Abstract

Bali is a province whose economic sector is dominated by the tourism industry and is one of the victims of the impact of restrictions on the movement of world tourists caused by Covid-19. PHRI published since the beginning of the pandemic until April 2020 there were 281 hotels and 19 restaurants in Bali that had stopped operating. Kemenparekraf helps the Bali Government Tourism in taking a role for the recovery of the tourism industry and continue to operate in the pandemic situations. This study aims to explain the role of the Bali Government Tourism during the Covid-19 pandemic in implementing CHSE in hotel and restaurant businesses in Bali. This study uses a qualitative method with purposive techniques in determining informants, namely the Bali Provincial Tourism Office, PHRI Bali, hotel and restaurant business actors in the Sanur, Ubud and Nusa Dua areas. Data was collected by means of structured and open interviews. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative. The results of the study explain that the role of the Bali Provincial Tourism Office as a facilitator, regulator and catalyst is implemented with programs that is carried out as well as the implementation of CHSE to suppress the spread and education of Covid-19 prevention in hotel and restaurant businesses and gain the trust of potential tourists to come to Bali so that the wheels of the economy Bali goes on. All of these activities involve various parties such as associations, academics, government institutions, national media, business actors, Balinese people to tourists who are stay in and want to go to Bali.

Abstract

Staycation is a tourism trend that is currently very popular with people of all ages, including the millennial generation as the potential age group. Almost millennial generation spend their time at Badung Regency to experience staycation. The variety of tourism products and their supporting facilities in Badung Regency will make some preferences. Therefore, this study aims to determine the characteristics and preferences of the millennial generation for tourism products while enjoying staycation in Badung Regency. The sampling technique used purposive sampling method on 100 respondents aimed to Balinese millennial generation. The data analysis technique used descriptive quantitative with cross-tabulation and chi-square test to determine the relationship between variables. The results showed that the major characteristics of millennial generation who do staycations in Badung Regency are female, living in Denpasar City, aged between 19-24 years old, unmarried status, have an undergraduate educational background, work as employe of private company, planning for a vacation, getting information via social media/ internet, doing a staycation with friends, self-organizing the trip, travelling for a night, spending less than IDR. 200,000.00 during the trip, staycation on holidays, and frequently having their staycation in Badung Regency, which is more than 5 times a year. The preferences of the millennial generation who experiencing staycation in Badung Regency are hotel-type accommodation, using motorbike, buying food and beverage at warungs, and choosing beach as their favorite tourism attractions.

Abstract

There are many reasons why tourists travel or visit certain places, and chief among them is to seek happiness. For example, they feel happy when they get the hedonic experience. Unfortunately, the effect of hedonic values and tourism experiences on tourists’ happiness has thus far remained unclear. This study was aimed to analyze the effect of hedonic value on the tourist experience, prove the effect of hedonic value on tourists’ hedonic happiness, and examine the effect of tourist experience on tourists’ hedonic happiness. This research took place in Bali, and the research subjects were foreign tourists who visited Bali. The total number of respondents was 171. All structured interviews and questionnaires were performed and distributed online. Data analysis was conducted using SEM (Structural Equation Model). The research findings show the positive and significant effect of hedonic values on tourist experience. There is a positive and significant effect of tourist experience on tourist hedonic happiness. It was found that there was no direct effect of hedonic value on tourist hedonic happiness. Out of the demonstrated intervariable correlations, we managed to create the Model of Hedonic Tourist Happiness (MHTH). This study concludes that the MHTH consists of hedonic value, tourist experiences, and tourist hedonic happiness variables. This MHTH can be applied to improve tourism services in Bali, and particularly to boost the tourist experience and tourist happiness.Keywords: Bali, Hedonic Happiness, Tourists Experiences.

Abstract

Understanding consumer behavior is an important entity in the marketing strategy, particularly in tourism destination marketing strategy. This study is a preliminary study to understand the behavior of foreign tourists at a tourist attraction in Bali, especially Sangeh tourist attraction, Kintamani and Besakih (SAKIBE). Aims to study the behavior of tourists after visiting the tourist attraction in Bali. This study uses two approaches or a combination of qualitative methods (exploratory) and quantitative (confirmatory). Exploratory studies conducted with activities focus group discussion (FGD), with tourism stakeholders especially with ASITA and HPI. The population in this study were foreign tourists who visited the three major tourist attraction of the sample size using Sugiyono, 2013 approach. While the focus group presents 8-12 resource in accordance with the rules Malhotra (2002: 351); Jennings (2001: 172). Each location will take a sample of 40, 30 and 30 on each tourist attraction that is Sangeh, Kintamani and Besakih. Data collection confirmatory studies using questionnaires given to tourists who have been in three of the major tourist attraction.

Abstract

Various strategies used by the company, organization, and a tourism destination to be able to win the competition and retain customer loyalty even increase. This paper aims to develop a research model using one of the multivariate analysis tool that call Multidimensional Scaling (MDS) and Coresponden Analysis (Anacor) so that it can be known the position of 12 tourist attraction in Bali, namely the similarities, differences and preferences of domestic tourists. Twelve of tourist attraction in Bali, Kuta and Sanur is the attractiveness of the most known and desirable while the less popular and less known is Medewi beach. Medewi Beach perceived as a tourist attraction because of its location differs considerably compared with Kuta. Tourist attraction which is also considered to have to be defferent is Tanah Lot and Sanur. While the rest are considered to have equal or proximity including Tanjung Benoa, Tulamben, Kuta, Nusa Dua and Ubud. Tanah Lot and Ubud are considered to have more advantages in terms of art and culture and spiritual destination.

Abstract

Cruise tourism is a part of tourism industry, which kown as floating hotel or floating resort (Dowling (2006). It’s be  a new industry in  the world, that  evidenytly the  growth of cruises principal. Such as Holland American Line, Costa Cruise dan Carnival P&O Cruises, Silversea, Tui cruises, Star cruises. This opportunities supported The Growth of people travel used of cruise line average 4,5 % annual. Hence It’s will bring  a tight competition especially in pricing play  (Papatheodorou,2006). Bali as internation destination, owning opportunity as cruise tourist destination, with various weakness require or conducted research  and  correction of  infrastructure and superstructure and also human resource that have  ability in  cruise tourism. Rivalry in the future between image and creating of value to the customer.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kualitas pelayanan yang terdiri dari variable tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance,dan empathy secara simultan untuk mengetahui variabel dominan yang berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan pelanggan. Jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 100 reponden yang menggunakan jasa F&B Service Departement Nusa Dua Beach Hotel Bali. Teknik pengambilam sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan metode pengumpulan data berupa kuisioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji instrumen (validitas dan reliabilitas) serta analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan, berdasarkan analisis koefisien determinasi diperoleh hasil R square (koefisien determinasi) sebesar 0,270 artinya bahwa 27,0% variabel kepuasan pelanggan dipengaruhi oleh variabel kualitas pelayanan, yang terdiri dari tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance dan empathy, sedangakan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak dibahas dalam penelitian ini. Terdapat pengaruh signifikan secara parsial (individu) pada variabel reliability, responsiveness, assurance, dan empathy terhadap kepuasan pelanggan dengan hasil signifikansi t (0,010) < α 0,005. Sedangkan pengaruh variabel tangible menunjukkan hasil yang tidak signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan dengan nilai t (0,000) > α 0,05.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak dan daya dukung pariwisata daya tarik wisata Tanah Lot. Metode pengumpulan data dengan , melakukan wawancara dan observasi langsung ke Daya Tarik Wisata Tanah Lot. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Secara umum dampak pariwisata di daya tarik wisata Tanah Lot sangat positif., baik dilihat dari dampak pembangunan fisik, sosial dan budaya, lingkungan serta ekonomi. Analisis daya dukung pariwisata yang dilihat dari daya dukung fisik, riil dan efektif. Daya dukung fisik adalah sebesar 4.436, yang menunjukkan batas maksimum dari kunjungan wisatawan yang secara fisik tercukupi oleh ruang yang disediakan pada waktu tertentu. Terjadi kelebihan kunjungan pada musim sepi maupun musim ramai, yaitu sebanyak 96 orang setiap harinya. Daya Dukung riil daya tarik wisata Tanah Lot adalah 1.109, artinya jumlah maksimum kunjungan wisatawan yang diperbolehkan dalam satu hari dengan berbagai aktifitas wisatanya tanpa merusak lingkungan atau ekosistem yang ada. Daya dukung efektif, merupakan jumlah kunjungan wisatawan dimana kawasan tetap lestari, dengan mempertimbangkan kapasitas manajemen yang dimiliki. Daya dukung efektif menunjukkan jumlah wisatawan yang dapat ditangani dengan optimal oleh sumber daya manusia yang disediakan manajemen, dengan hasil sebesar 1.109, menunjukkan jumlah wisatawan yang dapat ditangani dengan optimal di daya tarik wisata Tanah Lot.

Abstract

Pariwisata adalah bisnis yang memiliki banyak dampak positif terhadap munculnya bisnis lain, salah satunya akomodasi dalam bentuk homestay. Homestay di Canggu menjadi tempat favorit wisatawan selama berkunjung ke Bali. Potensi ini harus dijaga agar dapat meningkatkan jumlah orang yang tertarik untuk akomodasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh kualitas layanan dan fasilitas yang disediakan oleh sebuah homestay di Canggu Bali. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis kuantitatif menggunakan program SPSS dengan beberapa metode analisis regresi linear. Hasil analisis ini menunjukkan bahwa fasilitas dan layanan berpengaruh pada variabel kepuasan backpacker secara bersamaan dengan nilai penentuan 65,4% yang berpengaruh pada kepuasan backpacker dan sisanya (34,6%) adalah faktor lain yang tidak diperiksa.

Abstract

Kemajuan mutu pendidikan utamanya peningkatan proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan guru di sekolah akan mampu diupayakan lewat sebuah penelitian tindakan. Oleh karenanya penulis mencoba melakukan penelitian ini demi adanya upaya perbaikan tersebut. Tujuan tersebut lebih jelas lagi dan lebih terfokus lagi adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini mengambil objek pada kelas VIIIC di SMP Negeri 2 Tembuku yang belajar pada semester I tahun pelajaran 2019/2020. Peningkatan hasilbelajar tersebut datanya diperoleh lewat observasi, setelah data diperoleh, selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Perolehan data hasil penelitian ini, ternyata menggembirakan setelah cara pembelajaran yang konvensional dirubah menggunakan strategiSnowball Throwing. Kegiatan penelitian ini menghasilkan suatu peningkatan yang diharapkan yaitu meningkatnya perolehan data awal yang baru mencapai 63,27 dengan ketuntasan belajar 57,69% pada siklus I naik menjadi 71,34 dengan ketuntasan belajar 76,92%. Hasil tersebut membuktikan keberhasilan penelitian ini sehingga peneliti berkesimpulan bahwa penerapan strategiSnowball Throwing dalam pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar Bahasa Bali siswa kelas VIIIB di SMP Negeri 2 Tembuku.
