Abstract

This service aims to improve lecturer skill and comprehension of the application of instructional approaches in shaping the character of students at the Bandung College of Administrative Sciences in Cibeunying Kidul District, Bandung City. This dedication is motivated by the need for lecturers who are motivated to improve competency and who have the ability to use instructional tactics to shape students' character. The degree of the students' bad character and the lecturers' poor teaching techniques is the dull everyday instructional routine. This service took place on Thursday, June 3, 2023. Field surveys (locations), conversations, information collection, and lecturer observations were initially carried out in order to deliver this service. After that, teachers received training and help with regard to enhancing their competency as lecturers and putting character-development teaching methodologies into practise. The output objectives for this volunteer initiative include scientific publications, online content, YouTube activities, and photo documentation of PKM activities. It is common to use workshops, seminars, and question-and-answersessions.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the important role of organizational support and training in an effort to improve the performance of Bandung City Transportation Department employees. Organizational support is measured through the dimensions of caring, consideration, problem solving assistance, and the ability to forgive mistakes, while training is measured through training needs, planning, and evaluation. The sample used was 116 employees of the Bandung City Transportation Department. Analysis using multiple linear regression. The results of the analysis show that organizational support and training have a positive and significant impact on employee performance in the aspects of quality, quantity, timeliness and responsibility. The implication is that the transportation agency can consider developing stronger organizational support and optimizing appropriate training programs to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness. Future research could explore other factors that influence employee performance in broader and more diverse contexts.

Abstract

Problems related to existence and economic independence for activities that are cultural preservation require hard work. This is fully felt by Sanggar Gong Pro which is a studio that dedicates itself to efforts to preserve traditional dance culture. Therefore, academic synergy is needed to realize the existence of Sanggar Gong Pro so that it has economic independence. This synergy is in the form of community service that aims to improve Sanggar Gong Pro's digital marketing capabilities. The methodology includes initial assessment, training, and assistance in creating digital marketing strategies. The result is a significant increase in the digital marketing capabilities of Sanggar Gong Pro managers, increased participant participation, and public awareness about preserving dance culture. This service not only benefits dance studios, but also contributes to cultural preservation and the development of digital marketing competencies in the local community. This illustrates how the potential of digital marketing can support traditional arts and culture in the modern era

Abstract

Writing this study aims to determine the influence of leadership style and communication on employee performance. The background of this research is that employee performance is very important in organizations and institutions, where performance is the result of work that can be achieved either individually or in groups within an organization in accordance with their respective responsibilities. One of the successes or failures of an organization is the leadership that runs within the organization. A successful leader is a leader who is able to create good communication and encourage his subordinates by creating growth and development of employee performance. The population and sample in this study were employees of the Lumajang District Social Service as many as 40 respondents. The sampling technique is probability sampling with simple random sampling technique and the collection method is using a questionnaire. The data analysis method used multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that leadership style has a significant effect on employee performance, while communication has no significant effect on employee performance at the Lumajang Regency Social Service.

Abstract

Currently the development of the coffee shop industry is increasing. This phenomenon is also seen in Lumajang City. Cafes or coffee shops are in great demand by business people, so many cafes appear every year, one of which is GA Cafe Lumjang.The solution offered in this phenomenon is by develop appropriate marketing strategies such as atmosphere and product taste suitability to maintain customer loyalty. This study aims to determine the effect of cafe atmosphere and product taste suitability on consumer loyalty at GA Cafe Lumajang partially. The research method used is a quantitative research method with multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The number of samples in this study were 94 respondents. The research was carried out by spreadingquestionnaire to consumers GA Cafe Lumajang. The results of this study indicate that cafe atmosphere and product taste suitability have a significant effect on consumer loyalty with a coefficient of determination of 35.4%, the remaining 64.6% of consumer loyalty can be influenced by other variables such as location, service, promotion and product diversity.

Abstract

Technological developments in the form of implementing online sales are currently widely used by several MSMEs. But there are still many who still sell offline. Including what happened to one UMKM in Banyuwangi. The purpose of this activity is to introduce MSME products to the wider community without being bound by distance and time, increase the community's ability to use digital marketing, and increase sales. The method used includes the planning, implementation, and evaluation stages. Participants in this activity came from MSMEs in the Banyuwangi Papring Environment. Analysis of the results of activity evaluation is carried out using descriptive statistics and is measured using indicators of knowledge, understanding, and practical skills. The results of the analysis show that the existence of training and mentoring programs is very good and able to improve the abilities of the trainees. The increase was shown from the comparison before and after the activity, the increase included aspects of knowledge, understanding and practical skills. Training participants are able to operate the features in the digital marketing platform and are able to buy and sell online.

Abstract

Performance is the achievement of work results obtained in various ways that are expected in accordance with organizational goals. This study aims to examine the direct and indirect effects of work discipline and compensation on employee performance, work discipline on employee performance through compensation mediation. The research location is in a government agency in Probolinggo Regency. The sample used was 63 people from government agencies. The mediation analysis model uses the Jamovi application. The results showed that compensation was not able to mediate work discipline on employee performance, but compensation was able to have a direct effect on employee performance. Likewise, work discipline can have a direct effect on employee performance so that work discipline has a total positive and significant influence on employee performance after being mediated by compensation. Increasing discipline by paying attention to timeliness of work, increasing work compensation by providing adequate incentives and increasing employee performance by fostering a greater sense of responsibility the goal.

Abstract

Research objective: This study aims to explore local wisdom in Bantengan art and analyze accounting records of transactions that occur during the implementation of Bantengan art. Method/approach: The type of method used is a qualitative method with an ethnomethodological approach, where the author analyzes a culture in the form of the art of "Bantengan," focusing on the "Reality" or the social aspects of everyday life. Results: The results of the study show that Bantengan art contains values ​​of wisdom, including "Nguri-uri Budaya, Guyup Rukun, Modal Sosial." These three values ​​are implemented in the costs for cultural preservation, transparency in financial reporting, and voluntary costs. Implications of the practice: This research has identified local wisdom and successfully traced accounting practices in the bantengan art. Originality/novelty: This research combines the results of local wisdom values ​​with accounting science which has never been done in Bantengan art.

Abstract

The purpose of this activity is to improve the skills of participants, especially housewives, in processing wood waste into products with sales value, while empowering them economically and socially. The methods used include three main stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation. In the planning stage, training needs are identified, materials are prepared, and tools and materials are procured. Implementation is carried out through the delivery of theoretical materials and direct practice, where participants are trained to process wood waste into products such as plaques and wall decorations. Evaluation is carried out qualitatively through interviews and open questionnaires to understand the experiences and perceptions of participants. The results show that the majority of participants felt that this training was very useful, although there were suggestions to extend the duration of the practical sessions. Participants also showed good abilities in producing creative products that have the potential to provide additional income. The implications of this activity are an increase in skills and economic opportunities for participants, as well as a positive contribution to the environment through the utilization of wood waste. This training also shows that a practice-based approach is very effective in developing new skills in the creative economy sector.
