Abstract

One of the human resource problems in the Company is the employee strike. The strike that resulted in the layoff employees which occurred in 2017 until now in 2022 is still a polemic. The purpose of this study is to determine the suitability of strikes carried out by workers / workers and the process of layoffs by companies with the provisions regulated in the Manpower Law and for knowing the causes of strikes from the aspects of the quality of human resources and transformational leadership. This type of research is qualitative research using a literature approach. The technique for collecting study materials is to use library research techniques, case studies and prescriptive techniques of analytical methods. The results showed that strikes carried out by workers/laborers were illegal according to laws and regulations. The act of dismissal is carried out in accordance with the provisions of the legislation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana Credit Rating mempengaruhi Cash Holding perusahaan. Perusahaan menjadi relatif sensitif terhadap perubahan peringkat, maka akan meningkatkan kepemilikan kas mereka, baik untuk meningkatkan peluang, atau untuk menghindari penurunan peringkat perusahaan di indonesia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan kuantitatif. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 203 perusahaan non keuangan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) dan Pefindo dari tahun 2014 hingga tahun 2018. Penelitian ini diuji dengan menggunakan model analisis regresi linier berganda. Alat uji yang digunakan adalah SPSS. Credit Ratings perusahaan diproksikan dengan skala ordinal dari rating Pefindo. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Credit Ratings berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap Cash Holdings perusahaan di Indonesia. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi kepada perusahaan – perusahaan di Indonesia, namun penelitian ini tetap memiliki keterbatasan dikarenakan jumlah sampel yang terbatas dan periode penelitian yang digunakan adalah 2014 -2018, sehingga perlu adanya penelitian dengan periode penelitian yang lebih baru.

Abstract

Sebagaimana kita ketahui bahwa organisasi yang ingin beradaptasi dengan cepat terhadap perubahan ekonomi memerlukan inovasi dan gaya kepemimpinan yang tepat dan untuk memperoleh keunggulan kompetitif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi variabel-variabel mediasi dan moderasi pada hubungan antara transformational leadership terhadap innovative work behavior dan juga melihat kemungkinan pengembangan penelitian di masa depan. Berdasarkan systematic literature review, peneliti melakukan konten analisis terhadap 29 jurnal dari database Scopus yang dipublikasikan mulai tahun 2017. Hasil penelitian menemukan 26 variabel mediasi dan 10 variabel moderasi pada pengaruh transformational leadership terhadap innovative work behavior. Dapat diterapkannya variabel mediasi dan moderasi pada pengaruh transformational leadership terhadap innovative work behavior pada berbagai jenis organisasi sehingga diharapkan dapat semakin menumbuhkan innovative work behavior para karyawan atau para anggota organisasi. Penelitian ini spesifik mensintesa berbagai artikel jurnal untuk melihat variabel mediasi dan moderasi pada pengaruh transformational leadership terhadap innovative work behavior.

Abstract

The millennial workforce has a large proportion in 2022 and is expected to continue to increase in the coming year in corporate settings. It is predicted that by 2025, the millennial workforce will reach 75% of the total workforce (Ernst & Young, 2015). In several studies conducted, millennials are currently not only studied as employees, but also as leaders in a company. Many of the leadership transitions have been handed over to millennial generation employees who are considered more productive and have the potential to lead. Seeing this phenomenon, companies need to consider how the development program should be given to prospective future leaders, so that they can improve their quality and be ready to lead a team. Therefore, researchers will explore previous research studies in order to obtain a stronger theoretical foundation for millennial leaders. By applying the systematic literature review method, this study aims to determine the roles and challenges faced by millennial leaders, as well as the empowerment programs needed to prepare millennials to become leaders. The review process begins with the collection of 616 articles from the Scopus database, where in the final stage there are 34 journals that will go through a further analysis process. The results show that the role and challenges of millennials in leading the face of difficult situations and conditions. Communication skills and openness in the learning process are needed. Providing the right mentoring and self-development programs will improve the leadership quality in millennials (Adiawaty, 2019).

Abstract

Abstract Aiming to determine the effect of work-life balance on work engagement through work meaningfulness as mediation for gig workers, this research is specifically for online motorcycle drivers in Indonesia, especially in Surabaya and its surroundings. The object of the research was related to the phenomenon of online motorcycle driver profession in Indonesia, which amounted to 2.7 million, due to the flexibility offered and proven to reduce TPT (Integrated Unemployment Rate). Research was conducted with quantitative methods by collecting survey data using questionnaires to 491 online motorcycle drivers. Data is processed using structural equation modeling with AMOS software. The result show that work-life balance influences work meaningfulness and work engagement, work meaningfulness influences work engagement, and work meaningfulness can mediate the influence between work-life balance on work engagement. This study is expected to enrich the research literacy of the gig workers object, especially online motorcycle drivers, due the gig workers are not permanent employees of a company. Abstract

Perceived organizational politics reflects individual’s perception on organization’s political practices that are purposively designed to benefit, protect, or enhance personal or group interests while jeopardizing the needs of organization and its members. This type of workplace stressor has adverse effect to employee’s work motivation and attitude, such as lowering work engagement levels. However, little is known about the underlying mechanism of how perceived organizational politics influence work engagement. Employing conservation of resources theory, this paper identifies employee silence as a mediating mechanism linking the impact of perceived organizational politics on employee’s work engagement. This study employed a quantitative approach using samples of 236 government employees in Indonesia. This study found that perceived organizational politics positively correlates with employee silence, while employee silence negatively influences work engagement level. Moreover, the results confirmed that employee silence has mediating effect in the relationship of perceived organizational politics with work engagement. Therefore, stakeholders in government institutions must take efforts to prevent political practices that can harm their organizations.Perceived organizational politics merupakan persepsi individu terhadap praktik politik organisasi yang secara sengaja dirancang untuk menguntungkan, melindungi, atau memaksimalkan kepentingan pribadi atau kelompok. Akan tetapi, di sisi lain, politik yang terjadi di dalam organisasi tersebut dapat membahayakan kebutuhan organisasi dan anggotanya. Bentuk tekanan di tempat kerja ini berdampak negatif pada sikap pegawai terhadap pekerjaannya, seperti menurunkan tingkat work engagement. Namun, mekanisme yang mendasari bagaimana perceived organizational politics memengaruhi work engagement masih belum banyak diketahui. Penelitian ini, dengan menggunakan teori conservation of resources, mengidentifikasi sikap employee silence sebagai mekanisme mediasi yang menghubungkan dampak perceived organizational politics terhadap work engagement. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan sampel 236 pegawai pemerintah di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perceived organizational politics memiliki dampak negatif pada work engagement, sementara itu employee silence berkorelasi negatif dengan work engagement. Penelitian ini juga membuktikan bahwa employee silence memiliki efek mediasi dalam hubungan antara perceived organizational politics dengan work engagement. Oleh karena itu, para pemangku kepentingan di instansi pemerintah harus melakukan upaya-upaya untuk mencegah terjadinya praktik politik yang dapat merugikan organisasinya.

Abstract

Kompleksitas dan dinamisnya lingkungan bisnis di era disrupsi saat ini membuat organisasi berupaya untuk melakukan perubahan atau menyesuaikan operasi bisnis dengan mengimplementasikan berbagai strategi agar dapat beradaptasi dalam konteks perubahan. Menghadapi perubahan diharapkan sebagai pemimpin perlu membangun hubungan keakraban dan menciptakan adanya suatu kerja sama serta saling mempercayai karena kepercayaan akan berguna untuk menjalin hubungan baik antara pemimpin dengan anggota organisasi. Jika menurunnya kepercayaan terhadap pemimpin, terutama pemimpin baru dalam perubahan dapat memicu timbulnya ketidakpercayaan pada anggota yang berdampak pada gejolak yang akan terjadi di dalam organisasi dan hal ini berpotensi menjadi pengaruh tidak baik bagi mereka. Sayangnya, terdapat pemimpin yang tidak bisa melakukan hal tersebut, di mana perilakunya cenderung memberikan konsekuensi negatif diterima oleh karyawan dan meningkatkan ketidakpercayaan karyawan terhadap mereka. Fokus permasalahan artikel ini mengenai ketidakpercayaan karyawan sebuah tantangan pemimpin baru dalam perubahan organisasi dengan menggunakan metode literature review. Abstract

Organizational commitment has an important role in maintaining employee loyalty to work for a company with various applicable regulations. However, many employees are found who are not committed to the organization, so this should be a concern for the company because commitment is closely related to employee performance. The aim of this research is to analyze the influence psychological wellbeing on organizational commitment, analyzing the influence of employee integrity on organizational commitment, analyzing the influence psychological wellbeing on organizational commitment by mediating organizational change, analyzing the influence of employee integrity on organizational commitment by mediating organizational change and to analyze the influence of organizational change on organizational commitment. This research is qualitative research with a comparative causal design. The data collection method was carried out through distributing questionnaires. The sampling method used purposive sampling, with criteria employee with permanent employee status and has a minimum service period of 1 (one) year, because he has participated in the organizational change process that occurred at the BNI Commercial Business Center in Surabaya and is still an active employee of the BNI Commercial Business Center in Surabaya. This research data analysis uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM)Partial Least Square (PLS). Based on the description in the discussion above, it can be concluded that psychological wellbeing has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment, employee integrity has a positive and significant effect to organizational commitment, psychological wellbeing positive and significant effect on organizational commitment by mediating organizational change. Indirect influence psychological wellbeing towards organizational commitment through organizational change is 0.335, which means of psychological wellbeing increasing by one unit, organizational commitment can increase directly and indirectly through organizational changes by 72.1%. This influence is positive. Employee integrity influences organizational commitment by mediating organizational change. The total influence of employee integrity on organizational commitment is 0.388, which means that if employee integrity increases by one unit, organizational commitment can increase directly and indirectly through organizational changes by 25.9% and organizational changes have no effect on organizational commitment

Abstract

Porang dapat diolah menjadi banyak hal, seperti beras, mie, tepung, makanan tradisional seperti putu, atau makanan modern seperti nugget, bakso, dll. Penderita diabetes yang ingin mencoba makanan yang sehat dan enak dapat menemukan porang yang sehat karena tidak mengandung gluten. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan edukasi, pemerintah desa bertujuan untuk memberi wisatawan kesempatan untuk belajar tentang proses pembuatan porang dan nilai gizinya. Ini akan memberi mereka kesempatan untuk belajar dan menikmati makanan porang asli dan sehat yang dapat diterima semua orang. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk membantu masyarakat agar mampu dan percaya diri dalam mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis kondisi wilayah desa, baik potensi maupun permasalahan yang ada di wilayah desa. Kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa masakan dengan bahan baku porang, yang merupakan makanan sehat khas kedua desa tersebut. Porang mungkin menjadi atraksi edukasi yang unik karena nilai gizinya yang tinggi dan potensi kulinernya yang belum banyak dieksplorasi.

Abstract

Cleaning service at PT PDS is one of the professions that is prone to Burnout, a condition where syndromes appears in employees in the form if emotional exhausting, dehumanization, etc. that can harm individuals and organizations. Burnout conditions that are not handles properly by the Company will have an impact on losing employees due to the emergence of Intention to Leave. The turnover condition for PT PDS’ cleaning services in 2021 is quite worrying, as it reaches 7%. From several external factors that can affect an employee’s Burnout, organizational climate and interpersonal communication are the two most dominant factors in influencing an employee’s Burnout because both has direct contact with what is felt by the cleaning service at PT PDS. Quantitative research was then conducted on 301 PT PDS cleaning services who were randomly selected out of 1.218 cleaning services, and aimed to determine the direct and indirect effect of four variables: Organizational Climate, Interpersonal Communication, Burnout, and Intention to Leave. Data was collected using a questionnaire method, then analyzed using the t statistic and the comparison of t table values and significant p values to test the hypothesis. The result shows that four hypotheses are accepted, namely: Organizational Climate has a direct influence to Burnout level of Cleaning Service at PT PDS; Interpersonal Communication has a direct influence to Burnout level of Cleaning Service at PT PDS; Organizational Climate has indirect influence to Burnout level of Cleaning Service at PT PDS; and Burnout has direct effect to Intention to leave of Cleaning Service at PT PDS.
