Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Celebrity Endorsement on Skincare Purchase Intention in Management Students of Medan State University (Unimed). The subjects of this study were 30 management students of Medan State University (Unimed). The analysis prerequisite test includes normality test, linearity test and R test. The data analysis technique used is simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between celebrity endorsement and purchase intention.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to look at the needs analysis of the digital-based assessment model Automated Short Essay Scoring (ASES) in English language learning in Vocational High Schools. This research is a research and development (RD) research carried out in the Computer Network Technology Department at SMK Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan. This research is included in mixed methods research with the assessment development model used, namely the Borg and Gall model which consists of ten stages,: needs analysis, development plan, initial product development, initial test or one-on-one test, initial product revision, field test, product revision, field implementation test (operational test), revising the final product, and implementation in the field. This research focuses on the first step of all the steps in developing the Borg and Gall model above, namely needs analysis activities. The results of this research show that the implementation of digital assessment models needs to be carried out in English language learning. The use of ASES digital-based assessment media is an urgent need for assessment to be implemented to take into account the knowledge, skills, dispositions and attitudes needed to equip students to keep up with the increasingly changing digital world. Furthermore, identification of the development of the ASES digital-based assessment model in English language learning at Vocational High Schools was carried out by conducting FGDs with teachers and students of SMK Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan resulting in an agreement that in learning English students need to be equipped with digital skills.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the main causes of conflict occurring at PT Garuda Indonesia, the impact of these conflicts on the company's performance, and to provide strategic recommendations to prevent similar conflicts in the future. This research employs a qualitative method with a literature review approach, where data is collected through literature studies from various academic sources, articles, and company reports related to the conflicts that have occurred at PT Garuda Indonesia. The findings indicate that the conflicts at PT Garuda Indonesia are caused by weak internal oversight, conflicts of interest, and a lack of management transparency. The impact of these conflicts is reflected in decreased employee morale, a damaged corporate reputation, and dissatisfaction among management and shareholders. This research implies the importance of implementing good corporate governance and the need for stricter oversight systems to manage and prevent conflicts within the organization. The company is expected to improve relationships with all stakeholders through transparency and effective communication.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to analyze the role of good governance in preventing corruption in PT Antam, focusing on the application of the principles of transparency, accountability, and integrity in shaping an anti-corruption organizational culture. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, this research identifies important elements of good governance, such as leadership with integrity, stakeholder participation, and an effective monitoring system. The results show that failures in the implementation of good governance principles contribute to the emergence of a corruptive culture, especially in PT Antam's Precious Metals Management and Refining. Weak transparency, accountability, and internal supervision allow abuse of authority to occur thoroughly. This study recommends improving the implementation of good governance and strengthening the supervisory system to prevent corruption in the future.

Abstract

This article discusses the influence of political leadership style on employee performance and discipline in state-owned companies in Indonesia. The research method used is qualitative with secondary data analysis. The results show that fair and thoughtful political leadership contributes positively to employee discipline, while overly dominant leadership can decrease motivation and discipline. Factors such as organizational culture, education level, and employee involvement in decision-making also influence this relationship. Transparent and fair politics can increase discipline, while poorly managed politics can lead to dissatisfaction. The article also emphasizes the importance of further research to understand the relationship between political leadership and employee discipline and develop strategies to reduce the negative impact on employee productivity and well-being

Abstract

This research aims to examine the basic concepts of organizational behavior with a focus on the meaning, objectives, levels of analysis, and managerial implications. Using a literature approach, this research reviews relevant literature in three journals related to organizational behavior and leadership. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that a deep understanding of organizational behavior is very important to increase managerial effectiveness in organizations. This study also highlights how leadership style and organizational culture influence human resource performance, as well as how psychological and sociological approaches can be applied in the management of educational organizations.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh lingkungan kerja terhadap kualitas kerja karyawan pada PT. Cakra Agung Nusantara MedanPopulasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 66 orang. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah kuesioner dengan penilaiannya menggunakan skala likert. Selanjutnya dilakukan uji Validitas dan Reliabilitas untuk menguji keabsahan data. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda, uji hipotesis t dan analisis koefisien determinasi (R2) dengan bantuan program komputer statistical program for social science (SPSS) for windows release 20.0.Dari hasil persamaan regresi linier sederhan diperoleh Y = 37,215 + 0.334X dan dapat disimpulkan bahwa variabel lingkungan kerja mempunyai arah koefisien yang bertanda positif terhadap variabel kinerja karyawan (Y). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin baik lingkungan kerja (X) dan maka semakin tinggi pula kinerja karyawan (Y) pada PT.Cakra Agung Nusantara Medan. Lebih lanjut, berdasarkan hasil uji t, menunjukkan bahwa variabel lingkungan kerja (X) diperoleh nilai thitung sebesar 3.872 dan ttabel sebesar 1,667, berdasarkan kriteria pengujian maka -1,667≤3.872≤1,667 maka Ho ditolak dan menerima Ha yang artinya terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan dari lingkungan kerja terhadap kualitas kerja karyawan. Analisis penelitian ini dilanjutkan dengan perhitungan koefisien determinasi (R2) yang menghasilkan nilai adjusted R square sebesar 0.607 atau 60.7 persen yang artinya pengaruh lingkungan kerja terhadap kualitas kerja karyawan karyawan sebesar 60.7 persen. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang erat antara lingkungan kerja terdapat kualitas kerja karyawan dan sebesar 39.3 persen dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain seperti: upah, semangat, disiplin, serta hubungan perusahaan dan karyawan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji peran inovasi pemasaran sebagai faktor kunci dalam menjamin keberlanjutan UMKM di Kota Medan melalui pendekatan studi literatur. Analisis menunjukkan pertumbuhan signifikan jumlah UMKM di Medan dari 27 ribu (2021) menjadi 90 ribu (2022), yang diikuti transformasi digital dalam strategi pemasaran mereka. Sekitar 78% UMKM telah mengadopsi minimal satu platform digital untuk aktivitas pemasaran, dengan Instagram sebagai platform terpopuler (45%), diikuti Facebook (30%), dan WhatsApp Business (25%). Studi mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan implementasi inovasi pemasaran, termasuk kapasitas SDM, manajemen operasional, dan dukungan pemerintah. UMKM yang mendapat pendampingan pemerintah menunjukkan peningkatan performa pemasaran sebesar 70% dalam enam bulan pertama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi antara pendekatan digital dan konvensional menjadi kunci keberhasilan, dengan strategi omnichannel terbukti paling efektif dalam menjangkau berbagai segmen konsumen. Implementasi inovasi pemasaran menghasilkan peningkatan rata-rata omset sebesar 55% dan efisiensi operasional hingga 30%. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi teoretis dan praktis dalam pengembangan model inovasi pemasaran yang berkelanjutan untuk UMKM di era digital.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a crucial role in a country's economy. In the digital era, digital transformation is a necessity to enhance MSME competitiveness and sustainability. However, this digitalization process is inseparable from the aspects of healthy and effective financial management. This research aims to review the latest literature on the interaction between digitalization and financial aspects in the context of MSME development in the digital era. Using a systematic literature review (SLR) method based on 12 provided scholarly articles, this research synthesizes findings related to the urgency of digitalization, its challenges and benefits, the importance of financial literacy and financial inclusion, the digitalization of financial processes, and their impact on MSME performance and sustainability. The review results indicate that digitalization not only includes digital marketing but also the digitalization of financial processes such as bookkeeping and reporting. Financial literacy and financial inclusion are very important in supporting the adoption of financial technology (fintech) and good financial management practices in the digital era. Various studies confirm the positive influence of digitalization and financial aspects on MSME performance and sustainability, although challenges such as limited infrastructure, digital literacy, and resistance to change still persist. Support from the government and other stakeholders through training and providing access to technology plays an important role in facilitating the digital transition and strengthening the financial aspects of MSMEs. This review provides insights for MSME actors, policymakers, and researchers regarding critical areas that require further attention to support MSME development in the digital era.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi hubungan antara perilaku kelompok dan dinamika senioritas dalam menciptakan lingkungan organisasi yang bebas kekerasan. Perilaku kelompok dalam organisasi seringkali dipengaruhi oleh dinamika senioritas, yang dapat menghasilkan hubungan kolaboratif atau konfliktual, tergantung pada bagaimana senioritas dikelola. Dalam beberapa kasus, senioritas yang tidak dikelola dengan baik dapat memicu terjadinya kekerasan, terutama dalam bentuk peru maupun intimidasi terhadap anggota junior. Penelitian ini menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku kelompok dan dampak senioritas terhadap interaksi antar anggota. Dengan mengidentifikasi potensi konflik yang muncul dari budaya senioritas, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan strategi efektif dalam membangun lingkungan organisasi yang aman dan inklusif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan studi literatur sebagai metode utama. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pedoman dalam menciptakan kebijakan organisasi yang mendukung kesejahteraan individu dan meningkatkan produktivitas tim melalui kolaborasi yang lebih baik.
