Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the factors that influence behavioral intention in using digital financial transaction services (E-wallet) by millennial generation in Palembang City by using the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology 2 (UTAUT2) and expanded by adding digital financial literacy variable. This study used purposive sampling technique. Data for 250 millennial generations using ShopeePay, GoPay, and DANA E-wallet in Palembang City were obtained through an online questionnaire survey. The data then were analyzed using Partial least square-structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). The results showed that performance expectancy, social influence, hedonic motivation, and digital financial literacy had a positive and significant influence on behavioral intention. Meanwhile, effort expectancy and facilitating conditions did not have a significant influence. Future research is expected to add other factors not included in this study, such as price value and habit.

Abstract

This study aims to find out a comparison of experiential marketing, brand image, customer loyalty between Starbucks Kambang Iwak and Palembang Indah Mall. The data used in this study were primary data, with a sample of 100 respondents using a non-probability sampling technique with a purposive sampling approach. The analytical techniques used in this study were descriptive analysis and Mann Whitney difference test using the SPSS 25 program. The results showed that there are differences in experiential marketing and customer loyalty between Starbuck Kambang Iwak and Starbucks Palembang Indah Mall while there is no difference in brand image between Starbuck Kambang Iwak and Starbucks Palembang Indah Mall.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of Fairness Performance, Transparency Performance, Accountability Performance, Responsibility Performance, and Independency Performance on Financial Performance. The data were collected using a questionnaire distributed to 48 cooperatives fostered by Dinas Koperasi dan UKM Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Province The data were analyzed using the Regression method with SPSS 23 software. The results of this study show that Fairness Performance, Transparency Performance, Accountability Performance, Responsibility Performance, and Independency Performance have positive and significant effect on Financial Performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze differences in profitability before and after the acquisition. The profitability ratios used in this study are the ratio of GPM, NPM, OPM, ROA, ROE and EPS. The population in this study is a manufacturing company that made acquisitions in 2014. The sample of this study was determined by purposive sampling so that a sample of 4 companies was obtained. The analytical method used in this research is the ANOVA test. The results showed that only the ROE ratio had a difference after the acquisition. While the ratio of GPM, NPM, OPM, ROA and EPS there is no significant difference before and after the acquisition. The results of the study indicate that the economic objective of the acquisition, namely to obtain synergies, was not achieved.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of career development on teacher work achievement at SMP Negeri 47 Palembang. The population in this study were all teachers at SMP Negeri 47 Palembang using a sample of 41 respondents. The data collection method used in the study was obtained from a questionnaire. The analysis technique used is simple linear regression analysis. The data obtained were tested using validity test, reliability test, simple linear regression test, analysis of correlation coefficient (r) and coefficient of determination (R2), as well as hypothesis testing or t test. The test was carried out using the statistical package for social science (SPSS) version 21. Based on the results of the analysis, it was concluded that career development had a positive and significant effect on teacher work achievement at SMP Negeri 47 Palembang. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work stress on employee performance at PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia Branch Office A. Rivai Palembang. The population in this study were all employees at PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia Branch Office A. Rivai Palembang using a sample of 60 respondents. The data collection method used in the study was obtained from a questionnaire. The analysis technique used is simple linear regression analysis. Data processing in this study using the SPSS software program (version 24.00). Based on the results of the analysis, it was concluded that work stress had a negative and significant effect on employee performance at PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia Branch Office A. Rivai Palembang. Abstract

This research uses the event study method to test the reaction of capital markets before and after the announcement of the Emergency Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) policy. The observation period includes 7 days before and 7 days after the event. By using purposive sampling method, the research sample amounts to 29 stocks of the hotel, restaurant, and tourism companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The hypothesis is tested with Paired Samples T-Test for those with normal distribution and Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test for those with no normal distribution. The results showed that there was a difference in average trading volume activity. While average abnormal return and average security return variability did not have significant differences around the announcement. This research implies that stock investors need to consider information about government policies or other non-economic events to appropriately sort out relevant information to sell or maintain stocks under the risks and returns expected by investors. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh literasi keuangan syariah terhadap minat menabung di bank syariah dalam perspektif syariah (studi pada mahasiswa S1 Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Sriwijaya). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan kuisioner sebagai instrumen penelitian. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 2.661 orang dan diambil lah sejumlah 348 responden untuk menjadi sampel dengan menggunakan teknik sampling kuota. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linier sederhana. Berdasarkan hasil analisis disimpulkan literasi keuangan syariah berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat menabung di bank syariah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bank syariah di Indonesia lebih menggencarkan promosi serta iklan mengenai informasi bank syariah dan produk-produknya agar bisa sampai kepada para masyarakat Indonesia khususnya mahasiswa.

Abstract

Multi-channel integration is a prerequisite for omni-channel retail success. Implementation of good multi-channel integration increases satisfaction and has an impact on long term relationships with customers, one of which is customer loyalty. This research was conducted in a retail department store in the city of Palembang, namely Matahari Department Store (MDS). This study distributed questionnaires to 200 respondents who were buyers at MDS on at least two channels owned by MDS. The data analysis technique uses path analysis with the help of SPSS. The results show that multi-channel integration indirectly affects customer loyalty through satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of workforce diversity management and employee engagement on turnover intention at PT. Hindoli. The study uses quantitative data type by using questionnaires. The sampling in this study uses the nonprobability sampling with a sample of 178 respondents. The analysis technique used is Structural Equation Model (SEM). The results showed that workforce diversity management had a negative and significant effect on turnover intention, employee engagement had a negative and significant effect on turnover intention, and employee engagement had a more dominant effect on turnover intention.
