Abstract

The awareness of investors that only invest in green instruments has been increasing recently. Green sukuk was an investment that followed the Sharia principle and promoted environmental preservation. This study aims to analyze green sukuk in previous studies as an alternative financing for green infrastructure development in Indonesia. This study used a bibliometric method by taking secondary data from meta-data papers from Scopus and SCI. Forty papers from Scopus and 29 from SCI during 2016-2023 were taken as samples. Data were analyzed with Vosviewer and Biblioshiny. The results of this study show that the energy was closely related to the topic of green sukuk. Energy was mostly used in the abstract and titles of papers. Moreover, the abstract and the title showed that the word sustainable was used frequently, implying that the energy power plant could become an underlying asset for green sukuk due to its sustainable revenue. However, the government should take action to create regulations that could support the green project as an underlying asset of Green Sukuk.

Abstract

Research Originality: Indonesia, the fourth-most populous country after India, China, and the USA, has the largest Muslim population in the world, with a population of 231 million Muslims, or almost 13% worldwide. The number of millennial Muslim generations is around 59.415 million, or 85 percent of the total number of millennials, making it a potential market. This paper contributes to the existing behavioral intention literature by focusing on the integration of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT2), Diffusion of Innovation (DOI) theory, and Perceived Security (PS) theory towards sharia digital services.Research Objectives: This research examines the antecedents of behavioral intention to adopt sharia digital services in ZISWAF distribution among the millennial Muslim generation in Indonesia.Research Methods: This study used a quantitative approach with the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis method and involved 350 respondents in Indonesia. By adopting the theories of Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT2), Diffusion of Innovation (DOI) theory, and Perceived Security (PS).Empirical Results: The study results show that performance expectancy, habit, price value, and compatibility have a positive and significant effect on behavioral intention to adopt sharia digital services in ZISWAF distribution. Furthermore, the price value variable is the strongest predictor of behavioral intention to adopt sharia digital services in ZISWAF distribution.Implications: This research has important meaning for the Indonesian government, ZISWAF institutions, and application providers because it provides valuable insight into considering accelerating ZISWAF distribution among the millennial Muslim generation.JEL Classification: Z12, L31How to Cite:Hariyanto., Ratnasari, R. Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of digitalization on zakat payments, with the goal of understanding the motivation to shift from conventional payment methods to digital alternatives. The chosen methodology entails the alteration of the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT2) by integrating perceived risk and trust. The analytic method is Partial Least Squares, with a sample size of 348 muzakki observed. The results suggest that all underlying factors have a considerable impact on the development of behavioral intention, with trust playing a dual role by both moderating and mediating these interactions. These findings emphasize the necessity for regulators to continuously promote technological adaptability, develop sufficient infrastructure, and improve digital literacy in the community. These steps are anticipated to enhance the possibility for national zakat collection, ultimately leading to the equitable distribution of wealth

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Islamic Corporate Governance (ICG) model of entrepreneurship-based cash waqf. Using qualitative research methods and a multi-case study approach, research data were obtained primarily (in-depth interviews), online report documentation, journal articles, and books. Data analysis conclude that the ICG model of entrepreneurship-based cash waqf is built from a unique waqf membership model (waqf donations come from the company's Corporate Social Responsibility), determination of special donors, and determination of beneficiaries of waqf productivity funds in public facilities development programs that are integrated with entrepreneurial activities. This study recommends the issuance of entrepreneurship-based cash waqf shares, both permanent and temporary.

Abstract

The waqf is a fascinating research topic in Islamic economics (sharia). The massive potential for collecting waqf donations in Indonesia has yet to be maximised. Using celebrities as endorsers in waqf campaigns is one of the strategic solutions to increase people's intention to donate waqf. This study aims to identify the effect of the three attributes of celebrity endorsers on waqf intentions, with image and credibility as mediating variables. The research method used is quantitative, using SEM-PLS as an evaluation model. The respondents used were aged 17 years to> 65 years, with a total of 400 respondents. The variables of this study were measured using a 5-point Likert scale. This study concluded that all exogenous variables positively and significantly affected Nazhir's image and credibility. Likewise, the image and credibility variables of Nazhir are proven to positively and significantly affect the waqif's intention to donate waqf. In the IPMA analysis results, it was found that Nazhir's expertise and credibility were the variables with the highest level of importance and performance, in effect, the intention to donate. This research can be the basis for Nazhir's reference to being able to devise strategies for using celebrities as endorsers in supporting social campaigns by focusing on the expertise and knowledge of religion possessed by celebrity endorsers as the main criteria.

Abstract

This research aimed to explore the factors influencing individuals' inclination to contribute funds as waqf to Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia. Additionally, the Theory of Planned Behaviour (TPB) was used as the conceptual framework to analyse human behaviour. In this context, trust and waqf literacy were evaluated and identified as determinants of cash waqf intention. The partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) method was used to completely analyse and assess the model. Meanwhile, the questionnaires were distributed electronically to 436 respondents in Indonesia. The results showed that subjective norms, trust, and waqf literacy had a direct effect on attitudes. However, these variables did not have a direct impact on the intention to donate cash waqf in Islamic boarding schools. Attitudes did not influence the intention to donate cash waqf while perceived behavioural control (PBC) had a substantial impact on the variable.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the most popular topics and words in conversations in cyberspace with the issue of E-Money. In addition, the research aims to find out how netizens feel about E-Money with the help of Machine Learning. This study uses a quantitative method with a sentiment analysis approach using the Machine Learning program, namely Orange Data Mining. The data used are tweets originating from Twitter that were crawled from April 5, 2023, to April 12, 2023. Researchers used the keywords E-Money," "Electronic Money," and "Electronic Money" to get a total of 800 tweets. The results showed that the words "Money," "Deposit," and "Tools" are the three words that appear most frequently in discussions of E-Money on Twitter, which is a registration procedure for using E-Money for the first time. In addition, E-Money is widely discussed in tweets in the form of Quizzes or giveaways, so in these tweets, E-money is used as a medium for transferring funds. Overall, the sentiment shown by netizens on Twitter is positive, with emotions dominated by feelings of joy and surprise towards E-Money. On the other hand, a tiny number still shows negatively, especially when experiencing technical problems when using E-Money, so concerns arise about the security of their money and personal data. Then the results of this study can be used by E-Money issuers as evaluation material to continue improving the security system so that E-Money users feel safe and satisfied and will continue to use E-Money for an extended period.
