Abstract

Artikel ini membahas pemikiran Imam As-Sharqawi terkait teori pembelajaran yang memiliki kemiripan dengan pendekatan behavioristik dalam konteks Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI). Teori behavioristik, yang menekankan pada perubahan perilaku sebagai hasil dari stimulus dan respons, menjadi salah satu pendekatan yang relevan dalam memahami metode pengajaran klasik dalam khazanah Islam. Imam As-Sharqawi, sebagai salah satu ulama terkemuka, dalam karya-karyanya menekankan pentingnya pengulangan, pembiasaan, dan keteladanan dalam proses pendidikan, yang sejalan dengan prinsip-prinsip utama dalam teori behavioristik modern. Artikel ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi pustaka terhadap karya-karya Imam As-Sharqawi serta literatur terkait teori behavioristik. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa konsep pembelajaran yang digagas Imam As-Sharqawi memiliki relevansi dengan teori behavioristik, khususnya dalam aspek pembentukan karakter melalui pembiasaan amal shaleh dan penguatan perilaku positif. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa warisan pemikiran pendidikan Islam klasik dapat dikontekstualisasikan dalam paradigma pendidikan modern, khususnya dalam pengembangan strategi pembelajaran PAI yang efektif dan aplikatif.

Abstract

Intiqalul Ta’allum, or transfer of learning, is a foundational concept in Islamic education that elucidates how knowledge, skills, and values acquired through learning can influence behavior and performance across different contexts. Although this concept is essential for strengthening the holistic competencies expected in Islamic Religious Education (PAI), including cognitive understanding, spiritual sensitivity, and moral conduct, scholarly discussions specifically examining Intiqalul Ta’allum from the perspective of Islamic thinkers remain limited. This article analyzes the conceptual framework of Intiqalul Ta’allum formulated by Muhammad Anwar al-Syarqowi and investigates its theoretical and pedagogical implications for PAI learning. Using a qualitative library research method, the study explores al-Syarqowi’s seminal work Al-Ta’allum: al-Nadhariyyat wa al-Tathbiqiyyah, supported by contemporary studies on transfer of learning and Islamic pedagogy. The findings reveal that al-Syarqowi views Intiqalul Ta’allum as an integrated process in which prior learning influences subsequent learning through general principles, specific-task similarities, and mediational cognitive processes. His framework expands the notion of transfer beyond cognitive knowledge, highlighting the movement of affective dispositions, spiritual values, and behavioral habits into real-life contexts. Within PAI, this concept underscores the importance of embedding religious teachings through meaningful learning experiences, sustained practice, and exemplary teacher conduct. Intiqalul Ta’allum thus provides a transformative pedagogical foundation that connects religious instruction with character formation, enabling students to demonstrate Islamic values consistently in school, family, and community settings. This perspective affirms the critical role of PAI in shaping learners who are intellectually capable, ethically responsible, and adaptive to contemporary social and moral challenges.

Abstract

Kesenjangan antara konsep ideal supervisi akademik dan praktik yang berlangsung di sekolah hal ini menimbulkan pertanyaan bagaimana kepala sekolah dapat mengimplementasikan ke pengawasan akademik secara efektif dan berkelanjutan agar mampu benar-benar meningkatkan Mutu pendidikan yang berkualitas, hal ini mengacu pada Data terkini dari Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Tahun 2025 menunjukkan ada lebih dari 260 ribu sekolah di berbagai jenjang pendidikan yang harus menerapkan standar pendidikan sehingga mendapatkan lulusan berkualitas dan bersaing secara nasional maupun global, dengan adanya laporan Rapor Pendidikan Indonesia 2025 menunjukkan masih adanya tantangan signifikan, seperti penurunan indeks keamanan dan kebinekaan di sekolah yang mencapai lebih dari 10% pada beberapa jenjang pendidikan, maka menandakan perlunya pengawasan yang lebih efektif untuk menjamin lingkungan belajar yang kondusif dan aman bagi siswa, Artikel ini bertujuan untuk memahami model pengawas oleh kepala sekolah dalam buku Al-Idarah Al- Madrosiyah Al-Hadistah oleh Judad Ezzat Atwi, yang diterbitkan di Jordan oleh penerbit Daral Thaqafa pada tahun 2001. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah mampu sebagai konsultan mengatasi kendala pembelajaran berdasarkan bukti, bukan hanya sebagai pengawas administratif.  Studi lanjutan harus dilakukan guna mengukur transformasi budaya sekolah untuk peningkatan mutu pendidikan yang lebih bermakna dan berkelanjutan. Fokus penelitian ini dapat memperdalam pemahaman mengenai model kepala sekolah dalam menjalankan sebagai pengawas yang bertanggung jawab terhadap sekolah maupun lembaga untuk menunjukkan pendidikan yang berkualitas.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze Imam As-Syarkawi’s perspective in Al-Ta‘allamu Nadhariyat wat Thabiqat on lesson plan strategies and its relevance to contemporary education. The method applied is library research with a descriptive qualitative approach. The findings reveal that As-Syarkawi emphasizes the importance of planning that aligns with learning objectives, students’ characteristics, and the integration of theory (nadhariyat) and practice (thabiqat). Teachers are viewed as planners, educators, and evaluators who play a central role in directing the learning process. His thoughts remain relevant to modern educational paradigms, particularly the Merdeka Belajar curriculum which highlights collaborative, contextual, and student-centered learning. This study concludes that well-prepared lesson plan strategies can create effective education processes and shape intelligent, virtuous, and competitive generations.

Abstract

The principal plays a crucial role in improving the quality of education through the ability to analyze and resolve problems that arise within the school environment. As the primary leader, he or she is required to possess creativity, innovation, and wisdom in decision-making to avoid stagnation or decline in the quality of education. The principal's role extends beyond that of a manager who manages processes, resources, and goal achievement, but also as a decision-maker capable of clearly defining problems, finding alternative solutions, and determining the best option. Problem-solving strategies include problem formulation, analysis of alternatives using various models (bounded rationality, chaotic models, and implicit preferences), and assessment of the strengths and weaknesses of each option. The chosen decision must be implemented and evaluated to ensure its effectiveness in the short and long term. Therefore, the quality of a principal's leadership in establishing policies and making decisions has a significant influence on the effectiveness of school management and the achievement of formulated educational goals. Abstract

The curriculum is a central component of the educational system because it serves as the foundation for formulating learning objectives, materials, methods, and assessments. In Indonesia, the curriculum is designed to respond to the National Education Standards (SNP), which encompass eight aspects ranging from content standards to assessment. One prominent figure relevant to curriculum development, particularly in the field of language education, is Rusydi Ahmad Thu’aimah. He emphasizes that the selection and organization of learning materials must be based on linguistic, educational, psychological, and social principles, and should be arranged gradually, proportionally, and contextually. This paper discusses the relevance of Thu’aimah’s theories to the Indonesian curriculum, analyzes the effectiveness of its implementation using the indicators he proposed, and provides recommendations for improvement. The findings indicate that although Indonesia’s curriculum has incorporated competency-based and differentiated learning, challenges remain in the quality of teaching materials, the role of teachers as facilitators, and an evaluation system that overemphasizes cognitive aspects. Therefore, improvements are needed through the formulation of operational objectives, the enhancement of teaching materials and textbooks, the application of active learning methods, and more holistic evaluation practices. With these improvements, the Indonesian curriculum is expected to better align with educational quality standards while also adhering to the principles of effective material development as proposed by Rusydi Ahmad Thu’aimah.

Abstract

This study aims to explore Al-Syarqawi’s concept of learning motivation and its relevance to the development of students’ interest in learning within the framework of modern Islamic education. The research adopts a qualitative approach with a library research method and applies content analysis to Al-Ta’allum: Al-Nadhariyat wa Al-Tatbiqiyyah and other relevant references. The results show that Al-Syarqawi places motivation as a fundamental condition that determines the continuity and success of the learning process. Motivation, both intrinsic and extrinsic, covers spiritual, psychological, social, and biological dimensions that guide students toward meaningful learning experiences. Al-Syarqawi emphasizes that spiritual motivation should be integrated into the educational process to create balance between intellectual development and moral-spiritual growth. His thought remains relevant to holistic and character-based education, especially in the context of the Merdeka Curriculum, which promotes student independence, creativity, and moral responsibility. Thus, this study contributes to enriching Islamic educational thought by providing an integrative perspective that harmonizes spiritual, psychological, and pedagogical values to enhance students’ motivation and learning engagement.

Abstract

This article examines the pedagogical crisis in contemporary Islamic education, which tends to be reductionist and oriented toward the transfer of knowledge alone, thereby neglecting the spiritual and ethical dimensions of students. In response to this issue, this study aims to formulate a theoretical framework called the Pedagogy of Love through a systematic interpretation of M. Quraish Shihab's Tafsir al-Misbah. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method, while data analysis is carried out descriptively and analytically through a combination of content analysis and a hermeneutic approach. The results show that the Pedagogy of Love rests on three main pillars, namely: (1) the axiology of rahmah as a spiritual foundation manifested in exemplary behavior (uswah ḥasanah); (2) dialogical-humanistic learning as a pedagogical approach that honors the minds and hearts of students; and (3) an integrative curriculum that synergizes naqli and 'aqli knowledge. These findings confirm that the Pedagogy of Love is a transformative solution in shaping individuals who are not only intellectually superior, but also emotionally and spiritually mature, so that they are able to realize the ideal of insān kāmil, which is oriented towards the value of raḥmatan lil-‘ālamīn

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis perbedaan dan titik temu antara konsep Total Quality Management (TQM) dalam perspektif Barat dan nilai-nilai kualitas dalam Islam menurut Rusdi Ahmad Thaimah. TQM sebagai pendekatan manajerial modern menekankan perbaikan berkelanjutan, kepuasan pelanggan, efisiensi, dan pelibatan seluruh anggota organisasi. Namun, konsep ini sering kali bersifat teknis dan berfokus pada aspek material. Sebaliknya, nilai-nilai kualitas dalam Islam bersumber dari wahyu dan berakar pada prinsip spiritual seperti ihsan, itqan, amanah, istiqamah, dan tanggung jawab moral. Nilai-nilai tersebut memandang kualitas bukan hanya sebagai hasil kerja, tetapi juga sebagai wujud ibadah dan penghambaan kepada Allah. Penelitian menggunakan metode studi pustaka dengan pendekatan kualitatif, mengkaji literatur Barat tentang TQM serta pemikiran sarjana Muslim. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa TQM dan nilai kualitas Islam memiliki tujuan serupa dalam peningkatan mutu, namun berbeda dalam landasan filosofis. Integrasi keduanya dinilai penting untuk menciptakan manajemen mutu yang tidak hanya unggul secara teknis, tetapi juga berakar pada etika dan spiritualitas. Penelitian ini memberikan dasar konseptual bagi pengembangan manajemen mutu pendidikan Islam yang lebih holistik dan sesuai kebutuhan lembaga modern.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam mengintegrasikan kurikulum pada jenjang pendidikan menengah. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi yang melibatkan kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum, serta guru. Analisis data dilakukan melalui studi pustaka pada kajian-kajian literatur relevan. Penelitian ini mengacu pada teori Judad Ezzat Atwi yang mengusung administrasi sekolah modern oleh kepala sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah berperan penting dalam perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi integrasi kurikulum. gagasan Atwi tentang manajemen sekolah modern dan kepemimpinan pembelajaran, kemudian mengaitkannya dengan tahapan perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi kurikulum integrasi di sekolah. Kebaruan artikel ini terletak pada sintesis kerangka manajemen Atwi dengan wacana pendidikan Islam integratif sehingga dapat menjadi model teoritik penguatan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam integrasi kurikulum. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah yang visioner dan partisipatif menjadi kunci keberhasilan integrasi kurikulum di jenjang pendidikan menengah.
