Abstract

AbstractThe aim of this study is to determine the perceptions of high school students about the use of technology-based mathematics learning media. The subjects in this study were 108 high school students. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire for students' perceptions of technology-based learning media. Data analysis in this study used descriptive statistical analysis with qualitative methods. The results showed that 21% of students more often used technology to learn mathematics, 63% of students more often used smartphones to study mathematics, and 40% of students more often used learning videos to study mathematics.Keywords:Mathematics Learning Media, Technology, Student PerceptionsAbstrakTujuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui persepsi siswa SMA terhadap penggunaan media pembelajaran matematika berbasis teknologi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 108 siswa SMA. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket persepsi siswa terhadap media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dengan metode kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 21% siswa lebih sering memanfaatkan teknologi untuk belajar matematika, 63% siswa lebih sering menggunakan smartphone untuk belajar matematika, dan 40% siswa lebih sering menggunakan video pembelajaran untuk belajar matematika.Kata kunci:Media Pembelajaran Matematika, Teknologi, Persepsi Siswa

Abstract

AbstractThe use of media in mathematics learning can help students to learn more easily. One of them is educational game media. The study aims to describe the responses of junior high school students based on gender to learn mathematics by using educational game media. The subjects of this study were 7thand 8thgrade of junior high school students in Mataram-West Nusa Tenggara, a total of 101 students. Study data were obtained from a questionnaire about the use of educational games in mathematics classes. Study data processing using descriptive statistics, qualitative methods. The results of the study show that there are differences in responses between male and female students, towards: fun learning and increased motivation using media games and missions in educational games.Keywords: Edukasi, Game, Gender, MathematicsAbstrakPenggunaan media pada pembelajaran matematika dapat membantu siswa untuk lebih mudah belajar. Salah satunya media game edukasi. Adapun studi ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tanggapan siswa SMP berdasarkan gender terhadap pembelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan media game edukasi. Subjek penelitianini adalah siswaSMP kelas 7 dan 8 di Mataram-Nusa Tenggara Barat sebanyak 101 siswa. Data studi diperoleh dari kuesioner tentang penggunaan game edukasi di kelas matematika.Pengolahan data studi menggunakan statistic deskriptif ,metode kualitatif. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan tanggapan antara siswa laki-laki dan perempuan, terkait: pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dan motivasi yang meningkatdenganmenggunakan media game, serta misi pada game edukasi.Kata kunci: Education, Game, Gender, Matematika

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepercayaan diri terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Sakra tahun pelajaran 2022/2023. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian ex-post-facto. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Sakra dengan jumlah 250 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling sehingga terpilih 71 siswa yang menjadi sampel dalam penelitian ini. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen angket kepercayaan diri dan tes prestasi belajar matematika. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa kepercayaan diri berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Sakra tahun pelajaran 2022/2023 dengan koefisien determinasi sebesar 7,7 %.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh penggunaan model problem based learning pada pembelajaran materi sistem persamaan linier dua variabel (SPLDV) terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Jonggat tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif, berdesain quasi-eksperimen. Populasi penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 1 Jonggat tahun ajaran 2023/2024, dipilih 2 kelas sebagai sampel yakni kelas eksperimen (n= 31) dan kelas kontrol (n=30) dengan teknik Simple Random Sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi tes tertulis dan observasi dan posttest. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji prasyarat, uji hipotesis dan uji effect size. Analisis data diperoleh t_{hitung}=5,00>t_{tabel}=2,00 menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan nilai antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol, dengan diperoleh effect size d=1,28 artinya pengaruh tersebut tinggi. Hal ini menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh penggunaan model problem based learning terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Jonggat tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Oleh karena itu, model problem based learning hendaknya digunakan dalam pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the problem-based learning model on the learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMP IT YARSI Mataram on relationship and function material. The method used is a quasi-experimental method, with a posttest-only group design research design. The sample use in this research is saturated because all members of the population were sampled. The sample used in this research was all 39 students in class VIII of SMP IT YARSI Mataram. The instruments in this research are test question, learning implementation plans, and learning activity observation sheets. Data collection was carried out using test instruments. The research results werw tested for normality with the Liliefors test and homogeneity test with Fisher’s test, then analyzed using the t-test. The result of the t-test analysis show   with a significance level of   This show that the problem-based learning model affects the mathematics learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMP IT YARSI Mataram. Therefore, the problem-based learning model should be used in learning to improve students’ mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

Background. Learning media has a very important role in supporting the acceptance of information conveyed by the teacher to students. Through the media, information will be more easily accepted by students because it looks attractive so that students can focus more on understanding the material. However, based on initial observations in the field, many teachers have not utilized the latest digital media such as Powtoon. Purpose. The media that are commonly used are still in the form of Powerpoint (Ppt) and Student Worksheets. Method. This Community Service Activity (PKM) aims to provide training and assistance in making Powtoon-based animated video learning media for Mathematics academics in Mataram City. This activity was carried out online and was attended by 50 participants who were Mathematics practitioners in the City of Mataram. Results. The result of this community service activity is a Powtoon-based animated video learning media made by each participant. This learning media created is the result of mentoring PKM activities and is the output of these activities. In addition, there was a positive response from the trainees of 91.04% regarding mastery of the material, the technique of delivering the material, suitability of the material and the needs of the trainees, and the completeness and ease of operation of the Powtoon program. Conclusion. Thus, this PKM activity significantly improves the quality of learning mathematics in the classroom. Through this training and mentoring, trainees as Mathematics practitioners in the City of Mataram can produce Powtoon-based animated video learning media that suit students' needs.

Abstract

Belajar merupakan proses perubahan susunan pengetahuan yang telah tersimpan di dalam memori melalui proses konstruksi pengetahuan baru maupun rekonstruksi pengetahuan lama. Proses belajar itu sendiri sangat erat kaitannya dengan proses kognitif yang melibatkan sistem memori, dalam proses memperoleh, mengolah, dan menyimpan suatu pengetahuan. Proses belajar yang baik tentunya memperhatikan proses kognitif yang terjadi dalam membangun pengetahuan. Berdasarkan proses kognitif dapat diketahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang mendukung siswa dalam mengkonstruksi pengetahuannya secara efektif, sehingga pembelajaran yang bermakna dapat tercapai.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of problem-based learning models on students' Pythagorean theorem problem solving ability. This research was carried out at SMPN 1 Suralaga for the 2023/2024 school year. The type of research used is a quasi experiment. The population in this study were class VIII students of SMPN 1 Suralaga for the 2023/2024 academic year. The sample was 44 students consisting of 22 experimental class students and 22 control class students. The data collection techniques used are observation and tests. While the research instrument consists of observation sheets, problem-solving ability test sheets, lesson implementation plans and student worksheet. Data taken with t-test, obtained acceptable results    accepted, there is a difference in the problem-solving ability of the Pythagorean theorem in students whose learning used the problem-based learning model with students who used the direct learning model. The average posttest result for the experimental class was higher than the control class, namely 82.41>75,00.  This shows that there is an influence of the problem based learning model on the Pythagorean theorem problem solving abilities of class VIII students at SMPN 1 Suralaga using the effect size test, obtained d=0.67, which means the influence given is in the medium category.

Abstract

This study aims to determain to increase the student’s ability to think more critize in number pattern material matery class VIII MTsN 1 Lombok Barat 2023/2024 with PBL model with interactive lesson media. The methode that used in this research is experimental methode. This research have been taken in two classes, the first one is experimental class and the other one is control class. The experiment class is used PBL model with interactive lesson media. Meanwhile, the control class is used PBL model. The instrument that used in this research is interactive PPT and the instrument that used in collecting data is the ability test of critical thinking. The average score of theexperimental class was 72.03 and the average score of the controlclass was 59.72. This means that learning using the PBL model assisted by interactive learning media is more effective than learning using the PBL model. The initial average score ofexperimental class students was 67.55 after applying the PBLmodel assisted by interactive learning media obtained an averagescore of 72.03. This shows that there is an increase of thestudent’s in critical thinking skills of number pattern material ofgrade VIII MTsN 1 Lombok Barat 2023/2024 after applying thePBL model assisted by interactive learning media.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the cooperative learning model type make a match on the motivation and learning outcomes of mathematics in class VII students of SMPN 3 Mataram. The research design used is Quasi Experimental Design. The sampling technique used is probability sampling where class VII-1 is the control class and VII-2 is the experimental class. Based on the results of the study, the average score of the mathematics learning motivation of students in the experimental class is 61.3 with a high category, while the control class got an average score of 42.52 with a medium category. The results of the study, the average value of the mathematics learning outcomes of students in the experimental class was 75.27 with a learning completion percentage of 70%. While the control class got an average score of 51.23 with a learning completion percentage of 9.68%. The result of the t-test of 2 independent show that there is an effect of the cooperative learning model type make a match on the motivation and learning outcomes of class VII students of SMPN 3 Mataram.
