Abstract

Several previous research found that leadership style had a positive influent on employee performance, while the gender of the leader had no influent. Recently, there has been no research conducted to examine the effect of leadership style and leader gender on employee performance in a semi-military environment, where military leaders are often seen as having a distinctive leadership style. This research aims to determine whether the leadership style and gender of the leader influence the performance of employees in the Military Court III-12 Surabaya. This research was conducted through a quantitative approach. Respondents are the population of the Military Court III-12 Surabaya. The results of the study indicate that the leadership style and gender of the leader have a positive effect on employee performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to examine the effect of ethical leadership, organizational justice and psychological empowerment on job satisfaction. This study uses a quantitative approach by conducting a survey through a questionnaire. The data were statistically analyzed using SmartPLS to test the research hypothesis. The findings of this study are ethical leadership has been shown to have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, organizational justice has been shown to have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, but psychological empowerment has not been shown to have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. The results of this study can be a reference for organizations in order to increase employee job satisfaction in the midst of the challenges of the transformation of the company that is being carried out. Factors of leadership and organizational justice must receive special attention so that employees continue to work and feel satisfaction at work. This study presents empirical evidence in the context of an organization engaged in education and training services about what variables have a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and empirically test consumer decisions regarding halal cosmetics on the Tiktok Shop application in the Pamekasan community. The global Muslim population reached 1.9 billion in 2019 and is expected to double to 3 billion by 2060. This development is predicted to increase 70% from the 2015 population and will represent 31.1% of the global population. The rapid development of the population is in line with the increasing demand for halal-based products. The development of technology and the all-digital era has an impact on people's lifestyles. One of them is having an application that is easy to manage and use. Applications can provide a hub to support users. One example of an application that is currently popular among the public is the Tiktok application. This study uses quantitative methods using the concept of Extended Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) theory with halal literacy variables as moderation processed through "Structural Equation Modeling" (SEM). Data collection in the field was carried out by distributing questionnaires to the public, especially vulnerable people aged 18 years and over and a total of 194 valid questionnaires were obtained. The findings of the research results show that attitude factors, perceived behavioral control are significant to the purchase intention of halal cosmetics. Meanwhile, the moderating variable halal literacy does not moderate the relationship between attitude, subjective norm and perceived behavioral control on purchase intention of halal cosmetics. Abstract

This study aims to answer the question about Is There an Effect of Reward on the Performance of BMT Al-Iktisab Kebun Baru East Java Employees, Is There an Effect of Punishment on the Performance of BMT Al-Iktisab Kebun Baru East Java Employees, Is There a Simultaneous Effect of Reward and Punishment on the performance of BMT employees Al-Iktisab New East Java Gardens. The research method used is quantitative research method and the type of research is correlational, with the research object namely, BMT Al-Iktisab Kebun Baru East Java. ‎Data collection techniques used Questionnaire and Observation. The research results show that there is a significant effect of reward on the performance of BMT Al-Iktisab Kebun Baru East Java employees, this can be seen from the coefficient value of the reward variable which has a significant value of 0.000 ≤ 0.05, the value of th 3.306 > tt 1.671. The influence of the punishment variable on the performance of BMT Al-Iktisab Kebun Baru East Java employees, can be seen from the coefficient value of the punishment variable which is 0.149. There is an effect of reward and punishment simultaneously or jointly on the performance variables of BMT Al-Iktisab Kebun Baru East Java employees, this can be seen from the significant value of 0.000 which is smaller than 0.05. Abstract

Amina Wadud as a feminist activist is considered to widen the context of gender equality for women on the one hand. But on the other hand, she is labelled as having made a "new interpretation" of the Qur'anic texts relating to women. Her thinking and understanding eventually had an impact on the position of women in the context of family law. Where a woman has equality that is not much different from a husband. The study in this paper wants to know the extent of Amina Wadud's thoughts on the rights and position of women as wives. The study method used is descriptive qualitative with documentation data collection. Based on the results of the discussion and data findings, it can be concluded that every woman regardless of status has equal rights and position in family law. A woman as a wife is given the same opportunities such as filing for divorce, working, prohibiting her husband from polygamy, inheritance rights, testimony and so on. The gender equality offered by him lies in the position of men and women who are in the same condition or situation in order to fulfil their needs. Abstract

The millennial workforce has a large proportion in 2022 and is expected to continue to increase in the coming year in corporate settings. It is predicted that by 2025, the millennial workforce will reach 75% of the total workforce (Ernst & Young, 2015). In several studies conducted, millennials are currently not only studied as employees, but also as leaders in a company. Many of the leadership transitions have been handed over to millennial generation employees who are considered more productive and have the potential to lead. Seeing this phenomenon, companies need to consider how the development program should be given to prospective future leaders, so that they can improve their quality and be ready to lead a team. Therefore, researchers will explore previous research studies in order to obtain a stronger theoretical foundation for millennial leaders. By applying the systematic literature review method, this study aims to determine the roles and challenges faced by millennial leaders, as well as the empowerment programs needed to prepare millennials to become leaders. The review process begins with the collection of 616 articles from the Scopus database, where in the final stage there are 34 journals that will go through a further analysis process. The results show that the role and challenges of millennials in leading the face of difficult situations and conditions. Communication skills and openness in the learning process are needed. Providing the right mentoring and self-development programs will improve the leadership quality in millennials (Adiawaty, 2019).

Abstract

Human resources are one of the keys to the company's success in achieving the goals to be achieved. However, human resources in Madura are included in the low category. The Human Development Index (HDI) of four districts in Madura is in the top 10 lowest in East Java. HR in the company, in this case, employees not only need support when they succeed in achieving targets but when they fail to do so. The application of the coaching process can follow a flow/stage of a simple coaching model, with this model leaders will be helped to better coach their employees. A popular coaching process used is by using the flow/steps of THE COACH MODEL created by Keith E. Webb. The Coach Model consists of five stages, namely, Connect, Outcome, Awareness, Course, and Highlights. Regional Assistant Supervisor (ASD) is responsible for improving the performance and work performance of employees at the regional level. ASD with its leadership provides an important role to improve employee performance and also organizational performance through established policies and decisions. Efforts to improve the performance, competence and, work performance of employees aim to be able to achieve company goals effectively and efficiently. Leadership plays a dominant and crucial role in the overall effort to achieve goals. This study aims to determine the application of coaching by leaders to employees.

Abstract

In this Industry 4.0 era, digital facilities are used by companies from all fields. In this digitalization development era, there are more software development companies established to offer software development services. It makes software developers an increasingly popular job today. In order to get qualified software developers, companies need to identify the smart personality of software developers. Smart personality is very useful for knowing the company’s needs in determining the criteria for prospective software developers. This research aims to analyze the development of smart personality in software developers. Data in this research were obtained using the descriptive qualitative research method and through in-depth interviews. The data collected were analyzed by thematic analysis in accordance with the results of interviews. Based on the results, it can be concluded that a software developer with smart personality has the following characteristics: they do not have to be good looking, they have to be well-skilled in their field, have strong/good logic, have good analysis skill, and can do coding neatly and carefully. The main smart personality types that can make a software developer good are they have to be well-skilled in their field, have strong/good logic and have good analysis skill.

Abstract

Stunting merupakan kegagalan tumbuh kembang anak pada masa 1000 Hari Pertama Kehidupan (HPK) yang disebabkan oleh kekurangan gizi kronis. Pada dasarnya anak yang mengalami kegagalan tumbuh kembang atau dalam konsisi Stunting akan sangat rentan terhadap penyakit, kecerdasan kurang normal, dan pada akhirnya akan menyebabkan daya produktivitas rendah sehingga efek jangka panjangnya Angka Kemiskinan akan tinggi. Oleh karena itu, Bupati dan Wakil Bupati Kabupaten Trenggalek periode 2016-2021 telah melakukan perubahan RPJMD Kabupaten Trenggalek Tahun 2016-2021 dengan memasukan Indikator Persentase Balita Stunting menjadi Indikator sasarn yang secara otomatis menjadi tanggungjawab semua OPD terkait tidak hanya Dinas Kesehatan PPKB saja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran pemimpin visioner dalam pelaksanaan 8 Aksi Konvergensi Penurunan Stunting. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Sedangkan fokus penelitiannya menggunakan stranas 8 Aksi Konvergensi Penurunan Stunting dari Bappenas yang meliputi Aksi ke 1: Analisis Situasi, 2: Penyusunan Rencana Kegiatan, 3: Rembuk Stunting, 4: Peraturan Bupati/ Walikota tentang Peran Desa, 5: Pembinaan Kader Pembangunan Manusia, 6: Sistem Manajemen Data, 7: Pengukuran dan Publikasi Data Stunting, 8: Review Kinerja Tahunan dengan teknik Purposive Sampling. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model analisis data interatif yang terdiri dari pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan melaluli wawancara dan study dokumentasi. Pencegahan stunting dilakukan melalui 8 aksi integrasi yang terpadu, mencangkup intervensi gizi spesifik dan sensitif. Melalui kegiatan ini maka pemerintah Kabupaten Trenggalek mampu untuk menyesar kelompok prioritas yang selanjutnya digunakan sebagai kunci pemberian intervensi dan perbaikan tumbuh kembang sehingga keberhasilan dalam rangka menekan angka stunting akan tercapai. Sehingga peneliti memberikan saran sebagai bahan pertimbangan dalam setiap langkah aksi integrasi adanya komitmen pimpinan tertinggi di setiap level sehingga diharapkan program pencegahan dan penanganan stunting dapat berjalan maksimal sesuai dengan rencana yang telah ditetapkan.

Abstract

This scientific article investigates the impact of price and quality of service on consumer interest in Hajj and Umrah travel agencies. The study aims to understand the factors that influence consumers' decision-making process when selecting travel agencies for their religious pilgrimages hajj and umrah. The research employs a quantitative approach, utilizing a structured questionnaire to collect data from a sample of potential pilgrims a hajj and umrah in PT. X. Statistical analysis techniques, including regression analysis, are employed to examine the relationships between price, quality of service, and consumer interest. The findings reveal that both price and quality of service significantly influence consumer interest in Hajj and Umrah travel agencies. Specifically, affordable pricing and superior service quality emerge as key drivers for consumers' selection of travel agencies. The study provides valuable insights for travel agencies to enhance their competitive advantage and attract more customers by strategically managing pricing strategies and improving service quality. Moreover, it contributes to the existing body of knowledge on consumer behavior within the context of religious tourism, particularly for the Hajj and Umrah market segment. Further research avenues are proposed to deepen the understanding of consumer preferences and behavior in this domain
