Abstract

This community service program aims to improve the postharvest efficiency of corn farmers in Trimoharjo Village, Semendawai Suku III District, Ogan Komering Ulu Timur Regency, through the application of appropriate technology in the form of a solar-powered maize sheller. The main problems faced by farmers are low productivity due to manual shelling and high operational costs of fossil fuel-based machines. The implementation method adopts an engineering design and participatory approach, including needs assessment, design, fabrication, technical training, field implementation, and evaluation. The results show a 300% increase in work efficiency compared to manual methods, with a shelling capacity of 65 kg per hour and a kernel intactness rate of 90–95%. The 200 Wp solar power system can supply energy for 3–4 hours of operation with a full battery charge time of about 5 hours under optimal sunlight. Additionally, the program successfully enhanced farmers’ knowledge of equipment operation and maintenance while fostering local energy independence. This activity not only provided economic benefits through reduced operational costs but also contributed to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in clean energy and local economic growth.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect knowledge of syariah banking products and services, confidence, skills, intrinsic religiosity of syariah banking on taking of credits. The population in this study were 150 respondents from the Bank Syariah Mandiri customers. The sampling technique was carried out using non probability sampling. Data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires, Observation, and Library Research. The method used is quantitative. The analytical tool used in this research is logistic regression and hypothesis significant individual parameters test (test wald), significant simultaneous test (Omnibus of model coefficients), test coefficient determinasi (Cox dan Snell’s R Square dan Nagelkerke R Square). The results of this study indicate that a variable knowledge of positive and significant effect against the decision in taking credit, confidence of positive and significant effect against the decision in taking credit, skills have no effect signifikan effect against the decision in taking credit,while intrinsic religiosity significant effect against the decision in taking credit.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a vital role in the economy but often face challenges in finding strategic business locations and building collaboration. This study aims to design a web-based business space recommendation system to support MSMEs in Depok City. The system was developed using the Waterfall model and a content-based filtering approach for its recommendation algorithm. Laravel and React.js were used for the system development, integrated with a Python Flask-based recommendation service. The results show that the system functions effectively with 100% success in black box testing. The System Usability Scale (SUS) score reached 79%, and the User Acceptance Test (UAT) score was 86.8%, indicating high user acceptance. The recommendation system achieved a precision rate of 80%, demonstrating the algorithm’s effectiveness in providing relevant location suggestions. This system is expected to serve as a digital solution to enhance MSMEs’ visibility and collaboration opportunities.
