Abstract

Abstract

Adolescence is a transition period of human life. Various problems were experienced at that time, especially regarding reproductive health. During the COVID-19 pandemic, youth groups and posyandu activities were stopped. There were many activities previously made by the youth, including joint sports, joint dawn, and Friday night recitations. This shows that there are no activities related to reproductive health. Therefore, the purpose of this community service is to form youth care about reproductive health. The service activities are carried out through 6 stages, starting with discussions with partners about the importance of youth activities in the Covid-19 pandemic, and continued by forming a youth care team. The community service provided knowledge about adolescent reproductive health, socialization of 3 BKKBN modules, training in making handbooks, and the election of ambassadors for adolescent reproductive health. The results are the formation of adolescents who care about reproductive health, increased knowledge, and reproductive health handbooks.

Abstract

The high rate of cervical cancer case confirms it as the second most common cancer in Indonesia which required specific management and primary prevention efforts for everyone. The appeal issued by the Ministry of Health regarding HPV vaccination which will be mandatory as an effort to reduce cervical cancer rates in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the health belief model as the influential factor for the willingness to get HPV vaccination as an effort to prevent cervical cancer among female employees in Sukabumi Regency government in 2022. This was a quantitative study with cross-sectional design. Data were collected among 213 respondents who were selected using purposive sampling technique. The results showed that 50.7% of respondents were willing to get HPV vaccination. Meanwhile, 49,3% of respondents were not willing to get HPV vaccination. There was a relationship between perceived susceptibility, benefit, obstacle, cues to action, and self-efficacy with the willingness to get HPV vaccination. Meanwhile, the perceived severity was not related to the willingness to get HPV vaccination. In the multivariate analysis, it was found that cues to action (POR=5,477; 95% CI=2,6-11,2) had the most significant effect on willingness to get HPV vaccination. It is expected that the current study can be used as an input for the government of Sukabumi Regency to plan for health promotion programs for every agency regarding cervical cancer, especially HPV vaccination.

Abstract

In Indonesia, the frequency of child stunting has remained high over the last decade, with an estimated 37 percent of children stunted at the national level. The prevalence of stunting in Depok accounted for 3.5% of the incidence of stunting, which means that as many as 3,675 of 105,127 children under five experienced stunting in Depok. Data from the Cinangka Primary Health Center, Depok, in 2022 showed 158 children experiencing stunting. This study aims to see whether there is a relationship between birth weight and body length with the frequency of stunting in children aged 0-59 months. With a cross-sectional study approach, primary data were obtained directly from 56 samples of children aged 0-59 months who were stunted by anthropometric examination and interviews with questionnaires. The analysis used Chi-Square statistical test. The result showed that the prevalence of stunting, low birth weight, and low birth length were 80.4%, 25%, and 48.2%. The study found no relationship between birth weight and birth length with the incidence of stunting in children aged 0 to 59 months at the Cinangka Primary Health Center, Depok. Stunting was caused by a complex set of circumstances that included not just the child's birth weight and length but also their nutritional intake, disease exposure, and therapy. The study's outcomes show that comprehensive treatments are needed to improve the stunting incidence in Cinangka Primary Health Center, Depok. Multilevel approaches should be used in interventions to address numerous elements at all levels, from the community to the individual
