Abstract

This study aims to examine Bahtsul Masā'il as a model of traditional Islamic collective ijtihād by analyzing the epistemological foundations and methodological practices of the Ma'al-Ikhwan Mudzakarah Forum at Salafiyah-Syafi'iyah Islamic Boarding School, Sukorejo, East Java, Indonesia. The research employed a qualitative case study design involving participant observation, semi-structured interviews with kiai, forum leaders, musahhih, teachers, and senior students, as well as document analysis of forum proceedings and legal decisions. Data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña through data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing, while data credibility was ensured through source triangulation, method triangulation, and member checking. The findings reveal that the forum develops an integrative model of collective ijtihād by combining classical Islamic legal sources (kutub al-turāth), uṣūl al-fiqh, qawā'id fiqhiyyah, maqāṣid al-sharī'ah, and contextual analysis within a structured deliberative process. The study also demonstrates that methodological contestation functions as a constructive mechanism for strengthening legal reasoning rather than generating institutional conflict. It concludes that Bahtsul Masā'il serves not only as a forum for legal decision-making but also as an educational model for cultivating critical reasoning, collaborative scholarship, and methodological competence among pesantren scholars. These findings contribute to the development of Islamic legal studies and offer a conceptual framework for strengthening collective ijtihād in responding to contemporary challenges within Islamic educational institutions.

Abstract

الغرض من هذه الدراسة هو تحديد تصميم ماكيبا كوسيط تفاعلي متعدد الوسائط في تعليم مهارة الكتابة العربية للصف الخامس في المدرسة الابتدائية، والتحقق من صحة الخبراء لمنتجات ماكيبا كوسيط تفاعلي متعدد الوسائط في تعليم مهارة الكتابة العربية للصف الخامس في المدرسة الابتدائية، و فعالية استخدام الوسائط المتعددة التفاعلية (ماكيبا) في تحسين مهارة الكتابة في المدرسة الابتدائية. هذه الدراسة هي نوع من الأبحاث التي تستخدم أساليب البحث والتطوير أو تسمى عادةً البحث والتطوير (R&D). استخدمت هذه الدراسة نموذج ADDIE. كانت تقنيات جمع البيانات هي الملاحظة والمقابلات والتوثيق والاستبيانات والاختبارات. أظهرت نتائج الدراسة ما يلي: (1) تطوير تصميم الوسائط المتعددة التفاعلية ماكيبا باستخدام نموذج ADDIE (التحليل والتصميم والتطوير والتنفيذ والتقييم) لدعم مهارة الكتابة العربية من خلال الجمع بين العناصر المرئية والصوتية وتمارين الكتابة المباشرة. (2) دلت نتائج التحقق من صحة الخبراء على أن الوسائط مناسبة جدًا للاستخدام في التعليم، بنسبة 92٪ من خبراء المواد و94٪ من خبراء الوسائط. (3) دلت نتائج اختبار الفعالية أنها بقيمة N-Gain بلغت 0.56 وهي من الفئة المتوسطة وأن فعالية استخدام وسائل ماكيبا تساوي 56.10% و هي تعد من ضمن الفئة الفعالة المعتدلة (درجة الكفاية) مما يشير إلى أن وسائل ماكيبا فعالة في تحسين مهارة الكتابة لدى طلاب الصف الخامس

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of educational management of non-formal institutions based on the values of the Qur'an and Hadith and identify relevant management models to improve the effectiveness of institutional management. The background of the research shows that non-formal education has a strategic role, but its management practices still face various obstacles, such as limited human resources, weak planning, and a lack of innovation. This research uses a literature study method by examining accredited journals, research reports, and scientific papers related to non-formal education management and Islamic management perspectives. The analysis was carried out through a content approach to find the main themes that formed the pattern of implementation of Qur'an and Hadith values in the management function. The results of the study show that the values of trust, deliberation, ihsan, and hisbah play an important role in strengthening the functions of planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising in non-formal institutions. The discussion emphasized that the integration of these values is able to answer managerial weaknesses empirically and produce a more effective, participatory, and Islamic management model. This research makes a conceptual contribution to the development of the management of non-formal institutions in Indonesia. In conclusion, management based on the values of the Qur'an and Hadith not only improves the quality of governance of non-formal institutions but also strengthens the character and spirituality of education as a whole.
