Abstract

Purpose: This study examines whether fluctuations in global assets—cryptocurrencies, gold, and the rupiah exchange rate—provide signals for movements in the Indonesian Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) during 2021–2024. Research Design and Methodology: Using 48 monthly time-series observations obtained from official financial data sources, the study applies a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis using EViews 12 to evaluate both partial and simultaneous effects of the variables on the JCI. Findings and Discussion: The results show that cryptocurrency has a significant negative relationship with the JCI, while gold exhibits a significant positive relationship. In contrast, the exchange rate does not have a significant effect on the JCI. Simultaneously, the three variables contribute to explaining JCI variations, although with different magnitudes of influence, indicating differing roles of digital and traditional safe-haven assets in capital market dynamics. Implications: These findings suggest that investors and policymakers should consider global asset dynamics when interpreting Indonesian capital market conditions. Future research is recommended to include additional macroeconomic indicators and higher-frequency data to capture short-term transmission mechanisms more comprehensively.

Abstract

Environmental damage and sustainability become the center of attention along with climate change today. One of the interesting things is the change in behavior in the consumption of products categorized as "green", including in terms of choosing tourism destinations. Environmentally friendly tourism destinations or ecotourism is increasingly becoming an option for those who care about the environment. Ecotourism is also used by many countries, including travel agents, to increase their economic value or profit. This study aims to investigate how the role of Environmental Concern as antecendent of Ecoturism Visit Intention mediates the influence of Future Time perspective and Destination Image toward Ecotourism visit Intention.  This research involved 200 respondents who had visited ecotourism destinations at least twice, which was obtained using a convenience sample approach. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) which were processed using the SmartPLS 4.0 statistical package. The result shows that Future Time perspective and Destination’s Image positively impact Ecotourism Intention.   Future Time perspective and Destination’s Image also influence Ecotourism Intention indirectly through Environmental Concern as the mediating variable. As an implication, the government and travel agents improve service readiness and perception of high-value propositions to develop a better destination image.

Abstract

The obligation to pay taxes has become very important as taxes contribute significantly to state revenue. This research aims to determine the influence of profitability, leverage, and company size on tax avoidance. The study was conducted in manufacturing companies in the consumer goods industry sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) during the period 2018-2022, with a population of 88 companies. The purposive sampling technique was used to select the sample, resulting in a research sample of 26 companies. Using predetermined criteria, the purposive sampling method was employed in the sample selection. A total of 130 metrics from 26 different companies were collected over five years. Descriptive statistical analysis included tests for normality, heteroskedasticity, autocorrelation, multiple regression tests, coefficient of determination tests, T-tests, and F-tests as part of the research analysis method. This procedure utilized SPSS Statistics 24. From the research results, it was found that tax profitability hasn’t effect on tax avoidance, while leverage and company size have an impact on tax avoidance.

Abstract

This research looks at how Indonesian non-cyclical manufacturing businesses  financial operations are affected by inflation and liquidity, using leverage as a mediating variable. The study sample consists of 77 companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange for the years 2021–2024. Secondary data is analyzed using the PLS-SEM method. This study focuses on the relationship between inflation and financial performance through the use of leverage. The research findings indicate that liquidity (Current Ratio) has a negative and significant impact on financial performance, whereas inflation and leverage do not. Additionally, leverage does not address the relationship between inflation and liquidity with regard to financial performance. This indicates that excessive liquidity might reduce business efficiency. In order to obtain more comprehensive results, subsequent research is advised to increase sample size and incorporate more variables.

Abstract

The rapid growth of social media has fostered the emergence of influencers as a key element in modern digital marketing strategies. Influencer income is no longer determined solely by the number of followers but is also influenced by content quality and audience engagement rate. This study aims to examine the effect of content quality on influencer income with engagement rate as a mediating variable. A quantitative research approach was employed using a survey method. The sample consisted of 120 influencers in Indonesia selected through purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4.0 software. The results indicate that content quality has a positive and significant effect on both engagement rate and influencer income. Furthermore, engagement rate also has a positive and significant effect on influencer income. However, the indirect effect analysis reveals that engagement rate does not mediate the relationship between content quality and influencer income. These findings suggest that content quality has a more dominant direct impact on influencer income rather than through engagement mechanisms. This study provides practical implications for influencers to prioritize content quality improvement as a key strategy for increasing income, and for brands to consider content quality alongside engagement rate when selecting influencers for collaborations.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the Bitcoin economy on the money supply (M1) in Indonesia, with Bitcoin volatility as an intervening variable. Using a quantitative approach, the data consists of 36 monthly time-series observations from 2022 to 2024. Data analysis techniques include regression analysis adjusted with the Prais-Winsten method to address autocorrelation issues, the Sobel test for mediation analysis, and path analysis. The results indicate that the Bitcoin economy has a direct, positive, and significant effect on the money supply (M1) in Indonesia. However, the Bitcoin economy was found to have a negative and non-significant effect on Bitcoin volatility. Similarly, Bitcoin volatility exerts a negative but non-significant influence on the money supply (M1). The Sobel test results prove that Bitcoin volatility does not function as an intervening variable mediating the relationship between the Bitcoin economy and the money supply (M1). These findings suggest that while the expansion of the Bitcoin ecosystem encourages an increase in domestic monetary liquidity, the price fluctuations of digital assets have not yet become a transmission channel that significantly disrupts the stability of national monetary aggregates.
