Abstract

The Picture and Picture learning model is a learning model where the teacher uses tools or image media to explain material or facilitate students to actively learn. By using tools or image media, it is hoped that students will be able to follow lessons with good focus and in pleasant conditions. So that whatever message is conveyed is usually well received and able to sink into the heart, and can be remembered again. This Classroom Action Research (PTK) was carried out in two cycles with the main material: Bangun Datar. The data collection tools used consist of learning instruments, evaluations (tests) and observations to determine data validation. The subjects studied were teachers and class IV students at SDN 171/IV Jambi City. The results of the research show that by using the Picture and Picture learning model, student learning outcomes in each cycle have increased significantly. These changes, which were previously bad, have become better. Consecutively (based on cycle I and cycle II) the Mathematics learning results of class IV students at SDN 171/IV Jambi City on the main subject Flat building in cycle I obtained an average score of 76.84. Of the 19 students, as many as 6 students (32%) did not complete because the scores obtained did not reach the expected KKM, namely 70. So the percentage of student completion obtained was 70%. Meanwhile, the classical Completeness Standard is classically considered to have completed learning if 80% of the number of students achieve a minimum absorption capacity of 70. Meanwhile, in cycle II the data obtained an average value of 84.11. Of the 19 students, as many as 2 students (11%) did not complete because the scores obtained did not reach the expected KKM, namely 70. So the percentage of student completion obtained was 90%. Meanwhile, the classical Completeness Standard is classically considered to have completed learning if 80% of the number of students achieve a minimum absorption capacity of 70. The application of the Picture and Picture learning model can ultimately improve the Mathematics learning outcomes of class IV students at SDN 171/IV Jambi City.

Abstract

Learning at Sekolah Dasar Negeri 153/X Harapan Makmur, Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency, is still conducted conventionally using media that focus solely on the fifth-grade integrated science textbook (IPAS V). This has resulted in low student motivation and learning outcomes. This study aims to analyze the improvement of student motivation and learning outcomes through the application of diorama media The research design employed was a true experimental design with a pre-test post-test control group model. The study population included all fifth-grade students, consisting of two classes, Va and Vb. A sample of 24 students was selected, comprising 14 students in the control class and 10 students in the experimental class. Data were collected using observation sheets to measure learning motivation and multiple-choice tests to assess learning outcomes. Data analysis was conducted using percentage calculations and statistical tests The research results revealed a significant increase in learning motivation in the experimental class compared to the control class. In the experimental class, students' motivation during the first meeting reached 77.5% (very good category) and increased to 91.25% (very good category) in the second meeting. Conversely, in the control class, students' motivation was only 40% (fair category) in the first meeting, rising to 50% (fair category) in the second meeting. The learning outcomes also demonstrated a significant difference between the experimental and control classes. In the experimental class, the average pre-test score of 30.4 increased to 71 in the post-test, with an N-gain of 0.61, classified as a medium category. Meanwhile, in the control class, the average pre-test score of 32.14 increased to 53.64 in the post-test, with an N-gain of 0.34, also classified as a medium category. The hypothesis test results showed that the \( t_{calculated} = 11.9 \) exceeded \( t_{table} = 2.07 \) (df = 22, α = 0.05), leading to the rejection of \( H_0 \) and acceptance of \( H_a \).In conclusion, there is a significant difference in student motivation and learning outcomes between those taught using diorama media and those taught conventionally in the ecosystem topic for fifth-grade students at Sekolah Dasar Negeri 153/X Harapan Makmur, Tanjung Jabung Timur Regency. Diorama media effectively enhances both student motivation and learning outcomes.

Abstract

The Project based Learning learning model is a learning approach centered on a challenging and authentic project or task. In this model, students are given the opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills in real contexts, thus motivating them to learn more actively and engaged. The purpose of this study is to improve the English speaking ability of grade VI students of SD Stella Maris Jambi by applying a project-based learning model.  This research is a classroom action research (PTK), this class action research (PTK) is carried out in two cycles with the aim of improving students' English speaking skills. The data collection tools used in this study are tests and observations. The subjects studied were teachers and students of grade VI of SD Stella Maris Jambi. The results of the study show that by using the project-based learning model to improve students' English speaking skills, each cycle has increased significantly. The change that was previously not good became better. Successively based on cycle one and cycle two. Of the 30 students, as many as 7 students (23.33%) did not complete because the scores obtained had not reached the expected KKM, which was 70. So that the percentage of student completeness obtained is 68%. Meanwhile, the Classical Completeness Standard, classically considered to have completed learning if it reaches 80% of the number of students who achieve a minimum absorption capacity of 70. Meanwhile, in the second cycle, the average score data was 86.67. Of the 30 students, as many as 6 students (23%) did not complete because the scores obtained had not reached the expected KKM, which was 70. So that the percentage of student completeness obtained was 86.67%. Meanwhile, the Classical Completeness Standard, classically considered to have completed learning if it reaches 80% of the number of students who achieve a minimum absorption capacity of 70. The application of the Picture and Picture learning model can ultimately improve students' English speaking skills at SD Stella Maris Jambi.

Abstract

Group Investigation (GI) is a form of cooperative learning model that emphasizes student participation and activities to find their own subject matter (information) to be learned through available materials, for example from textbooks or students can search through the internet. This Class Action Research (PTK) is carried out in three cycles with the structure and function of plant parts. The data collection tools used consist of learning instruments, evaluations (tests) and observations to determine data validation. The subjects studied were teachers and students of grade IV SDN 28/IV Jambi City. The results of the study show that in each cycle, student activities and learning outcomes have increased as well as teacher activities in teaching. In the first cycle, the completeness of student learning outcomes was classically complete with a percentage of 35.29 and an average score of 63.23 and only 6 students completed, and in the second cycle there was an increase in the percentage of completeness of classical learning outcomes of 64.70% and an average score of 71.17 and 11 students who completed, and in cycle III the completeness of learning outcomes also increased, namely with a percentage of 100% and an average score of 81.17 and all students completed with KKTP 70.  Student activities in cycles I, II, and III also increased, namely in cycle I with a percentage of 57.48% and in the category of moderately active 79, cyclus II with a percentage of 75.66% and in the active category, cycle III with a percentage of 88.89% and in the very active category. In addition, teacher activity in teaching in cycle 1 with a percentage of 69.64% and is in the fairly good category, cycle II with a percentage of 85.71% and is in the good category, Cycle III with a percentage of 94.64% is in the very good category.

Abstract

This thesis discusses the application of the Preview Question Learning Method in Improving Reading Comprehension Skills for Class V Students in Thematic Learning at Madrasah Ibtidayah Al-Munawwarah Jambi City. This research focuses on the thematic learning process using the preview question learning method. This study uses a classroom action research approach. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis used descriptive analysis.In planning the teacher makes lesson plans, syllabus and prota and promissory notes according to existing provisions. The implementation of thematic learning is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings and an evaluation of learning using the 2013 curriculum assessment with three aspects or domains assessed, namely knowledge, attitudes and skills. At the beginning of the observation, the researcher found that students' reading skills were still low. Because teachers still use conventional methods (lecture methods) and have not used appropriate learning strategies. This makes students feel bored with the learning process in class. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of the preview question learning method can improve students' reading comprehension skills in thematic learning at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Munawwarah Jambi City.

Abstract

There are many forms of game practice that can improve down-passing abilities, one of which is the open-head game, which can be used as a form of training for students in an effort to improve down-passing ability in volleyball games. The goal to be achieved through this research is to reveal the influence of the long-head game on improvement. Volleyball Bottom Passing in Class VIII Male Students of SMP Negeri 5 Jambi City. The research method used was an experimental method with a One Group Pre test - Post test design research design, with a sample size of 25 students from the existing population. The sample was obtained using a conditional sampling technique (Purposive Sample). This research began with an initial test and a final test for volleyball underpasses. The training was carried out for six weeks with a frequency of three times a week. The results of this study used quasi-experimental t-test data analysis which showed that there was an influence of the head-to-head game on improving volleyball bottom passing in class VIII male students at SMP Negeri 5 Jambi City (tcount 15.522 > ttable 1.711 with a confidence level of 95% ). Thus, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of the head game on improving volleyball bottom passing in class VIII male students at SMP Negeri 5 Jambi City.

Abstract

One of the good training methods is by varying the ball used during training which can affect sepak takraw skills. This study aims to determine the effect of ball variation training on improving sepak takraw skills. The research conducted is an experimental study, which is conducted to determine whether or not there is an increase in something imposed on the sample to be studied. This experimental study was conducted at SDN 112/I Perumnas Muara Bulian with 23 people, with details of an initial test, namely a test conducted before doing ball variation training and a final test, namely a test after doing sepak takraw ball variation training. The overall results of the initial sepak takraw skill test score were 350 with an average sepak takraw skill score of 15.21. While the overall results of the final score on the sepak takraw skill test were 500 with an average sepak takraw skill score of 21.73. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that a person who does ball variation training will have 6.52 more advanced sepak takraw skill results than someone who does not do sepak takraw ball variation training. The results of the study indicate that the hypothesis proposed is there is a significant influence of ball variation training on improving sepak takraw skills accepted with a 95% confidence level which can be seen from the results of the t-test, namely the Significant value=0.00 is smaller than the value of α=0.05. So it can be concluded that ball variation training can improve sepak takraw skills by 6.52%.

Abstract

Peneilitian inii bertiujuan unituk menigetahui bagaiimana penerapian meidia Quiestion Caird paida muiatan Matiematika Keilas III di SD Negeri 47/IV Kiota Jaimbi dan untuk mengietahui apakah peneirapan Question Card dapat meninigkatkan keaktifan belajar sisiwa pada muatan Matematika siswa kelas III di SD Negeri 47/IV Kota Jambi. Dialam penielitian ini diteimukan permiasalahan keaikitifan sisiwa rendah dalam pembelajaran. Hal ini terlihat dari kegiatan observasi di SD Negeri 47/IV Kota Jambi pada siswa kelas III, bahwa siswa kurang memberikan perhatian kepada guru selama proses pembelajaran, jarang terlibat aktif dalam diskusi, dan kurang berani menyampaikan pendapat. Hambatan utama dari permasalahan ini adalah minimnya penggunaan media pembelajaran yang inovatif oleh guru, yang seharusnya dapat mendorong keaktifan belajar siswa. Akibatnya, tingkat keaktifan belajar siswa menjadi rendah. Objek dalam penelitian yaitu 32 siswa yang terdiri dari 17 siswa perepuan dan 15 siswa laki-laki. Solusi dari permasalahan ini adalah menggunakan media pembelajaran Question Card. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi langsung selama pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keaktifan belajar siswa pada siklus I diperoleh skor rata-rata presentase sebesar 62,39% sedangkan skor keaktifan siswa pada siklus II sebesar 82,70%. Dari hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan Media Question Card dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa pada muatan Matemtika SD Negeri 47/IV Kota Jambi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh pengaruh pandemi covid 19 yang telah mengadirkan sistem pembelajaran daring yang berdampak signifikan pada pembelajaran membaca permulaan. Membaca permulaan yang merupakan inti dari pendidikan dasar yang sangat menentukan keberhasilan pada pendidikan formal selanjutnya harus menghadapi kesulitan dikarenakan keterbatasan instruktur dan infrastruktur pendidikan itu sendiri. Padahal keberhasilan seluruh proses kegiatan belajar itu sendiri sangat di tentukan oleh penguasaan kemampuan membaca mulai dari membaca permulaan sampai dengan membaca pemahaman. Berdasarkan hal tersebut dilakukan penelitian peningkatan kemapuan membaca permulaan dengan metode struktural analitik sintetik (SAS) dengan tujuan untuk melihat dan mendeskripsikan efektifitas dan pemahaman dari setiap tahapannya. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kelas I SD Negeri 194/VI Tambag Emas I dengan menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Adapun hasil yang disimpulkan dari penelitian tersebut menyatakan bahwa metode struktural analitik sintetik (SAS) merupakan metode yang cukup efektif dan berdampak signifikan dalam peningkatan kemampuan siswa membaca permulaan di kelas I SD Negeri 194/VI Tambag Emas I. Disamping itu pula, aktifitas dan kreatifitas guru sangat dibutuhkan guna peningkatan aktifitas siswa. selanjutnya kedua aktifitas tersebut akan berpengaruh pada hasil belajar siswa. Keberhasilan pembelajaran ditentukan oleh adanya kemampuan guru dalam pengelolaan kelas termasuk penggunaan berbagai metode mengajar yang relevan dan kondisi setempat serta karakteristik siswa.

Abstract

Dalam penelitian ini membahas mengenai meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa menggunakan quizizz pada pembelajaran IPAS mengenai magnet di kelas V. penelitian ini dilakukan dengan penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Mendeskripsikan penggunaan Quizizz dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran Quizziz, semangat belajar dan motivasi belajar serta aktivitas dan kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan tugas mata Pelajaran IPAS meningkat hal itu dapat dilihat dari hasil perolehan angket pada siklus 1 dan siklus II.
