Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a vital role in the economy but often face challenges in finding strategic business locations and building collaboration. This study aims to design a web-based business space recommendation system to support MSMEs in Depok City. The system was developed using the Waterfall model and a content-based filtering approach for its recommendation algorithm. Laravel and React.js were used for the system development, integrated with a Python Flask-based recommendation service. The results show that the system functions effectively with 100% success in black box testing. The System Usability Scale (SUS) score reached 79%, and the User Acceptance Test (UAT) score was 86.8%, indicating high user acceptance. The recommendation system achieved a precision rate of 80%, demonstrating the algorithm’s effectiveness in providing relevant location suggestions. This system is expected to serve as a digital solution to enhance MSMEs’ visibility and collaboration opportunities.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan di Kecamatan Dayun, Kabupaten Siak, Riau ini memberikan informasi baru kepada peternak mengenai alternatif pemanas anak ayam selain listrik yang berbiaya mahal dan gas dengan resiko tinggi. Mitra menerima dua paket alat pemanas dan satu paket briket siap pakai dari tim pengabdian Polsri sehingga akan membantu proses pemanasan ayam dengan menggunakan alat alternatif ini. Mitra juga memperolah pengetahuan mengenai manajemen peternakan dari tim pengabdian Polsri, pentingnya mendaftarkan usaha mereka secara legal dan memberi pengetahuan kepada karyawan tentang sanitasi hygiene di tempat kerja serta keuntungan-keuntungan yang didapatkan apabila mendaftarkan para karyawan asuransi kesehatan dan ketenagakerjaan. Luaran yang dihasilkan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini diantaranya adalah artikel pada jurnal terakreditasi, karya audio visual berupa video kegiatan yang diunggah di laman youtube, publikasi pada media massa elektronik, karya visual berupa poster dan struktur organisasi peternakan ayam Bapak Joko Susilo.

Abstract

The existing mobility aids for the visually impaired today still have several shortcomings, so it is necessary to develop technology that can help them walk better. This study aims to create a walker with sensors that can move right and left. Research also tests its accuracy, precision, and success. In making the tool, two steps are taken: making tools and testing tools. The device consisted of an HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor, two Arduino Nano, an SG90 servo motor, and a buzzer. The product then was tested by reading distances at variations of 60cm, 70cm, 80cm, 90cm and 100cm. In addition to distance testing, the instrument is also tested at 0 °, 30 ° right and left angles and 60 ° right and left — output device in the form of a buzzer sound. This design of mobility aids for the blind people have an accuracy of 99.995% and a precision (repeatability) of 98.600%. Meanwhile, this tool has a percentage of the success rate of 98,400%.[Alat bantu jalan bagi tunanetra saat ini masih memiliki kekurangan sehingga diperlukan pengembangan teknologi yang dapat membantu mereka berjalan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat alat bantu jalan dengan sensor yang dapat bergerak ke kanan dan ke kiri serta menguji akurasi, presisi, dan tingkat keberhasilan alat. Penelitian dilakukan dalam dua tahap yaitu membuat alat dan menguji alat. Alat dibuat menggunakan sebuah sensor ultrasonik HC-SR04, dua buah arduino nano, sebuah motor servo SG90, dan sebuah buzzer. Alat diuji dengan membaca jarak pada variasi 60cm, 70cm, 80cm, 90cm, dan 100cm. Selain pengujian jarak, alat juga diuji pada sudut 0°, 30° kanan dan kiri serta 60° kanan dan kiri. Output alat berupa bunyi buzzer. Hasil penelitian rancang bangun alat bantu jalan bagi penyandang tunanetra yang telah dibuat memiliki akurasi 99,995% dan presisi (repeatability) sebesar 98,600%. Adapun, alat ini memiliki persentase tingkat keberhasilan sebesar 98,400 %.]

Abstract

Transparent and accountable governance requires effective internal control and quality financial information systems. The purpose of this study is to examine the effectiveness of internal control in West Bandung Regency, determine the quality of accounting information in the West Bandung Regency Local Government, and assess the level of effectiveness of accounting implementation in transparent and accountable governance in the West Bandung Regency Government. The research method used by the author generally employs a descriptive-analytical approach, which involves discussing, interpreting, and writing about the research object through data collection and processing activities, followed by data analysis and the drawing of general conclusions from the issues discussed. The research results indicate that the internal control system in the West Bandung Regency Government is categorised as good in terms of the control environment, risk analysis, and control activities conducted in 2020. The quality of financial information and communication in Bandung Barat Regency is relatively good in terms of communication and information indicators, as well as monitoring of current and expected cases. The implementation of financial management in Bandung Barat Regency is categorised as very good, as seen from the indicators of current and expected financial management conditions.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has transformed teachers’ approaches to conducting learning assessments. The transition from conventional to digital assessment requires teachers to master technological tools and develop innovations to ensure that evaluation processes are effective, accurate, and aligned with students’ learning needs. This study aims to analyze teachers’ innovations in technology-based assessment, identify the challenges they face, and examine the strategies implemented to optimize assessment practices at SMAN 1 Pontang. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, using interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings reveal that teachers have utilized various digital platforms such as Google Forms, local CBT systems, LMS platforms, and gamification-based applications. Nevertheless, challenges remain, including limited digital competence, infrastructural issues, technical errors, and pedagogical constraints. The school addresses these challenges through continuous training, infrastructure improvement, digital assessment policies, and collaborative teacher practices. The study concludes that technology-based assessment positively impacts the effectiveness of evaluation but requires systemic support and ongoing competency development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze production planning and control to improve the smoothness of black cough syrup (OBH) production at PT XYZ. The company faces several challenges in its production process, such as raw material delays, sudden changes in market demand, and discrepancies between planning and production realization. This research employs a descriptive-qualitative approach using observation, interviews, and document analysis. Analytical tools include a process flowchart, Pareto chart, and fishbone (Ishikawa) diagram. The results reveal that inefficiencies in production are mainly caused by five core elements: human (errors and lack of training), machine (frequent breakdowns and limited capacity), method (inflexible planning), material (delayed supply), and environment (poor interdepartmental coordination). These findings are supported by in-depth interviews, indicating that production delays often stem from miscommunication between the planning and production execution teams. The practical implication of this study is the need for a more responsive PPC system and the digitalization of processes to enhance integration among departments. This research contributes to the development of production control strategies in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in optimizing production flow. The findings are expected to serve as a foundation for managerial decision-making to strengthen adaptive and efficient production systems.

Abstract

Firms in developing economies operate under persistent pressure from volatile competition, inflationary dynamics, infrastructural constraints, and regulatory rigidity. This study advances the literature by positioning organizational capability as an endogenous mediating mechanism that explains how external environmental conditions are converted into firm-level performance outcomes in a traditional manufacturing B2B context. Using a quantitative design, data were collected from 212 embroidery SMEs through random sampling and analyzed using descriptive and inferential techniques. The analysis indicates that organizational capability conditions the extent to which environmental pressures are associated with variations in business performance, suggesting that firms with stronger internal capabilities are more able to coordinate resources, process information, and align differentiated offerings with customer demands.

Abstract

The mental and spiritual development of Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) soldiers is a strategic aspect in developing professional military human resources with high moral integrity. The background of this research is based on the importance of ensuring that the Mental Development Program (BINTAL) is not merely administrative or ceremonial, but is truly internalized in the lives of soldiers. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the BINTAL Program, the level of soldiers' religiosity, and the supporting and inhibiting factors in strengthening the soldiers' personalities and ethics. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies, which are analyzed using the mental development theories of Mangunhardjana and Zakiah Daradjat, as well as the religiosity theories of Glock and Stark. The results show that the implementation of the BINTAL Program has been structured and relevant to the soldiers' spiritual needs through routine religious studies, premarital briefings, and spiritual guidance that touches on practical and emotional dimensions. The level of soldiers' religiosity tends to be positive although varied, with ideological, ritualistic, experiential, intellectual, and consequential dimensions beginning to form. Supporting factors such as unit leadership, active spiritual guidance, and military discipline are pillars of success, while obstacles include the density of military activities and differences in religious backgrounds. This study confirms that the BINTAL Program is effective in developing religious, mentally resilient, and ethical soldiers when implemented with a humanistic, structured approach and supported by a strong organizational culture.

Abstract

Pesantrens and communities should be able to establish partnership management for good governance and the common welfare of the economy and education. Recently, many pesantrens, however, are too busy with normative activities than social activities. Similarly, recent society is more individualistic. This situation certainly inhibits this partnership management. For that pesantrens should play their role as institutions of community empowerment aside from being a massage and educational institution. Although, in essence, pesantrens and communities are not separated institutions, because, both of them need each other in achieving the integrated prosperity of economy and education. Thereby, they can make a strong civil society.
