Abstract

Nosocomial infection is infection that occurs in patients who are hospitalized. One of infection control programs is the surveillance activity. Refer to the Instructions Practical Hospital nosocomial infections Surveillance by the Health Ministry (2011), computer usage in surveillance activities will increase the efficiency of data collection and analysis. The aim of this study was to develop recording and reporting nosocomial infection surveillance system. This study type was action research with System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method where in the stages of SDLC were planning, analysis, design, implementation and usage. The instruments used in this study were by creating DFD, ERD, data dictionary then continued with the development of applications using PHP and MySQL. Data collection was committed through interviews and observations. The results of this research was web-based applications tested using the method of Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Abstract

Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) is still a problem in Indonesia. TTS Regency is one of the districts in NTT province with high MMR. Efforts through PWS-KIA include a system of recording and reporting of maternal health services into one of the important strategies in suppressing MMR. The problem is that data management is still done conventionally. With the manual process of course many problems arise in the management process in the work unit. Information technology support is more advanced, conventional data management ways can be replaced with information systems using a computer. Data management also becomes faster and easier to obtain accurate data to use as a basis for decision making in the prevention of health problems. The purpose of this research is to develop a database of maternal health services in TTS District Health Office to assist midwives in managing data on maternal health services at health care center. Activities undertaken in the development of this database include identification of ongoing recording and reporting systems, identification of data and information needs, database design, testing and evaluation. The database is developed using PHP-MySQL web-based applications. In carrying out the data base it is necessary to support the power to operate the data base, facilities with sufficient specification, increase the capacity of personnel regarding the database developed.Keywords: Database, Recording and Reporting System of Maternal Health Services

Abstract

Malaria was a disease that caused many mortalities in developing countries. In solving this problem, it was needed a focused and directed mentoring continuously. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of malaria cadres on drug intake supervision, the use of mosquito net and environmental modification on malaria sufferers at Public Health Center of Waipukang. This research was analytic observational research with cross sectional study design. The results showed that the average knowledge of malaria cadres was still low. Malaria cadres in Public Health Center of Waipukang were less effective in monitoring the consuming of malaria drugs, mosquito nets usage, and environmental modification in their areas. Furthermore, there were 78% of people who used mosquito net properly and 54% of families obediently did environmental modification efforts. Abstract

Latar belakang: Ibadah haji merupakan ibadah bagi umat Islam yang selalu diminati, tetapi selalu ada peningkatan jumlah kematian jemaah haji. Jemaah haji Provinsi Jawa Timur yang meninggal di Arab Saudi tahun 2014 sebanyak 50 orang dan meningkat menjadi 122 orang pada tahun 2015. Tujuan: Mengembangkan indeks prediksi risiko kematian jemaah haji di Provinsi Jawa Timur. Metode: Pendekatan case-control menggunakan data sekunder dari Sistem Komputerisasi Haji Terpadu Bidang Kesehatan (Siskohatkes). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh jemaah haji yang terdaftar di wilayah Provinsi Jawa Timur Tahun 2015. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 102 jemaah haji, dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok, 54 jemaah haji sebagai kasus dan 54 jemaah haji sebagai kontrol. Sampel diambil dengan teknik simple random sampling. Hasil: Merokok, kurang aktivitas fisik, penyakit sirkulasi, penyakit respiratori, penyakit endokrin dan metabolik merupakan indikator yang masuk ke dalam model indeks prediksi kematian jemaah haji. Model indeks prediksi kematian jemaah haji adalah -2,615 + (0,495*merokok) + (0,703*kurang aktivitas fisik) + (3,221*penyakit sirkulasi) + (2,889*penyakit respiratori) + (1,451*penyakit endokrin & metabolik). Simpulan dan saran: Merokok, kurang aktivitas fisik, penyakit sirkulasi, penyakit respiratori, penyakit endokrin dan metabolik dapat digunakan sebagai indikator untuk memprediksi kematian jemaah haji. Perlu dilakukan suatu upaya untuk menekan angka kematian jemaah haji dengan memperhatikan indikator perilaku dan penyakit yang dimiliki oleh jemaah haji.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Campak termasuk salah satu penyakit yang dapat dicegah dengan imunisasi (PD3I). Masih adanya kasus campak di Kabupaten Sidoarjo perlu dikaitkan dengan data imunisasi sebelumnya, tetapi saat ini masih sulit menghubungkan data kasus campak dengan data imunisasi karena data imunisasi belum dibuat secara individual. Tujuan: Mengembangkan basis data sistem surveilans campak berbasis kasus di Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalah actions research, berupa pengembangan sistem (system development). Hasil: Pada analisis masalah sistem informasi surveilans campak berbasis kasus menyebutkan bahwa masalah sistem terdapat pada komponen input, proses, dan output. Informasi baru yang dibutuhkan adalah jumlah populasi berisiko, kecepatan penemuan kasus, status gizi kasus, penderita dirawat inap atau tidak, status imunisasi, dan komplikasi yang timbul. Hasil uji coba menunjukkan bahwa basis data sistem surveilans campak cukup mudah dan bermanfaat bagi petugas surveilans campak di Puskesmas dan di Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Simpulan dan saran: Case Based Measles Surveillance di Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Sidoarjo telah berhasil dikembangkan. Implementasi CBMS memerlukan sosialisasi dan pelatihan khususnya bagi pertugas surveilans dalam melakukan entri data, membuat rekapan serta membuat laporan dalam mengimplementasikan sistem surveilans yang telah dikembangkan.

Abstract

Hipertensi merupakan penyakit yang disebut sebagai Silent Killer dan heterogeneouse group of disease yang bisa menyerang siapa saja dan tanpa gejala. Jumlah kasus hipertensi masih tinggi dan dapat meningkatkan risiko stroke, jantung koroner dan gagal ginjal. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan menganalisis besar risiko kejadian hipertensi berdasarkan faktor perilaku pada Tentara Nasional Indonesia (TNI) di Rumkital Dr. Ramelan Surabaya pada tahun 2015. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional analitik dengan rancang bangun kasus kontrol. Responden terdiri dari 44 kasus dan 44 kontrol yang diambil secara acak dengan melihat kondisi kesehatan responden. Data diperoleh dari rekam medik dan wawancara dengan kuesioner. Analisis data menggunakan perhitungan OR dengan Epi Info dengan kemaknaan 95% CI. Hasil analisis didapatkan besar risiko hipertensi adalah aktifitas fisik/olahraga (OR=10,06; 95% CI = 3,20<OR<34,50), konsumsi rokok (OR=2,61; 95% CI1,00<OR<6,93), konsumsi natrium (OR = 1,75 ; 95% CI = 0,31<OR<11,97), konsumsi lemak (OR=3,33; 95% CI=1,10<OR<10,38) dan tingkat stress (OR=9,07; 95% CI=3,13<OR<27,17). Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah aktifitas fisik/olahraga, konsumsi rokok, konsumsi lemak dan tingkat stress memiliki nilai OR yang bermakna sedangkan konsumsi natrium memiliki nilai OR tidak bermakna.

Abstract

Kadar Kolesterol total di dalam darah sangat berpengaruh terhadap pembentukan plak pada dinding pembuluh darah. Kadar kolesterol yang melebihi batas normal akan memicu terjadinya proses aterosklerosis, aterosklerosis  merupakan manifestasi klinis dari Penyakit Jantung Koroner. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis hubungan antara pola makan dengan kadar kolesterol total. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional analitik, menggunakan desain penelitian case control . Sampel penelitian ini sebesar 56 orang yang terdiri dari 28 kasus dan 28 kontrol.  Sampel diambil secara acak menggunakan simple random sampling. Analisis data menggunakan  uji statistik dan perhitungan OR dengan Epi Info. Hasil penelitian besar risiko kadar kolesterol total adalah usia( p value= 1,00 ; OR= 1,2 ; 95% CI=0,36<OR<3,92), pola makan tinggi lemak (p value = 0,285; OR=2,06; 95% CI=0,7<OR<5,98), pola makan rendah serat (p value= 0,030; OR=4; 95% CI=1,28<OR<12,4). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pola makan rendah serat memiliki OR yang bermakna sedangkan usia dan pola makan tinggi lemak tidak signifikan. Sebaiknya diberikan tambahan informasi yang diberikan kepada masyarakat peduli tentang faktor-faktor risiko tingkat kolesterol total yang mencakup makan pola diet tinggi lemak, rendah serat.

Abstract

Poor sleep patterns of sleep disturbances, poor sleep quality, and short sleep duration may increase the riskof hypertension. Hypertension itself is now a disease that occupies a high position that is often experienced by thecommunity. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of poor sleep patterns behavior increasesthe risk of hypertension. This research was an observational research that is analytic with case control design.The sample in this study amounted to 76 people consisting of patients with hypertension and non hypertensionpatients in Public Poly, Primary Haelth Care Tanah Kalikedinding Surabaya. The sampling technique was doneusing simple random sampling. The result of the research using logistic regression test showed (p 0,000; OR 9,022)that sleeping pattern has the greatest influence to the happening of hypertension compared to age and gender. Thestrength of the influence of sleep patterns of respondents showed that respondents who had a good pattern had a9.022 times greater risk of not having hypertension than those who had poor sleep patterns. Poor sleep patternsinclude sleep disturbances, poor sleep quality, and short sleep duration. Recommendations given to respondentswho have bad sleep patterns should improve sleep patterns with a healthy lifestyle that is sleeping as needed andkeep the mind so as not to experience pressure because of excessive stress.

Abstract

Family planning (FP) is a program that can reduce the rate of infant and maternal mortality. The purpose of this study was to develop a database model for family planning programs in Primary Health Care (Puskesmas). The scope of the data base development includes the service planning program at Puskesmas working area. This type of research was an actionresearch. Subjects in this study were the management of family planning programs in the province, district, health centers and family planning implementer program in the village. The result of analysis system for recording and reporting of family planning programs in Puskesmas were found some problems: unstandardized format registers, duplicate records,manual storage of data, unautomated processing of the reports, and limited produced of information. The result of this study was a prototype of database family planning programs in the health center based on the information needs of managers of family planning programs. The developed database program for family planning at the health center can be generated based on the information needed by family planning programs managers therefore it can be utilized to monitor and evaluate the performance of the family planning program in the health center.

Abstract

Lung adenocarcinoma is one type of lung cancers that increases in number every year globally. Smoking is one of the risk factors for lung adenocarcinoma. This study aimed to determine the distribution of the risk factors of lung adenocarcinoma in patients. The risk factors observed in this study included age, gender, smoking history, number of cigarettes, types of cigarettes, and smoking duration. This study was descriptive and performed a cross sectional design. The study’s population was all lung cancer patients who were treated at Dr. Soetomo District General Hospital Surabaya. The samples were drawn using the accidental sampling technique from the population that met the inclusion criteria. The inclusion criteria for this respondents were patients who were diagnosed with lung adenocarcinoma and were willing to be interviewed. While the exclusion criteria involved patients with incomplete medical record data and patients who were not willing to be interviewed. The results indicate that the majority of lung adenocarcinoma patients at Dr. Soetomo District General Hospital Surabaya were male who were light smokers, diagnosed at more than 50 years old. Most of them used filter cigarettes and had smoked for more than 30 years. Keywords: Lung adenocarcinoma, risk factors, cross-sectional.
