Abstract

This research is motivated by Presidential Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 80 of 2019 concerning the acceleration of economic development in the Gresik-Bangkalan-Mojokerto-Surabaya-Sidoarjo-Lamongan, Bromo-Tengger-Semeru, and Selingkar Wilis and Lintas Selatan regions. To support this regulation, the Mojokerto City Government developed a Tourist Attraction (DTW) which is regulated in Mojokerto City Regulation Number 7 of 2021 concerning the Regional Medium-Term Development Plan for 2018-2023. This tourism development includes the Majapahit Marine Park (TBM), Mojopahit restaurant, PLUT, IKM Center, and road access to tourist locations. This study aims to analyze the impact of the Majapahit Marine Park (TBM) development policy on the socio-economic life of the community in Blooto Village, Mojokerto City. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the construction of TBM causes physical changes that have an impact on the social and economic aspects of the community. In the social aspect, there is a change in community behavior and an increase in the economy, seen from the buying and selling activities of the surrounding community which have been predicted because of the existence of the tourist attraction. This positive impact supports regional economic growth. Abstract

The absence of a tourism village development strategy can result in the potential of Tritik Village not being utilized properly as a tourist destination. This development strategy aims to help the community plan the development of their area as a tourist village so that they have an understanding of their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. Researchers with the community formulate a strategy using a SWOT analysis that has been identified through interviews and observations through community empowerment activities in Tritik Village. Researchers present the results of the identification of the factors which are then processed into a SWOT analysis diagram so that they can help the community and stakeholders better understand and analyze it so that the right strategy is obtained in developing a tourist village in the Tritik Village area. The results of this study indicate that the strategy that can be applied is the Strenght Opportunity strategy in which the strategy is carried out by utilizing all strengths to seize and take advantage of opportunities as much as possible.

Abstract

Turnover intention is a phenomenon that has garnered attention in today's workplace environment. It refers to individuals' desire to leave their current jobs in the near future. This phenomenon is significant as it can impact organizational stability, recruitment costs, and employee productivity. The aim of this study is to assess the influence of transformative leadership on turnover intention and affective commitment. The role of affective commitment as a mediator is also examined in this research. A quantitative research approach is employed, and the sample size consists of 160 participants from a total population of 255 individuals. Several departments participated in this study, including Accounting, Operations, Marketing and Sales, Recruitment, Human Resources, Treasury, IT Management, and Support Departments. To evaluate the hypotheses, this investigation utilizes a data analysis technique known as Partial Least Squares (PLS). The findings of this research indicate that there is substantial evidence showing that transformative leadership negatively impacts employees' intention to resign from their current positions and positively influences affective commitment. Furthermore, it is revealed that affective commitment serves as a mediator between the correlation of transformative leadership and employees' inclination to resign from their roles. This study examines practical implications as well as relevant research recommendations pertaining to the core issue.

Abstract

Empowering leadership is a leader who can influence the potential of individuals and teams to be creative and give autonomy to organizational employees. Empowering leadership has two dimensions, namely autonomous support and developmental support. Using instruments in different cultural backgrounds requires an adaptation process so that measurement results are valid and reliable. Still, until now, there has been no research on the adaptation of empowering leadership measuring instruments in Indonesia. This study aims to obtain and test a standardized Indonesian version of empowering leadership instruments. The adaptation process uses a structural equation model (SEM). Quantitative techniques were used in this study. Data was collected through the distribution of questionnaires online. Based on the results, it can be concluded that the results of this study show evidence of validity and reliability of 0.938 with Cronbach Alpha > 0.8 criteria entering an excellent and adequate scale but can still be improved by making certain modifications so that it can be a better measuring tool when applied to look at the phenomenon of empowering in employees.
