumpulan data meliputi lembar observasi aktivitas guru, lembar observasi siswa, dan tes. Hasil analisis menunjukkan perbaikan proses pembelajaran dari sebelum tindakan hingga siklus I dan siklus II, dengan persentase ketuntasan membaca meningkat drastis dari 28% menjadi 91%.  Kata kunci : Keterampilan Membaca, Cerita Bergambar

Abstract

Development and Implementation of Learning Videos in Health, Sport, Physical Education to Improve Learning Interest and Perseverance Character of High School Students.Objectives:The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of student responses on learning videos of  health, sport, and physical education on interest in learning and character of perseverance.Methods: This type of research is development research, with the ADDIE model.The sampling technique used is random sampling. The data analysis technique is in the form of quantitative data analysis with associative and comparative types. Findings: the results of the regression test obtained a significance value of less than 0.05 Conclusion: The research can be concluded that there is an effect of student responses on learning videos of  health, sport, and physical education on interest in learning and character of perseverance. Keywords: learning videos, interest in learning, perseverance character, regression.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v12.i3.202208

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar dan peningkatan pemahaman berhitung siswa melalui pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan berbasis TPACK di sekolah. Sejalan dengan pandangan dunia modern pembelajaran abad 21, yang mengharuskan pengajar mampu menampilkan pembelajaran yang dapat mendorong pergerakan siswa di dalam kelas pada saat persiapan pembelajaran. Strategi yang digunakan dalam penulisan artikel ini adalah strategi pertimbangan penulisan atau audit penulisan. Hasil dari renungan penulisan ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa telah terjadi peningkatan pemahaman berhitung dan peningkatan hasil belajar anggota.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of push-up training variations on smash shot ability among members of the Pickleball Student Activity Unit (UKM) at Jambi University. The smash shot is a critical element in pickleball, requiring significant upper-body muscle strength and precision. Push-up exercises were selected due to their simplicity, equipment-free nature, and effectiveness in strengthening muscles involved in smash techniques. The research employed an experimental method with a one-group pre-test and post-test design, involving 11 active members of the Pickleball UKM at Jambi University as samples. Data were collected through smash shot ability tests before and after the push-up training intervention, which consisted of 18 sessions over one month. The results indicated a significant improvement in smash shot performance post-intervention, with mean scores increasing from 7.27 (pre-test) to 23.00 (post-test). A paired t-test revealed a significance level of <0.001, confirming the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (Ha). Thus, it is concluded that push-up training variations significantly enhance smash shot ability in Pickleball UKM members at Jambi University.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to improve the science learning outcomes of class III students at SD Negeri 122/V Parit Lapis in semester 1 of the 2024/2025 academic year through implementing the STEAM learning approach. The research was carried out over a period of one month from October 2024 to November 2024. The subjects of this classroom action research were 26 class III students at SD Negeri 122/V Parit Lapis. Class III consists of 11 female students and 15 male students. This classroom action research uses the Kemmis and Mc Taggart model which is carried out in 2 cycles, each consisting of four research stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The data analysis carried out included qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. Qualitative analysis was carried out by describing in words the results obtained in cycle I and cycle II. Quantitative data analysis is presented in the form of numbers from the results of observational assessments of student and teacher activities and learning outcomes which were compared in cycle I and cycle II which were then used to make improvements/reflections. The research results show that using the STEAM approach can improve science learning outcomes for class III students at SD Negeri 122/V Parit Lapis. This can be seen from the results obtained in cycle I to cycle II which saw an increase in the percentage of student completion. In the first cycle, 20 students got a complete score, with 6 students not completing and the percentage of complete learning results was 77%. In cycle II there was an increase to 24 students getting a pass mark and 2 students did not finish with a percentage of 92.3% with an increase of 15.3%.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the student learning outcomes in mathematics by using learning media of number pockets for the 2st Secon students of Nurul ‘Ilmi Elementary School in Jambi  regency.  This research was a classroom action research, using the Kemmis and McTaggart models which include planning, action and observation, as well as reflections on each cycle. The subject of this research were the 2st Secon students of Nurul ‘Ilmi Elementary School in Jambi  regency  which amounted to 27 students. Data collection techniques using observation, tests, and documentation. Data is analyzed quantitatively and qualitative. Indicator of success this research was ≥75% of students have reached the KKM, which is 70. The results showed that the media implementation of the number pockets on the mathematics subjects could improve the learning outcomes of the 2st Secon students of Nurul ‘Ilmi Elementary School in Jambi  regency. When it has not been given the value of mathematics teaching the 2st Secon students of Nurul ‘Ilmi Elementary School in Jambi  regency only 11 (40.74%) Students who have a value above the KKM. In the activity of cycle action I increased, namely as much as 15 (55.56%) Students who achieve complete value. And in cycle II as much as 23 (85.19%) Achieve a value of submission. The average value of learning outcomes of cycle I and cycle II has also increased from 62.94 to 82.96.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low level of student activity and learning outcomes caused by the less than optimal learning process implemented. Some indications are that students do not understand the material taught so they tend to be passive, teacher-centered learning, have not used a variety of learning models and low student learning outcomes. This study uses the type of PTK research which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The purpose of this study is to describe the increase in activity and learning outcomes of science using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model in class IV of SD Negeri 169/IX Marga. The subjects of this study were 29 fourth grade students. The data collection techniques used were tests and non-tests. Non-tests include observation and documentation. The data analysis techniques used were quantitative and qualitative. The results showed that there was an increase in student activity and learning outcomes using the Problem Based Learning learning model. This is evidenced by the increase in each cycle. The percentage of student activity in cycle 1 was 72.41% and increased in cycle 2 to 93.10%. The percentage of student learning outcomes completion in cycle I was 68.96% and increased in cycle II to 82.58%. The results of the data collection instrument have reached the criteria for successful action, therefore the action was stopped in cycle II.

Abstract

The primary objective of this research was to investigate the enhancement of oral communication proficiency among fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 151/IV Kota Jambi through the application of instructional media. The study employed a Classroom Action Research methodology, focusing on a cohort of 28 fifth-grade students during the 2024/2025 academic year. Data collection was conducted utilizing observational techniques and performance assessments. The research employed both quantitative and qualitative analytical approaches to evaluate the students' speaking skill progression. The research findings reveal a significant enhancement in speaking proficiency among fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 151/IV Kota Jambi through the implementation of image-based media. The improvement is evident across multiple speaking skill dimensions, including pronunciation accuracy, intonation modulation, vocabulary selection, discourse coherence, verbal confidence, linguistic fluency, communicative attitude, and thematic comprehension. The progression is directly reflected in both the learning process and students' performance metrics.Comparative analysis of assessment scores demonstrates a clear developmental trajectory. The pre-intervention baseline showed an average performance of 69.42, categorized as moderately skilled, with a student achievement rate of 36%. Following the first instructional cycle, the average score increased to 73.32, maintaining a moderate skill classification. The second intervention cycle yielded more remarkable outcomes, with the average score climbing to 88.82 and student completeness percentage reaching 79%, now classified as a very good performance level. Data interpretation conclusively indicates that the strategic application of image media in speaking skill instruction for fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 151/IV Kota Jambi effectively enhanced students' communication capabilities, providing a robust pedagogical approach to language learning development.

Abstract

The Picture and Picture learning model is a learning model where the teacher uses tools or image media to explain material or facilitate students to actively learn. By using tools or image media, it is hoped that students will be able to follow lessons with good focus and in pleasant conditions. So that whatever message is conveyed is usually well received and able to sink into the heart, and can be remembered again. This Classroom Action Research (PTK) was carried out in two cycles with the main material: Bangun Datar. The data collection tools used consist of learning instruments, evaluations (tests) and observations to determine data validation. The subjects studied were teachers and class IV students at SDN 171/IV Jambi City. The results of the research show that by using the Picture and Picture learning model, student learning outcomes in each cycle have increased significantly. These changes, which were previously bad, have become better. Consecutively (based on cycle I and cycle II) the Mathematics learning results of class IV students at SDN 171/IV Jambi City on the main subject Flat building in cycle I obtained an average score of 76.84. Of the 19 students, as many as 6 students (32%) did not complete because the scores obtained did not reach the expected KKM, namely 70. So the percentage of student completion obtained was 70%. Meanwhile, the classical Completeness Standard is classically considered to have completed learning if 80% of the number of students achieve a minimum absorption capacity of 70. Meanwhile, in cycle II the data obtained an average value of 84.11. Of the 19 students, as many as 2 students (11%) did not complete because the scores obtained did not reach the expected KKM, namely 70. So the percentage of student completion obtained was 90%. Meanwhile, the classical Completeness Standard is classically considered to have completed learning if 80% of the number of students achieve a minimum absorption capacity of 70. The application of the Picture and Picture learning model can ultimately improve the Mathematics learning outcomes of class IV students at SDN 171/IV Jambi City.
