Abstract

Al-Anshar Mosque in RT 04/RW 01 Betungan Sub-district functions not only as a place of worship for residents but also as a stopover for intercity travelers, prompting the need for improved comfort, cleanliness, and order. Although residents are aware of earthquake risks, accessible educational visual media is still needed to strengthen preparedness. This activity aimed to optimize the mosque's role as a socio-educational space and enhance disaster awareness through a participatory, community-based approach. The program included community clean-up, installation of facility signboards, distribution of hygiene posters, and visual-based earthquake education. The results indicated increased community awareness of environmental cleanliness and disaster preparedness, with the mosque also serving as an effective educational space for visitors. The initiative contributes to social resilience and is potentially replicable in other disaster-prone areas.

Abstract

Toko azn merupakan toko sembako yang menyediakan beraneka ragam kebutuhan sehari-hari antara lain sembako, snack, minuman dan kebutuhan lainnya. Toko ini kerap mengalami masalah dimana toko memiliki lebih banyak barang dibandingkan permintaan yang diinginkan pelanggan, sehingga toko dapat menjadi rugi disebabkan barang yang tidak habis khususnya barang yang memiliki unsur kadaluwarsa dan gampang rusak. Dimana selama ini seluruh proses pengelolaan data transaksi penjualan masih dilakukan secara manual melalui pembukuan pendataan informasi. Penelitian ini berfokus pada sistem pengelolaan persediaan barang dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan mencegah kehabisan stok di toko. Metode yang diterapkan adalah algoritma Apriori, yang bertujuan untuk menemukan asosiasi antar produk dan membantu dalam pengoptimalan manajemen stok barang . Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan algoritma Apriori dapat memberikan wawasan yang lebih baik mengenai pola pembelian konsumen, sehingga toko dapat mengelola persediaan dengan lebih efektif. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini tidak hanya memberikan kontribusi terhadap teori pengelolaan persediaan, tetapi juga memberikan manfaat praktis bagi pemilik toko dalam meningkatkan efisiensi operasional mereka. Dengan demikian, diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi referensi bagi penelitian selanjutnya dalam bidang pengelolaan persediaan barang.

Abstract

Purpose: This study analyzes the influence of work-life balance, work environment, and workload on performance through job satisfaction as a mediating variable on employees of the General Bureau of the Regional Secretariat of the Riau Islands Province. Methodology/approach: A quantitative method was used with SEM-PLS analysis on data collected from 120 employees of the General Bureau, Riau Islands Provincial Secretariat. Results: Using primary data from 120 employees, this study found that work-life balance and workload have a significant influence on performance through the results of the path coefficient, meaning that the job satisfaction variable can mediate the influence of endogenous variables of work-life balance and workload on the performance variable. This can be explained by the fact that with the mediation of job satisfaction, when there is an increase in work-life balance and workload, employee performance will increase. Conclusions: Improving job satisfaction enhances performance, especially when managing workload and work-life balance. Limitations: The study is limited to one public institution and excludes factors such as leadership and compensation. Contribution: This study highlights the importance of job satisfaction as a mediator to improve employee performance in the public sector.

Abstract

An internal combustion engine converts thermal energy into mechanical work with an efficiency of approximately 35–40%, depending on the engine type and operating conditions. This indicates that about 60–65% of the total energy is wasted, primarily in the form of heat loss through the cooling system, exhaust gases, and mechanical friction. One potential approach to improve engine efficiency is by recovering waste heat using a thermoelectric generator (TEG) system. This study aims to analyze the exergy performance of a thermoelectric heat recovery system that utilizes exhaust gas heat from an internal combustion engine as an energy source. The analysis focuses on the influence of engine speed variation and aluminum fin configuration on the exergy value, exergy destruction, and exergy efficiency to enhance waste heat utilization. The heat recovery system is connected to the exhaust pipe outlet, and several fin configurations are investigated: left–left-right, top–bottom, all-sided, and without fins. Tests were conducted at engine speeds of 1300, 1600, 1900, and 2200 rpm to observe variations in energy distribution and efficiency. The results indicate that the exergy value generated by the thermoelectric heat recovery system increases with higher engine speed. This finding demonstrates that the proposed system can effectively improve the thermal efficiency of internal combustion engines by converting exhaust heat into useful energy, contributing to overall energy savings and the development of more efficient energy conversion technologies.

Abstract

The implementation of Virtual Private Network for file server access at Air Dikit Sub-District Office can assist Air Dikit Sub-District Office in managing files sent by each village office, as well as simplify the process for village offices to send population reports and other documents to Air Dikit Sub-District Office via Virtual Private Network. File server access at Air Dikit Sub-District Office is built using a Samba server with the Linux Ubuntu Server 24.04.1 operating system. The server contains 7 shared folders corresponding to the names of each village office within Air Dikit Sub-District, and each Village Office is assigned 1 operator account used to access these shared folders. Additionally, there is a condition where a village office cannot access another village office's folder due to the authentication and verification process for operator accounts on each shared folder. Based on the testing conducted, the use of Hamachi VPN is limited to only 5 users who can connect, as the Hamachi version used is still the trial/free version.

Abstract

The development of information technology has encouraged organizations to utilize digital media as a means of promotion and communication. This study aims to build a professional, informative, and widely accessible pencak silat organization website through Virtual Private Server (VPS) infrastructure. The development methods used include system requirements planning, interface design, website implementation using the latest web technologies (such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP), and VPS configuration for independent hosting. This website provides features such as an organization profile, activity gallery, latest news, online member registration, and a content management system that makes it easy for administrators to update information. The use of VPS provides flexibility in server management, better security, and more stable performance compared to shared hosting. The final result shows that the website built can function properly and meet the organization's needs in terms of digitalizing information and membership services. With this website, it is hoped that Pencak Silat organization can enhance its presence in the digital era and expand its communication reach with the public.

Abstract

This present paper aims to investigate strength characteristics of cement mortar using natural sea sand as fine aggregate in different curing conditions. Research was carried out with making mortar mixtures by two types of cement, Portland Composite Cement (PCC) and Pozzolana Portland Cement (PPC) with tap water as mixing water. Characteristics of fine aggregate and strength of cement mortar use river sand (RS), sea sand (SS), and washed sea sand (WS) were observed. Further, specimens of cube mortar in size of 50 mm x 50 mm x 50 mm of six mortar mixture series were casted according to Indonesian Standard. At 24 hours after cube specimens were casted, cube mortar specimens were cured in three curing conditions such as tap water curing (TC), seawater curing (SC) and air curing (AC). After curing at certain period (3-day, 7-day, 14-day, and 28-day), cube mortar samples were tested in compressive strength. Results concluded that sea sand aggregate improve characteristic of mortar in compressive strength up to 28 days in all curing conditions, and there was no significant effect of type of curing water (TC and SC) on 28-day strength performance of mortar was obtained. In addition, sea sand could potentially be utilized as an aggregate in production of mortar and/or concrete.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a learning media prototype based on the Quizizz application, combined with 3D Augmented Reality (AR) technology, to support the implementation of Merdeka Belajar management in schools. AR technology enables the integration of virtual objects into real-world environments in real time, creating an interactive and engaging learning experience for students. Validation tests conducted at SMK N 03 Kota Bengkulu revealed that students experienced enjoyable and interactive learning, especially in the hardware introduction subject for the Computer and Network Engineering (TKJ) program. This prototype also supports teachers and educational institutions in implementing the Merdeka Belajar curriculum and can be used by parents and students as a learning aid at home. Furthermore, test results indicate that this media can serve as a supportive tool for the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program. This prototype holds significant commercial potential through subscription or licensing models for schools and educational institutions, along with AR content that can be tailored to specific curriculum needs. The key advantages of this innovation include interactivity, support for learning flexibility, integration of cutting-edge technology, and accessibility through common devices like smartphones and tablets. The development stages include research and development, prototype creation, testing, product launch, as well as ongoing maintenance and feature enhancement.

Abstract

This method gives students the chance to think, train students memrcahkan msalah find their own answers. Research objectives were to describe the increase in science learning outcomes using the inquiry. The research was conducted in the first semester of the school year 2012/2013 in SD N 06 Situjuah Batua County District Situjuah Limo Nagari Fifty Cities. The study was Classroom Action Research (CAR) with qualitative and quantitative approaches. This study conducted two cycles, cycle 1 held 2 meetingsandcycleIIheld1meeting. The results of the research cycle 1 1 meeting in RPP got enough percentage of 71.4%, cycle 1 meeting 2 92.8% , on the second cycle 1 meeting 96.4% . The average yield was 82.1% first cycle. In the second cycle 96.4% , then the average - average cycle I and cycle II was 89.25% . Assessment of aspects of teachers in cycle 1 pertmuan 1 for 79.7% cycle 1 meeting 2 the average percentage of 83.6% Well, the first meeting of the second cycle of 96.9% Very Good average cycle 1 and cycle II to obtain the percentage of 90.25% Very Good. From the aspect of cycle 1 meeting 1 for 71.4%, cycle 1 meeting 2 by 82% Both the average percentage of 76.5% first cycle, second cycle 1 meeting by 89% Good Once, the average cycle 1 and cycle II of 82.75%.
